Abstract

This study aims to identify, find out how influential the CRH learning model is based on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research using pre-test and post test control group design. With 40 students from grade V SD Negeri 107406 Cinta Rakyat who became the study population using two different classrooms as experimental classes and control classes, each class consisting of 20 students. Using the technique the total sample from this study was taken, and used on all populations as its sample. This research tool uses a research test consisting of 20 essay questions. The data collected was obtained through student learning outcomes from before and after the test. In addition, the data was also analyzed using Normality test analysis, Homogeneity test, and continued with T-test samples. Then obtained with a significant value of 0.011 > 0.05 which has a difference of about 9.5 which means accepting H0 and rejecting Ha, from these results researchers concluded that using the CRH method can affect students' critical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of a team game tournament learning model on the mathematical performance of high school students using blocks and cubes as instructional tools. This experimental design consists of a pre- and post-test control group with twenty samples each. This study included a total of 60 students from Grade V SD IT Syifaurrahmah Patumbak, with 30 students from Grade VA and 30 students from Grade VB serving as samples. The homogeneity test is carried out in accordance with the research results after the normality test. The results of students' mathematics learning were influenced by the teaching model of teams games tournament, according to statistical data (p = 0.026 < 0.05). The results show that this model rejects the null hypothesis and supports the alternative hypothesis.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of social media use on the behavior of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is qualitative research with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This research collects secondary data from various journals and related literature. The research results show that social media has both positive and negative impacts on student behavior. Positive impacts include ease of access to information, increased creativity, and support for social interaction and learning. However, negative impacts such as impaired concentration, decreased quality of direct interactions, potential for cyberbullying, and exposure to inappropriate content were also found. In an educational context, collaboration between teachers and parents is very important to direct the use of social media wisely, in order to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the benefits. This research recommends the need for intensive supervision and digital education for elementary school students to encourage positive and responsible use of social media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung (calistung) melalui program literasi numerasi memanfaatkan limbah sampah di Desa Tebing Tanjung Selamat. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis proyek dengan memanfaatkan limbah sebagai alat peraga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa sebesar 35%, berdasarkan hasil pretest dan post-test. Selain itu, program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis siswa terhadap pengelolaan limbah. Penggunaan limbah sebagai media pembelajaran terbukti efektif dalam merangsang kreativitas, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan berkelanjutan. Evaluasi lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa sekolah dan masyarakat secara aktif mengintegrasikan konsep ini dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar sehari-hari. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran kontekstual dapat direplikasi di daerah lain dengan kondisi serupa

Abstract

Perkembangan TIK melaju begitu cepat bahkan telah merambah ke semua sektor kehidupan masyarakat. Sebagai seorang guru profesional kita dituntut harus memiliki kemampuan untuk menguasai teknologi tersebut. Hal itu telah ditetapkan dalam Permendiknas nomor 16 tahun 2007, ada empat kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru diantaranya kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, individual, dan sosial. Yang dimaksudkan kompetensi guru dalam penelitian ini yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, dalam kompetensi pedagogik dinyatakan bahwa seorang guru harus mampu menggunakan serta memanfaatkan TIK guna untuk kepentingan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK di SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh. Adapun manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu sebagai sarana untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang bagaimana kriteria pemilihan dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Pengolahan data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari enam orang guru yaitu guru kelas I s/d VI. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 17 dan 18 Januari 2017 di SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat dikemukakan sebagai berikut. Pertama, guru sudah cukup baik dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, namun masih dibutuhkan banyak bimbingan dalam mengakses langsung media dari internet. Kedua, guru yang kurang mampu menggunakan TIK disebabkan oleh faktor usia. Ketiga, guru yang kurang mampu menggunakan TIK masih terikat dengan media konvensional yang ada di lingkungan sekitar.Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh guru dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK sudah cukup baik. Namun masih diperlukan banyak bimbingan dalam mencari media dan sumber belajar dari internet. Disarankan untuk pihak sekolah agar lebih meningkatkan lagi pengadaan bimbingan mengenai TIK bisa melalui pelatihan, seminar, bahkan lokakarya, sehingga beberapa kendala dalam pemanfaatan TIK sebagai media pembelajaran dapat diatasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Student Errors in Solving Mathematics Problems with the Polya Model in SMA PAB 5 students. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection using tests and interviews. This study involved 24 students in class X-1. Subjects for the interview were taken from 3 of 24 students in class X-1, with the criteria of students who made mistakes in solving mathematics problems with the material of the three-variable linear equation system (SPLTV). Each research subject was interviewed regarding the results of the questions that had been solved. Data validity testing was carried out using time triangulation. The results of the study showed that there were mistakes made by class X students of SMA PAB 5. The mistakes made in solving mathematical story problems on the SPLTV material were mistakes in understanding the problem, mistakes in making problem-solving plans, mistakes in implementing plans, and mistakes in rechecking answers. The type of error that is most often made is an error in implementing the plan. The factor that causes students to make mistakes is that students have difficulty understanding the meaning of the sentence in the story problem.

