Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to develop a swimming learning method for early childhood (2) to determine the validity of the method in stimulating basic swimming movements, and (3) to determine the results of the effectiveness of using the method for children. The research of the shallow water method development refers to the Borg n Gall model which is synthesized into six steps according to the research objectives. The data technique used is the result of expert validation and effectiveness testing through experiments with paired t-test statistical data analysis. The results of the development of the shallow water method meet the valid criteria with the results of the expert test of swimming material reaching a validity level of 94%, the result of the expert test of swimming learning 76%, and the practitioner test of 98 %. The field trial of the application of the shallow water method, the results of the pre-test, children got a score of 13.36 and the post-test results got a score of 17. Based on the analysis, the resulting t count is 5.823 and t table is 2.160, meaning that t count > t table. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in children's basic swimming skills before and after using the shallow water method. The advice given in the development of the shallow water method is that in using the method when swimming activities/learning should look at the condition of the child and recognize the characteristics of the child because the child's achievement in mastering the level of one child is different from another.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education is defined as one of the various fields of education starting at the age of 0 (from birth) to the age of 6 years which provides learning activities by taking into account the characteristics of the child. This research aims to produce an effective, efficient and interesting Jump and Crawl game product. This game is focused on stimulating the balance of children aged 5-6 years which is equipped with a guide book. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD) using the ADDIE model. Assessment criteria from the aspect of efficiency, effectiveness and attractiveness. The instrument of quantitative data analysis technique was obtained from the validity of the material and the validity of the game development. The results of accumulated validity from several experts yield a percentage of 90.3% which means it is very feasible to use. The trial used small and large groups with the criteria for assessing effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness. Qualitative data were obtained from interviews with two kindergarten schools in Blitar Regency. Researchers found that the Jump and Crawl game had three eligibility criteria, namely interesting, effective, and efficient to stimulate the balance of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Minuman herbal merupakan minuman kesehatan dengan bahan-bahan alami yang tidak menimbulkan efek samping yang membahayakan ditambah lagi dimasa Pandemi Covid-19 ini yang dianjurkan mengkonsumsi minuman herbal untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh. Konsumsi minuman herbal dipercaya dapat membantu menjaga daya tahan tubuh manusia. Produk yang dihasilkan dari UMKM Melati Losari berupa minuman herbal instan yang cukup terkenal yaitu Jahe Instan dan Kunci Sirih. Permasalahan yang dapat diidentifikasi dalam bidang produksi adalah keterbatasan dalam proses produksi minuman herbal hingga menjadi serbuk atau kristal. UMKM Melati Losari selama ini masih menggunakan peralatan dan cara manual dengan waktu yang cukup lama dalam proses produksi, sehingga tidak dapat maksimal dalam pengolahan produk. Dari kondisi diatas maka pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode berupa observasi, perancangan dan pembuatan mesin, uji peforma mesin, serta pelatihan penggunaan terhadap mitra. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil yaitu terbuatnya satu set mesin kristalisasi serbuk minuman herbal dengan kapasitas 15 kg. Selain itu juga telah dilakukan pelatihan penggunaan alat dan perawatan. Dengan adanya program ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, higienitas, kualitas dan kuantitas produksi Minuman Herbal Instant UMKM Melati Losari dari sebelumnya. Selaim itu dapat juga meningkatkan kuantitas produk dan pemasaran. Kata kunci— Minuman herbal instant, Mesin kristalisasi, Pelatihan alat Abstract Herbal drinks are health drinks with natural ingredients that do not cause harmful side effects, plus during this Covid-19 pandemic, it is recommended to consume herbal drinks to maintain a healthy body. Consumption of herbal drinks is believed to help maintain the human immune system. The products produced by Melati Losari SMEs are in the form of instant herbal drinks which are quite well known, namely Instant Ginger and Key Betel. Problems that can be identified in the field of production are limitations in the production process of herbal drinks to powder or crystals. MSME Melati Losari so far still uses equipment and manual methods for a long time in the production process, so they cannot be maximized in product processing. From the above conditions, this community service uses methods in the form of observation, machine design and manufacture, machine performance testing, and training on the use of partners. Community service that has been carried out has resulted in the creation of a set of herbal drink powder crystallization machine with a capacity of 15 kg. In addition, training on the use of tools and maintenance has also been carried out. With this program, it can improve efficiency, hygiene, quality and quantity of production of Instant Herbal Drinks for MSME Melati Losari from before. Abstract

