Abstract

Morals are very important, so Allah SWT sent his messenger to fix it. Morals, attitude and character positive are life skills. Life skills cannot be taught, they should be transmitted, so a model is needed to be imitated. Scientific phenomena have the potential to be a model. Nature saves a lot of messages from Allah SWT which, if digested, becomes knowledge. One of the scientific phenomena in nature that can be used as knowledge and improve life skills are butterflies and magnets. Literature study is used to analyze scientific phenomena from several aspects, namely 1) religion based on Al-Quran and Hadith, 2) scientific concepts of phenomena found in nature, 3) application in life, and 4) integration in life skills. Butterflies can be a model of the importance of self-control to be good and not give up quickly in the face of difficulties and the belief that with difficulties there is ease. Magnets become a model of unity, rhythm, agreement, strength will be achieved. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the creation of Allah SWT in nature in the form of scientific phenomena can be a model for improving life skills.

Abstract

Fisika kuantum adalah ilmu tentang perilaku/karakteristik/sifat materi dan energi pada molekul, atom, sub-atomik bahkan yang lebih kecil lagi dari sub atomik. Artikel ini bertujuan menemukan kebermaknaan fisika kuantum yang dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dalam membangun karakter peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yang berpedoman pada Al-Quran. Hasil kajian mendapatkan Pendidikan tidak bisa dilepaskan dari proses multidimensional yang di mana setiap proses pendidikan dalam hal ini, pembelajaran akan lebih baik tetap mengandung unsur-unsur multidimensional. Unsur multidimensional yang ditekankan dalam artikel ini adalah Religion, Moral, Attitude and Character (RMAC). Membangun aspek-aspek multidimensional tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan menyisipkan pemaknaan konsep fisika kuantum di setiap proses pembelajaran sebagai contoh untuk menumbuhkan Religion, Moral, Attitude and Character (RMAC).

Abstract

Geoelectricity is one of geophysical methods performed by injecting electric current into the earths. This research objected to map aquifers using geoelectric with Schlumberger electrode configuration consisting of 4 sounding points. The results are then processed with IP2WIN software which yields a real resistivity map as a function of depth. The correlation of sounding points produces three-dimensional real resistivity maps. The results of this study located at a housing estate, Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, consists of 4 sounding points show that the aquifer is have huge amount of fresh water The aquifer layer in this area is a free aquifer. At point PA1 the depth of the aquifer starts from a depth of 81.4 – 125 meters; PA2 point at a depth of 80 – 124 meters; PA3 point at a depth of 91.8 – 118 meters; and Point PA4 at a depth of 47.4 – 113 meters

Abstract

Based on its geographical location, West Nusa Tenggara Province is located in a disaster-prone area. Because generally disaster hazards can occur anywhere with little or no warning, it is very important to be prepared for disaster hazards to reduce the risk of their impacts. One of the most strategic efforts is through learning or training to improve the ability of the community to respond to disasters by creating a Disaster Preparedness School. The purpose of this activity is to realize the implementation of disaster management activities in schools / madrasas. The method used is (a) direct instruction to improve partner understanding related to disaster and disaster mitigation materials, (b) Group Discussion Forum to develop disaster learning modules and (c) simulations to improve disaster response partner skills. This activity will be held in the Qomarul Huda Narmada Forest High School in West Lombok-NTB. The output target of this activity is the formation of an evacuation route map as well as an explanation and the establishment of a disaster learning module that can be used in the learning process. It is hoped that by developing disaster preparedness school programs will contribute effectively to early prevention of disaster hazards.Keywords: Disaster Preparedness School, disaster mitigation, earthquake.

Abstract

Kegiatan penelitian, contohnya menulis karya ilmiah, di sekolah tidak pernah diproritaskan untuk dilakukan, walaupun pemerintah telah melaksanakan bermacam pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi menulis guru. Menulis karya ilmiah juga ditetapkan sebagai syarat kepangkatan bagi guru. Terkait dengan permasalahan tersebut maka kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pemahaman guru dalam hal penulisan ilmiah, (2) Penyediaan Pembimbingan Karya Ilmiah (3) Mengetahui kompetensi penyaji terkait materi penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh guru di yayasan Pondok Pesantren Darul Aminin NW Aikmual Praya Lombok Tengah. Peserta terdiri dari Guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan Guru Madrasah Aliyah yang berada di Yayasan PP Darul Aminin. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner menyatakan bahwa 82% peserta menginginkan pembimbingan terstruktur, materi yang disajikan memenuhi kriteria yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 84% dan penyaji memiliki kemampuan profesional sebesar 99%. Direncanakan untuk mengadakan kelas virtual menggunakan LMS moodle UNRAM sebagai langkah tindak lanjut kegiatan ini.

