Abstract

Sistem monitoring output dan pencatatan data pada panel surya adalah suatu alat yang digunakan untuk memonitoring dan mencatat output dari panel surya. Biasanya dalam memonitoring panel surya dilakuakan dengan alat ukur manual dan mencatat hasil pengukuran secara manual yang tentunya memerlukan tenaga manusia yang lebih banyak. Maka alat ini dibuat untuk dapat memonitoring dan mencatat output dari panel surya secara otomatis. Metode dalam perancangan ini dibagi menjadi dua yaitu perancangan perangkat keras (hardware) dan perancangan perangkat lunak (software). Alat ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno sebagai pengontrol utama dan SD Card berkapasitas 8 GB sebagai media penyimpanan nilai arus, tegangan dan daya Output dari panel surya. Dimana dengan SD Card tersebut dapat menyimpan data output panel surya kurang lebih hingga 3860 Tahun.

Abstract

Where it was recorded that according to BMKG data in 2019 in East Bali there were 15,000-30,000 lightning strikes. This gives the potential for, lightning strike on a 20 kV distribution linewhich is quite high. This connection will cause interference to the feeder if the lightning arresteris placed on the distribution transformer incorrectly. The equepment used to protect equipmentfrom lightning surge distrubances, one of which is a lightning arrester. The lightning arresterused in the KL 0074 substation is in place after the cut out. The Losan medium-voltage aerialfeeder is conncected by an A3CS cable for 8.5 km and an MVTIC cable for a distance of 2.02km which is connected to the KL 0074 substation. The distance between the KL 0074transformer and the lightning arrester is 3.75 meters, so it needs to be examined further to findout whether the protection generated by the lightning arrester is optimal or not. Theeresulttofftheanalysissshowwthatttheelightning arrester with an instalation distance of 0.34 meters from thetransformer is still able to cut the lightning surge, with the resulting splash voltage of 124.977.4Volts but the spark voltage is within the tolerance limit of the 125 kV lightning arrester splashvoltage.,

Abstract

Speech disorder is an individual who has difficulty in communicating. Speech disorder people is using non-verbal communication or sign language to be able communicate with other individuals. INSERT (Integrated Speech Disorder Helper Tools) is a prototype created to help communicate for speech disorder people so that it can make easier in communicating for speech disorder people. This tool using motion sensors in the work, that will translate sign language used by speech disorder people to voice. By using a Wireless Router device based on OpenWrt operating system will be applied database system that allows for updates of sign language that can be recognized by the tool.

Abstract

Bali has the potential for mini-hydro and micro-hydro power plants of 15 MW. There are154 rivers and springs scattered in Bali which are used as irrigation for rice fields. Aan Villagehas an Irrigation Channel, namely Subak Aan Dauh Desa which is sourced from the TukadBubuh, which according to observations has a stable flow every year. This study aims todetermine the potential of MHP in Aan Village, especially in Subak Aan Dauh Village IrrigationChannel, Tukad Bubuh seen from the condition of the research location, water discharge andhead. The methods used in this research are observation, literature study, and interviews. Thedata is then processed to obtain an estimate of the appropriate power generation based on thewater discharge, and head at each location. The results of this study indicate the potential ofMHP in the Subak Aan Dauh Desa irrigation channel, Tukad Bubuh, Aan Village, there are 4research locations with each water discharge of 0,7917 m3/s, 0,7434 m3/s, 0,9612 m3/s, and0,3198 m3/s, having a head of 0.9 m, 1.1 m, 3 m, and 2 m. The estimated power generation withthe assumption that the total efficiency of the 65% is 4.54 kW, 10.42 kW, 18.38 kW, and 4.07kW. Based on the aspect of determining the type of turbine at each research location, locations1 and 2 used the Breast Wheel type waterwheel, while locations 3 and 4 used ArchimedesScrew turbines.

Abstract

The types of filters used to reduce harmonic distortion are passive filters, active filtersand hybrid filters. The type of filter that usually uses the system controller is an active filter. Inthis study, an analysis of current harmonic distortion from the simulation results using matlabhaccording to the IEEE Std 519-1992 standard in existing conditions, active filter operatingconditions, active filter operation using PID controllers and active filters based on Fuzzy LogicController. The simulation results of the three models used show that the resulting THDii stillmeets the IEEE Std 519-1992 standard, namely the THDi is still 8%, the simulation results forPID-based active filters are: pasa R = 2.89%; S = 2.34%; T = 3.23% and based on fuzzy logiccontrollers are: R = 0.15%; S = 0.11%; T = 0.13%.

