Abstract

The study intends to prove whether skills training (short courses), such as make up training can provide an effective role in fostering women's entrepreneurial intention.. Based on the latest data from IWAPI (Indonesian Women's Entrepreneurial Association), women have a significant role in contributing to the country's economy through its entrepreneurial activities. it is hoped that later it will provide understanding of how training can foster entrepreneurial intention for women. Path analysis with SPSS is used to test how the direct influence of training on entrepreneurial intentions and the indirect influence of training on entrepreneurial intentions through self-motivation in entrepreneurship. The results explained that the direct effect of skills training on entrepreneurial intentions showed a greater proportion than the indirect effect of skills training on entrepreneurial intentions through self-motivation in entrepreneurship. The effect of skills training with self-motivation of entrepreneurship simultaneously on entrepreneurial intentions shows that the skills training variable is not significant. It occurs because training is carried out in a short time, in which practice makeup skills require regular periodic training and assistance.

Abstract

Bahan baku atau material komposit sebagai alternatif bahan baku non logam dipilih karena memiliki sifat ketahanan korosi yang lebih baik, karakteristik yang dapat dikontrol serta berat yang lebih ringan dan biaya produksi yang murah. Upaya yang dilakukan melalui inovasi desain bahan baku utama komposit yang memiliki keunggulan serta lebih aman dan ramah terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu jenis serat alam yang sangat potensial adalah ampas serat tebu (baggase). Ampas serat tebu merupakan limbah dari proses pengolahan gula yang pemanfaatannya kecil, diperkirakan sebanyak 40 % dari ampas tebu tersebut belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk desain atau rancangan komposisi bahan baku atau material level optimal komposit dari limbah ampas serat tebu sebagai serat penguat utama material komposit dengan kombinasi alternatif bahan baku pendamping berupa serat batang/pelepah pisang dan serat/sabut kelapa sehingga dalam penelitian ini diistilahkan Tree in one of material komposit. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan penerapan metode desain robust (Taguchi) dari indentifikasi variabel penelitian hingga pelaksanaan eksperimen dengan penentuan level faktor kualitas dan ortogonal array yang sesuai serta dengan replikasi 2 kali, Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah desain komposisi level optimal pada eksperimen ke-4 dimana komposisi bahan baku 70%, 10%, 20% ( Matrik + Filler) dengan posisi struktur serat Searah, perekat yang sesuai memakai resin epoxy diperoleh rata–rata kekuatan bending sebesar 8,2404 MPa dan rata-rata kekuatan tarik sebesar 2,992748718 MPa, tentunya perlu dilakukan treatment spesifik untuk penelitian lanjutan yang lebih sempurna agar produksi komposit yang dihasilkan dapat ditingkatkan kualitasnya.

Abstract

Nowadays the existence of women in the world of work is increasing. The phenomenon of women to have a dual role can not be damned. The tendency of women to work raises problems. When working women are faced with the demands of work, while when they are at home women will be faced with domestic roles. In this case working mothers can have different performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the quality of the performance of women workers who have a dual role in the BPJS Employment Gresik office. The method used in this study is qualitative. Informants in this study are mothers who have multiple roles who have 9 children. Based on the results of research and discussion on the quality of performance of women workers who have multiple roles, the researchers came to the conclusion that women workers who have multiple roles still carry out their work well so as to achieve optimal performance

Abstract

Lokasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik ditempatkan di Desa Karangsemanding, Kecamatan Balongpanggang, Kabupaten Gresik. Masyarakat Desa Karangsemanding ini terdiri dari masyarakat yangmayoritas penduduknya sebagai petani, Home Industri pemilik Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) dan karyawan-karyawan pabrik Dari hasil survey dan observasi yang dilakukan dapat kami ambil beberapa sektor penting bahwa di lingkungan masyarakat ini masih memerlukan pembenahan baik dari sektor fisik maupun non fisik. Wujud bantuan tersebut dengan memberikan sosialisasi mengenai Pengolahan Kangkung Menjadi Produk jadi berupa Stick Kangkungyang bahan utamanya adalah Kangkung. Adapun program tersebut yaitu Program Sosialisasi pengelolahan Home Industri Limbah Organik Kangkung ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan tentang pentingnya inovasi dalam dunia wirausahakepada masyarakat khususnya Ibu-ibu PKK Desa Karangsemanding Kecamatan Balongpanggang, Kabupaten Gresik.

