Abstract

This article is based on the limited lecture model for Kapita Selekta Mathematics (KSM) courses. The purpose of writing this article is to identify the perception of lecturers and students to PBW in Prodi PMT FTK UIN Suska Riau seen from: 1) the existence of math-based learning website; 2) understanding of lecturers and students regarding the existence of PBW; and 3) problems in implementing PBW. This article uses quantitative descriptive research. The subjects involved consisted of three lecturers and seven students. Data were collected through PBW utilization questionnaires. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. This article presents some conclusions, among others: 1) lecturers and students do not understand the importance of PBW; 2) PBW has the advantage and good quality in supporting the learning process of mathematics; and 3) the main problem in implementing PBW is infrastructure especially in WiFi /hotspot facility and lecturers ability

Abstract

This article is based on the limited lecture model for Kapita Selekta Mathematics (KSM) courses.  This article aims to reveal the results of technology validation of the website of the mathematics proficiency course (KSM) on UIN Suska Riau students. This article uses a development research model that uses Sugiyono's research steps but only limited to two stages, namely design stage and product validation stage. The validated aspect of the learning website is graphic feasibility and program feasibility with indicators: 1) the size of the learning website, 2) the design of the learning website, and 3) the design of the content of the learning website. The validation instrument is a questionnaire using Likert scale that is filled by three expert technology experts. Assessment of the validity of the learning web on the aspect of feasibility of the graphics resulted in a total validity value of 3.9 with valid categories. As for the web learning on the feasibility aspect of the program to produce the value of validity as a whole that is 4 with valid categories

Abstract

The Indonesian government is trying to implement a learning process based on information and communication technology. However, there are still weaknesses in the use of the internet in the learning process among students. Therefore, this article aims to describe the activities of students during the implementation of hybrid learning in mathematics learning and find out the results of student learning in mathematics through the application of Hybrid Learning. The research method used in this article is a true experimental design with a research sample of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students, whose schools have easy internet access. To obtain primary data from the field, tests are used to measure student mathematics learning outcomes. After each data is collected and tabulated, the data will be analyzed using statistical parametric analysis with the t test using the help of SPSS Version 18.00. The results showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes between those studying with the Hybrid Cooperative Learning method and students learning with conventional methods in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The difference is confirmed again by the mean value of the experimental class 34.55 while the mean control class is 31.35. The results of this calculation indicate that the ability of the experimental class students is better than the control class students. This means that the value of the experimental class is better.

Abstract

Community Service Program is done based on problems encountered by Primary School and Early Childhood Education Teachers in Riau Municipality and Province. Therefore, in order to maintain the sustainability of science education through practicum/experiment, then simple Educational Props alternative of Natural Sciences needs to be developed whose provision is easier and affordable and utilization is simple because it is not easily broken. Based on several problems identified, then solution that would be formulated was counselling and assistance in making educational props such as making educational props from secondhand goods, environment, and kahoot application as interesting memorable learning media for Primary School and Early Childhood Education Teachers in Pekanbaru. The service activities was Participatory Action Research (PAR) that was conducted through descriptive approach method. Based on the result of the activities, it can be considered as successfully overcoming the problem proven by the high teachers’ participation in participating in the training and the successfulness of the teachers in developing the educational props.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the mental inadequacies of students who can hinder the goals of education and teaching in the school environment. Therefore, mental health guidance is needed through religious formation. Based on these phenomena, this study aims: 1) to find out the efforts made by teachers in developing religious and mental health of students in MAN Indragiri Hilir; and 2) to analyze the presence or absence of the influence of religious guidance on the mental health of students in MAN Indragiri Hilir. The research method used was a quantitative study conducted on 56 students. Data collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires. After the data is collected completely, a data analysis is done using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS version 23.00 for Windows. The results obtained from this study include: 1) religious guidance conducted by teachers in mentally developing students, including: habituation of Dhuha prayer, Dhuhr prayer in congregation, reading Asmaul Husna and giving Jariyah every Friday in each class. While activities outside of effective learning hours include social service and apostolic assembly; and 2) there is an influence of religious guidance on the mental health of students by 53.7% on mental health in MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesan guru terhadap program pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Peserta yang mengikuti program pelatihan terdiri dari 45 orang guru SD Lubuk Raja Kabupaten Pelalawan. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan SPSS versi 26 for windows. Penilaian kesan program pengabdian terdiri dari 3 konstruk yang mana hasil dari konstruk materi diperoleh rata-rata 4.48 dengan kategori baik, konstruk penyampaian materi diperoleh rata-rata 4.41 dengan kategori baik dan konstruk diskusi/ tanya jawab diperoleh rata-rata 2.83 dengan kategori baik. Sehingga dapat ditarik sebuah kesimpulan bahwa program pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran memiliki kesan yang baik bagi peserta

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai hoaks serta propaganda radikalisasi di kalangan komunitas pendidikan Indragiri Hulu. Mengusung pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), kegiatan ini memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal, khususnya keahlian pendidik dan dukungan lembaga pendidikan, sebagai strategi utama dalam penanggulangan masalah sosial ini. Hasil pengabdian mencakup peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat, kolaborasi yang kuat antar-stakeholder, pengembangan program edukasi sesuai kebutuhan lokal, serta penyebarluasan hasil melalui berbagai saluran. Proses evaluasi berkelanjutan juga diterapkan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan peningkatan program. Model pendekatan ABCD dan program edukasi yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan replikabel bagi komunitas pendidikan lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia menghadapi kesulitan dalam memadukan prinsip-prinsip Islam dengan pendekatan pengajaran kontemporer dan kemajuan teknologi, yang memotivasi penerapan Program Merdeka Belajar dalam upaya meningkatkan standar pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai seberapa baik Program Merdeka Belajar dilaksanakan dalam pendidikan Islam, dengan penekanan pada pemahaman konsep, bantuan teknologi, dan pengaruhnya terhadap pengembangan karakter Islami siswa. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah survei kuantitatif, dan data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pendidik dan peserta didik di banyak sekolah. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Program Merdeka Belajar dapat membantu siswa tumbuh menjadi individu Islami, terdapat masalah serius dalam pemahaman konsep, ketidaksetaraan penggunaan teknologi, dan dampak pengembangan karakter yang tidak konsisten. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan untuk meningkatkan pelatihan guru, mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi, serta mengadopsi pendekatan holistik dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya evaluasi berkelanjutan dan penyesuaian metode pembelajaran agar Program Merdeka Belajar lebih efektif dalam membentuk siswa yang unggul secara akademik dan memiliki karakter Islami yang kuat di era digital

Abstract

The research focuses on the development of educational media using Scratch, a visual programming platform, to teach the concept of buoyancy and enhance computational thinking (CT) skills in primary school students. By adopting the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination), the study identifies challenges in traditional teaching methods, particularly the abstract nature of buoyancy, which often leaves students unengaged. The Scratch-based media addresses this by providing interactive simulations, allowing students to visualize and experiment with floating and sinking objects, thus making the learning process more engaging. The study involves designing a storyboard and flow of the media, followed by the development of simulations where students instruct sprites (characters) to test buoyancy. The media's effectiveness is validated by experts, who rate it based on display design, navigation, content relevance, interactivity, and technical suitability, with the overall results indicating that the media is valid and practical for use in educational settings. This approach not only helps students grasp scientific concepts but also builds their CT skills by integrating programming with science learning. The findings imply that such interdisciplinary tools can transform science learning by making abstract concepts more accessible and engaging, and encourage the development of both scientific and computational competencies in young learners.Keywords: buoyancy; computational thinking (ct); educational media; primary education; scratch programming
