Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of cooperative learning model Time Token has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic stoichiometry at class X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the month February – maret 2013. The sample consisted of two class, X3 class as control class. Experimental class is the with cooperative learning model Time Token and Control Class is the class with cooperative learning model Time Token. Analyze of data by used t-test formula. Result of data processing obtained t count>t table is 2,07 > 1,67. It means that the application of cooperative learning model Time Token can improve student achievement on the topic redoks at class X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu with the increasing percentage of 6,299%.Keywords : Cooperative learning, time token, learning achievement, redoks

Abstract

Abstract: The research about application of active learning strategy type of verbal football has been done to improve students learning achievement on the subject of redoks reactions in class X SMA Negeri 1 Rengat. Form of this research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. Data was taken at March 28, 2014 to May 17, 2014. The sample consisted of two classes, class XB as experiment class and class Xc as control class that randomly selected after testing homogenity. Analysis of data used t-test. The procesing of final data obtained by t-count > t-table (3,572 > 1,67). It means that the application of active learning strategy type of verbal football can improve students learning achievment on the subject of redoks reaction in class X SMA Negeri 1 Rengat where the effect of an increase is 14,88%.Keywords: Active Learning Strategy type of Verbal Football, Learning Achievement, Redoks Reaction.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to increase students outcomes implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) on the reaction rates in XI MIA SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI MIA 1 as the experimental class, XI MIA 2 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) while the control group without implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 4,74 and ttable = 1,67 with α=0,05, dk = 70, tcount > ttable is 4,74 > 1,67, It’s mean implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) can improve students outcomes on the reaction rates in XI MIA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The influence implementation learning model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) to improvement of the student outcomesas high as 24,3%.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research was to improve the student activity and achievement used IDEAL problem solving strategy on solubility and solubility product subject at XI MIA 1 of Senior High School (SMAN) 2 Pekanbaru in academic year 2016/2017. This research was an action research with two cycle design. Each cycle consisted of two meetings included four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The collecting data used observation and test. The analysis data was describ with descriptively. The result of action showed that learning activity percentage of student improved and reached the success criteria. The learning activity of student percentage in first cycle was 55,56% with enough category and the second cycle was 66,7% with good category. Student achievement was seen from mastery learning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of student achievement in the first cycle was 80,48% and the second cycle was 90,24%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that using IDEAL problem solving strategy can improve the activity and student achievement.Keyword: IDEAL problem solving strategy, student learning activity, student achievement

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject Hydrolysis of Salt in class XI SMA BABUSSALAM PEKANBARU. This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMA BABUSSALAM PEKANBARU. The samples of this research were the students of class Xl IPA 1 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA 2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied active learning strategy FIRE-UP, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 3,78 > 1,67, means that the application of active learning strategy FIRE-UP can improve student achievement on the subject of Salt Hydrolysis in class XI Science SMAN BABUSSALAM PEKANBARU increase learning achievement category in the experimental class is based on the normalized gain scores (N-Gain) relatively high at 0.7138.Keywords : Learning Strategy FIRE-UP, Learning Achievement, and Hidrolysis of Salt

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of research was to know whether there was significant differences for students achievement between the application of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) on the colloid subject in class XI Science Senior High School 10 Pekanbaru. The kind of research was the experiment research with Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The pupolation in the research were all of students in class XI Science Senior High School 10 Pekanbaru. There were three classes as sample of research which were choiced randomly by using normality and homogenity test. Class XI Science 1 as the experiment 1 (TGT), Class XI Science 3 as the experiment 2 (RTE) and XI Science 2 as the Control (STAD). The data analysis technique used to test hypothesis was the ANOVA one way and Scheffe multiple comparison.The result of data analysis used Scheffe multiple comparison show that the average difference of experiment 1 and experiment 2 lower than Scheffe value (1,67<4,52), it’s mean there was no significant differences of the student’s achievement between the application of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) on the colloid subject in class XI Science Senior High School 10 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Comparative Study, Student’s Achievement, Teams Games Tournament (TGT), Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE), Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of Genius Learning Strategy aims to know the increase of student achievement on the subject Solubility and Constant Solubility Product in class XI SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-postest design. The sample of this research were students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental research and students of class XI IPA 1 as a control class that has been randomly selected after a test of normally and homogenity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied Genius Learning strategy while the control class without applied Genius Learning strategy. Data analysis technique used is t test. Based on analysis of the data obtained tcount > ttable is 2,75>1,66, it is mean that the apllication of Genius Learning strategy can improved students learning achievement on the subject solubility and constant solubility product in class XI SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,70 and at control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,56.Keywords : Genius learning, Learning Achievement, Solubility and Constant Solubility Product(Ksp)

Abstract

Abstract: this research aimed to increase students learning outcomes by application of learning model probing-prompting subject of buffer solution in class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research is an experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research are class XI MIPA 3 as experiment class and XI MIPA 5 as control class which is determined randomly after the normality test and homogeneity test. The experiment class was treated with the application of learning model probing-prompting while the control class without the application of learning model probing-prompting. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained tcount=1,71 and ttable=1,66 with α=0,05 ,dk= 77. Tcount>ttable is 1,71>1,66, its mean that the application of learning model probing-prompting can improve students learning outcomes subject of buffer solution in class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Word: Learning Outcomes, Probing-Prompting, Buffer Solution

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out student’s achievement the better one between cooperative learning models types Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Think Pair Square (TPS) on learning topic of Coloid by comparing these two models. This is a quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Population on this research are all classes of science in SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu consisting of five classes. The subject of this research are XI IPA 4 as the experimental class of TPS and XI IPA 5 as the experimental class of NHT, which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using two tail t-test. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained that tcount = -0,0926 and-ttable = 2,00 with α = 0,05, dk = 62. tcount lies between –ttable and ttable is -2,00≤-0,926≥2,00. H0 accepted, it means there are no significant differences between the student’s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) and the student’s achievement by using cooperative learning model type Think Pair Square (TPS) on the learning topic of Coloid in SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu.Keywords: NHT, TPS, learning achievement, Coloid

Abstract

Abstract: This Research aims to achieve Student competence about Atom Structure on X class SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru by Applicatings strategy of active learning Numbered Head Together (NHT) type and Make A Match (MM) type. This research type is experiment research with pretest design and posttest. Research starts from July 21 – August 31, 2015. This research population is student X class SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru that consist of 10 class and its sample is taken within homogenity, and taken 3 class with similar distribution result. Data analysis techniques include test requirements analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the calculation formula hypothesis testing using analysis of variance (ANOVA or ANOVA), found that the value of Fcount than Ftable is 8.340> 3.09. So it can be interpreted that the null hypothesis is rejected or accepted the hypothesis of this research, that there is a significant difference between the average (mean). To know that there are significant differences among the three groups, it can be followed by Tukey's test. Based on the calculations, the value of Tukey's HSD is 11.129. The comparation results obtained X1 ≠ X2 Since 18.5> 11.129, X1 = X3 Because 5.028 <X3 ≠ X2Karena 11.129 and 13.472> 11.129. Then, the use of active learning model NHT and MM can improve student achievement seen the failure by students achieve mastery learning on the subject of Atom Structure in class X of SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Numbered Head Together (NHT), Make a Match (MM), Atom Structure.
