Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 3 Ciracap melalui penggunaan media vocabulaly hanging game. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan media vocabulary hanging game dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 3 Ciracap. Pada siklus pra siklus, ada 10 orang siswa setara dengan 40% yang sudah dapat mengenali suku kata dengan sangat baik, ada 13 orang siswa setara dengan 52% sudah dapat mengucapkan bunyi huruf dengan sangat baik, dan ada 11 orang setara dengan 44% sudah dapat memahami berbagai simbol berupa rangkaian huruf-huruf dalam suatu tulisan dan gambar dengan sangat baik. Pada siklus siklus I, ada 16 orang siswa setara dengan 64% yang sudah dapat mengenali suku kata dengan sangat baik, ada 17 orang siswa setara dengan 68% sudah dapat mengucapkan bunyi huruf dengan sangat baik, dan ada 12 orang setara dengan 48% sudah dapat memahami berbagai simbol berupa rangkaian huruf-huruf dalam suatu tulisan dan gambar dengan sangat baik. Pada siklus siklus II, ada 21 orang siswa setara dengan 84% yang sudah dapat mengenali suku kata dengan sangat baik, ada 22 orang siswa setara dengan 88% sudah dapat mengucapkan bunyi huruf dengan sangat baik, dan ada 16 orang setara dengan 64% sudah dapat memahami berbagai simbol berupa rangkaian huruf-huruf dalam suatu tulisan dan gambar dengan sangat baik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) learning model with Wordwall support to improve reading comprehension skills in grade 4 elementary school students. The participants in this research were 4th grade students at SDN Rawasari Ciranjang, Cianjur Regency, West Java, consisting of 25 students. The technique used to collect data in this research is the observation method, in the form of teacher and student observation sheets and practical reading comprehension tests. This research can be said to be successful if students' reading aloud skills improve to ≥75 in classical completion or 19 students have completed the KKM (70). The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Mc Taggart model research design which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action and observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used is qualitative. Indicators for reading aloud consist of 1) determining the main idea 2) determining the meaning of words 3) ability to answer questions 4) concluding. Based on the comparative percentage of completeness of learning outcomes for each cycle, there was an increase in initial reading skills after implementing the SQ3R learning model, seen from the results of the percentage of completeness of students who met the pre-cycle KKM (70), namely 36% or 9 students, cycle I was 69% or 14 students, and cycle II was 84% or 21 students. Thus, providing action through these two cycles can improve students' reading comprehension abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of imaginative drawing activities based on picture stories on the visual intelligence of elementary school students. The research design used is Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the research subjects being fifth grade students of Aisyiyah Elementary School, Sukabumi City, who were divided into two groups (experimental and control). The experimental class received treatment in the form of imaginative drawing activities with picture story stimuli, while the control class was given imaginative drawing activities based on keywords. The research instrument was a visual intelligence test conducted before and after the treatment (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was carried out using a paired sample t-test after fulfilling the prerequisite tests for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental group was 57.17, increasing to 76.94 in the posttest. While the average score of the control group increased from 54.78 to 61.72. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that imaginative drawing activities based on illustrated stories have a significant influence on the development of visual intelligence in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve early reading skills of first-grade students in elementary school through the use of the Smart Wheel media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, consisting of planning (plan), implementation (act), observation (observe), and reflection (reflect) stages, conducted over two cycles with two actions per cycle. The study involved 30 students as subjects. Data were collected through observation and tests. The success indicator was reaching a minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 80%. The results showed that the average pre-cycle test score was 67, categorized as low. In the first cycle, the average increased to 75, categorized as sufficient. In the second cycle, the highest score reached 85, categorized as good. The study was stopped as 85% of students (25 students) achieved mastery while 17% (5 students) had not yet met the criterion. It can be concluded that the implementation of Smart Wheel media effectively enhances students’ early reading skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi dimensi bernalar kritis dalam profil pelajar pancasila di kelas V, dengan fokus pada identifikasi strategi efektif dan tantangan dalam penguatannya. Strategi yang dieksplorasi peneliti menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Diskusi,Refleksi dan Penggunaan Teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek menjadi strategi efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bernalar kritis peserta didik, terutama dalam menganalisis informasi meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dianggap sebagai kunci untuk berhasilnya penguatan dimensi bernalar kritis. penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai strategi yang efektif dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam memperkuat dimensi bernalar kritis pada profil pelajar pancasila di kelas V. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk perbaikan dalam pendekatan pembelajaran dan pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the personal potential of extracurricular members in elementary schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, qualitative research emphasizes meaning rather than generalizations and the data cannot be resolved using statistical calculations. Qualitative research is research that provides an overview of a phenomenon or situation that occurs. The aim of this research was to determine the personal potential of the extracurricular members of the Paskibra at SDN Kebonjati. The results of the research show that the potential for extracurricular members grows, where the author observes this potential from several indicators, including: Thinking Potential/Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Potential/Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Physical Potential, and Social Potential. In several of these indicators, the author observes several aspects that prove the growth of personal potential in paskibra members at Kebonjati Elementary School, including: Memory, Creativity, Discipline, Motivation, Maintaining Optimal Physical Condition, Coordination, Building Cohesion, Confident Attitude, and Responsible Attitude.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa di kelas 1 SD negeri Anggarudin, menjadi latar belakang permasalahan yang dilihat oleh peneliti. hal ini dapat diketahui dari hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang masih rendah dalam menyebutkan simbol huruf, melafalkan simbol huruf, dan mengeja huruf menjadi kosakata dan menjadi kalimat yang sederhana. Data awal menunjukkan dari 27 siswa kelas 1 hanya 8 siswa yang Sudah memenuhi indikator keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif dengan model pembelajaran tebak gerakanku karena pada umumnya siswa kelas 1 SD sangat menyukai bermain sambil belajar. Di samping itu penerapan metode ini juga telah berhasil dilaksanakan oleh peneliti sebelumnya yaitu Amalia, Harpiani, dan Zumroatun. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik, terlihat dari meningkatnya keterampilan membaca siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode tebak gerakanku terbukti meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas 1 SD Negeri Anggarudin. Sebelum dilakukan penelitian ini hanya 8 siswa dari 27 siswa yang sudah memenuhi indikator keterampilan membaca permulaan. Dan setelah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode tebak gerakanku meningkat menjadi 23 siswa yang mampu memenuhi indikator keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa.