Abstract

This research was carried out to clearly determine the influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students' social literacy. This research was conducted at SDS IT DELISHA in class IV which was carried out on two experimental and control groups whose samples were from classes IV-A and IV -B. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research design used is pretest and posttest which is guided by the research instrument. The results of the research show that research on the influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning model on students' social literacy based on the activities carried out by students is in the very good category. This analysis data is obtained from student learning results before and after the test. Apart from that, Normality test analysis, Homogeneity test, and continued with sample T-test were also carried out. The average score obtained when carrying out the pretest for each group of students in class IV A as a whole was 69.75 and in class IV B as a whole was 64.2. After implementation, it was discovered that the average posttest score on social literacy for class IV A students using the CIRC model as a whole was 81.15. And in class IV B using the conventional model the overall score was 76.75. So the conclusion is that the learning outcomes in experimental class IV A were higher than those in control class IV B.

Abstract

The ability to read, write, and count (Calistung) is a fundamental skill that elementary school students must master as a foundation for further learning. In Tebing Tanjung Selamat Village, Padang Tualang Sub-district, Langkat Regency, students' Calistung proficiency remains low due to the lack of varied teaching methods and the underutilization of the surrounding natural environment as a learning resource. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve students’ Calistung skills through the integration of the natural environment into the learning process. The program was implemented through teacher training, the development of contextual learning modules based on the local environment, and direct assistance during learning activities. The results of the program show a significant improvement in students' Calistung abilities, as indicated by the increase in average pre-test and post-test scores. Active participation from teachers, students, and the local community played a key role in the program’s success. In addition to improving students' basic competencies, the program produced valuable outputs such as learning modules and best practices that can be replicated in other rural areas with similar characteristics. Environment-based learning has proven to be effective, enjoyable, and relevant for enhancing students’ basic skills in rural settings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Advance Organizer learning model on students’ social literacy skills compared to conventional learning models. The research employed a true experimental design with non-probability sampling, involving 27 fourth-grade students as the experimental class and 27 fifth-grade students as the control class. The research instrument was a social literacy test administered through pretest and posttest. Data analysis included normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test using SPSS version 26. The results showed that the data were normally distributed (Sig. 0.188 > 0.05) and The t-test obtained a significance value of 0.013 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 86.30, while the control class scored 79.26. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Advance Organizer learning model is more effective in improving students’ social literacy skills compared to conventional learning models

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran outdoor study dan kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap hasil belajar IPAAS siswa kelas IV SDIT Delisha Tandam Hilir 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2×2 yang menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran (outdoor study dan CLIS) dan kecerdasan interpersonal (tinggi dan rendah) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 54 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok kelas (kelas dengan model outdoor study dan kelas dengan model Children Learning in Science). Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes deskriptif, sedangkan kecerdasan interpersonal diukur menggunakan angket skala likert yang menilai aspek komunikasi, kerjasama, empati, dan kepemimpinan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah ANOVA Dua Jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model outdoor study secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model CLIS (Fhitung = 7,750 dan nilai sig. 0,008 < 0,05); (2) siswa dengan kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada siswa dengan kecerdasan interpersonal rendah (Fhitung = 5,097 dan nilai sig. 0,028 < 0,05); dan (3) terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap hasil belajar IPA (Fhitung = 6,268 dan nilai sig. 0,016 < 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat dan penguatan aspek kecerdasan interpersonal sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.
