Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of multi-channel teaching media and cognitive styles toward the history learning achievement. This quantitative, experimental study employs a 2X2 factorial design. It involves two independent variables, i.e. multi-channel teaching media (X1) and cognitive styles (X2), and learning achievement (Y) as the dependent variable. Population of the study is all students of the History Education Department who are taking the History of Indonesia 3. Samples are selected from this group using random sampling and are collected by conducting Learning Achievement and Cognitive Style tests. Findings signify that: (1) Teaching activities which utilize teaching media by utility (making use of the environment) bring greater learning achievement compared to those that utilize teaching media by design. (2) There are differences between the learning achievements of students. Those with field-independent cognitive style show better achievement than students who are field-dependent. (3) Findings show that students of the Indonesian History 3 course who were taught using teaching media by utility obtain better learning achievement than those who were taught using teaching media by design. Making use of the media available in the immediate learning environment will make it easier for students to manipulate information that they receive with their respective cognitive structure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media dan gaya kognitif terhadap hasil belajar sejarah. Penelitian menggunakan eksperimen ini menggunakan desain faktorial 2X2. Ini melibatkan dua variabel independen, yaitu media pembelajaran (X1) dan gaya kognitif (X2), dan prestasi belajar (Y) sebagai variabel dependen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Sejarah yang mengambil Sejarah Indonesia 3. Sampel dipilih menggunakan random sampling dan dikumpulkan dengan melakukan hasil Belajar dan tes Gaya kognitif. Temuan menandakan bahwa: (1) kegiatan Pengajaran yang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran by utility (memanfaatkan lingkungan) membawa hasil belajar yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan mereka yang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran by design. (2) Ada perbedaan antara prestasi belajar siswa. Mereka dengan gaya kognitif menunjukkan prestasi lebih baik. (3) Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa dari kuliah Sejarah Indonesia 3 yang diajarkan menggunakan media pembelajaran by utility memperoleh prestasi belajar yang lebih baik daripada mereka yang diajarkan menggunakan media yang mengajar dengan by design. Memanfaatkan media yang tersedia di lingkungan belajar langsung akan memudahkan siswa untuk memanipulasi informasi yang mereka terima dengan struktur kognitif mereka masing-masing.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to determine the differences in social studies learning outcomes taught by the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model which is higher than the social studies learning outcomes with the Problem Based Learning model. (2) To find out the differences in social studies learning outcomes of students who have a higher visual learning style than the social studies learning outcomes of students who have a kinesthetic learning style. (3) To determine the interaction between learning models and student learning styles in influencing the social studies learning outcomes of private students, Ar Rahman Percut. The population of this study was 122 students of class VII-A and VII-B of Ar Rahman Percut Private Middle School. Samples were taken by cluster rondom sampling. The sample used in this study was 63 students. The selected sample is classVII-A and class VII-B. The instrument used was a multiple choice test, amounting to 30 items and a learning style questionnaire. The data were analyzed at the significant level = 0.05, followed by the Scheffe further test after the normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that, (1) There are differences in social studies learning outcomes, where the social studies learning outcomes with the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model are higher than the social studies learning outcomes with the Problem Based Learning model with Fcount 8,70> Ftable 4.00, (2) There are differences in student social studies learning outcomes, where the social studies learning outcomes of students who have a visual learning style from the social studies learning outcomes of students who have a kinesthetic learning style with Fcount 5.01> Ftable 4.00, (3) There is an interaction between the learning model and the learning style of the students' social studies learning outcomes Fcount 5.20> Ftable 4.00

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Primary School Teachers' Ability in utilizing ICT-based learning media in Banda Aceh City; and 2) Differences in the average of students interest in learning taught by high, medium and low competence teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning media.This research is conducted in Banda Aceh City. The population in this study are public elementary schools equipped with wifi and at least B accredited consisting of 42 schools. The research method used is a quantitative method with a comparative type. Data collection techniques ae carried out by observation techniques, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses one-way ANAVA. The results of the study show that: (1) The ability of elementary school teachers to utilize ICT-based learning media in Banda Aceh is in the medium category. (total score = 170.22, this is in the range 140 ≤ X <220); and (2) There is a significant difference between the average of students interest in learning taught by high, medium and low competence teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning media. (F count = 40,205 with sig. = 0,000 <0,05).

