Abstract

Status gizi dapat dipengaruhi oleh dua yaitu faktor langsung dan tidak langsung. Penyebab langsung terdiri dari asupan makanan anak dan penyakit infeksi yang mungkin diderita anak dan penyebab tidak langsung terdiri dari pengetahuan ibu dan pelayanan kesehatan (kunjungan posyandu). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan energi, protein, pengetahuan gizi ibu, dan frekuensi kunjungan posyandu dengan status gizi. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel purposive sampling beserta ibunya. Instrumen data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner untuk pengetahuan gizi ibu, asupan energi dan protein dari recall 3x24 jam, frekuensi kunjungan posyandu diperoleh dari data register dan buku KIA/KMS dan status gizi diperoleh melalui penimbangan kemudian dibandingkan dengan skor Z-score BB/U WHO 2005. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji chi square antara asupan energi deengan status gizi (p=0.018), asupan protein dengan status gizi (p=0.091), pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan status gizi (p=0.109), dan frekuensi kunjungan posyandu dengan status gizi (p=0.469). Kesimpulan penelitian, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan energi dengan status gizi, serta tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan protein, pengetahuan gizi ibu dan frekuensi kunjungan posyandu dengan status gizi. Saran peneliti untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah meneliti faktor – faktor yang memepengaruhi status gizi balita seperti penyakit infeksi, pola asuh dan keadaan ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

The pest control service industry is one of the industries in the field of pest control services, especially those in residential areas that use pesticides that can be harmful, especially for pest sprayers. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with pesticide poisoning in workers in pest spraying companies. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 30 people spraying pests at PT Zeta Prima Lestari with a total sampling method. Univariate, bivariate analysis, and statistical tests use coefficient contingency. Measurement of serum cholinesterase levels was carried out at Borromeus Hospital Bandung. The results showed the characteristics of the respondents most respondents aged 21-30 years (63.3%), working period of more than 1 year were 43.3%, smoking habits (70.0%), the duration of exposure were mostly more than 5 hours per day (90%), there were still those who did not use PPE in full (3.3%) and the BMI of respondents in thin and fat conditions was 26.7%. Statistical test results showed that the variable use of PPE is associated with serum cholinesterase levels (p = 0.0001), but age (p = 0.573), years of service (p = 0.245), smoking habits (p = 0.506), length of exposure (p = 0.735), BMI (p = 0.540) and Hb levels (p = 0.690) are not related. Based on research results that pest sprayers who use PPE in full will be better protected from exposure to pesticides. The recommended recommendation is to monitor the use of PPE before work and periodic serum cholinesterase checks on pest sprayers.

Abstract

The activity of photocopying can not be avoided from office activities and education. Photocopier risk having musculoskeletal complaints. This study aimed of determine the risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders in photocopier. Respondents were taken by accidental sampling obtained as many as 84 operators. The research design used was observational research with cross sectional approach. The instrument to measure work attitudes was REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) and MSDs using NBM (Nordic Body Map). Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, observations, taking pictures and measuring the work position of the photographer. The statistical test used was chi square at a 5% significance level. The results of statistical analysis concluded that there was no relationship between age (p=0.260), gender (p=0.290), level of education (p=1.000), marital status (p=0.727), status ownership of photocopy (p=1.000), number of copies (p=0.122), smoking habits (p=1.000) and length of service (p=1.000) with musculoskeletal complaints, but there is a relationship between length of work (p=0.026) and work attitude (p=0.001) with musculoskeletal complaints. The recommended advice is the need for counseling on ergono-mics and occupational safety and health for owners and photocopier.

Abstract

Fatigue merupakan fenomena normal bagi setiap orang sehat, yang dapat dikurangi dengan istirahat maupun tidur. Kurang tidur (sleepiness) telah menjadi fokus masalah dalam isu kesehatan kerja. Penelitian kelelahan kerja pada dosen masih sangat terbatas dan belum menjadi perhatian. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan lama waktu tidur dengan akumulasi kelelahan kerja pada dosen. Desain potong lintang digunakan dalam penelitian terhadap 236 partisipan berasal dari delapan sekolah tinggi ilmu kesehatan swasta di Jawa Barat. Lama waktu tidur per hari diukur menggunakan kuesioner dan akumulasi kelelahan kerja diukur menggunakan instrumen self-diagnosis check list for assessment of worker’s accumulated fatigue. Rerata waktu tidur adalah 6,23±1,1 jam per hari. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji korelasi product moment didapatkan lama waktu tidur berkorelasi negatif dengan gejala kelelahan subjektif (r=-0.132; p<0.05), kondisi kerja (r=-0.169; p<0.05), dan akumulasi kerja (r=-0.173; p<0.05). Semakin tinggi lama tidur, maka semakin rendah kelelahan kerja yang terjadi. Kurangnya waktu tidur dalam jangka waktu yang lama dapat berakibat pada kualitas hidup dosen dan dapat menyebabkan sakit. Perlunya mengurangi akumulasi kelelahan kerja agar cukup waktu tidur dan beristirahat bagi dosen. Sleepiness is a health issue in the occupational health and safety. However, a study related to job burnout in the lecturer community is limited. The aims of this study was to uncover the relationship between lecturers’ sleep duration and their job burnout. The cross sectional design was applied to 236 participants who came from eight different private Health Sciences School in West Java. Sleep durations were measured by a questionnaire and Self-diagnosis Check List for Assessment of Worker’s accumulated fatigue was used to measure lecturers’ job burnout. Results have shown that rates of the sleep duration in a day were around 6,23±1,1 hours. Product moment test has shown that the sleep duration had negative correlation with subjective fatigue (r=-0.132; p<0.05), working conditions (r=-0.169; p<0.05), and working accumulation (r=-0.173; p<0.05). The more sleep duration the lower job burnout. Long term sleepiness can be affected to lecturers’ quality of live. Enough rest and sleep are the best way to deal with job burnout problems.Key words:Breakfast, fatigue, job burnout, lecturer, sleep duration

