Abstract

The Kelurahan of Setokok Island offers various tourist attractions with plenty of supporting facilities. In addition, Setokok Island, which is part of Batam City, has a very strategic position in the Sijori route, which contributes to the many visits by tourists, both local and international. However, all tourist objects on Setokok Island had not been managed properly. In addition, there is no complete information regarding the distribution of these attractions and the facilities they provide that can be accessed directly online. To address the potential and solve the problems, one of the actions that can be implemented to develop the tourism sector is a participatory mapping of tourist attractions and the facilities they provide in a complete, actual, and valid way in the kelurahan of Setokok Island. The results are then published in the form of WebGIS that can be accessed directly online so that more people will know all the tourism potential there. Hopefully, the local tourism sector in Setokok Island will develop and will directly improve the micro economy of the people of Setokok Island.

Abstract

APPLICATIONS OF REMOTE SENSING TECHNOLOGY IN COASTAL AND OCEAN Many remote sensing applications are devoted to the coastal and ocean sector. Representative case studies are presented in the special issue “Advances in Remote Sensing of coastal and ocean”. Remote sensing techniques represent a powerful tool for landslide investigation: applications are traditionally sea surface temperature, marine habitat into three main classes, although this subdivision has some limitations and borders are sometimes fuzzy in coastal and ocean. Remote sensing combined with geographic information system (GIS) can be used as a technology tool to obtain information about the object quickly and accurately, including objects in coastal and ocean areas. Remote sensing data on coastal and marine areas specifically for the region in Indonesia have been widely practiced. The use of remote sensing data and GIS in coastal and marine areas can be used to determine sea surface temperature, determination of fish catchment area, and coastline morphological changes by adding other influential parameters. It can also be used to monitor a regional change by using multi-temporal recording data such as disaster monitoring, monitoring of land cover changes in coastal areas etc. Remote sensing data essentially can be used as an alternative technology in obtaining information at a cheaper cost when compared with the conventional way.

Abstract

Sembulang is located in a strategic maritime location and supports the majority of the local population to work as fishermen. In addition, Sembulang is also directly adjacent to the waters of Mubut Island which is one of the favorite tourist attractions in Batam and also to the waters leading to Bintan and Tanjungpinang, making it a popular port for people in that location. However, until now there has not been an official sea map or cruise line map for traditional fishing boats / local transportation to support economic and tourism activities there. The flow of a cruise is very closely related to the depth of a waters. Water depth data can be used by fishermen and boat captains as a reference when they are sailing across Sembulang Beach. The purpose of this study was to analyze the bathymetry conditions in Sembulang Beach, Galang, which were used as a reference for safe and efficient ship grooves considerations. Bathymetry mapping is done by using multibeam echosounder to create a seafloor topographic map at the research location which is then analyzed based on the depth and width of the cruise line which is ideal for the specifications of traditional fishing vessels. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that only ships with size <5 GT with the form of "V" Pump Boat, "V", "V" High Bow, "V" Katir, "V" Without Katir, "U" Katir and 5 GTs with safe "U" and "V" shapes to be anchored at Sembulang pier. In other words, traditional fishing boats with a size of GT 10 GT are not recommended to dock at the pier.

Abstract

The final result in the creation of 3D animation is the rendering process in which the result of the rendering determines the final result of the created movie. 3D animation will surely pass through the process of rendering which is a very important process commonly used by the world of animated cinema. Each animation uses a different rendering engine depending on rendering using what rendering engine. In this study will generate rendering of rendering time from rendering using mental ray and arnold on 3D animation film "Because of HOAX". In addition, this study will also compare the results of the size per scene of both rendering techniques are mental ray and arnold. The way it works is to run one by one rendering using Autodesk Maya, then compare the render results in the size of each scene, the length of time renders from each render. The results of this test that rendering techniques using arnold is superior in terms of size size per scene, because arnold save the file memory is not too much. While the rendering speed of mental ray faster than the arnold although the time difference is not much different.

Abstract

Globalization is a process of world community order that can cause positive and negative impacts. The city of Batam is one of the cities in Indonesia that experienced the impact of globalization on youth, where the lifestyle of its people especially among young people experience change. Apart from the rapid technological developments and modern lifestyle, hanging out is one of the activities that can have negative impact for both themselves and the surrounding community. Some of the factors that cause young people to do that is the influence of friends and do not want to be obsolete, but now there are some young people who still do positive things such as creating a social community that educational, therefore made an information media in the form of a documentary about community of teachers in Batam City. This documentary contains information about a community of teachers who are young people who can use their spare time to provide knowledge and fun to children aged 4 - 15 years. This documentary film aims to change the mindset and behavior of young people in order to take advantage of time with positive activities. This film is expository type using data collection method. The methods include observation, interview and film design consisting of pre production, production and post production. The results of the study prove that documentary film Expository Type can be in the form of media that convey factual information through narratives and images, based on a total percentage of 83.32% that documentary types of Expository Type can function as a medium for delivering messages and factual information for the community, especially young people in the city of Batam.

