Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah komoditas cabai merah keriting di desa Klegenwonosari pada musim panen tidak sebanding dengan harga jualnya yang murah, sebaliknya pada saat komoditas tersebut langka harga jualnya sangat mahal. Sehingga perlu dilakukan inovasi terkait olahan pada cabai tersebut, tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Setia Asih yaitu edukasi metode pengemasan yang higienis pada sambal olahan yang dikemas pada botol plastik PET dengan tambahan alumunium foil dan label segel. Pembekalan yang diberikan dalam bentuk teori terkait teknologi pengemasan dan praktek penggunaan mesin induction sealer serta mesin heat gun. Secara teori, peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 82% berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Tingkat keberhasilan peserta pada praktek proses penginduksian menggunakan mesin induction sealer sebesar 85% pada percobaan pertama dan peningkatan sebesar 100% pada percobaan kedua, sedangkan tingkat keberhasilan praktek proses penyegelan menggunakan mesin hot gun sebesar 77% pada percobaan pertama dan peningkatan sebesar 93% pada percobaan kedua. Pengabdian selanjutnya akan dibahas proses pengawetan dan pemasaran pada produk sambal olahan tersebut, sehingga produk yang dihasilkan memiliki umur simpan yang lebih lama dan dapat dipasarkan secara luas baik secara daring maupun luring.

Abstract

Sambal is one of the favorite foods as an accompaniment to meals for Indonesian people, not only parents but the millennial generation and Generation Z also like chili food. The aim of this research is to design ergonomic chili packaging for the millennial generation and Generation Z. The method used in this research uses the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method by considering consumer aspects. The research results show that the first priority for improvement is redesigning the label on the product. The second priority is providing a seal (aluminum foil) on the packaging to ensure the hygiene and durability of the chili sauce. The third priority is that the chili bottle uses a thicker plastic material to make it sturdy. The fourth priority is changing the chili brand design by adding a chili logo to make it more attractive and bold in describing the product. The fifth priority is to make the chili packaging bottles more oval so that the shape is more ergonomic and easier to hold. The sixth priority is to add a small spoon to every product purchased because usually this packaged chili sauce is used for food outside the home. The seventh priority is increasing the capacity of chili sauce, which previously weighed 100 grams to 150 grams. Keywords: Generation Z, Millennial Generation, QFD, Sambal Packaging

Abstract

Membaca merupakan kemampuan dasar yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa yang masih rendah dengan memberikan pendampingan kelas literasi dasar di Sanggar Bimbingan Hulu Langat melalui Media Kotak Kata. Metode pendampingan kelas literasi dasar ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) Tahap awal dilakukan pengamatan terhadap kondisi lingkungan, tingkat kemampuan membaca siswa dan karakteristik siswa. (2) Tahap persiapan meminta persetujuan dari guru dan pengelola SB, menentukan waktu dan tempat, serta menyiapkan media (3) Tahap pelaksanaan, melakukan kegiatan pendampingan dengan menggunakan media kotak kata dan membagi siswa dalam kelompok sesuai tingkat kemampuan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN-Dik dan dilaksanakan dua hari dalam seminggu. Pesertanya adalah siswa yang kemampuan membacanya masih rendah. Pendampingan kelas literasi dasar dinilai berhasil dengan adanya respon positif, semangat dan keseriusan dari siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini. Para guru dan pengelola sanggar bimbingan sangat mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan ini sehingga dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan hasilnya sudah nampak ada kemajuan dari siswa. Berdasarkan hal itu, perlu adanya pendampingan literasi dasar membaca secara berkesinambungan sebagai upaya menumbuhkan minat baca dan membantu permasalahan membaca siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate use of finger protection PPE in process of sorting plastic glass at SiHatin Waste Bank. The waste sorting process with high risk is the process of cutting plastic cup ring. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach, interviews, and observations to identify problems and find solutions to improve comfort and safety. PPE used for three months was proven to increase safety officers by 80.95%. However, there is discomfort experienced by 18 out of 20 officers due to several factors, namely: precision movements difficulty by 90%, sweat on fingers by 60%, inappropriate size by 45% and skin irritation by 35%. The proposed solutions include using more comfortable materials and ergonomic, setting break times, and training use of PPE to increase its effectiveness. In addition, development of cutting ring tool was developed to reduce the risk of injury and increase worker productivity.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a marketing strategy for Fauzi UMKM bolen cakes so that the company can survive and develop using a Marketing Mix and SWOT analysis. Using optimal marketing strategies is the right step to achieve this goal. SWOT analysis is used to analyze a company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats so that the company's position can be determined using IFAS and EFAS analysis. The results of this research show that the IFAS matrix has a score of 0.15, and the EFAS has a score of 0.44. At these coordinates, the company's position is in quadrant I. The appropriate marketing strategy is to use an S-O strategy (strengths and opportunities) where the company uses an aggressive strategy in its marketing. Based on the company's position, the appropriate marketing strategy is to increase production and add flavor variants, maintain prices and provide purchase bonuses, open the official stores, and open branches, and utilize existing social media such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube.

