Abstract

The big role of school principals in supporting the improvement of the quality of education should be reviewed comprehensively and completely based on problems in the school. That since March 16, 2020 the government has called for learning to be carried out online. So, the change so quickly in the way of learning is surprising for both teachers and students, various problems arise. So that the school also began to anticipate participating in finding solutions to anticipate problems that occur in online learning. There are 3 direct policies simultaneously that we must implement in a situation of learning crisis at that time, namely social restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic forcing online learning, independent learning without the UN so that students can assess student competencies in the form of written tests or other more comprehensive forms of assessment, such as portfolios and assignments (group assignments, written papers, etc.), curriculum in special conditions or emergency curriculum, schools can use a curriculum that suits the learning needs of students. This situation is discussed in this paper, the efforts of Public Vocational High School 11 Malang to supervise to improve online learning that was previously completely unprepared. Suddenly, all teachers should do online learning using IT media, repairs can be made quickly and effectively during the pandemic.

Abstract

Upaya pemberian perlindungan kepada tenaga kerja terhadap Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja dan higiene perseorangan, dan biosecurity di peternakan ayam petelor Desa Bangoan yaitu dengan cara memberikan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) dan sosialisasi. Pemberian Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) merupakan upaya terakhir yang dilakukan apabila engeneering (upaya rekayasa) dan cara kerja yang aman telah dilaksanakan. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini yaitu untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat pengetahuan pekerja di peternakan ayam petelor Desa Bangoan mengenai manajemen pengelolaan risiko dan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian desktiptif analitik yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran-gambaran mengenai pentingnya penggunaaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), higiene perseorangan, dan biosecurity. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah sebanyak 76% pekerja menyatakan “Tidak Setuju” bahwa perusahaan telah melakukan sosialisai tentang Penggunaan Alat Pemadam Kebakaran (APAR) dan sebanyak 52% pekerja menyatakan “Sering” mengalami flu. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu pentingnya pemberian perlindungan kepada tenaga kerja seperti pemberian Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di peternakan ayam petelor Desa Bangoan dan pentingnya mengetahui bahaya-bahaya yang ada di lingkungan kerja, sehingga tidak menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja di peternakan ayam petelor Desa Bangoan.

Abstract

Indonesia faces vocational teachers’ shortage both in the quantity and quality. One of Indonesian goverments’ effortsto overcome that problem is holding a Dual Expertise Program (DEP) to produce dual expertise teachers for vocational schools. However, the quality of dual expertise vocational teacher is still questionable. The purpose of this article is to give an idea related to the conceptual model framework for improving the quality of vocational teachers demonstrated by the teachers’ achievements. The authors of this article discuss factors that have an impact on the quality of vocational teachers and describe a framework based on a literature review that might contribute to improving the quality of vocational teachers, especially dual expertise vocational teachers. Based on the results of the article found that to improve the quality of vocational teacher can be improved through increasing self-efficacy and transferable skills, in addition to pay attention to teacher’s initial expertise and teaching experience.

Abstract

This paper presents the competence readiness of the electrical engineering vocational high school teachers in Manado towards ASEAN Economic Community blueprint in 2025. The objective of this study is to get the competencies readiness description of the electrical engineering vocational high school teachers in Manado towards ASEAN Economic Community blueprint in 2025. Method used quantitative and qualitative approach which the statistical analysis in quantitative and the inductive analysis used in qualitative. There were 46 teachers of the electrical engineering vocational high school in Manado observed. The results have shown that the competencies readiness of the electrical engineering vocational high school teachers in Manado such as: pedagogical, professional, personality, and social were 13.04%, 19.56%, 19.56%, and 19.56% respectively. The results were still far from the focus of the ASEAN economic community blueprint in 2025, so they need to be improved through in-house training, internship programs, school partnerships, distance learning, tiered training and special training, short courses in educational institutions, internal coaching by schools, discussion of educational issues, workshops, research and community service, textbook writing, learning media making, and the creation of technology and art.

Abstract

This study was intended to examine whether safety-training, working experience, working position and managerial support influence in the workers' attitudes toward safety priority. The population were low level education workers in East Jawa industries. It was found that safety-training, working experience, working position and managerial support significantly influence in their attitudes toward safety priority. The contribution of all predictors were 47.7 %. Individually, safety training and working experience significantly contribute to the attitudes. While safety training shared 29.4 % and working experience shared 9.4 %, the contribution of working position and managerial supports were not significant.

Abstract

Mutu sekolah kejuruan sangat ditentukan oleh kelengkapan sarana prasarana praktik yang ada dibengkel/laboratorium serta kompetensi guru bidang produktif. Keterampilan mengelola bengkel/laboratorium bagi guru SMK akan berdampak pada kelancaran kegiatan pembelajaran, terhindarnya kecelakaan kerja saat kegiatan praktikum, dan berdampak pada mutu lulusan. Pengabdian Masyarakatn ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengatahuan dan keterampiran para guru SMK di Kabupaten Trenggalek dalam pengelolaan dan pengoperasian bengkel  guna mencegah kecelakaan kerja. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, tanya-jawab, dan demonstrasi. Peserta pelatihan diwajibkan mengikuti pre-test dan pos-test untuk melihat keberhasilan pelaksanaan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan kompetensi manajemen bengkel/laboratorium pendidikan. Kata kunci— kecelakaan kerja, kompetensi guru SMK, manajemen bengkel Abstract The quality of vocational schools is very much determined by the completeness of the existing practical infrastructure in the workshop / laboratory as well as the competence of teachers in productive fields. The skills in managing a workshop / laboratory for vocational teachers will have an impact on the smooth running of learning activities, avoid work accidents during practicum activities, and have an impact on the quality of graduates. This Community Service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of vocational school teachers in Trenggalek Regency in managing and operating workshops to prevent work accidents. The activity methods used include lectures, questions and answers, and demonstrations. Training participants are required to take a pre-test and post-test to see the success of the training implementation. Abstract