Abstract

The basic mapping framework is divided into two types: the horizontal framework (planimetric) and the vertical framework (height). The basic horizontal framework of mapping varies depending on the selection and usability policy determined by many factors, which as the area, tools availability, and the calculation method. The geodesy field's commonly used basic mapping frameworks are triangulation and polygon methods. A least-squares calculation method or a least-squares triangulation adjustment can be used to obtain the precise map frame coordinate value from the triangulation method measurement results. On the other hand, the polygon method uses Bowditch to solve the problem. The least-squares method (adjustment) is well known as the three methods. There are parameters, conditions, and combinations. The least-squares method of triangulation (triangulated quadrilateral adjustment) can use the conditions or measurements equation either azimuth or angle measurement. The procedure of this equation involves parameter adjustment, where these parameters are the coordinates on a flat surface. This study compares the coordinate result of the enclosed polygon mapping framework between the Bowditch method and the Adjustment Triangulated Quadrilateral method. The coordinates result of the calculations using the Bowditch method provides value better than the adjustment method, where the confidence interval of the standard deviation of the coordinates using this method is around 0.400954085 ft minimum and 1.020967284 ft maximum in the 90% of a confidential level, in the other hand, the adjustment method ranges between 1.112780078 ft minimum and 2.833521575 ft maximum.

Abstract

Salah satu bidang pemanfaatan fotogrametri adalah fotogrametri jarak dekat. Fotogrametri jarak dekat dapat digunakan untuk keperluan merekam objek yang berada di bawah 100 meter. Fotogrametri close-up umumnya digunakan dalam demonstrasi 3D dari struktur, kendaraan atau ekstensi. Fotogrametri jarak dekat digunakan untuk menampilkan 3D Kawasan Pesisir Sembulang Kota Batam. Kamera yang digunakan harus melalui interaksi penyelarasan untuk menentukan batas bagian dalam kamera. Siklus penyesuaian dan penanganan informasi pada tugas terakhir ini menggunakan program Agisoft Metashape Professional v. 1.7.6 build 13524. Tahap menampilkan struktur terdiri dari stamping dan mengacu, mengerjakan dan membuat model 3D, mengubah susunan 3D dan menggambar model 3D.

The coastline is the boundary between land and sea areas, which influences the dynamics of coastal areas. Coastal areas are basically rich in natural resources, have many attractions, so they need to be managed by both the local community and the government to improve the local economy. The aimed of this research is to identify problems and potential coastal environmental resources. The study location is on the coast of Tanjung Riau, Batam City which has coastal resource potential that can be managed and developed to meet the needs of the surrounding community. The method used is observation and utilization of aerial photo data on parts of the Tanjung Riau coast which are then mapped and analyzed further to manage coastal environmental resources. The results obtained show that the Tanjung Riau coastal area has several problems such as waste, damaged ecosystems and organisms, while coastal potential includes fisheries, availability of piers and beach tourism.

Abstract

The city of Batam as a tourist destination can be supported by regional development including the Sembulang sub-district area through the making of RT and RW area maps in Sembulang Sub-District/Village. This large-scale RT and RW map has a role as an official document that records administrative boundaries. Other spatial information in this map will later be needed in the development of the Kelurahan/Village to prepare spatial plans and inventory of village potential. In addition, these regional boundaries function to create administrative order, legal certainty so that it is expected to minimize boundary conflicts, regional fiscal calculations and identification of regional potential (Afdhalia et al., 2021; Lestari et al., 2020; Kemendagri. 2016; Budisusanto et al., 2014 ). The cartometric method can be used in determining and confirming Kelurahan/Village Boundaries in accordance with Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) regulations No.15 of 2019. So this year the community service team proposed kartometric Mapping of RT and RW Boundaries in Sembulang Village. In this service, a delineation of the RT and RW maps of Sembulang Village will be carried out. Determination of Boundaries through participatory mapping and FGD, and handing over the resulting products in the form of RT and RW Maps of Sembulang Village. The map of the boundaries of the RT RW Sembulang area was made with A3 paper size which was submitted to the Sembulang sub-district. This map contains information about the boundaries of the RT&RW areas in Sembulang Village as an information need for residents in Sembulang Village. Based on the results of these measurements, there were several changes to the rough map previously provided by the Sembulang Village, namely the expansion of one RT, which was originally 1 RT. From the results of this dedication, a map of the boundaries of the area was submitted to the Sembulang Village in print format.

Abstract

The rapid development of large-scale infrastructure in Indonesia indicates the need for solutions for fast crack applications with accurate results using methods that are efficient in terms of time and data generated. One example of the development of mapping technology in this modern era is aerial photography not only using manned aircraft, but you can also use an unmanned aerial vehicle or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). This unmanned aircraft is better known as a drone, which is currently at an affordable price, easy to get and has the ability to shoot like a manned aircraft. Measurements were made using photogrammetric techniques from aerial photographs produced by drones. With results that have high accuracy, and can be done in the shortest possible time, then the use of drones in making topographic maps will be more widely used in the future. In our study and research survey that we conducted in the form of PBL (Project Based Learning) Politeknik Negeri Batam students in community service in the soaking village, Tanjung Riau, Batam Island, namely for making aerial photo maps using the DJI Phantom 4 RTK drone which we carried out in the village soak.
