Abstract

Abstract: The research about implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E has been done with purpose to improve learning result of students on the colloid subject at the class XI IPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. Learning model Learning Cycle 7E is cycle model that involve student actively through the 7 phase in learning process that is elicit, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate and extend. This research plan is experiment research by using Design Randomized Control Group pretest-posttest. The sample consist of two class that homogeneous, that is class XI IPA 4 as experiment class and class XI IPA 6 as control class. Experiment class constitute class that given implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E treatment, whereas control class that not given. The technic of data analyze used is t-test. Tabulation of data result obtained arithmetic-t bigger than table-t that is 3,43 bigger than 1,67, that can concluded that implementation learning model Learning Cycle 7E can improve student learning result on the colloid subject at the class XI IPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning Model Learning Cycle 7E, Learning Result, Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of reaction rate. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the concept hierarchy. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 86.88%, 91.25%, 81.25% and 85.93%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the problem solving subject of salt hydrolysis is 90% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of student or collegian is 93% to LKPD with positive criteria.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Concept Hierarchy, and Reaction Rate

Abstract

Lactalbumin is a major protein found in milk which has great function to human body. It is a component of wheyprotein in milk. Lactalbumin was isolated from cow’s milk of Fries Holdstein breed by centrifugation at high speed9500 rpm and gel filtration chromatography using sephadex G-50 produced Lactalbumin dissolved in Tris buffersolvent. Characterization of Lactalbumin by measuring the UV absorbance spectrum at 240 – 320 nm comparedwith the spectrum of standard Lactalbumin showed maximum peak at the same wavelength, 280 nm. Lactalbumincontent in milk determined by Lowry method was about 0,66 mg/ml in milk or 9,2% of whey.

Abstract

Abstract: The research about the use of domino card game media has been conducted in SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve the student achievement on the subject oxsidation reduction reaction in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class X.3 as an experimental class (use domino card game media) and class X.2 as the control class (without domino card game media). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table i.e 3,24>1.66, so it can be concluded that use domino card game can improve the student achievement on the subject of oxidation reduction reactions in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru up to 10,45%.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Domino Card Game

Abstract

Abstract: The research about the Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI), model has been conducted in MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to determine wheterthe application of ADI learning can improve achievement and the influence of application of ADI learning model in class XI MIA MAN 3 Pekanbaru on the subject improve category N-Gain, Research on the application of learning model ADI has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of thermochemistry. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI MIA 2 class as experiment and XI MIA 1 class as control that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing learning model ADI and the control class was treated conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (2,238> 1,673). It means that using learning model ADI can improve student’s achievement on the subject of thermochemistry in class XI of MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,86) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,68).  Key Words:  Inquiry learning, Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI), Learning  Achievement,                     Thermochemistry

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the difficulties and factors that cause learning difficulties of students on the ion balance and pH of salt solution in class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative case study approach, the population of class XI with a sample size of 35 people in class XI MIPA 3. The data collection technique uses the technique of test questions and questionnaires, and interviews, while the data collection tools use test questions and questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the students had difficulty learning in determining the pH of the salt solution with high and very high categories of learning difficulties. Internal factors that affect students 'learning difficulties are motivational aspects with indicators of learning efforts about ionic balance and pH of salt solution and students' attention to learning these materials with percentage effects of 59.28% and 57.85%, respectively, while external factors which affects learning difficulties in the aspects of teacher teaching 59.86% respectively. The conclusion of this study is that there are learning difficulties of students on the matter of ionic equilibrium and the pH of the salt solution and there are both internal and external factors that affect the learning abilities of students.Key Words: Analysis, Ionic Equilibrium and pH of Saline Solution, Learning Difficulties for

Abstract

This research aims to develop e-book based teaching materials for senior high school chemistry lesson at the subject of atomic structure. The research method used is research development. The research used Four D Model as a guide which is implemented in four stages are define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is only up to the development stage. Research data were collected through assessment form filled by 4 validators, 2 material professional and 2 media professional. The result showed of the assessment provided by validators each aspect considered was a very good category. The conclusion shows develop e-book based teaching materials for senior high school chemistry lesson at the subject of atomic structure have the valid criteria in terms of content and construction.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop an integrated character education module on valid and practical subject of chemical equilibrium. This development research uses ADDIE model that has 5 stages, Analysis,Design, Development,Implementation and evaluation, but the research only arrived at the Development stage because the purpose of the research was to develop a valid and practical integrated character education module. To produce a valid module, a module validity test was carried out covering four aspects of assessment, namely aspects of content feasibility, linguistic aspects, presentation aspects and graphic aspects. To see the practicality of the module, limited testing was done at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru and SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The results of the study that have been validated by 3 validators state that the percentage is 93,75%. The results of the test questionnaire were limited to 30 students, 89,58% and the results of the responses from 2 chemistry teachers were 93,5%. Based on the principle of validation and limited testing, the integrated module on character education on the subject of chemical equilibrium was declared valid and practical.Key Words: Modules, Character Education, Chemical Equilibrium
