This study aims to describe the students' writing errors that often appear in writing essays and to describe results of the peer assessments. This research was conducted offline to 13 students of class XI Language of SMA Islam Kepanjen Malang. To collect data, a test technique was used using instrument, namely the Family theme writing test. Then, the essays were assessed by peers based on completeness of content, communicative form, and grammar. To answer the purpose of describing students' writing errors, the study shows grammatical errors often appear. In the aspect of completeness of content, most of content related to 'hobby' were not written by students. Communicative form errors are made, because they often do not use connecting words between sentences. Related to the second purpose, in peer assessment students are fully involved in identifying errors, correcting, and providing feedback. Grammatical errors also occupy the highest number of errors.

The purpose of this study was to describe students' activities and responses to students' understanding of grammar related to Verben und Konjugation material with Card Sort media with LearningApps.org. This research was helded offline in class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 7 Malang. The method used is descriptive-qualitative and data was obtained through observation sheets by two observers and response questionnaires filled out by 35 students. Based on the research results, students are actively involved in learning and are very responsive. During the learning process, this media is carried out through group discussions. This media is also able to assist students in understanding conjugation rules and the group of regelmäβige Verben und unregelmäβige Verben. Students also almost have no difficulty in using the media. Overall, the use of Card Sort media with the LearningApps.org application received a positive response from students. This media is a new learning media for almost all students. In terms of convenience, this media is easy to access and use. In addition, this aspect of media display is interesting and fun. Media Card Sort with LearningApps.org is also enough to motivate students in learning. It's just that a few students are more motivated if there is an assessment and ranking.

The development of teaching materials is one of the most important elements that can support the quality of the learning process, including foreign language learning. In contrast to technological developments, teaching materials for Arbeit am Text courses studied by students at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) are still conventional and have not received sufficient attention for a long time. On the other hand, the course that focuses on German reading skills has an important goal, namely, to improve student literacy. Therefore, this study aims to develop multimodal-based teaching materials for Arbeit am Text courses. In this research and development, researchers used the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Questionnaire sheets were delivered to the material expert as well as to the media expert to earn product validity. Besides, e-questionnaires were also filled out by students as users of the teaching materials arranged. Based on the data validation results, it can be concluded that the multimodal-based digital teaching materials for the Arbeit am Text course were declared to meet the eligibility requirements for media and material with respective percentages of 94% and 95.28% so they are included in the "very good" category. Likewise, the results of trials on users, namely students who took part in the lectures, had given very positive responses to the multimodal-based digital teaching materials designed by researchers. Researchers hope that multimodal-based digital teaching materials can be used widely, especially in learning the Arbeit am Text course, and can be used as a source of independent learning outside the lecture process.

The purpose of this study was to describe the use and response of students to writing skill in the Aufsatz I course using the LanguageTool platform. The method used is descriptive qualitative and the data were obtained from observation and questionnaires sheets. Based on the research results, students are active and enthusiastic while accessing LanguageTool. This platform is easy to access for free and easy to use. Overall, LanguageTool receive a positive response from students. LanguageTool can be used as an alternative medium for self-study in practicing German writing skill. Almost all of students get the feedback on spelling and grammar, while vocabulary requires a premium version to access it. In addition to spelling and grammar, students get feedback on punctuation marks. The deficiency of this platform it requires an internet network to access it and there are still students who experience problems related to this. In addition, there are still errors such as no error detected, no explanation on feedback, incorrect feedback, and error mapping that does not fit the category in LanguageTool.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan media permainan interaktif Petak Kata berbasis aplikasi Quizizz dan respons siswa terhadap media permainan tersebut pada mata pelajaran bahasa Mandarin bagi siswa kelas X Lintas Minat di SMA Negeri 2 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan instrumen angket serta lembar observasi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa dan dua orang observer. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa metode tersebut dapat membantu siswa kelas X Lintas Minat dalam melatih penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Mandarin untuk materi KD 3.1 Menyapa ( 问候 ) dan KD 3.2 Jati Diri (个人信息). Menurut siswa, media Petak Kata memiliki tampilan yang menarik, mudah diakses, memudahkan siswa dalam menghafal, dan memahami kosakata bahasa Mandarin serta memudahkan siswa dalam mengerjakan latihan soal. Pada latihan soal level 1, 2, dan 3 semua siswa dapat dengan mudah mengerjakan soal latihan yang telah disediakan, bahkan pada latihan soal level 4 dan 5, hampir seluruh siswa dapat mengerjakannya, meskipun ada beberapa siswa yang mengalami kesulitan. Bentuk latihan soal level 4 yakni soal urutan kata yang merupakan salah satu cara menyatakan makna gramatikal dalam bahasa Mandarin, sedangkan latihan soal level 5 adalah bentuk soal melengkapi teks rumpang. Kata kunci: media permainan interaktif; bahasa Mandarin; kosakata; Petak Kata The Application of Interactive Petak Kata Game Based on the Quizizz Application to Train Mastery of Mandarin Vocabulary High School Students Across Interests The research aims to describe the implementation of the interactive game media "Petak Kata" based on the Quizizz application and the students' response to this game media in Mandarin language subjects for the 10th-grade students with diverse interests at SMA Negeri 2 Malang. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and questionnaire and observation sheet instruments. The research subjects consist of 35 students and two observers. The results indicate that the method can help the 10th-grade students with diverse interests in mastering Mandarin vocabulary for the subjects of Greeting (问候) and Self-Identity (个人信息). According to the students, "Petak Kata" media has an attractive appearance, is easily accessible, facilitates memorization and understanding of Mandarin vocabulary, and helps students in doing exercises. In the exercises of levels 1, 2, and 3, all students can easily complete the provided exercises, and in levels 4 and 5, almost all students can do them, although some students experience difficulties. Level 4 exercises involve word order, which is one way to express grammatical meaning in Mandarin, while level 5 exercises involve completing a passage. This study aims to describe the application of the roleplaying method to train the speaking skills of students of Mandarin Language Education Study Program State University of Malang. The theme of this roleplaying method is 学校 (school) with eight dialogs, namely (1) 新学生 (New Student), (2) 老师 (Teacher), (3) 介绍 (Introduction), (4) 上课 (Lesson), (5) 汉语 (Chinese), (6) 休息 (Break Time), (7) 学习 (Study), and (8) 作业 (Doing Assignment). This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources in this study were 32 students of the Chinese Language Education Study Program Class of 2022. The results showed that the application of the roleplaying method in research activities went well. The results of the assessment and evaluation of the roleplaying dialog showed that most students were fluent in Chinese dialog although there were some mistakes in pronunciation of tone and intonation. Students stated that the roleplaying method was able to make students feel confident and help train students' Chinese language skills, especially in speaking and grammar skills, and make learning interesting and fun.

