Abstract

Education in Indonesia still experiences many gaps and lags compared to other countries. One of the programs of the MBKM policy is Kampus Mengajar, which aims to help improve the quality of education in elementary, junior high, and senior high schools/vocational schools. The purpose of this activity is to find out the implementation of collaborative actions by Kampus Mengajar Batch 8 students, in an effort to improve numeracy literacy, administration, technology adaptation, student character development, and environmental conservation. The data used is qualitative data using descriptive methods. The Kampus Mengajar Batch 8 program will be implemented in September - December 2024. The stages of implementing activities include planning, implementation and evaluation. The implementation of the collaborative action of the Kampus Mengajar Batch 8 program in 2024 went very well and had an impact, especially on the academic abilities of students. In addition, this collaborative action succeeded in creating a very good emotional bond between teachers, students and students.

Abstract

Olele Marine Park is a marine tourism destination that has great potential because of its underwater beauty and biological wealth. However, this potential has not been fully utilized by the surrounding community to its full potential. This community service activity aims to increase community involvement in managing tourism areas through environmental education, tourism awareness training, and strengthening local institutions. The methods used are field observation, group discussions, and direct assistance to the community. The results of the activity show an increase in community understanding of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the tourism environment, preserving coral reefs, and basic skills in tourism services. Tourism development that directly involves the community has proven to be able to build a sense of ownership and encourage the growth of local initiatives in managing tourism areas sustainably.

Abstract

Siswa Indonesia berada di peringkat ke-72 dari 79 negara, berdasarkan data PISA tahun 2018. Berdasarkan data dari Most Littered in the World, Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-60 dari 61 negara yang diteliti. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi di Indonesia, sehingga berdampak pada sumber daya manusia yang tidak kompetitif. Kampus Mengajar hadir untuk membantu sekolah-sekolah, khususnya dalam meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi aksi kolaborasi mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 sebagai wujud mengabdi untuk negeri. Data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September Desember 2024. Aksi kolaborasi program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 Tahun 2024 berjalan dengan sangat baik dan berdampak khususnya pada kemampuan akademik peserta didik. Selain itu, aksi kolaborasi ini berhasil menciptakan ikatan emosional yang sangat baik antara guru, mahasiswa dan peserta didik.
