Abstract

Background :Stroke is the leading cause of death in the world and continues to increase every year. The treatment of acute stroke in the emergency room in Indonesia varies greatly and has not specifically standardized the standards that must be done in the emergency room, so there will be many gaps that can harm patients. ROSIER is an instrument that can be used as an assessment in stroke patients to reduce the severity of stroke patients. Objective :The purpose of this study was to analyze the ROSIER scale in the management of acute stroke in the emergency room. Method :The method used in this study is quantitative research with an observational analytical approach, this study aims to analyze stroke management with the ROSIER Scale in the emergency room. Results :The results obtained are ROSIER scale analysis conducted on four nurses showing that two nurses are right to perform the rosier scale method in the treatment of acute stroke. While the other 2 nurses are not precise in carrying out the rosier scale method in the treatment of acute stroke. Conclusion :This shows that the Rosier scale method in treating stroke in the emergency room is still below 100%. It is hoped that health services, especially in the emergency room, can apply the Rosier assessment Keywords: Stroke ; ROSIER Scale; Stroke Management

The results showed that the highest community knowledge studied in Pancuran Village was in the sufficient category of 15 people and the highest community attitude, was in the sufficient category of 22 people, pValue = 0.000<0.05 for community knowledge and pValue = 0.000<0.05 for community attitudes. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge and community attitudes in dealing with health problems after the flood disaster. Suggestions are expected to the village government and related puskesmas to continue to carry out counseling about floods and their impact on health in the community.

Abstract

Emergency conditions can occur anywhere and anytime. However, it does not rule out the possibility of emergency conditions occurring in areas that are not covered by health workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dressing and scanning training on the skills of PMR MAN 1 Pohuwato students. This research method is quantitative research that uses the Two Group Pretest Posttest design. The population in this study was 22 students and the sample was 22 students. From the results of statistical tests on the application of dressing and scanning in the Experimental group of students, a p-value value of 0.003 was obtained, and the control group had a p-value of 1,000. Dressing and scanning training has an influence on students' skills which can be seen from the improvement of students' skills before and after being given dressing and scanning training in the experimental group, while for the control group, there is no change in skills, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of dressing and scanning training on students' skills. Suggestions for schools to conduct splint wrap training to improve students' skills.

Abstract

Pre-hospital delay is a medical term that refers to the time spent from the onset of the first symptoms or signs of stroke until the patient arrives at a medical service or hospital for treatment. There are several factors that influence the delay in treatment (prehospital delay) for stroke, including age, gender, residence status. educational factors, economic level, distance from residence, time of stroke, type of transportation, and family response. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence pre-hospital delay in stroke patients. The research design uses quantitative correlational with cross sectional. Sampling used probability sampling with the allocation proportional cluster random sampling technique with a total of 78 respondents. Data were collected using observation and questionnaires. Chi square test apply and multivariate using multiple logistic regression test. The results showed that the variable factors were age (p. 0.466 > 0.05), gender (p. 0.972 > 0.05), residence status (p. 0.000 < 0.05), education level (p. 0.000 < 0.05), economic level (p . 0.002 < 0.05), distance of residence (p. 0.003 < 0.05), time of attack (p. 0.000 < 0.05), transportation obtained (p. 0.000 < 0.05) and family response variables (p. 0.000 < 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the family response was OR=15.026, followed by the education variable OR=8.335, and the time of stroke OR=8.143. The conclusion is that the family response has a 15 times chance or is the most dominant influence on pre-hospital delay in stroke patients at the Gorontalo Provincial Regional Hospital

Abstract

Objective: Foot massage is a technique that can teach blood circulation, give a sense of relaxation to the body, relieve stress, relieve fatigue and practice by applying pressure at certain points, massage makes the blood circulation smooth so that it will improve the function of the problematic organs. Methods: This article is pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design, Theobject of the study was a patient in the CVCU room of RSUD Prof. Dr.H. Aloei Saboe. The subject of study is the subject intended to be researched by the author or the subject that is the center of attention or target of the researcher. The subjects in this case study were patients in the CVCU room of RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe as many as 12 respondents with the criteria of patients who experience Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), and patietn experience poor sleep quality. The research instrument uses kuisoner PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index). Results: Based on the results obtained, it was found that in assesssin sleep quality pre and post intervention, the statistical result was p-value = 0.000. For th assessment of the pre and post-intervention sleep latency, the statistical reslut was p-value = 0.002. In assessing sleep duration pre and post intervention, the statistical result was p-value = 0,000. In assessing daily sleep efficiency pre and post intervention, the statistical result was p-value = 0,000. Meanwhile, for the assessment of pre- and post-intervention sleep disorders, the statistical result was p-value = 0.017, which means there was a significant chage after foo massage therapy on sleep quality in Coronary Artery Desease (CAD) patients. Conclusion: It is hoped that foot massage therapy can be appliend to sleep quality to improve the quality of sleep that patients have the ICU Room of RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City.