The development and utilization of ancient manuscript illumination need to be done. One of them is designing cloth motifs or batik motifs. The activity was carried out from August to December 2022 with partners Canting Buana Kreatif Padang Panjang and Dewi Busana Pesisir Selatan. The method used is counseling and training. The activity was carried out in six stages. First, preparations include administration, preparation of implementation schedules, licensing processes, and guidelines from August 19 to September 30, 2022. Second, clustered discussions to produce exotic narratives of batik motif designs on October 3 and 4, 2022. Third, batik production training is attended by batik artisans and prospective artisans and students from October 5 to 14, 2022 at Canting Buana Kreatif and Dewi Busana. Fourth, batik production from October 14 to 26, 2022. Fifth, digital marketing training on October 31 and November 1, 2022, at Andalas University. Sixth, an exhibition of batik products produced by the participants will be held from November 3 to December 4, 2022, at the Minangkabau Corner, Andalas University. This activity involves the participation of partners and students. 10 (ten) Students are actively involved in this activity. The benefits of this activity are expected to be the formation of a community ecosystem that is aware of the utilization of cultural heritage (ancient manuscripts) for the creative industry. This activity aims to develop and utilize the treasures of cultural heritage in the form of ancient manuscript illumination treasures for the enrichment of Minangkabau batik motif designs. This activity concludes that artisans from both batik houses and partner participants can develop and understand the philosophy of the motifs for developing Minangkabau ancient manuscript illumination.

Abstract

Most Minangkabau manuscripts are collections of traditional mosques called "Surau Tarekat" in West Sumatra. Some of them are always crowded with congregations for pilgrimage. One of them is Surau Simaung, Nagari Sijunjung, Sijunjung Regency, and West Sumatra. The development of ancient manuscripts in Surau Simaung's collection can be relevant to present and future life. The development of ancient manuscripts as a source of value is not meant to go backwards but rather to pick up existing ones to be pushed forward as a source of creative economic development. This manuscript, it is hoped that it will support the development of religious pilgrimage tourism in West Sumatra, which has not been appropriately managed and maximally until now. This program was designed to find and explore the potential of Minangkabau manuscripts which can be developed as a creative industry. Implementing community service was training for students studying at Surau Simaung called "Pakiah" to produce unique souvenirs from the manuscripts. Producing text editions of manuscripts containing biographies of Tarekat scholars and their teachings can revive the creative industry, especially the publishing sector and the engineering of Batik motif illumination. In conclusion, Pakiah has the skills in making Batik and screen printing with illuminated motifs of ancient manuscripts in the Surau Simaung collection and can promote them.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pembuatan es krim atau “es puter” yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha kecil selama ini adalah dengan cara memutar tabung secara manual (diputar dengan tangan) selama kurang lebih 1,5 jam. Dengan cara pembuatan seperti ini kurang efisien dan memberatkan pekerja. Tujuan pokok kegiatan ini adalah untuk membuat mesin pemutar es krim yang berisi empat tabung es krim yang mampu bekerja dengan hasil optimal serta mudah cara mengoperasikannya. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah mesin pemutar es krim empat tabung yang dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Produktivitas mesin pemutar adalah empat kali lipat (400%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan alat pemuatar es sebelumnya (manual). Kualitas es krim yang dihasilkan dengan mesin pemutar sama baiknya dengan yang dihasilkan dengan cara manual. Kata kunci: mesin, es krim, produktivitas, efisiensi

