Abstract

The risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) is one of the problems that often occurs in manual handling workers with heavy loads in repetitive work movements for a long time. One example of this movement is the manual palletization activity of Bottled Drinking Water products at PT XYZ. Initial observations showed that 18 workers felt limb discomfort while stacking cardboards of 18kg water bottles. This study aims to determine the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) used to measure the lifting load limit for workers; Lifting Index (LI) measurement that can describe the level of safety of lifting loads.The results showed that the load limit in drinking water palletization activities exceeded RWL, while the results of the LI calculation showed that manual palletization activities of bottled drinking water had a score of 6.4 where the LI score according to the safety standards of lifting activities was 1. These results indicate that manual palletization activities are not safe for workers and are at risk of causing MSDs. This is evidenced by the results of the assessment of the level of work posture discomfort using NBM which shows the highest pain score in the lower back of the body. Furthermore, workload measurement results vary from heavy to very heavy. From all parameters measured, it can be seen that the manual palletization activity of Bottled Drinking Water products at PT XYZ is very poor. The recommendation that can be proposed is to change the work system of manual palletization activities to a mechanical or automatic system.

Abstract

Pekalongan City, which has more than 100 tempeh producers, is in Kuripan Kertoharjo Village, making this village known as "Tempeh Village" or “Kampung Tempe”. Thus, there is a lot of potential that can be developed in this sub-district. The large number of tempeh producers in Pekalongan City shows that this is the main source of income. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the characteristics of tempeh producers, the problems they face, and their needs. This research aims to identify the characteristics of tempeh producers in Kuripan Kertoharjo Village, including age, income, production capacity, length of time the business has been running, etc. Apart from that, this research also aims to find out the problems faced by tempeh producers, as well as the needs of tempeh producers so they can develop their businesses. Data collection was carried out through FGD interviews and questionnaires with 30 tempeh producers. Through this research, we can find out what aspects are obstacles for tempeh producers in running their business and can be used as a reference for Local Government Services regarding what can be done to develop Tempeh Village. Finally, in this research, we can find out the characteristics of tempeh producers in Tempeh Village, Pekalongan City which include age, business background, length of time the business has been running, daily soybean needs, marketing methods, and involvement in the community. Apart from that, we also know that the needs of tempeh producers are grouped into four aspects, namely training needs, groups or associations, activities in groups or associations, and development needs. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine market segments, market targets, and market positioning of slimming jelly using the segmentation analysis on healthy food consumer. The respondents used in this study were the consumers who regularly consume healthy food at least once per week within the last two months. The number of samples is 204 respondents. The consumer segmentation is done based on several variables including demographic aspects, motivation, consumption consistency, social tendencies, and attitudes towards new products. The segmentation analysis is carried out using the K-means non-hierarchical clustering method. The method splits the customers into three significantly different clusters at the 0.05 level, namely the adolescent age segment, which has attention to body shape, the adult segment which focus on body weight control, and the adults' segment which are not interested on body weight control. Based on the principle of selective specialization, the target market for slimming jelly is in clusters 1 and 2, with slimming jelly is positioned as a hunger delaying food that claimed to be high in fiber and low in calories so that it is suitable for health and can be used in diet programs.Keywords: healthy food, positioning, segmentation, slimming food, targeting Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan segmen pasar, target pasar, dan positioning produk slimming jelly melalui segmentasi konsumen healthy food. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pengkonsumsi healthy food secara rutin minimal 1 kali per minggu dan terakhir melakukan konsumsi dua bulan yang lalu. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 204 responden. Segmentasi berdasarkan pada variabel dari aspek demografis, motivasi, konsistensi konsumsi, kecenderungan sosial, dan sikap terhadap produk baru. Analisis segmentasi menggunakan metode K-means non hierarchical clustering menghasilkan tiga klaster pasar yang berbeda secara siginifikan pada taraf 0,05, yaitu segmen usia remaja yang memiliki perhatian terhadap bentuk badan, segmen dewasa yang memiliki tujuan manajemen berat badan, dan segmen dewasa yang kurang memiliki motivasi manajemen berat badan. Target pasar slimming jelly berdasarkan prinsip selective specialization adalah pada klaster 1 dan 2 dengan positioning slimming jelly sebagai makanan selingan penunda lapar yang memiliki klaim tinggi serat dan rendah kalori sehingga baik untuk kesehatan dan dapat digunakan untuk membantu program diet.Kata kunci: healthy food, positioning, segmentasi, slimming food, targeting