AbstrakPengabdian telah dilaksanakan di Desa Pakisaji, Kecamatan Pakisaji Kabupaten Malang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian selama 7 bulan dari bulan April sampai Oktober 201. Waste Treatment Cycle sebagai bentuk pengolahan sampah, baik organik maupun anorganik yang dapat digunakan untuk mendayagunakan barang terbuang dan tidak terpakai sehingga bisa meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat Desa Pakisaji . Metode pengabdian masyarakat dalam Waste Treatment Cycle dilakukan melalui sosialisasi kepada masyarakat sasaran terdiri dari ibu-ibu PKK, remaja karang taruna dan bapak-bapak RW atau RT di Desa Pakisaji. Sosialisasi ini dihadiri oleh masyarakat sasaran dan perangkat Desa Pakisaji. Mekanisme pelaksanaan Waste Treatment Cycle adalah pemilihan kelompok sasaran, survei lokasi dan sasaran, sosialisasi dan pelaksanaan Waste Treatment Cycle, pembinaan dan monitoring serta evaluasi kemajuan program. Dalam kegiatan Waste Treatment Cycle diberikan pre test dan post test dengan sasaran sebanyak 25 responden. Pada uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (p<0,05) sehingga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini tidak terdapat perbedaan (Sig 0,001 < α = 0,05) dengan H0 ditolak sehingga terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan antara pre test (benar/salah) dan post test (benar/salah) setelah diberikan sosialisasi. Kata kunci :Waste Treatment Cycle, Pengolahan sampah, Desa Pakisaji

Abstract

Bengkel/laboratorium  di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan masih sebatas sebagai tempat praktik siswa belum banyak dimanfaatkan oleh para steak holders. Keberadaan bengkel di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sangat penting dalam menunjang kompetensi guru dan siswa yang dapat mempengaruhi  kualitas lulusan. Kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa tidak hanya pada penguasaan teori saja, apalagi pada bidang teknik, tetapi harus di padukan antara teori dan praktik. Oleh karena itu maka peran guru menjadi sangat penting dalam penguasaan pengelolaan bengkel. Pelatihan manajemen bengkel bagi guru mata pelajaran  praktik di SMK Kota Malang diikuti oleh 30 Orang diselenggarakan oleh Tim Dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT UM.Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman manajemen bengkel/laboratorium  bagi para guru SMK di wilayah Kota Malang, diharapkan kegiatan pembelajaran dibengkel/laboratorium dapat berjalan lebih baik dan dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa baik dari dimensi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap untuk menghadapi dunia kerja.Kata kunci: Pelatihan, manajemen bengkel, Mapel Praktik, SMK

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of knowledge, attitude, school support, and facilities Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) to the application of K3. This research is quantitative research. A population of 716 and the sample amounted to 147 by proportional random sampling. Collecting data using tests, questionnaires and observations. Analysis of data using path analysis. The results showed: (1) knowledge of a significant effect on attitudes, (2) knowledge of a significant effect on the implementation of OSH, (3) OSH facilities significantly influence the implementation of OSH, and (4) the attitude significantly influence the implementation of OSH. Suggestion of this research, in order: (1) schools improve policy, funding, and resources, (2) teachers improve the learning process, and (3) students have a sense of responsibility towards the equipment OSH.Key Words: knowledge, attitudes, facilities, implementation of OSHAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh antara pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan sekolah, dan fasilitas Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) terhadap penerapan K3. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi sebanyak 716 dan sampel berjumlah 147 secara proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, quesioner dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pengetahuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap, (2) pengetahuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan K3, (3) fasilitas K3 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan K3, dan (4) sikap berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan K3. Saran penelitian ini, agar: (1) sekolah meningkatkan kebijakan, pendanaan, dan sumberdaya, (2) guru meningkatkan proses pembelajaran, dan (3) siswa memiliki rasa tanggungjawab terhadap peralatan K3.Kata kunci: pengetahuan, sikap, fasilitas, penerapan K3

Abstract

Abstract: The focus of learning in Vocational High Schools needs to be emphasized on the mastery of skills, knowledge, attitudes and values needed by industry. This study aims to describe the industrial class model in the Mitsubishi School Program that has been carried out in Vocational High School. The research method this is a qualitative approach with type of descriptive research, object of research is Private Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 6 Rogojampi on MSP industrial grade automotive engineering expertise program. The results of this study are industrial class model begins planning by collaborating with the school and industry and continued with the collaboration of the preparation of the industrial class curriculum between the VHC curriculum and industrial qualifications. The implementation process is adjusted to the curriculum that has been prepared. The evaluation of the industrial class program is carried out after the process of implementing the industrial class by both parties.Abstrak: Fokus pembelajaran di SMK perlu menekankan penguasaan keterampilan, pengetahuan, sikap, dan nilai-nilai yang dibutuhkan industri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan model kelas industri pada Mitsubishi School Program yang telah dilakukan di SMK. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, objek penelitiannya yaitu SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Rogojampi pada program keahlian teknik otomotif kelas industri Mitsubishi School Program. Hasil penelitian didapatkan model kelas industri diawali perencanaan dengan melakukan kerjasama antara pihak sekolah dengan industri dan dilanjutkan dengan kolaborasi penyusunan kurikulum kelas industri antara kurikulum SMK dan kualifikasi industri. Proses pelaksanaan disesuaikan dengan kurikulum yang telah disusun. Evaluasi program kelas industri dilaksanakan setelah proses pelaksanaan kelas industri oleh kedua belah pihak.