Abstract

The problem faced by early childhood teachers is that there are still some children whose mathematical logic intelligence un-optimally developed. This happens because in the learning process they are rarely using a game as the learning media to stimulate mathematical logic intelligence. This study aims not only to identify the information of what are children's games stimulating intelligence and mathematical logic in early childhood but also to determine the types of games and performance validation tests.The research method is using Kansei Engineering type first. Begin with the determinate of the domain to make specifications for the game that will be researched and designed. Determining the Kansei words through a questionnaire then sorted by using differential semantics. The results are implementing in the form of a game. Furthermore, homogeneity and normality tested used the chi-square. The results obtained by the chi-square counting greater than 0.05, mean that there is a type of game with the stimulus of intelligence and mathematical logic in early childhood.

Abstract

Toko Rizquna di Panjer merupakan usaha retail yang menjual kebutuhan pokok dan kebutuhan rumah tangga. Kualitas layanan menjadi faktor penting bagi Toko Rizquna untuk meningkatkan pasar dan membangun citra perusahaan. Berdasarkan informasi dari kepala toko terjadi penurunan pengunjung yang signifikan pada 4 bulan terakhir tahun 2021 menjadi 10.000 pengunjung, faktor penyebabnya adalah kualitas pelayanan yang perlu ditingkatkan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Service Quality dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas layanan dan meningkatkan strategi desain pada Toko Rizquna. Hasil analisis deskriptif mengidentifikasi permasalahan pada sepuluh variabel, antara lain produk mudah ditemukan 3.08, area parkir luas 3.36, karyawan teliti dalam melayani pelanggan 3.00, karyawan cepat dan tepat melayani pelanggan 3.36, harga produk terjangkau 3.18, karyawan tanggap memberi penjelasan pada pelanggan 3.08, karyawan murah senyum 3.17, tempat parkir aman 3.16, karyawan penuh perhatian 3.37 dan karyawan ramah kepada pelanggan 3.36. Hasil analisis menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) proses perbaikan sesuai dengan ranking dimulai dari nilai yang tertinggi yaitu memperbarui label jenis barang dan harga dengan bobot 0.374 dan yang terakhir yaitu meningkatkan menambah tukang parkir dengan bobot 0.063.

Abstract

Sindaro Waterfall in Wadasmalang village, Karangsambung district is one of the tourist attractions in Kebumen Regency. Sindaro Waterfall has become a tourist destination for the community because of its unique contour with two levels of waterfall. The current condition of Sindaro Waterfall is unkempt, damaged, and not developing, resulting in a decrease in visitor numbers. Therefore, efforts are needed to develop Sindaro waterfall to increase the number of visitors. The aim of this research: 1). Identifying criteria variables at the Curug Sindaro tourist attraction 2). Structuring criteria for developing the Curug Sindaro tourist attraction. Criteria variable data and structuring criteria for developing the Curug Sindaro tourist attraction were obtained using the Ergonomic Participation method. This research uses the Participatory Ergonomics method. Determining the criteria variables for developing the Curug Sindaro tourist attraction was carried out using a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving the village head, management (village), BUMDES, visitors, tourism service, public health office. Next, the criteria data was made into a closed questionnaire and distributed to respondents. Questionnaire results are processed using SmartPLS. The results of data processing show significant sub-criteria results, namely revitalization, homestay, tourist information office, Sindaro waterfall gallery, information boards, direction boards, gazebos, signboards for proper waste disposal, supporting facilities such as (toilets, trash cans, etc.), parking area security, safety explanations, warning boards, fishing tours.

Abstract

CV. Rasyid is a business unit specializing in the production of ecoprints. Currently, one of the most sought-after clothing colors by consumers is burnt coral red. However, CV. Rasyid has been unable to meet this demand due to challenges in the production process, specifically the deterioration of the color during the fixation stage. To address this issue, the community service team from the Industrial Engineering Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Gombong (Unimugo) provided facilitation and support. The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to produce burnt coral red for ecoprints using secang dye. The activities include preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The implementation process was conducted with guidance on color extraction, mordanting, design printing, and fixation. Monitoring results indicate that CV. Rasyid successfully carried out the burnt coral red ecoprint production process independently without significant issues. While the colors produced may vary slightly, this is not a concern, as such variations are a unique characteristic of ecoprint products.

Abstract

The use of plastic as a packaging material remains the primary choice among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) due to its practicality and affordability. However, growing environmental awareness has encouraged the adoption of sustainable packaging as a more ecologically responsible alternative. This activity aimed to assist Rena Snack in identifying and applying environmentally friendly packaging alternatives suited to the characteristics of its products. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The results showed that sustainable packaging was relatively easy to implement, effectively maintained product quality during distribution, and remained cost-efficient. However, several challenges emerged, including mismatched packaging sizes, limited resistance of paper materials to oil and moisture, and extended processing times when using banana leaves. The sustainability evaluation indicated that the combination of paper and banana leaves held promising potential for broader application, provided there were adjustments to production efficiency and alignment with consumer preferences. This initiative is expected to encourage broader adoption of sustainable packaging practices among MSMEs to enhance competitiveness in the green economy era.