The research was conducted with the aim of describing how to use Microsoft Forms for practicing reading comprehension german short text and describing the response of 12th Grade IPS 3 Students at SMAN 9 Malang towards the implementation of them. Microsoft Form is an online application which can be use for creating quiz In a simple and easy way especially for practice questionsshort text comprehension. Collected data is result of observation sheets and student questionnaire sheets which were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The results are: the use of Microsoft forms runs well and smoothly according in the RPP. This App help students comprehend short texts true or false, multiple choice, practice questions and can make good questions and statements. Immersive audio reader makes it easy for students to pronounce German and other students can correct their friend’s pronunciation errors. Learning using Microsoft form get positive response from students and this Apps help them comprehend German short texts and their pronunciations.

This development research aims to develop a product in the form of digital e-comic Kulturunterschiede as a medium for learning German culture. The purpose of developing this e-comic is to provide a visualization of cultural differences between Indonesia and Germany. The digital e-comic Kulturunterschiede contains cultural learning in the form of comics that contain Indonesian culture and German culture, besides that, it also presents practice questions. The development of this e-comic is expected to train reading (lesen), and speaking (sprechen) skills. The method used in this research is research and development with a research model following the Richey, Klein and Nelson type one model. The author uses qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques with the target users being Malang State University students who have taken Landeskunde courses. Further development of this e-comic is to develop with more diverse and interactive topics, as well as further research on the effectiveness of comics as a medium for learning German.

Mewabahnya COVID-19 di dunia mengakibatkan pembelajaran harus dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring dengan alokasi waktu yang lebih sedikit. Untuk membuat pembelajaran tetap efektif dan efisien dibutuhkan media pembelajaran online, salah satunya platform schoology. Platform schoology ini akan digunakan untuk melatih keterampilan menulis bahasa Jerman. Hal ini karena, schoology memiliki fitur yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa berlatih keterampilan menulis bahasa Jerman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis platform schoology untuk melatih keterampilan menulis bahasa Jerman dan untuk mendeskripsikan respons siswa kelas XI Bahasa SMAN 1 Tumpang. Tema yang dibahas pada penelitian ini adalah Alltagsleben dengan subtema die Kleidung. Pendekatan pada penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini adalah 31 orang siswa kelas XI Bahasa SMAN 1 Tumpang. Data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan kuisioner, dianalisis, dan selanjutnya hasil penelitian serta temuannya dideskripsikan dalam bentuk uraian kata-kata. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari lembar angket menunjukan respon positif. Artinya, schoology dapat membantu siswa melatih keterampilan menulis bahasa Jerman, mengetahui kosakata terkait die Kleidung, dan memahami materi grammatik terkait Adjektivdeklination. Selain itu, materi pdf pada schoology memiliki desain milenial dengan gambar dan warna yang menarik, serta dapat diakses di manapun dan kapanpun tanpa harus mengunduh aplikasi terlebih dahulu. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, bahasa Jerman, keterampilan menulis, schoology Application of Learning Media Based on the Schoology Platform to Practice German Writing Skills for 11th Grade Students at SMA Negeri 1 Tumpang As a result of the worldwide epidemic of COVID-19, learning is held both online and offline now with less time allocation. An online learning media such as the Schoology is required to make an effective and efficient learning platform for education. It will be used to do writing practice in German. According to the fact that Schoology offers features that can help students practicing German writing skills. This study aimed to describe the application of learning media based on the Schoology platform to train German writing skills and describe the response of 11th grade students at SMAN 1 Tumpang. The theme discussed was Alltagsleben with the sub-theme die Kleidung. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The respondents were 31 language students of 11th grade at SMAN 1 Tumpang. Qualitative data was obtained from the observations and questionnaires then analyzed it to obtain results and findings that is described in the word descriptions. The results of data analysis that were obtained from the questionnaire sheet showed a positive response. It showed that schoology can help students to practice their German writing skills, to know vocabulary related to die Kleidung, understand the Adjektivdeklination, and the pdf material on schoology has a millennial design with attractive images and color so it can be accessed anywhere and anytime.