Abstract

The infant morbidity rate has become the first indicator to determine the status of children's health, because it is a reflection of the current state of children's health. Statistically, the morbidity and mortality in developing nenonatus is high. The root cause is associated with low birth weight. LBW rate worldwide has reached 14%. Some of the factors that influence the risk of low birth weight include nutritional status, maternal age ( 35 years), parity, spacing pregnancies and chronic diseases too tight. This study was analytical with an unparalleled design case-control study. This study population all the mothers who have children/toddlers in Puskesmas Pelaihari 2015. Samples were taken from purposive sampling with 54 LBW and 54 normal children using secondary data. In general, women with a weight gain of 39 people are at risk of low birth weight (36,1%), pregnant women are at risk of low birth weight amounted to 45 (41,7 %) and anemia pregnant numbered 36 people at risk of low birth weight (33,3%). There is a correlation between the increase of pregnant women weight with LBW (p = 0,000, α = 0,05 and OR = 6,250), there is correlation between the circumference of the upper arm (LLA) pregnant women with LBW (p = 0,000 α = 0,05 and the value of OR = 6,645) and there is correlation between the levels of hemoglobin (Hb) of pregnant women with LBW (p = 0,000, α = 0,05 and OR = 6,192).

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has transformed the global marketing landscape, driving businesses to shift from conventional methods to digital strategies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of marketing strategies through the social media platform WhatsApp Business to increase sales at Fit.Me Hijab. Utilizing a qualitative research method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to evaluate the effectiveness of WhatsApp Business features in supporting marketing activities. The research findings indicate that the use of WhatsApp Business, particularly the product catalog, broadcast messages, and automated responses features, significantly enhances customer interaction and product sales. Prior to using WhatsApp Business, Fit.Me Hijab's sales were around 10 products per month; after adopting the platform, sales increased to 30 products in November and 46 products in December. These findings suggest that WhatsApp Business is an effective marketing tool for SMEs, enabling more personal and efficient interactions with customers. This study provides practical insights for business practitioners to optimize the use of social media as part of their digital marketing strategy.

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah mengubah lanskap ekonomi secara signifikan, membawa ke era yang dikenal sebagai Ekonomi 5.0. Era ini ditandai dengan integrasi teknologi canggih seperti kecerdasan buatan (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), dan blockchain ke dalam kegiatan bisnis, menciptakan efisiensi yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Di tengah transformasi ini, bisnis digital atau e-business telah menjadi pusat perhatian, memungkinkan perusahaan untuk berinteraksi secara lebih efisien dengan pelanggan, pemasok, dan mitra bisnis lainnya. Sementara itu, Industri 5.0 menandai fase transisi dari Industri 4.0, dengan fokus yang lebih besar pada kesejahteraan manusia dan solusi inovatif untuk tantangan global. Dalam menghadapi era ini, penting bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan digital, membangun budaya inovasi, dan memperkuat kemitraan strategis dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal. Abstract

Ekonomi 5.0 telah mengubah paradigma bisnis secara fundamental dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, kecerdasan buatan, dan konektivitas yang semakin meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh bisnis dalam memanfaatkan kekuatan Ekonomi 5.0 untuk transformasi bisnis. Melalui pendekatan studi literatur, penulis mengidentifikasi karakteristik utama Ekonomi 5.0 dan dampaknya terhadap dunia bisnis. Penulis juga menguraikan peluang bisnis yang ditawarkan oleh Ekonomi 5.0, seperti digitalisasi bisnis, kecerdasan buatan, Internet of Things (IoT), dan analisis big data. Namun, kami juga mempertimbangkan tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi bisnis dalam menerapkan teknologi ini, termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang terampil, masalah keamanan dan privasi data, ketergantungan pada teknologi, serta regulasi dan kebijakan. Melalui analisis mendalam ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa sementara Ekonomi 5.0 menawarkan peluang besar bagi transformasi bisnis, menghadapi tantangan tersebut memerlukan strategi yang matang dan kesadaran akan risiko yang terlibat
