Abstract

The rapid adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools such as ChatGPT has significantly transformed digital learning practices in higher education; however, empirical evidence on students’ continuance intention toward subscription-based GenAI services remains limited. This study aims to examine the determinants of university students’ continuance intention to use ChatGPT Premium by adopting the Information Systems Success Model (ISSM) within the context of digital learning management. An online survey was conducted with 200 Indonesian university students who had used ChatGPT Premium for at least six months, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that system quality, information quality, and service quality have positive and significant effects on perceived usefulness and price fairness, which subsequently enhance students’ continuance intention. Mediation analysis confirms that perceived usefulness and price fairness significantly mediate the relationships between the three quality dimensions and continuance intention. These findings extend the application of the ISSM by positioning price fairness as a critical evaluative component in subscription-based GenAI services and provide managerial implications for higher education institutions in optimizing digital learning strategies through improved system performance, information reliability, and value-oriented service management to support the sustainable use of GenAI in academic settings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived quality and price fairness on repurchase intention with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable among Yonex badminton racket users in Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal research design. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 250 respondents using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that perceived quality has a significant direct effect on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. Price fairness is also found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. In addition to these direct effects, customer satisfaction serves as a partial mediator that strengthens the influence of perceived quality and price fairness on repurchase intention. These findings suggest that consumers consider not only quality and price directly, but also evaluate them through their level of satisfaction before deciding to repurchase. Accordingly, this study emphasizes customer satisfaction as an important psychological mechanism that links consumers’ perceptions of quality and price to repurchase behavior.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia continue to face a persistent export performance gap compared with comparable ASEAN economies. Although previous studies have examined collaborative networks, market orientation, and digital capabilities separately or in pairs, little is known about their integrated role in improving SME export performance. This study addresses this gap by developing and testing an empirical model integrating Export Sharing Community (ESC), Export Market Orientation (EMO), and Export Digital Agility (EDA), with EMO and EDA proposed as complementary mediators. Using a cross-sectional survey of 215 exporting SMEs across Indonesia, data were collected through structured questionnaires employing five-point Likert scales adapted from validated measures. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM–AMOS 24) was used to test the proposed model, while mediation effects were assessed using standardized indirect effects and the Sobel test. Results show that all eight hypothesized relationships are positive and significant. ESC directly improves export performance while strengthening EMO and EDA, and EMO also positively influences EDA. EDA is the strongest direct predictor of export performance (β = 0.465), whereas both EMO and EDA significantly mediate the relationship between ESC and export performance. The model explains 72.0% of the variance in export performance, highlighting the complementary roles of export communities, market orientation, and digital agility in enhancing SME export competitiveness in an increasingly digitalized global market.

Abstract

This study aims to examine market reactions to rights issue announcements among conventional banking companies by assessing changes in abnormal returns, trading volume activity, and stock return volatility before and after the announcements. A quantitative event study design was employed using secondary data from 26 conventional banking issuers that announced rights issues during 2020–2024. An 11-trading-day event window, covering five days before and five days after the announcement date, was applied. Market reactions were measured using abnormal return, trading volume activity, and stock return volatility. Because the data did not satisfy the normality assumption, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test was used to examine differences between the pre- and post-announcement periods. The findings indicate significant differences in abnormal return, trading volume activity, and stock return volatility following rights issue announcements. The results demonstrate that rights issue information generates measurable changes in investor responses, reflected in changes in returns, trading intensity, and stock price fluctuations. The findings provide practical insights for investors in evaluating rights issue announcements as relevant information for investment decisions. The study also contributes to the literature by integrating return, trading activity, and volatility indicators within an event-study framework.
