Abstract

The Effectiveness Of Organizational Communication In Its Relations By Optimizing The Subak Function (Case In Subak Munggu, Cempaga Village, Bangli District). Agriculture in Bali is closely related to the existence of Subak which has been known since 1071 AD as one of the three main pillars supporting Bali's fame. Subak is a Balinese cultural heritage which plays a very important role in the development of agricultural development in Bali, by applying the Tri Hita Karana (THK) philosophy, the three causes of happiness, namely the existence of a harmonious relationship between humans and God, humans and fellow humans, and humans and nature. Subak is declared as a farmer-based irrigation system and an independent institution (self-governed irrigation institution). Based on Bali Province Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2012, Subak is a traditional organization of indigenous communities in Bali in the field of water and plant use that is socio-agrarian, religious and economic at the farming level. According to Windia (2010), daily Subak activities include spiritual activities related to various religious ceremonies, mutual cooperation activities of Subak organizations regulated in customary regulations (awig-awig), management of irrigation systems with a proportional concept, regarding lending water to each other. , and others. These subak activities or activities are related to the five functions of subak as an irrigation system, namely (1) carrying out religious ceremonies, (2) sharing and distributing irrigation water, (3) management or mobilization of farmer resources, (4) maintenance of irrigation canals, and ( 5) conflict handling or management.

One form of productive activity that has been carried out by KWT Bina Amerta in Jembrana Regency as an effort to utilize agricultural products and at the same time provide additional income is processing coconut into VCO. The large number of coconut plantations around the Bina Amerta KWT location is one of the reasons for the development of VCO processing. The purpose of this study is to determine the source the uncertainty of farming citrus siam, the magnitude of production uncertainty, price and income also how to mitigate these uncertainty. There are several sources of uncertainty faced by farmers including sources of social uncertainty, physical uncertainty and economic uncertainty. The magnitude of uncertainty farming citrus siam there are first, production uncertainty with standard deviation is 1.616,11 kg/ha/year, then the score of coefficient variation is 0.09 and production uncertainty lower limit value is 14.764,63. Second, price uncertainty with standard deviation is 42,38 then we get the score if coefficient variation is 0,01 and price uncertainty lower limit value is Rp4.847,84. Last, income uncertainty with standard deviation in amount of Rp7.413.000,13 /ha/year, coefficient variation score is 0.11 and income uncertainty lower limit value is Rp53.863.133,07 /ha/year. Abstract

Comparison of Farming Income Rice and Chili – Tobacco in Subak Gde Sukawati Gianyar The sustainability or resilience of Subak appears to be under threat due to the rapid development of Bali tourism which has brought many changes in various aspects of Balinese life. Apart from the lack of interest among rural Balinese youth to work as farmers, another source of threat to the existence of subak is the rapid conversion of irrigated rice fields to uses other than agriculture. It seems that there are no definite figures regarding the area of ??rice fields that still exist today. However, sufficient information shows that in a period of 20 years around 15,000 ha of rice fields were lost because they were used for non-agricultural purposes. If the rice fields run out, the various benefits (multi-functional benefits) that can be achieved from the function of rice fields so far will disappear. The urgency of this research is to further understand decision making in situations of contradiction between the goal of maximizing income in one-crop farming and minimizing risk in farming with two crops on one paddy field. So it is deemed necessary to carry out this research regarding the sustainability of Subak in the future. The T test or T test is a statistical test used to test the truth or falsity of the null hypothesis which states that between two sample means taken randomly from the same population, there is no significant difference. From the results of the F table and T table, there are significant differences in the income from rice-chili and tobacco farming.

Factors Affecting Labor Productivity of Rubber Tapping PT. Melania Indonesia Mas Estate (Case Study at PT Melania Indonesia Mas Estate Toy Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra) This study aims to determine the productivity of the tapping labor force and the factors that influence the productivity of the rubber tapping workforce of PT Melania Indonesia. This analysis uses independent variables, namely wages, work experience and incentives. The dependent variable is the productivity of tapping labor. The sample of this research is the rubber tapper workers of PT Melania Indonesia as many as 78 respondents. Statistical method using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using SPSS 24 program, with hypothesis testing statistical test t. The results of the analysis of data from the t test showed that the wage variable (X1) had a positive and significant effect on productivity with a Sig value of 0.009 <0.05, the work experience variable (X2) and incentives (X3) also had a positive and significant effect on productivity with a Sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 and 0.000 < 0.05. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.950. This means that the tapping labor productivity variable is influenced by the variables of wages, work experience and incentives by 95%. The conclusion of this study is that the variables of wages, work experience and incentives are factors that affect the productivity of rubber tappers in PT Melania Indonesia's plantation. In this case, plantation companies are expected to pay attention to stability in the provision of wages, work experience and incentives, this is because these variables are the driving factors that affect the workforce in achieving company goals.
