Abstract

Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) is vital in fostering student character aligned with Pancasila values and promoting global citizenship awareness. This study examines the role of PPKn in addressing educational challenges in globalization and character development. A literature study approach was adopted, analyzing diverse sources, including scientific journals, books, and articles, to gain insights into the implementation of PPKn in education. Findings reveal that PPKn significantly shapes student character through Pancasila principles, such as mutual cooperation, social justice, and respect for diversity. Furthermore, PPKn enhances students' global awareness on issues like human rights, cultural diversity, and social responsibility. As a compulsory subject at all educational levels, PPKn integrates global values into its curriculum to prepare students for challenges like climate change, social inequality, and cultural conflict. By adopting innovative learning methods, PPKn cultivates a generation with integrity, strong character, and the capability to contribute at an international level. The integration of local and global perspectives in PPKn supports the creation of a national identity that is adaptive to modern demands. PPKn plays a pivotal role in character education and global readiness, ensuring students are equipped to address contemporary issues and contribute positively to society. This reinforces the development of a nation's character, responsive to the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

Empowerment is an essential strategy for fostering ecological citizenship. One of the strategies implemented is empowerment to manage and reduce waste accumulation. This research aims to identify strategies to enhance the value of ecological citizenship in waste bank management. This research employs a literature review, conducted by searching various electronic databases to identify literature relevant to the discussion to be presented. The results obtained from this research are as follows: 1) Several approaches are taken to empower waste bank management, known as 5P, including enabling, strengthening, protecting, supporting, and maintaining. 2) The strategy to strengthen ecological citizenship through the Gold Kitiran waste bank community in sustainable waste management is carried out in four stages: environmental knowledge, skills, attitudes, and participation. 3) Obstacles in implementing strategies to strengthen ecological citizenship through waste bank communities in sustainable waste management are divided into internal and external obstacles. These results indicate that community empowerment within waste banks can improve ecological welfare.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan yang terus berubah, penanaman nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Pancasila menjadi sangat esensial untuk membangun karakter generasi Alpha yang aktif, kritis, dan bertanggung jawab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana relevansi integrasi nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Pancasila sebagai upaya untuk menghasilkan warga negara yang baik. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisis literatur dari jurnal akademik yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir (2019-2024). Teknik analisis data yang diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini mencakup analisis konten untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema kunci yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, serta analisis naratif untuk memahami pengalaman dan pandangan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang demokratis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, siswa berperan aktif dalam proses yang demokratis, yang mendukung mereka untuk mengembangkan kesadaran sosial, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan sikap toleran terhadap perbedaan. Dengan demikian, pengajaran Pendidikan Pancasila tidak hanya tertuju pada aspek pengetahuan, namun juga pada sikap dan keterampilan, untuk membentuk generasi yang paham dan menerapkan nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam Pendidikan Pancasila merupakan langkah krusial untuk membangun masyarakat yang lebih adil dan inklusif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a description of the results of observations on the children of Malaysian migrant workers, especially about the enthusiasm or enthusiasm for learning children not only learning about understanding social sciences but one of them is learning religious science through religious science lessons and forms of application in the form of daily prayers, prayer readings, recitations and da'wah practices in the form of lectures. This material not only conveys the knowledge but also in practice and application as well as the way of delivery and good and correct lecture techniques, besides that also with lectures children can learn public speaking, speaking in public with good and directed conduct. Indonesia's children are future leaders and future generations of the Indonesia nation for the next 10 years, therefore the position of the young generation of Indonesia's children is very much needed. The enthusiasm for learning children in the Sungai Buloh area of Selangor has a very extraordinary spirit of learning. Most of the residents of the community in the Sungai Buloh Selangor area are Indonesia citizens who have lived in Malaysia, so there are quite a lot of children aged 7-13 years who are in elementary school. The Sungai Buloh Learning Studio is one of the main avenues for children of migrant workers to learn social and religious sciences, most of the people in the Sungai Buloh area of Selangor lack access to education due to their incomplete documents so that it is difficult for children to continue to public schools in Kuala Lumpur, this is one of the things that is worrisome because of the lack of access to education for the children of Indonesia migrant workers who are domiciled in the Sungai Buloh region of Selangor, Malaysia. With the enthusiasm of good children to learn but hindered by their incomplete documents, access to education for migrant workers living in the Sungai Buloh Selanggor area, Malaysia is quite difficult.