Abstract

Although the Government of Magelang District has local policies for land protection from degradation, landslide disaster has hampered the construction of the Rehabilitation of Farm Road (RJUT) of organic rice of UPLAND program in 2022 in Bandongan Sub-District and caused loss of farmer’s agricultural land in Sawangan. This research aimed to describe the impacts of land degradation, the relevance of local policy substance to the protection of upland farmland from degradation, identify the vulnerability of natural resources and build the integration concept consisting of resilience of natural resources and agroecology. The research was conducted in Grabag, Sawangan, and Bandongan Sub-Districts. The research method was descriptive qualitative by interviewing 18 farmers and 13 key informants by purposeful sampling and field observations. Qualitative data analysis using QDA Miner software. The results showed that local policies in Regional Regulation Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Development of Competitive and Environmentally Sound Agricultural Products and the Decree of the Head of the Agriculture and Food Service Office of Magelang District Number 188.4/694/SK/20/2021 concerning Determination of Prospective Farmers and Prospective Locations (CPCL) of UPLAND Activities in Magelang District are less relevant to protect land from holistic degradation (quality and ecological due to landslides) causing vulnerability to the resilience of natural resources. Therefore, it needs innovations in the form of public policies that are comprehensive, holistic, and integral through the integration model of natural resource resilience and sustainability of irrigation systems in upland agricultural land protection systems complementing each other.

Abstract

Kemampuan mengakses internet perangkat internet of things (IoT) yang digunakan merupakan elemen penting, untuk beberapa aplikasi. Selain itu, kekuatan sinyal yang diterima (rssi) berdasarkan titik penempatan perangkat IoT yang terletak di dalam ruangan sangat lah menentukan keberhasilan dalam megendalikan dan mengontrolnya. Tingkat kesalahan diamati dengan penentuan posisi berdasarkan informasi rssi dari posisi perangkat saat ini apakah dapat mendeteksi, apakah perangkat yang mentransfer data dari letak atau lokasi yang ditentukan di dalam ruangan menggunakan rssi atau kekutan sinyal yang diterima oleh objek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat hasi seperti berikut Dari fase on-line rata-rata kesalahan jarak estimasi dan standar deviasi mengunakan algoritma k-NN pada sebesar 8.24 m dengans tandar deviasi 10.07 m lebih besar dibandingan dengan algoritma Naïve bayes dari fase on-line rata-rata kesalahan jarak estimasi 6.10 m dan standar deviasi 8.83 m jarak lokasi target karenya prediksi dari hasil pengujian pada algoritma Naïve bayes lebih baik dibanding mengunakan algoritma k-NN.

Abstract

Kabupaten Gunungkidul menjadi penyumbang tertinggi produksi padi di Wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan hasil panen mencapai 191,51 ton per September 2023. Hasil panen padi yang tinggi akan menghasilkan limbah pertanian yang tinggi juga. Potensi jerami padi kurang lebih adalah 1,4 kali dari hasil panennya. Kalurahan Piyaman merupakan salah satu Kalurahan di Kapanewon Wonosari, Kabupaten Gunungkidul yang mayoritas matapencaharian penduduknya pada usahatani pertanian dan peternakan. Kelompok Tani Sedyo Rukun merupakan salah satu kelompok tani di Kalurahan Piyaman yang selama ini hanya fokus pada kegiatan pertanian dan peternakan sedangkan terkait limbah pertanian khususnya jerami masih minim dilakukan. Karena hal tersebut Universitas Gadjah Mada melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi alat dan mesin pertanian untuk mengatasi permasalah tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk menciptakan kemampuan dan kemandirian masyarakat dalam pengolahan limbah pertanian khususnya jerami dengan mengaplikasikan teknologi alat dan mesin pertanian serta mengukur dampak sosialnya. Maka dari itu, untuk menganalisa dampak sosial digunakan metode SROI dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat tersebut. Dari hasil perhitungan SROI diperoleh nilai 1,6 dalam setiap investasi Rp 1,- dari program memberikan dampak sebesar Rp 1,6,-. Nilai Social Return on Investment (SROI) dalam program ini membuktikan bahwa investasi teknologi dan alat mesin pertanian dapat memberikan dampak sosial yang positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

