Abstract

This research is a quantitative study using an ex-post facto design. The sample of 102 teachers using simple random sampling technique. Data collection uses questionnaires to measure work culture and age and perceptions of transferable skills. . This study aims to (1) determine the influence of work culture and age with the perception of transferable skills of productive teachers in TKI study programs in Malang City and Malang Regency and Batu City; (2) knowing the influence of work culture with the perception of transferable skills of productive teachers in TKI study programs in Malang City and Malang Regency and Batu City; and (3) knowing the effect of age with the perception of transferable skills of productive teachers in TKI study programs in Malang City and Malang Regency and Batu City. The results of this study include: (1) there is a significant influence of work culture and age with productive teacher transferable skills in Malang City and Malang Regency and Batu City; (2) there is a significant influence of work culture with productive teacher skills transferables perceptions in Malang City and Malang Regency and Batu City; and (3) there is a significant influence of teacher age with perceptions of transferable skills of productive teachers in Malang City and Malang Regency and Batu City. It can be concluded that the variable that has the highest influence is training experience.

Abstract

Indonesia faces vocational teachers’ shortage both in the quantity and quality. One of Indonesian goverments’ effortsto overcome that problem is holding a Dual Expertise Program (DEP) to produce dual expertise teachers for vocational schools. However, the quality of dual expertise vocational teacher is still questionable. The purpose of this article is to give an idea related to the conceptual model framework for improving the quality of vocational teachers demonstrated by the teachers’ achievements. The authors of this article discuss factors that have an impact on the quality of vocational teachers and describe a framework based on a literature review that might contribute to improving the quality of vocational teachers, especially dual expertise vocational teachers. Based on the results of the article found that to improve the quality of vocational teacher can be improved through increasing self-efficacy and transferable skills, in addition to pay attention to teacher’s initial expertise and teaching experience.

Abstract

This paper presents the competence readiness of the electrical engineering vocational high school teachers in Manado towards ASEAN Economic Community blueprint in 2025. The objective of this study is to get the competencies readiness description of the electrical engineering vocational high school teachers in Manado towards ASEAN Economic Community blueprint in 2025. Method used quantitative and qualitative approach which the statistical analysis in quantitative and the inductive analysis used in qualitative. There were 46 teachers of the electrical engineering vocational high school in Manado observed. The results have shown that the competencies readiness of the electrical engineering vocational high school teachers in Manado such as: pedagogical, professional, personality, and social were 13.04%, 19.56%, 19.56%, and 19.56% respectively. The results were still far from the focus of the ASEAN economic community blueprint in 2025, so they need to be improved through in-house training, internship programs, school partnerships, distance learning, tiered training and special training, short courses in educational institutions, internal coaching by schools, discussion of educational issues, workshops, research and community service, textbook writing, learning media making, and the creation of technology and art.

Abstract

This paper presents a harmonic analyzer that used IoT and smart apps for low-cost and portable solutions. We contribute a short review of harmonics measurement methods and experimental approaches for monitoring harmonics using an IoT-based system. The proposed device was built from a current sensor, a voltage sensor, and a microcontroller with an IoT transmitter which is integrated with Matlab© cloud and smart apps (android). In specific, we experimented with testing and validated our proposal using the standard instrument under a fair treatment. The measurement scenario was taken on the point of comment coupling in the building campus for 5 to 10 minutes of each comparable instrument. Based on experimental results, the proposed device could monitor the harmonics profile drawn by the loads in the building campus. The trade-off between cost and performance is founded as the truth that it takes about 1 minute to update the harmonics data. Furthermore, the average error of THDV is 5.7%, and THDI is 4.7% which is higher than the expensive instrument. These values are acceptable based on IEEE standards.  Besides, it could monitor harmonics in real-time through an android application which is easy to use and portable. In addition, the cost of making the proposed device is cheap compared to the price of the standard instruments in the market.

Abstract

Teaching factory merupakan model pembelajaran di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan berbasis produksi atau jasa, yang berpedoman pada standar dan prosedur yang berlaku di industri dan dilaksanakan dengan suasana seperti yang ada di industri. Dalam bentuk sederhana, konsep teaching factory merupakan pengembangan unit produksi yang sudah dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan serta pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Teaching factory yang telah terlaksana di Kota Malang sudah cukup baik, namun masih belum optimal secara keseluruhan sehingga diperlukan adanya perbaikan serta peningkatan kerja sama yang telah dilakukan sehingga mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang kompeten di bidangnya.