Abstract

the aim of this research is to get a student learning result of citizenship education in internet learning media with high interpersonal communication get solustion for problems about the teaching and learning process in Civics learning in this school, the researcher conducted a direct interview with the teacher who took care of the subjects to the location/ object of research, namely class XI teacher Al-Azhar High School Medan. This research was conducted at Al-Azhar High School Medan, in class XI, both for conducting instrument trials and conducting research. This research will be carried out in the even semester of 2018/2019 Academic Year, namely in April 2019, with the treatment given in 6 meetings.  The result is Interpersonal communication is communication between communicator and communicant and Citizenship learning outcomes of students who have high interpersonal communication are higher than citizen ship learning outcomes of students who have low interpersonal communication.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Multimedia Pada Mata Pelajaran  Desain Busana di SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran. Penelitian ini diadaptasi dari model pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall yang dipadu dengan model desain pembelajaran Dick dan Carey. Metode penelitian terdiri dari: tahap I merupakan uji coba produk, tahap II merupakan uji efektifitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (I) uji ahli materi berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak (86,68%), (2) uji ahli desain instruksional berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak (82,87%), (3) uji ahli media pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak (81,03%), (4) uji coba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak (86,13%), (5) uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak (87,40%), dan uji coba lapangan terbatas berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak (93,28%). Hasil pengujian menggunakan uji t satu pihak, diperoleh harga thitung = 5,983 dan ttabel = 1,67. Jika dibandingkan maka thitung>ttabel atau 5,983 > 1,67 maka Ha diterima yaitu ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia.  Kata kunci: bahan ajar, berbasis multimedia, bagian-bagian busana  Abstract: This study aims to determine development of multimedia based teaching materials  on the subject of fashion of SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran. This study is adapted from the model of development according to Borg & Gall combined with a model of instructional design Dick and Carey. The research method consists of Phase I trial is a product consisting. Phase II is a test of the effectiveness of the product. The results showed (I) test material experts are at a very decent qualifying (86.68%), (2) test the instructional design experts are at a very decent qualifying (82.87%), (3) test the learning media experts are on qualifications very worthy (81.03%), (4) individual testing are at a very decent qualifications (86.13%), (5) testing a small group is at a very decent qualifying (87.40%), and field trials limited qualifications are at a very decent (93.28%). The test results using the t test one hand, the price obtained t = 5.983 and table = 1.67. When compared to the t count> t table or 5.983> 1.67 then the Ha is accepted that there are differences student learning outcames are taught using multimedia based teaching  material with the students without using multimedia based teaching  material.   Keywords: teaching materials, multimedia-based, fashion design

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) mengembangkan modul  berbasis miltikultur pada pendidikan sejarah?; (2) mengetahui apakah modul  berbasis multikultur pada pendidikan sejarah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran?; dan (3) mengetahui apakah modul  berbasis multikultur pada pendidikan sejarah efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan R &D dengan mahasiswa pendidikan sejarah FPIS Unimed. Hasil penelitin menunjukkan, bahwa: (1) uji validasi dan uji coba produk pada uji perorangan, kelompok kecil dan lapangan menyatakan bahwa Modul Pendidikan Sejarah sangat bermanfaat untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran; (2) menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada uji coba terbatas pada kriteria  modul yang dikembangkan sangat baik dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran pendidikan sejarah. (3) Penilaian Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dengan Modul Pembelajaran Uji Coba layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Sejarah. (4) penerapan Modul sejarah berbasis berbasis multikultural  pada pembelajaran pendidikan sejarah memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan bahan ajar konvensional. (5) Keefektifan Modul sejarah berbasis berbasis multikultural  pada pendidikan terhadap hasil belajar digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: modul pembelajaran,  multikultur, pendidikan sejarah Abstract: The research objectives are: (1) to develop a milticulture-based module in history education; (2) determine whether the multicultural-based module in history education is suitable for use in the learning process ?; and (3) determine whether the multicultural-based module in history education can effectively improve student learning outcomes. Research and development methods R & D with history education students FPIS Unimed. The results of the research show that: (1) validation tests and product trials in individual, small group and field trials state that the History Education Module is very useful for use in the learning process; (2) shows that the quality of the implementation of learning in the trial is limited to the criteria for a very well developed  modul and is suitable for use in the learning process in learning history education. (3) Assessment of Learning Implementation with Trial Learning Modules suitable for use in the learning process of History Education. (4) the application of a multicultural-based history module to learning history education has higher learning outcomes when compared to conventional teaching materials. (5) The effectiveness of a multicultural-based history module on education on learning outcomes is used in improving learning outcomes. Keywords: learning module, multiculture, historical education