Abstract

The increasing need for electrical energy every year results in the availability of energysources is dwindling. Therefore, the need for energy conservation to streamline the use ofelectrical energy without reducing its comfort or productivity. The main factor of energyconservation is energy auditing. Plasa Telkom Teuku Umar is a company engaged intelecommunications. The convenience of employees and customers takes precedence overthis0company.0The best service0must also be followed by the efficient use of facilities. For thisreason, an electrical energy audit is needed. In this study, it was attached0to theair0conditioning0system and lighting system. It is attached to the air conditioning system andlighting system. Tools0that can be0used for measurement in the field are Lux Meter, (lightintensity measurement), Tang Ampere (electric current measurement), and Thermometer (roomtemperature measurement). The study was conducted by0calculating and comparing0electricalenergy consumption in lighting and air conditioning systems between before and after anenergy audit. Calculate the pre- and post-audit IKE (Energy Consumption Intensity) andcompare it to the IKE standard. The results of the study found energy savings of 36.06%. Fromelectricity usage of 16.86 kWh/m2/bln pre audit to 10.78 kWh/m2/mo post audit.

Abstract

Electrical equipment categorized as the nonlinear load will cause harmonics. Harmonic is a periodic distortion of the sine wave that can cause a negative impact on electronic equipment components. One way to improve power quality is to reduce harmonics using harmonic filters. In this study, an analysis of the system was carried out before adding a filter and after adding an active filter based on a fuzzy logic controller. The application of the fuzzy logic method on filters functions to reduce over switching in the inverter so that it can reach the lowest THDi value. THDi simulation results when the existing conditions are in phase R, S, T; at 14%, 17%, 14%. When the active filter condition is without control, the THDi percentage at the R phase is 6%, the S phase is 6%, the T phase is 4%. In the active filter conditions based on the fuzzy logic controller the percentage of THDi in phase R, S, T; is 0.9%, 0.9, 1%. Based on the simulation results introduced in the active filter based fuzzy logic controller is able to reduce harmonic distortion to the lowest value, so the use of fuzzy logic in active filters can be used in the harmonic filtering process in the electrical system.

Abstract

Harmonic filters are used to reduce harmonic distortion in electric power systems. Inactive filters, usually the required reactive power (Qc) can be adjusted. In this study, an analysisof the Qc setting on the Active filter was carried out to determine the effectiveness of the filter sothat the THDi (total harmonic distortion) was obtained which was in accordance with the IEEE519-2014 standard (8%). The results of the analysis of the smallest Qc which can still reduceharmonic distortion when meeting the IEEE 519-2014 standard is Qc 55% of the maximumreactive power with THDi for pasa R = 7.38%; S = 7.81%; and T = 5.94%. Control is needed toadjust the Qc on the filter, because the Qc value will continue to change according to theelectric load being operated.

Abstract

Handbrake of a vehicle is the most important thing in a safety system in maintaining theposition of the vehicle in its stop position. The hand brakes function to brake or lock the rearwheels mechanically through the connecting rods and cables. The hand brake is also to parkthe vehicle on a down/climb road. In order to facilitate the ability of four-wheeled vehicles whenstopping on the ramp due to traffic jams, a special wheel locking system is used on the ramp. Ina one-way wheel shooting system when a four-wheeled vehicle stops on the ramp, the systemlocks the wheel when the wheel rotates slightly backwards without having to pull the handbrakelever. Therefore, this research aims to describe how the work of the one-way wheel lockingsystem when on the ramp of a four-wheeled vehicle. At the design of this system researchersmake prototype as a simulation system that is approaching similar to the shape of componentsof a four-wheeled vehicle. Researchers perform test system work when the prototype movesforward and backwards to find out if the system is capable of locking the wheels when the moveis backward and release the locking wheel when moving forward without using the hand brake.Using a one-way wheel locking system is expected to facilitate the driver in driving four-wheeledvehicles on the ramp without having to use the hand brake.

Abstract

The increase in the need for electrical energy in Indonesia is increasing along withpopulation growth. Followed by the depletion of fuels originating from fossil energy. Based ongeographic conditions, Indonesia has many rivers so that it has the potential to generateelectricity by utilizing the flow of water which is called PLTMH (Microhydro Power Plant). Inrealizing this PLTMH, one type of water turbine can be used, namely the Kaplan turbine, wherethis type of turbine works at low head conditions with large discharge. The purpose of thisresearch is to analyze the performance of the Kaplan type turbine guide vane prototype atangles of 15º, 30º, 45º, 60º, 75º, and 90º to meet the electricity demand in Indonesia. Afterbeing examined based on all the variations tested, the maximum value of the turbine rotationalspeed at an opening of 15º with the rotation values obtained before and after coupled with thegenerator were 249.5 rpm and 216.5 rpm. The value of the generator rotation before and afterthe 30 Watt load coupling is 1096.6 rpm and 999 rpm. Voltage, current, and power producedare 9,1 Volts, 0,68 Amperes, and 6,18 Watts. The resulting torque of 0,27 Nm. The greatestefficiency was obtained at a combination of the opening angle of the guide vane of 15º at2,62%.
