Abstract

There are the absence of teaching materials in accordance with the characteristics and conditions of a hearing impairment children in terms of learning, especially science subjects. The characteristics of hearing impairment children is poor in their vocabularies, so that, the teaching materials emphasizing the visual aspect is necessary. This study used a Research and Development (R & D) adapted by the Sugiyono model in order to produce teaching materials in the form of pictorial modules and to test their effectiveness. The result of the research showed that it was a very valid criteria with a score of 97% of the materials experts, 85% of media experts, and 93% of skilled practitioners. The score of the effectiveness of the modules was 75% with the effective criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know in detail The Relation of Parents Education Degree, Learn Guidance, and Intelligence Quotient Level, Level with Self-Help Ability, Mental Retardation Students in SDLB Pembina MalangThis study uses associative survey method, The sampling method used was total sampling by taking 31 students as a sample of the all population. The data collection was by questionnaire and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques used correlation of Chi-squareanalysis is to describe the degree of relationship between independent and dependent variables. The results of this research showed that there were: (1) no significant relationship between parents education degree and self-helf ability variable. (2) there was no significant relationship between learning guidance and self-helf ability variable. (3) there is a significant relationship between a variable intelligence quotient level with self-help ability. Advice for parents’ is to increase continually theirs role in guiding children by increasing knowledge and understanding about the appropriate self-help ability.Tujuan penelitian ini secara rinci adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan orang tua, bimbingan belajar, dan tingkat kecerdasan (IQ) dengan kemampuan bina diri bagi siswa tunagrahita di SDLB Pembina Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey assosiatif, dimana untuk mengetahui hubungan atara variabel-variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh wali murid siswa tunagrahita kelas I-III SDLB Pembina Malang.. Teknik analisis data menggunakananalisis korelasi Chi-square untuk menjelaskan derajat hubungan antara variabel bebas dengan variable  terikat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variable tingkat pendidikan orang tua dengan kemampuan bina diri; 2) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel bimbingan belajar dengan kemampuan bina diri; 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel tingkat kecerdasan (IQ) dengan kemampuan bina diri. Saran untuk orang tua siswa senantiasa meningkatkan perannya dalam membimbing anak dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang cara kemampuan bina diri secara tepat.

Abstract

Salah satu perguruan tinggi yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan inklusif adalah UniversitasBrawijaya. Perwujudan lingkungan inklusif dilakukan dengan memberi layanan pendampingan olehPusat Studi dan Layanan Disabilitas (PSLD) bagi mahasiswa difabel. Pendampingan bagi mahasiswadifabel membantu para penyandang difabel memperoleh akses belajar ke perguruan tinggi. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian adalahkualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa(1) pelaksanaan pendampigan mahasiswa difabel sudah sesuai dengan jenis hambatan, karakteristikdan kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa difabel; (2) layanan pendampingan masih belum bisa mengatasiketergantungan mahasiswa difabel terhadap pendamping.One of the universities that conducts inclusive education is Brawijaya University. Therealization of an inclusive environment is carried out by providing mentoring services by the Centerfor Disability Studies and Services for students with disabilities. Facilitation activities for studentswith disabilities help people with disabilities get access to study to college. Techniques of collectingdata using interviews, observation and documentation. This research method is qualitative by usingdescriptive approach. Based on the research, it is found that: (1) the implementation of facilitation ofdisabled students is in accordance with the type of barriers, characteristics and needs of students withdisabilities; (2) mentoring services still can’t overcome the dependence of students with disabilities tothe companion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi tersedianya peralatan fotografi, tetapi kurang adanya mediapembelajaran yang digunakan siswa tunarungu dalam memahami fotografi. Pengembangan ini bertujuanuntuk menghasilkan produk yang diuji kelayakannya, dan menghasilkan produk yang efektif dalammembantu pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Langkah-langkah pengembangan mengadaptasi model Lee& Owens terdiri dari 5 tahap. Subyek uji coba produk adalah 4 siswa tunarungu tingkat SMALB. Hasilpenilaian ahli materi memperoleh presentase 82,5% (sangat layak), ahli mediamemperoleh presentase95% (sangat layak),hasil uji coba kelompok mendapat presentase 100%. Dari hasil analisis data, produkyang dikembangkan dalam kategori sangat layak dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Background the research of this is the availability of equipment photography, but the mediumof learning that used students with hearing impaired in the understanding of photography is very less. Thedevelopment is intended to produce a product which has been tested for its adequate and to produce aneffective product to help learning objectives achievement. Step-by-step development of adapted modelof Lee& Owens consists of 5 stages. Subject of trial the product is 4 students hearing impaired levelSMALB. The validation result of material expert obtained 82.5% (very appropriate), the result of mediaexpert obtained 95% (very appropriate), while the result of group trial obtained 100%. From the resultsof the analysis of the data, the products that are developed in the category of very appropriate and can beused in the process of learning.

Abstract

Ketidakberfungsian organ pendengaran pada tunarungu mengakibatkan terhambatnya perkembangan bahasa dan bicara sehingga pada anak tunarungu mengalami hambatan dalam memperoleh informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan memahami isi bacaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment berupa metode sosiodrama pada siswa tunarungu kelas VII di SMPLB Bhakti Wanita Lumajang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan rata-rata pada tahap pre test sebesar 42,5, sedangkan perolehan rata-rata pada tahap post test meningkat sebesar 79,5 setelah dilakukan intervensi.