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah (1) menghasilkan media pembelajaran intaraktif berbasis budaya pada mata pelajaran matematika yang layak digunakan. (2) mengetahui efektifitas media pembelajaran intaraktif berbasis budaya pada mata pelajaran matematika. Metode pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan dari Thiagarajan yang lebih dikenal dengan nama model 4D, yaitu :Define (definisi), Design (Design), Develop (Pengembangan), Dissemnate (penyebaran). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, (1) validasi ahli materi (86%) dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) validasi ahli desain instruksional (85%) dengan kategori sangat baik, (3) validasi ahli media pembelajaran (89%). (4) ujicoba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (89%), (5) ujicoba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (86,3%), (6) ujicoba lapangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (81%).Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk pengembangan penelitian media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis budaya pada mata pelajaran matematika layak digunakan. Pada tahap penyebaran di empat sekolah berbeda menunjukkan adanya kenaikan rata-rata dari nilai pretesdan posttest yaitu dari 63,65 menjadi 86,9. Serta persentase rata-rata hasil penilaian terhadap produk multimedia interaktif berbasis budaya memburoleh nilai 83,56% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk pengembangan penelitian media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis budaya pada mata pelajaran matematika sangat efektif. Kata Kunci: pengembangan multimedia interaktif, berbasis budaya, matematika Abstract: The objectives of this research and development are (1) to produce culture-based interactive learning media on mathematical subjects that are appropriate to be used. (2) knowing the effectiveness of culture-based interactive learning media in mathematics. The development method in this study uses a development model from Thiagarajan, better known by the name of the 4D model, namely: Define, Design, Develop, Dissemnate (deployment). The results showed, (1) the validation of material experts (86%) with a very good category, (2) the validation of instructional design experts (85%) with a very good category, (3) the validation of instructional media experts (89%). At the stage of distribution in four different schools showed an increase in the average value of the pretest and posttest that is from 63.65 to 86.9. And the average percentage of the results of the assessment of culture-based interactive multimedia products scored 83.56% with very good criteria. Abstract

Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan bahan ajar kewirausahaan berbasis kontekstual pada siswa, (2) menggunakan bahan ajar kewirausahaan berbasis kontekstual dalam pembelajaran layak digunakan pada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan produk Borg and Gall yang dipadu dengan model desain pembelajaran Dick and Carey. Metode penelitian terdiri dari tujuh langkah yaitu sebagai berikut : (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) mengembangkan produk awal, (3) validasi ahli dan revisi, (4) uji coba perorangan, (5) uji coba kelompok kecil, (6) uji coba lapangan terbatas, dan (7) produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) uji ahli materi berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (90,58%), (2) uji ahli desain pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (82,89), (3) uji ahli media pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (83,55), (4) uji coba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (92,94), (5) uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (95,72), dan (6) uji coba lapangan terbatas  berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik(95,10). Dengan demikian, pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Kata Kunci: bahan ajar kewirausahaan, kontekstual, siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan  This study aims to: (1) develope contextual based instructional material in entrepreneurship for students, (2) use contextual based instructional material in entrepreneurship in effective instruction which is used by students. The type of this research is the research and development that used the product development model of Borg and Gall and combined with instructional design model of Dick and Carey. The research method consists of seven steps as follows: (1) need assessment, (2) to develop the initial product, (3) the expert validation and revision, (4) individual trial, (5) small group trial, (6) a limited field trial, and (7) final product. The result of this research showed: (1) the test of subject matter experts is at the excellent qualification (88.23%), (2) the test of the instructional design experts is at the excellent qualification (82.89%), (3) the test of the instructional media experts is at the excellent qualification (83.55), (4) the individual trial is at the excellent qualification (92.94%), (5) the small groups trial is at the excellent qualification (95.72%), and (6) the limited field trial is at the excellent qualification (95.10%). Abstract

Learning limitations as a result of the covid-19 pandemic which requires distance learning or online learning (on the network) of history subjects based on the telegram application. This type of qualitative descriptive research aims to find out the events, facts and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what happened. This research was conducted to see the process and impact of the use of the telegram application on students' history learning at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe. The data instrument in this study used observations, online interviews and instrument filling in class XI IPS 2 students as samples using google forms, as well as documentation. The method used to analyze the data is a qualitative technique. The result of the research is that by utilizing the telegram application in history learning for class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe, it runs well with few obstacles on the network in the event of rain or power outages. This can be seen in the smooth learning process and the results of interviews with teachers and students who say there are no obstacles in the use of this telegram application as a medium in the history learning process, other than only network constraints in the event of rain or power outages.