Abstract

Kabupaten Blitar mempunyai potensi renewable energy kedua tertinggi. Adapun potensi kedua tertinggi di wilayah Kabupaten Blitar khususnya Kecamatan Sanankulon terletak pada biogas. Secara umum, peternak sapi yang terdapat di Desa Sumberingin Kecamatan Sanankulon Kabupaten Blitar, belum memanfaatkan kotoran sapi secara optimal. Secara umum, pemanfaatan kotoran ternak masih terbatas pada pembuatan pupuk organik saja. Untuk mengoptimalkan potensi biogas tersebut maka dibangun reaktor biogas terintegrasi sebagai penghasil biogas dan listrik. Dengan spesifikasi reaktor biogas tipe kubah berdiameter 90 cm serta tinggi 220 cm, mampu menghasilkan kurang lebih 0,25 kg elpiji atau 3,6 kwh energi listrik. Kata Kunci: Biogas, Alat Cuci Tangan Cerdas Higienis, Otomatis

Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik kota Batu menyatakan bahwa Batu merupakan tempat budidaya tanaman terbaik di Jawa Timur. Salah satu jenis tanaman yang dibudidayakan adalah anggrek. Namun, dengan berkembang pesatnya kebutuhan tanaman hias selain anggrek, membuat habitat anggrek menjadi kurang terawat dan pertumbuhannya menjadi kurang optimal. Kelompok tani budidaya anggrek Sidomulyo merupakan mitra pada pengabdian ini. Permasalahan yang terdapat pada mitra adalah kurang diperhatikannya anggrek yang tumbuh di persawahan sidomulyo. Hal ini menyebabkan anggrek yang masih kecil tidak terawat dan rentan membusuk. Bentuk kurang diperhatikannya tanaman anggrek tersebut adalah tidak adanya waktu dan tenaga untuk mengurus tanaman anggrek seperti melakukan pengairan yang baik, pemupukan yang teratur dan pengusiran hama pada tanaman anggrek. Integrated orchid farm hadir sebagai solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasai permasalahan tersebut. Smart technology dikembangkan untuk membantu seluruh kebutuhan anggrek dalam beberapa aktivitas berupa pengairan, pemupukan dan pengusiran hama. Dengan demikian pertumbuhan anggrek dapat dilakukan secara optimal.

Abstract

Metaverse aims to turn imagination into reality through the convergence of different technologies and should be seen as a means of lifelong learning that is not limited in space and time. The aim of this research is to identify the type of world in the metaverse to provide a pleasant user experience. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the data collection method used is the study of documentation and literature. Literature study is carried out by searching for various written sources, both in the form of books, archives, magazines, articles, and journals, as well as documents that can assist writers in exploring the types of games in the virtual metaverse world that support online learning. The results of this study can be used by educators to create an innovative learning environment, so that it can provide equal learning opportunities for all students.

Abstract

The pH level in pond water has a very important role for the life of the fish in it. Moreover, the pond water functioned as a medium for fish cultivation. Appropriate pH levels have many benefits for fish farming. One of them is to increase fish productivity. This study aims to develop appropriate technology that can be applied to pond water. The result obtained is the creation of appropriate technology in the form of an automatic pH controller based on the Internet of Think (IoT). In simple terms, the workings of the automatic pH controller are that the pH sensor will detect levels of hydronium ion exchange (H+) in pool water so that the sensor can determine the pH level in pool water, then data from the sensor will be received by Arduino and will be processed so that it can be visualized on the display. LCD. The existence of this technology is able to make catfish grow optimally, so that freshwater aquaculture ponds become more productive.

Abstract

The world of education in the 4.0 era is required to apply learning according to technology. One of them is the Mechatronics System Based on Computer Aided Engineering (SMBCAE) in the Mechatronics Expertise Program at SMKN 8 Malang which is required to be able to operate a professional Autodesk inventor to draw digitally. This trains students to solve design problems in a project. This study aims to develop teaching materials as study guides that are varied and contain materials including initial concepts, 2D sketches, 3D models, and assembly of the Autodesk Inventor 2022 application. The development of these teaching materials uses the Borg & Gall development model. The validation, which consisted of one media expert validator and two material expert validators, showed that the module was feasible to develop. In addition, based on the results of product trials conducted on 60 students, the results were 82.5%. Thus it can be categorized that the teaching material is very good and feasible to use