Abstract

Kurangnya ketrampilan motorik merupakan salah satu hambatan yang dimiliki oleh siswa down syndrome. Untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan motorik dapat dilakukan dengan senam ceria. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan video senam ceria terhadap ketrampilan motorik kasar siswa down syndrome. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan Arief S. Sadiman (2010). Terdapat 3 subjek validasi yaitu, (1) validasi ahli media yang menunjukkan presentase 94%, (2) validasi ahli pembelajaran ABK yang memperoleh presentase 92%, dan (3) ahli materi yang memperoleh presensate 87%. Subjek uji coba dilakukan kepada 4 siswa down syndrome dengan diperoleh rata-rata ketuntasan adalah 100%. Artinya adalah video senam ceria sangat layak dan sangat efektif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan motorik kasar siswa down syndrome. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi baru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran dan peningkatan ketrampilan motorik kasar.The lack of motor skills is one of the student’s obstacles with Down syndrome. To improve motor skills can be with “Senam Ceria”. To know utilization of “Senam Ceria” video about gross motor skills of students with Down syndrome is the purpose of this research and development using Arief S. Sadiman (2010) development model. There are 3 validation subjects are, (1) media expert showed the precentage of 94%, (2) ABK learning expert was obtaine of 92% and (3) a percentage of 87% was obtained from material expert. Subject trials conducted to 4 students with Down syndrome was obtaine an average achievement of 100%. It means “Senam Ceria” video is very valid and effective as a learning media to improve gross motor skills of students with Down syndrome. It is expected that the results of this study can be a new reference in the development of learning media and improvement of crude motor skills.

Abstract

: Siswa tunagrahita memerlukan pembelajaran khusus yang dapat membantu dalam menyimak cerita yaitu dengan permainan wayang kartun. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan wayang kartun terhadap kemampuan menyimak cerita bagi siswa tunagrahita. Kajian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Pre experimental design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek kajian ini adalah 5 siswa tungrahita kelas V. Pengumpulan data dengan memberikan pretest, treatment dan post test. Analisis data menggunakan uji jenjang – bertanda Wilcoxon. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai Thitung (15) > Ttabel (1),maka Ho ditolak. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat pengaruh permainan wayang kartun terhadap kemampuan menyimak cerita pada siswa tunagrahita.Student with intellectual disability requires specialized learning that can assist in listening to the story that is with cartoon puppet game. The aim of this study was to the abilty of the effects of cartoon puppet game towards the ability of story listening for students with intellectual disabilities. This study was Pre experimental design form one group pretest-posttest design.The subjects were 5 students with Intellectual Disabilities in the Class V. Collecting data was giving pretest, treatment and post test. Data analysis was wilcoxon’s signed rank test. Hypothesis test results showed that the value of Tcount(15)> Ttable(1),then Ho rejected. Conclusions in study indicate that there are the effects of cartoon puppet game towards the ability of story listening for students with intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

This is a study on the correlation between the four variables of cognitive styles, learning habits, achievement motivation, and locus of control and students’ achievement in mathematics, physics, Indonesian, English, economics, and geography. The data were collected through tests and documentation. The results indicated that there were positive correlations between cognitive styles, learning habits, achievement motivation, and locus of control and the students’ achievement. There were also significant correlations among these predictor variables: (1) between cognitive styles and learning habits and (2) between achievement motivation and locus of control. The path analysis indicated that the four predictable variables had effects on the students’ achievement.

Abstract

The study aimed at finding out the relationship between cognitive styles, learning motivation, and locus of control and students’ achievement in Mathematics, Physics, Indonesian, English, Economics, and Geography. The subjects of the study were students of public senior high schools in Malang. The data were in forms of scores of tests on cognitive styles, responses about learning motivation and about locus of control, and scores of summative tests. Correlation and multiple regression were employed to analyze the data. The study found out that there was a positive and significant correlation between cognitive styles and achievement, between learning motivation and achievement (but not in Physics, English, and Geography), and between locus of control and achievement. The cognitive-style variable has an effective contributing power in predicting achievement level.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of this learning package aims to produce inquiry-based teaching materials, teacher guides, and appropriate student guides, and to determine their effectiveness in learning. Development of this learning package using the development model of learning package is tested in SMK-PP Negeri Banjarbaru on Biology-based learning inquiry in class X second semester. The validation of the product is done by three experts namely media experts, design experts, and material experts. The result of the research was obtained by the appropriate and effective learning package used in the learning.Abstrak: Pengembangan paket pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri, panduan guru berbasis inkuiri, dan panduan siswa berbasis inkuiri yang layak (valid), serta untuk mengetahui keefektifannya ketika digunakan pada pembelajaran. Pengembangan paket pembelajaran ini menggunakan model pengembangan. Paket pembelajaran diujikan di SMK-PP Negeri Banjarbaru pada pembelajaran Biologi berbasis inkuiri di kelas X semester II. Produk divalidasi oleh tiga ahli yaitu media, desain, dan isi materi. Produk hasil penelitian berupa paket pembelajaran yang memenuhi kriteria layak dan efektif.