Abstract

Workload, work stress, work fatigue, and performance are important variables in an organization, which must be well organized so that the organization can run well and succeed. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload, work stress, work fatigue, and teacher performance. The research design used was cross-sectional in 38 teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Bandung city taken in total sampling. The instrument was adopted from previous studies which have been validity and reliability tested. The results showed all teachers have moderate workloads, experience mild stress, and poor performance. Most respondents experienced work fatigue (76.3%). Statistical tests using the Spearman Rank Correlation Test and Product Moment concluded that there was a relationship between workload, work stress, and teacher performance. There is a relationship between work stress, work fatigue, and teacher performance and also the relationship between workload and teacher performance. There is a negative relationship between workload and performance, neither is the relationship between work stress, work fatigue, and teacher performance. Suggestion for SMPN 3 Bandung city is to organize workshops to improve teacher performance, and giving refreshing once a year to prevent work stress.

Abstract

Background: Fraud is any unlawful acts committed by individuals within an organization or institution to gain an illegal advantage of others through manipulation, falsifying truth and good behavior. On employees, pressure may cause fraud in part by problems stemming job stress from the work environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of job stress with the risk of fraud on employees. Methods: The study design used cross sectional. Samples were employees in the Administration, Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, Information and Technology, and Procurement at the National Eye Center Hospital X as many as 37 people. The sampling technique used in this study was proportional random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire. Analysis of data was done through two stages, namely univariate to see the frequency distribution and bivariate to see the relationship (chi square). Results: The result showed that Ho was rejected (p-value = 0.0001) meant that there was a relationship between job stress with the risk of fraud. Conclusion: The relationship between job stress with the risk of fraud suggests the hospital to do the job stress measurement and risk of fraud continuous and reduce employees stress levels through strategies such as redisigning organizational approaches and participatory decision-making.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Gangguan muskuloskeletal banyak dikeluhkan oleh penjahit yang bekerja di perusahaan dengan lama bekerja yang berkisar antara 6-8 jam per hari dan posisi statis. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan status gizi, masa kerja, dan sikap kerja dengan gangguan muskuloskeletal pada penjahit yang bekerja di suatu perusahaan di Kota Bandung. Metode: Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, melibatkan 30 orang penjahit sebagai responden yang diambil secara total sampling. Pengukuran status gizi dengan bantuan timbangan berat badan dan microtoise, untuk sikap kerja diukur menggunakan Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) dan gangguan muskuloskeletal menggunakan Nordic Body Map (NBM). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden mengeluhkan gangguan muskuloskeletal, sikap kerja yang berisiko dan status gizi dalam kategori gemuk. Responden yang mengalami keluhan muskuloskeletal dengan masa kerja kurang dari 5 tahun. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa keluhan  muskuloskeletal berhubungan dengan status gizi (p=0,001), masa kerja (p=0,000), dan sikap kerja (p=0,000). Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa sebagian besar penjahit mengalami gangguan muskuloskeletal dan sikap kerja yang  berisiko, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan peregangan setiap 4 jam sekali pada saat bekerja dan perlu melakukan senam punggung setiap hari sebelum tidur.

Abstract

Senam Tai Chi merupakan salah satu aktivitas fisik yang dapat digunakan untuk menangani gangguan muskuloskeletal.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam Tai chi terhadap fleksibilitas dan kekuatan otot ekstremitas pada lansia. Metode penelitian yang digunakanquasi experimentdengan rancangan pretest-posttest non equivalent control group design, menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden kelompok intervensi dan kontrol sebanyak 34 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, dan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar Manual Muscle Testing dan Goniometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum senam, sebagian besar dari responden (58,8%) memiliki fleksibilitas tidak baik, sesudah senam Tai Chi hampir seluruh responden (91,2%) memiliki fleksibilitas baik. Kemudian untuk kekuatan otot ekstremitas sebelum senam, sebagian besar (73,5%) memiliki kekuatan otot rendah dan sesudah senam Tai Chi sebagian besar responden (55,9%) memiliki kekuatan otot tinggi. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 ≤ α (0,05) berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh senam Tai Chiterhadap fleksibilitas dan kekuatan otot ekstremitas pada lansia di Gereja HKBP Bandung Barat. Fleksibilitas dan kekuatan otot antara kelompok perlakuan dengan kelompok kontrol berbeda dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 ≤ α (0,05). Semakin rutin dilakukan senam Tai Chi, maka fleksibilitas dan kekuatan otot pada lansia akan semakin membaik.

Abstract

Women of childbearing age experience many obstacles in choosing contraception. One of them is due to a lack of knowledge about the safety of the method used and the husband is not allowed to solve the problem so that he does not experience pregnancy. The purpose of doing this community service is to provide information to WUS about the family planning program so that WUS have knowledge and understanding of family planning devices so that they can properly spacing pregnancies and manage the number of children they have. The target of this community service activity is women of childbearing age (WUS), totaling 35 people, carried out offline on Wednesday, August 17 2022, 09.00 to 10.00 WIB, at the RW office. This community service activity is carried out with the help of LCD media and power point, the time for giving the material is 30 minutes. To evaluate health promotion activities by providing post-test questions about the material that has been provided by the resource person. The results obtained after being given health promotion were an increase in knowledge of WUS by conducting evaluations by asking questions about the material that had been conveyed by the informants, all participants were able to answer well. Health promotion is expected not only to increase WUS knowledge but also to change behavior so that the knowledge gained can be applied in everyday life.
