Abstract

Underwater image of water quality in the dark, it depends on the depth of water at the time of image acquisition or image. The results of the image quality is adversely affecting the results matching the image pairs underwater with SIFT algorithm. This research aims to use the method of image preprocessing and Histogram Equalization Gamma Correction that works to improve the quality of images underwater. The results showed 27.76% increase using image preprocessing Gamma Correction and Histogram Equalization compared with no increase in image quality. Results of paired t-test has the null hypothesis is rejected so that there is a significant difference between the application of Gamma Correction Histogram Equalization with and without image enhancement.

Abstract

University Semarang (USM) is now 26 years old (founded in 1987). It stands to USM achievement, both national and international. Although at the regional level in Central Java USM has become the leading private universities, but at the national level has not been fully encouraging, let alone the world level.Academically, USM is not yet in a world university ranking methods, such as: Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), The Times Higher Education Supplement (THES) and Webometrics. Only in Webometric lah, world university ranking USM entered electronically although not entirely encouraging. Apparently, we need to work harder in order to reach World Class University category.

Abstract

The technical improvements of the present era necessitate that everyone understand information and communication technology. The influence can be useful in a range of industries, especially in the workplace. The office management system is a sort of administrative activity aimed at increasing management effectiveness. As a result, data management at PT. Dwimatama Multikarsa Semarang continues to be done manually, particularly in the production department, with data being input into Microsoft Excel software and stored on hard drives or flash drives. In this case, it is ineffective, especially if the data has been lost or corrupted. The author has come up with the idea of computerizing the administration and archiving system in light of the limitations that have been stated. The author uses a sequential searching approach to do a data search. This method will allow users to find information more quickly and effectively. The system was built using the Laravel framework and the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language. The study's conclusion is a web-based data management and storage system that uses MySQL databases. Employees can benefit from this technology by being able to handle and save information more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology in learning has functioned as a tool in the teaching and learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The need for the availability of a learning platform using LMS (Learning Management System) or free e-learning that is easily obtained from the public network (internet) makes the utilization of the learning platform indispensable for the teaching and learning process. Learning platforms available on the internet can also be used independently by students. However, not all existing learning platforms can be used as the appropriate means to improve the quality of education. The educator policies are needed to utilize the existing learning platforms so that learning objectives can be achieved. This study will analyze how to choose the right learning platform for an educational institution using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting)-based Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) method. FMADM is a method used to find the optimal alternative from a number of alternatives with certain criteria. The purpose of this study is to assist educators in deciding the most appropriate learning platform that can be used to support the teaching and learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Masalah penjadwalan dalam pendidikan merupakan persoalan khusus dari masalah optimasi yang ditemukan pada situasi nyata karena masalah ini membutuhkan waktu komputasi yang cukup tinggi untuk pencarian solusinya. Di Universitas Semarang khususnya bagi Jurusan Teknologi Informasi, masih terdapat beberapa kendala pada proses penjadwalan praktikum karena untuk pembuatan jadwalnya masih menggunakan pengolahan data dengan Microsoft Excel. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sistem penjadwalan praktikum yang dapat menghasilkan jadwal praktikum secara otomatis. Pada penelitian ini memberikan solusi untuk permasalahan yang ada di jurusan Teknologi Informasi yaitu membuat sistem penjadwalan kegiatan praktikum. Algoritma yang digunakan untuk membuat penjadwalan otomatis menggunakan algoritma genetika. Algoritma ini dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimasi rumit seperti penjadwalan. Dengan adanya penerapan sistem penjadwalan kegiatan praktikum, penyusunan jadwal kegiatan praktikum dapat dilakukan lebih cepat dan efisienThe scheduling problem in education is a special problem of optimization problems found in real situations because this problem requires high computational time to find a solution. At the University of Semarang, especially for the Department of Information Technology, there are still some obstacles in the practicum scheduling process because the schedule still uses data processing with Microsoft Excel. Therefore, a practicum scheduling system needs that can generate a practicum schedule automatically. This study provides a solution to the problems that exist in the Information Technology department, namely making a scheduling system for practicum activities. The algorithm used to make automatic scheduling uses a genetic algorithm. This algorithm can solve complex optimization problems such as scheduling. With the implementation of the practicum activity scheduling system, the preparation of the practicum schedule can be done more quickly and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to decrypt and analyze whether grammatical understanding affects the writing ability of Semarang University’s students thesis and how it affects. This type of research is quantitative research with the type of research is inference used to test hypotheses to determine the influence of grammatical understanding on the ability to write thesis. The sample of this study was students who were preparing the thesis of four courses that were taken randomly. Sampling techniques using probability sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation using structured questionnaires. Quantitative data of questionnaire results tested with F-test. While qualitative data from thesis text analysis is analyzed descriptively. The result is that between right and wrong in 10 criteria of grammatically, that is 57.43% true and 42.57% wrong. Based on the F-test results obtained results that the regression coefficient of 0.672 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the effectiveness of sentences has a positive and significant influence on grammatical understanding in writing thesis. This influence supports the analysis of thesis documents with the findings of 636 sentences from the thesis author. Of the 636 sentences found 429 sentences were grammatical and 207 sentences were not grammatical. The ungrammatically of the sentence is caused by several things, namely sentences without a subject, without predicates, without predicates and predicates, double-substitutes, double predicates, objects preceded by forejectives, substitutes and double-predicates, repeating subjects, without objects, not using the conjunction ”bahwa”, and inaccuracies in the use of hyphens ”then”.

