Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of the 4G internet network in Tuah Madani District using the Quality of Service (QoS) method which involves throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter parameters. Due to the high population level, the Tuah Madani sub-district has a densely populated area with a significant population. This causes the need for high internet services as well. The high population density can affect the quality of the network, where the density of the population and the large number of buildings can cause network performance to be less than optimal. The purpose of this study is to provide comprehensive information about the quality of the 4G internet network in Tuah Madani District and provide recommendations to the public to choose the best provider. Analysis of the quality of the 4G network was carried out in three urban villages with the largest population, namely West Sidomulyo Village, Tuah Karya Village, and Sialang Munggu Village. The results of the study in West Sidomulyo Village showed that Smartfren was the best provider with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category. The results of the study in the Tuah Karya Village showed that Telkomsel was the best provider with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category. The results of the study in the Sialang Munggu Village showed that Smartfren was the best provider in the Sialang Munggu Village with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category

Abstract

Fotografi sebagai bagian dari industri kreatif Indonesia merupakan sebuah industri yang mendorong penggunaan kreativitas individu. Fotografi juga berkembang seiring dengan bertambahnya manfaat fotografi di dalam kehidupan manusia. Pada dasarnya, fotografi dapat berhubungan dengan semua aspek industri karena kebutuhan foto dapat dijadikan sebagai dokumen penting. Perkembangan digital membuat pencarian barang dan jasa secara online sering ditemukan. Namun, pencarian jasa fotografer masih kurang maksimal karena belum adanya aplikasi khusus yang digunakan oleh fotografer dan pencari jasa fotografer. Pencarian fotografer yang dilakukan saat ini menggunakan metode konvensional, yaitu dengan mencari fotografer melalui rekomendasi teman ataupun keluarga serta melalui sosial media yang tidak diperuntukkan khusus pencarian jasa fotografer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang desain prototipe aplikasi pencarian jasa fotografer berdasarkan aspek user interface (UI) dan user experience (UX). Penelitian menggunakan metode Lean UX yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu, Declare Assumptions, Create an Minimum Viable Product, Run an Experiment dan Feedback and Research yang menghasilkan asumsi permasalahan, rancangan prototipe, eksperimen internal dan pengujian usability. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah prototipe yang dibangun menggunakan aplikasi Figma. Prototipe telah diuji kepada 25 responden menggunakan pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) yang menghasilkan nilai 82.

Abstract

To facilitate the assessment and application of Curriculum 2013 (K13) for schools, students and teachers need an application system that can be accessed via the web and mobile. This study builds applications with K13 standards in education units. This application can be accessed through web and mobile applications with centralized data based on the Application Programming Interface (API). This application was built with the interaction between teachers, students, parents with the method of system design, implementation and testing. The application is equipped with Telegram API-based notifications to inform parents and students of grades. This application runs well on web and mobile-based with a response of 84.7% of users stating that they strongly agree with the application's features.

Abstract

UIN Suska Riau campus led to an escalation amount of data and information that must be maintained, such as academic information. UIN Suska Riau is responsible for managing and providing academic information to students and other academic communities. We can ask the Customer Care Center (C3) in Academic System or come directly to the PTIPD UIN Suska Riau office for academic questions. There still has limitations to serving existing questions submitted through C3 because officers can only serve during working hours both online and offline. Chatbots can be used to support the work of C3 officers in serving the questions asked. This system is built based on Named Entity Recognition (NER) using Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML). We perform NER analysis using HMM. This study uses the contents of the academic manual as a base knowledge with 150 categories of questions and 30 answers that produce an accuracy of 55%.

Abstract

The inability to fulfill basic human needs is how poverty is defined. To address this issue, the indonesian goverment implements various social assistance programs, one of which is Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP), aimed at providing free education to children aged 7-18 who are economically disadvantaged. However, in the distribution of aid in the Pangkalan sesai sub-district, distributing officers often face challenges due to the high number of eligible recipients applying, complex data requierements, and limited time for the officers. Distributing this social assistance accurately is crusial. Therefore, this research aims to determine the accuracy value for the data of potential recipients of the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP to enhance the data verification process’s outcomes. To tackle this issue, the research employs the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algoritm and also employs feature selection using Information Gain to reduce less influential attributes. The data used consists of 1998 records of KIP beneficiaries from the 2023 in excel format, with 33 attributes. After performing data cleaning an Information Gain-based feature selection, the dataset is reduced to 1675 records, with 5 selected attributes. The best classification result in this study is achieved with ratios of 7:3 and 8:2, and a value of k = 5, yielding the highest accuracy of 98,21%. The lowest accuracy is obtained using a ratio of 9:1 with the same k value when not using Information Gain, resulting in an accuracy of 89,82%.

Abstract

The Indonesian government's efforts to overcome poverty in Indonesia are through the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) program which is carried out by the government in the form of providing assistance to underprivileged families. The main aim of distributing KIP assistance is to help send underprivileged children to continue their education, the difficulties found in receiving KIP are due to the large number of residents registering, as well as the data having several conditions, the limited time available in providing KIP by sub-district parties, the completion base is relatively low, therefore the provision of assistance must be right on target. Therefore, the aim of this research is to look for the most influential attributes in receiving KIP assistance in order to improve the results of the data verification process. After carrying out Feature Selection using Information Gain, the most influential attributes can be obtained. The influences are Number of Art, Number of Rooms, Cooking Room, Refrigerator, Motorbike. Therefore, we need to know some of the attributes that most influence the selection of KIP assistance so that we can get accuracy values from decision tree modeling using the C4.5 algorithm or decision tree. Test This experiment can produce a decision tree in which the Number of Art attribute is the most influential attribute with the success rate of KIP acceptance. This evaluation uses a confusion matrix to obtain an accuracy value of 98.21%, precision of 98.21%, recall of 99.48%.