Abstract

Basic literacy skills become a strong foundation for mastering knowledge in the next grade. Basic literacy skills are part of language skills learning which is the basis for improving cultural competency in reading and writing. Experiential learning is a learning method through the formation of students' experiences. The significance of basic literacy being so important has apparently not been able to provide awareness for various parties involved in the world of education to immediately rush to improve mastery of basic literacy. This encouraged researchers to look at and analyze literacy activities in the elementary school environment, using qualitative research methods such as case studies and the main focus of this research was the experiential learning-based basic literacy program carried out at Fathia Islamic Elementary School, Sukabumi City, focused on the lower classes. The data sources for this research are interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it is divided into planning consisting of adequate human resources and training, supporting facility resources, allocated funding resources. The implementation part consists of habits that prioritize a combination of general and religious learning such as 15-minute reading and murojaah. The development section for each teacher creates media, modules and teaching materials based on creativity related to literacy. The obstacle factors are that not all stakeholders are able to collaborate well in the literacy movement and funding is not yet optimal.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of creativity in students. Students' creativity still tends to be lacking due to learning that does not provide stimulation for students' creativity. One of the activities that can develop students' creativity is the activity of making collages. Collage making activities allow students to explore and express their imagination to be more creative. This research aims to increase students' creativity with collage making activities. The research method used in this study is classroom action research with the Kemmis and Taggart model which is carried out through four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this study is 24 students in grade IV of SDN Ranji. Data collection techniques are carried out by performance, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in students' creativity with the activity of making collages as evidenced through performance assessments. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in complete students during the pre-cycle of students or 54.17% of the number of students. Cycles I and II also increased, originally 54.17% increased to 83.33% of the number of students in the class. The percentage of completeness shows that the activity of making collages can increase students' creativity.

Abstract

Sampanvittaya School Thailand upholds the values of Malay culture. In multiculturaleducation, it emphasizes the importance of maintaining individual cultural identitywhile promoting equality and intercultural interaction. In school learning, Malaylanguage is one of the subjects in all classes. This Malay language learning is a formof preservation to maintain cultural identity carried out for students at this school.Based on the facts in the field, students at this school are less able to communicateusing Malay. The majority use Thai to communicate. This study aims to address thelack of ability of elementary school students at Sampanvittaya School, Narathiwat,Southern Thailand, in using Rumi Malay for daily communication. The researchmethodology was carried out in several phases, namely problem identification,problem formulation, solution formulation, material preparation, and teachingimplementation. This community service activity was carried out at SampanvittayaSchool for 25 days, starting from January 31 to February 24, 2025, and involved 255th grade elementary school students. The teaching process was carried out byElementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students from MuhammadiyahUniversity of Sukabumi. The results show that this language exchange method iseffective not only for knowledge transfer, but also as a means for interaction andcultural understanding between Indonesia and Thailand.
