Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of student learning result by implementing IKRAR learning model (Initiation, Construction-Reconstruction, Aplication, Reflection) on the chemical equilibrium subject in the class XI MIA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted of two classes, class XI MIA 1 as experiment class and class XI MIA 3 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. Hypothesis was done by using right side t-test. Research result shown that the implementation of IKRAR learning model can improve student learning result on the chemical equilibrium subject where tarithmetic = 2,25 > ttable = 1,67.Key Words: IKRAR learning model (Initiation, Construction-Reconstruction, Aplication, Reflection), Learning Result, Chemical Equilibrium

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the improvement of student achievement by applying collaborative learning strategy type of predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) to improve student’s of hydrocarbon in class X SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar. The study was an experiment with randomized control group pretest-posttest. The sample in this research is class X3 as experiment class and class X1 as control class which is determined randomly after normality test anda homogeneity test. The experimental class is treated with the application of collaborative learning strategy type of predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) while the control class without the application of collaborative learning strategy type of predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE). Data analysis for hypothesis testing is done using right-t test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained tct = 3,13 and ttable = 1,67 with = 0,05, dk = 56. tcount>ttable is 3,13 > 1,67 means the application of collaborative learning strategy type of predict discuss explain observe discuss explain (PDEODE) can improve student achievement on hydrocarbon subject in class X SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar. The percentage increase in learning achievement in the experimental class is 15%.Keywords : Collaborative learning strategy type of predict discuss explain observe discussexplain (PDEODE), learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract : It has been applied the REACT strategy to improve students learning results on the subject of thermochemical in class XI IPA SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The research is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA3 as the experimental class and the students of class XI IPA1 as the control class. They were randomly determined after given the tests of normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class which was given a treatment by applying REACT strategy in learning process. The data were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it obtained tscore > ttable (5,38 > 1,67), it means that the application of REACT strategy can improve student learning results on the subject of thermochemical in class XI IPA SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The improvement category of student achievement at experiment class was high category with normalized N-gain which is 0,76.Key Words : REACT strategy, Learning Results, Thermochemical

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase students learning achievement by implementation of ARIAS learning model on the chemical bonds subject in the class X MIA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The type of research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 3 classes and the sample consisted of 2 classes randomly selected, namely the X MIA 5 class as the experimental class and the X MIA 6 class as the control class chosen randomly after homogeneity test. The experimental class is applied to the ARIAS learning model, while the control class does not apply the ARIAS learning model. Hypothesis testing uses the right-t-test, based on the results of data analysis obtained that t count> t table is 5.84> 1.67 meaning the implementation of ARIAS learning model can improve student learning achievement on the chemical bonds subject in the class X MIA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru with category increase in learning achievement high that is 0,83Key Words: ARIAS Learning Model, Learning Achievement, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research are to improve student achievement and to know the effect of implementing learning model of cooperative PDEODE (Predict Discuss Explain Observe Discuss Explain) on the balanced chemical subject in the class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. This experiment research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted of two class, class XI MIPA 2 as experiment class and class XI MIPA 4 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Abstract

Abstract: This Research aims to develop Student Worksheet Based on ProblemSolving in Colloid of Chemistry in Senior High School Subject in terms of valid basedon the feasibility aspect of content, language, serve and graphic. This type of researchis research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. The subject of this research is student worksheet based on problem solving.Instrument of data collection are validation given by three validators, and from analysisof data obtained by the validity aspect of content, language, serving and graphicconsecutively by 90%, 83.33%, 88.33% and 95.83% with valid category. Based on theresults of data analysis can be concluded that the Activity Sheet Students (LKPD) basedproblem solving generated declared valid and can be used on subjects SMA subject ofcolloid chemistry. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that studentworksheet based on problem solving has been valid and can be used in Senior HighSchool Chemistry Subject of colloid.Keywords: Colloid, Problem Solving, Student Worksheet

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. Media Chem Puzzle is adapted to the topic of hydrocarbons. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X4 as the experimental class and students of class X7 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is used to media Chem Puzzle while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 3,74>1.67, means that the use of Chem Puzzle can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,79. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,64.Keywords :Achievement, Chem Puzzle, Hydrocarbons

Abstract

Isolation, characterization, and in vitro testing against murine leukemia P-388 cell of flavonoid compounds from Bauhinia hullettii Prain stem bark have beenperformed. Isolation was carried out by extraction and fractionation. Extraction usedmeceration method at room temperature to obtain n-Heksana extract, dicloromethaneextract, and etil acetate extract. Based on phytochemical testing, etil acetate extractcontain flavonoid compounds. Extraxct etil acetate was fractionated by vacumcolumn chromatography, gravitation column chromatography, and flash columnchromatography. The fractionation resulted yellow crystal that having melting pointof 188oC - 189oC. The in vitro testing against murine leukimia P-388 cell of isolatedflavonoid compounds show “medium” activity with IC50 = 22,5 μg/ml.Key word : Bauhinia hullettii Prain, Flavonoid, Murine Leukemia P-388 Cell

Abstract

Abstrak: The research aims to determine whether the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Sample of  research is X MIA 2 as the experimental class, X MIA 1 as the control class.control class and experimental class normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. The experimental group was treated implementation of IMPROVE while the control group without implementation of IMPROVE.  T-test right side was used as analysis technique. Abstract

Abstract : This research is a Research and Development (R & D). The development process has been done with reference to 4-D model with steps of Defenition, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Research was conducted in FKIP UR. This research aims to obtain a student worksheet with Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) approach on chemistry subject Senior High School of hydrocarbon . The research and development with 4-D model was conducted only until Development step, because the purpose of this research was limited to develop and produce a valid student worksheet to be implemented based on validator assessment. Feasibility of student worksheet was evaluated from feasibility of content, language, presentation, graphical and scientific approach aspects. Student worksheet validation result obtained an average value as 91,49% which showed that student worksheet which developed was valid. Means, student worksheet with Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) approach on chemistry subject Senior High School of hydrocarbon that was developed, suitable to be used in learning process.Keyword : SETS Approach, Worksheet Students, and Hydrocarbon