Abstract

Progress mundur dan masih banyaknya indikator MDGs Kabupaten Gresik yang belum mencapai target salah satu sebabnya adalah minimnya layanan dan fasilitas yang tersedia khususnya di daerah pedesaan yang yang berada di pesisir. Dan salah satu upaya pertama yang bisa dilakukan adalah mengenal potensi dan permasalahan masyarakat desa setempat, sehingga mengetahui layanan minimum yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini mencoba menggali permasalahan potensi yang ada di Desa di daerah Pesisir dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan apparat desa sebagai respondennya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah penghitungan IPD menggunakan IPD system dan IPD scorecard. Dan Berdasar hasil penelitian IPD di daerah pesisir Kabupaten Gresik tepatnya di Kecamatan Ujungpangkah dan Kecamatan Panceng diketahui bahwa yang termasuk Kategori Desa Berkembang di Kecamatan Ujung Pangkah adalah Desa Pangkah Kulon, Desa Banyu urip, Desa Bolo, Desa Pangkah Wetan, Desa Gosari, Desa Cangaan, Desa Karangrejo, Desa Tanjang awan, Desa Glatik, Desa Ketapang Lor dan Desa Ngemboh. Sedangkan Desa Sekapuk menjadi satu-satunya Desa yang Mandiri di Kecamatan Ujungpangkah. Sementara Desa Kebonagung menjadi satu-satunya Desa Tertinggal di Kecamatan Ujungpangkah. Seluruh Desa yang menjadi lokasi penelitian di Kecamatan Panceng yakni Desa Panceng, Desa Sorowuti, Desa Sumurber, Desa Siwalan, Desa Petung, Desa Banyutengah, dan Desa Campurejo masuk kategori Desa Berkembang. Rata-rata variable yang kondisinya tertinggal di hampir seluruh desa di Kecamatan Ujung Pangkah adalah variable Sarana Olah Raga dan Sarana Transportasi. Sedaangkan variable yang sangat baik rata rata di seluruh desa di Kecamatan Ujung Pangkah adalah infrastruktur energy, Kesehatan masyarakat dan kualitas SDM nya. Di Kecamatan Panceng Variabel Olah raga dan Kemandirian rata-rata kondisinya di tujuh desa penelitian masih kurang baik (tertinggal), sedangkan variable pelayanan Pendidikan, pelayanan Kesehatan, infrastruktur energy, kualitas SDM, Kesehatan masyarakat dan infrastruktur air bersih dan sanitasi sudah cukup baik, khususnya kualitas SDM semua desa sudah mandiri

Abstract

The Village Development Index (IPD) is a measure compiled to assess the level of progress or development of the village.  One of the villages that is important for mapping related to village typology is the coastal village. It is widely known that many villages on the coast that have many shortcomings ranging from cleanliness, sanitation, and important for the empowerment of coastal villages. The results of the study were produced that the Category of Developing Villages in Ujung Pangkah Subdistrict is Pangkah Kulon Village, Banyu urip Village, Bolo Village, Pangkah Wetan Village, Gosari Village, Cangaan Village, Karangrejo Village, Tanjang Awan Village, Glatik Village, Ketapang Lor Village and Ngemboh Village. While Sekapuk Village became the only independent village in Ujungpangkah Subdistrict. While Kebonagung Village became the only village left behind in Ujungpangkah subdistrict. All villages that are research sites in Panceng Subdistrict are Prupuh Village, Sorowuti Village, Sumurber Village, Siwalan Village, Petung Village, Banyutengah Village, Patenan Village, Delegan Village, Ketanen Village and Campurejo Village in the category of Developing Village.

Abstract

The high divorce rate every year in the Gresik area, resulting in many women with single parent status who have multiple roles. Divorce makes the family less qualified and has an impact on the human resources produced, which also decreases. Most children of single parent women have poor quality education. This study aims to analyze how to play a dual role with single parent status in children's education in Sukomulyo Manyar Gresik Village. This type of research is qualitative research. The selection of informants in this study, researchers conducted interviews with 5 (five) single parents, using purposive sampling with several criteria. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data validation technique uses member check. The results of this study indicate that someone who carries out multiple roles with single parent status has very little free time with children. Busy parents work all day resulting in less concern for children in learning activities, but it does not reduce the enthusiasm for single parent women to motivate and encourage their children to realize their future. This research contributes to single parents in order to provide knowledge about the dual roles they face in supporting their child's educational development. This research was only conducted on single parent women who play multiple roles in the Village of Sukomulyo Manyar Gresik

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Corporate Image, Service Quality, Interest Rates and Promotions on Decisions of Taking Home Ownership Loans (KPR) at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Gresik Branch Office. The sample in this study uses accidental sampling based on chance. The size of the sample used was 100 respondents. The analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. Data collection techniques are using questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that corporate image influences credit decision making, Service Quality influences credit leverage decisions, Interest rates affect credit decision making, Promotion affects the decision to take home ownership loans (KPR) at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Gresik Branch Office.

Abstract

Decrease in employee performance cause of burnout due to doing more than one type of work and responsibilities at one time. This study aims to understand burnout (mental fatigue) that is often experienced by employees and the factors that cause it. So that this research can be a reference for readers who experience or want to know burnout. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive research method based on the results of observations and interviews with resource persons in the field and continued the results of previous research. The type of sample used in this research is simple random sampling. The sample in this study were employees and employees of Iron and Steel Retail who found a double job desk (holding more than one task and responsibility). This study shows the impact of mental fatigue experienced by employees due to carrying out several different tasks and responsibilities. These include decreased loyalty, decreased productivity, and job discomfort. Mental fatigue occurs due to the severe stress experienced by a person in carrying out activities, resulting in a feeling of reluctance or not being motivated to carry out activities that are usually done. The results of this study can be used as a reference for managing human resources (employees) in companies to create work comfort and improve the quality of employees' work. This research is limited to company x, for development it is necessary to carry out more in-depth research and involve many companies and employees as the population.

Abstract

The background in this study is that there are many problems that affect employee performance and this is a challenge for companies in managing human resources because the success of a company depends on quality human resources. target. This study aims to test the Effect of Compensation, Work Environment, and Training on the Performance of Production Employees of PT Mestindo Gresik. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was the production employees of PT Mestindo Gresik, amounting to 78 people, while the sampling used the Non Probability Sampling technique using a saturated sample. The reason is because the sampling of the population is less than 100. The sample studied by the researcher is 78 production employees. The analysis technique uses instrument testing, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. For the test tool, the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is used. The results of this study indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