Abstract

[Title: Moving Average Filter for Time Lapse Gravity Anomaly Separation]. Interpretation of time-lapse gravity anomaly due to fluid injection in the reservoir is difficult when it mixed with shallow source anomalies. To solve the kind of problem, anomaly separation is performed with the method of Moving Average Filter. This study was conducted to obtain an effective method to separate the gravity anomaly of shallow sources on time-lapse gravity anomaly. Trials are conducted on anomaly models derived from reservoirs with three distinct depths that are 300, 600 and 900 meters. This forward model is then mixed with gravitational anomaly from the shallow source obtained from the field data. The mixed anomaly is then separated by a Moving Average filter. Results show that Moving Average filters can separate the shallow effect from the deep source anomaly and are effective up to a depth of 900 meters. The research is also beneficial for classroom learning in the computer programming class based on Matlab.

Abstract

The geoelectric method is a very effective method for subsurface aquifers (water reserves). This method is based on the injection of an electric current from the surface to the earth's body with a certain electrode configuration. The geoelectric method used in this study uses a Schlumberger electrode configuration. Surveys with this method are proven to be able to map the height of the water table at a point in the survey area. In this study, the geoelectric method has been proven to be able to map the potential for water flow discharge in aquifers. From the results of the calculation of the potential for water discharge using the Darcy equation, it is found that the discharge value is around 22.11 liters per second.

Abstract

The Bengkaung area, Batulayar District, West Lombok is suspected to be very vulnerable to the risk of earthquake hazards. However, in this area no scientific research, either geological or geophysical, has ever been carried out regarding this hazard. How are the physical characteristics of the lithology and structure in the area to the risk of earthquake disaster? The purpose of this study was to determine the physical characteristics of the lithology and subsurface structures that were validated by the level of damage. The method used is the geoelectric method and local building damage data. The results of the 2D geoelectric anomaly modeling show the characteristics of the subsurface lithological layers in the form of sand, sandstone, clay, andesite lava faults, fresh andesite lava, and granite. The fault was detected in the center of the study area in a north-south direction. Earthquake hazard analysis shows that the cause of the high risk of earthquake hazard in Bengkaung Village is the presence of faults and cohesive lithology. The highest potential risk is in the southern part of Bengkaung Village. The southern area of ​​Bengkaung Village is dominated by clay that has cohesive properties, especially on the surface. The western and northern parts of Bengkaung Village have medium and low vulnerability to earthquake hazards. The last two areas are dominated by non-cohesive soils in the form of sandy soils and lapilli pumice

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan pengalaman, pengetahuan dan keterampilan aplikatif konsep gelombang pada mahasiswa calon guru dalam menentukan struktur bawah permukaan persawahan Sembalun Bumbung. Dalam penelitian ini, geophone digunakan untuk menangkap gelombang seismik yang memancar dari bawah permukaan bumi. Gelombang yang ditangkap oleh geophone diubah menjadi data seismik yang dapat dibaca oleh seismograf. Data seismik yang terbaca oleh seismograf sudah tersimpan di unit utama PASI 16S24-P sebagai data digital.  Struktur bawah tanah yang teridentifikasi berdasarkan hasil analisis data seismik di sawah Sembalu Bumbung adalah: a) Penerapan konsep gelombang adalah menentukan struktur permukaan bumi menggunakan gelombang seismik yang dibiaskan, b) Terdapat 2 lapisan dengan ketebalan 1,8 meter dan 8,2 meter, c) Lapisan pertama merupakan lapisan tanah dan lapisan kedua lapisan pasir halus kering yang permeabel terhadap air, dan d) metode yang dapat digunakan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran aplikatif adalah kuliah lapangan, serta respon mahasiswa terhadap kuliah lapangan matakuliah pengantar geologi dan geofisika sangat baik.