Sistem Integrasi Tanaman Ternak Ikan (SITTI) merupakan bentuk integrasi yang saling berkaitan dan memberikan respon positif berupa aliran material dan energi. Teknologi SITTI dinilai mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat di Desa Sriharjo apabila disinergikan dengan konsep BGC Economy yaitu bio economy, green economy dan circular economy. Tujuan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui penerapan SITTI adalah meningkatkan produktivitas hasil, memberikan nilai tambah pada aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan meningkatkan daya saing produknya, serta efisiensi penggunaan sumberdaya alam dengan meminimalkan limbah dari proses produksi (zero waste) sehingga menghasilkan lingkungan yang lestari dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sriharjo, Kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta dengan sasaran ditujukan kepada kelompok karang taruna tani dan kelompok wanita tani(KWT). Penerapan teknologi SITTI yang terdiri dari subsistem tanaman hortikultura, ternak ayam, budidaya ikan dan budidaya Black Slodier Fly mampu i) meningkatkan produktivitas hasil (prinsip bioeconomy & circular economy) yaitu adanya hasil dari budidaya ayam petelur, ikan lele, tanaman hortikultura dan maggot, ii) memberikan nilai tambah pada aspek ekonomi sosial, dan meningkatkan daya saing produk, setelah dilakukan perhitungan diperoleh nilai BC ratio sebesar 1,73, iii) efisiensi penggunaan sumberdaya alam dengan meminimalkan limbah dari proses produksi (zero waste) dengan memanfaatkan larva maggot BFS untuk mengurai limbah organik menjadi pupuk (prinsip green economy).

Abstract

The working environment in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is considered less than ideal based on the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation Number 70 of 2016 concerning Standards and Requirements for Industrial Working Environment, in relation to temperature, lighting, noise intensity, and humidity. Therefore, an analysis is necessary to improve MSMEs’ ability to create an ideal working environment. This study aimed to analyze and improve working environment ergonomics by focusing on the physical working environment, workers preferences and sensitivities, as well as work environment risks associated with various factors. The case study examined MSMEs in Klaten Regency, Central Java. The methods used included working environment observation, HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control), Kansei engineering, and multiple linear regression (MLR). Specifically, HIRARC was used to assess risks, Kansei engineering to identify workers preferences and sensitivities, and MLR to determine correlations between variables. One of the risky working conditions was observed at the smoking and frying workstation, where the temperature reached 32.81˚C, exceeding the reference value of 31˚C. Lighting levels were recorded at 101.09 lux, below the recommended 200-500 lux. Noise levels measured 68.38 dB, within the acceptable limit of 85 dB, while humidity was 52.63% compared to the reference value of 51.36% ± 5.72%. HIRARC assessment classified the risk level at the smoking and frying workstation as medium to extreme. Furthermore, Kansei engineering identified key perception variables, namely dark vs. light, dirty vs. clean, unpleasant vs. pleasant, stuffy vs. cool, and hot vs. cold. The results showed working environment parameters significantly correlated with HIRARC and Kansei engineering variables, which consequently correlated with HIRARC.

Abstract

Sebuah prototipe atap jemuran cerdas berbasis Arduino dilengkapi dengan sensor hujan, sensor cahaya, dan servo motor guna otomatisasi respons terhadap perubahan cuaca. Sistem ini dirancang untuk menutup atap jemuran secara otomatis saat terdeteksi adanya hujan, sehingga dapat melindungi pakaian atau barang- barang yang digantung dari resiko kerusakan akibat terkena air hujan. Di samping itu, sensor cahaya berperan menyesuaikan posisi atap jemuran sesuai dengan tingkat intensitas cahaya di sekitar, sehingga dapat membuka lebar saat kondisi cerah untuk memaksimalkan proses pengeringan pakaian pada saat pencahayaan matahari memadai. Penerapan mikrokontroller Arduino memberikan fleksibilitas dalam hal pemrograman algoritma cerdas pada sistem, sedangkan motor servo bertugas menggerakkan atap jemuran secara presisi sesuai dengan masukan perintah yang dikirimkan oleh Arduino. Hasil pengujian prototipe menunjukkan kemampuannya dalam merespons perubahan kondisi lingkungan dan cuaca secara akurat, di mana sensor hujan akan memicu penutupan atap begitu terdeteksi adanya tetesan air atau hujan, sementara sensor cahaya akan mengatur tingkat bukaan atap untuk mengoptimalkan penjemuran ketika cahaya matahari cukup terik. Dengan solusi cerdas ini, efisiensi dan efektivitas pemanfaatan atap jemuran dapat ditingkatkan serta perlindungan pakaian dari paparan hujan dapat dijaga secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, competence, and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT. Indo Graha Utama. The research method used is quantitative with an associative research design. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents working at PT. Indo Graha Utama. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS). The results of the study indicate that compensation, competence, and work environment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Additionally, job satisfaction mediates the influence of compensation, competence, and work environment on employee performance. Thus, this study contributes to the understanding of the role of job satisfaction in mediating the influence of organizational factors on employee performance. The results of this study can be used as a reference for improving employee performance through enhancing job satisfaction.