Abstract

Teknologi komunikasi dengan menggunakan Telegram Bot merupakan perangkat lunak komunikasi yang dapat dikirimkan melalui internet. Karena fitur yang dihadirkan inilah banyak sektor industri yang mulai menerapkan teknologi bot ini ke perangkat IoT mereka. Dengan adanya bot ini, industri dapat melakukan pemantauan, sekaligus memberikan perintah ke perangkat untuk menjalankan fungsi yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas produksi mereka. Namun teknologi bot ini memiliki kendala berupa pemahaman mengenai perangkat Internet of Things dan bahasa pemrograman yang sesuai dengan perangkat tersebut. Oleh karena itu banyak dari dunia industri yang memerlukan tenaga ahli yang memahami betul perangkat Internet of Things beserta bagaimana cara membuat bot untuk perangkat tersebut. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan industri yang ahli dalam hal ini, SMK Walisongo perlu melakukan adaptasi terhadap kurikulumnya agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan ini. Oleh karena itulah Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk melakukan pelatihan mengenai konfigurasi Telegram Bot sehingga para guru SMK dapat mengajarkannya kembali ke para siswa TKJ. Dari pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, para peserta mengalami peningkatan mencapai 26,17% berdasarkan tiga kategori evaluasi mengenai pemahaman konseptual, konfigurasi, dan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

 The selection of suppliers is important in sales, especially in the building sector. A good supplier has an impact on the smooth circulation of finances, quality, prices, and availability of goods, even on expenses. The difficulty in determining the supplier for purchasing goods is caused by the difficulty of choosing alternatives because the criteria considered are so many, which has an impact on the results of the analysis obtained will be less objective. The decision support system used to determine the best supplier uses the ELECTRE (ELimination Et Choix TRaduisant la realitE) method which has advantages in qualitative and quantitative features, as well as a high level of accuracy. The results obtained in this system are able to compare alternatives and criteria and get the right data by saving time computerized depending on the policies of the building shop and the existing system can be used for the selection of suppliers for purchasing goods .Keyword: electre, decision support system, suppliersPemilihan supplier merupakan hal yang penting dalam penjualan khususnya di bidang bangunan. Supplier yang baik berdampak untuk pelancaran sirkulasi keuangan, kualitas, harga, dan ketersediaan barang, bahkan pada pengeluaran. Adapun kesulitan pada penentuan supplier pembelian barang ini disebabkan oleh kesulitan untuk memilih alternatif karena kriteria yang dipertimbangkan begitu banyak, yang berdampak pada hasil analisa yang didapatkan akan menjadi kurang objektif. Sistem pendukung keputusan yang digunakan untuk menentukan supplier terbaik menggunakan metode ELECTRE (ELimination Et Choix TRaduisant la realitE) yang memiliki keunggulan pada fitur kualitatif dan kuantitatif, serta tingkat akurasinya yang tinggi. Hasil yang didapatkan pada sistem ini mampu membandingkat alternatif dan kriteria dan mendapatkan data yang tepat dengan menghemat waktu secara komputerisasi bergantung pada kebijakan pada toko bangunan dan sistem yang ada bisa digunakan untuk  pemilihan supplier pembelian barang. Kata kunci: electre, sistem pendukung keputusan, supplier

The monitoring system is an important system for every agency that trades and rents an item, often this monitoring activity determines whether the agency is running or not, because by monitoring, agency managers can find out how fast or slow the sale of an item is. With this system, stores or companies can process data more accurately. This monitoring system is excellent because in addition to the many benefits, the system can change the company for the better because of the results obtained from this system. The system at IUS is considered ineffective because the monitoring of data on goods and daily transactions along with reports is still done in writing by recording using books and paper, so this system is not efficient in saving time, energy and materials. With the problem in the system, a web-based monitoring system was created using CodeIgniter 3. In system development, the approach method used was a structured approach method using the RAD development method or Rapid Application Development, where the data collection techniques used were based on field observations and Interview result. Abstract

Community complaints about village government are still manual in nature, namely that the community has to report to the RT first, then the RT reports to village officials verbally, making work inefficient. With the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, public complaints can be made using the public complaints system (SIPMAS). The use of a public complaints system makes the complaint process more practical, easier, and faster. In creating a community complaints system in Logung Village, was built using the Laravel framework. The system development methods used are Rapid Application Development (RAD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) for diagram design. It is hoped that the aim of creating this program is to help village officials manage complaint data online.