Abstract

The millennial generation has a pivotal role in leading the industrial digital revolution. Energy-saving behavior and millennials’ awareness of energy consumption for educational context become crucial in performing a smart campus. This study tries to identify the success factors in measuring the millennial generation’s energy-saving Behavior toward the smart campus. The measurement model considers two significant constructs, including energy-saving attitudes with energy-saving education (organizational saving climate); energy-saving education and environment knowledge (personal saving climate); and energy-saving information publicity as sub-indicators, and construct energy-saving Behavior viz sub-indicators Behavior regarding energy and behavior control. In order to determine the preference level of each indicator and sub-indicator, the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy-AHP) approach was executed by disseminating the questionnaire to 100 respondents from energy practitioners, students, and academicians in Indonesia. The calculation reveals that the energy-saving behavior construct has a higher priority value (0.94) than the energy-saving attitude (0.06). Meanwhile, energy-saving education and environment knowledge (personal saving climate) have been analyzed at the cutting-edge sub-indicator, followed by energy-saving information publicity and education (organizational saving climate). In addition, the sub-indicator for behaviors regarding energy becomes more demanding compared to behavioral control. As a novelty, the priority analysis of this Model aids the management of the campus and government in developing smart campus policies and governance. This Model can be used as a guideline for the management level to execute the smart campus practices. Thus, the effectiveness and optimization of smart campus transformation can be cultivated and accelerated. Besides, the potential coming of risks can be avoidable.

Abstract

The utilization of WiFi internet networks on campus as tools to support the learning process at the Faculty of Science and Technology is crucial. Therefore, it essential for the campus to provide internet facilities ensure that all activities, including services and the learning process, are effective. This research analyze the quality of WiFi networks at Faculty of Science and Technology using the Quality of Service (QoS) method with parameters such  throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. In this study, testing was conducted on WiFi networks in three buildings within the Faculty of Science and Technology, under different conditions during peak hours and off-peak hours, using several SSIDs such as Pegawai, Pimpinan, Uinsuska, Labor TIF dan Baru Belajar, with bandwidths of up to 100Mbps. Test results indicate that the values obtained for throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter in the three buildings were categorized as "Excellent" with an index of 4. However, in the Lab building, some parameters were found to be low. Therefore, this research conducted a redesign of the topology in the Lab building using Network Simulator 2 (NS2) to improve the quality of the WiFi network. Four nodes were recommended for each floor of the Lab building in the topology redesign. The results of these tests provided QoS parameter values that were used as information for the tested topology recommendations, showing good parameter quality with a throughput value 4738.7 Kbps, a packet loss value 0%, delay value 3.9639249 ms, and jitter value 0,381779103 ms. The results of this testing can be used as information and analystt for the campus PTIPD to enhance the quality of WiFi networks in the Faculty of Science and Technology

Abstract

Because there are so many advantages to using e-commerce, it is now expanding quickly. E-commerce, particularly for electronic items, makes it simpler for customers to execute transactions without traveling. Because businesses (business actors) do not yet have a pattern and strategy for the products they sell, the use of e-commerce has not yet reached its full potential. As a result, sales occasionally suffer because the supply of products does not meet consumer needs, forcing consumers to leave without purchasing these products, which has an impact on transactions. sales firm. Businesses (businesspeople) must use data mining to implement data processing. For this reason, researchers use an application strategy that is appropriate in this situation: the a priori algorithm. Finding frequent itemsets that frequently show up in the data set with the strongest pattern is frequently done using the a priori algorithm. This algorithm's output can be used to assist management in making decisions. According to the study's findings, the rule "if you buy AA Batteries (4-pack), you will buy AAA Batteries (4-pack), "if you buy AA Batteries (4-pack), you will buy a USB-C Charging Cable," and "if you buy AA Batteries (4-pack) and AAA Batteries (4-pack), you will buy a USB-C Charging Cable" all have a support and confidence value of 100%.

Abstract

The Riau Ministry of Religion Regional Office is still archiving assignment letters and official travel letters manually. The staff who take care of the correspondence section, namely personnel and legal unit staff, do not have an application that facilitates the activities of assignment letters and official travel letters to simplify filing and data containing certain information contained in letters which include assignment letters and official travel letters. Security is important because it relates to data. Therefore, a correspondence application was created to support the correspondence activities of the Riau Ministry of Religion Regional Office and make it easier for staff in the Civil Service and Legal unit to properly manage assignment letters and official travel letters as well as control books. Android application development uses the waterfall method and the ECB (Electronic Code Book) mode AES algorithm and MD5/SHA-256 hashing for security. By building this application, it will be easier for leaders and employees to exchange letters and confidential information, guaranteed security and the application built can be used by users easily. The results of the Black Box testing carried out on the application produced the expected output and the UAT test obtained a score of 89%. Application testing on sentences, Jpg, Png and PDF files has a fairly high level of security using statistical analysis methods, namely bit frequency testing, autocorrelation, 0/1 bit distribution, entropy.
