Abstract

PT. ABC adalah perusahaan yang beroperasi di sektor pembuatan pupuk dan bahan kimia. Laboratorium merupakan lingkungan kerja yang khusus dan memiliki karakteristik yang unik. Di dalam laboratorium, karyawan seringkali dihadapkan pada tugas-tugas yang kompleks dan membutuhkan pemikiran yang intensif. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan karyawan mengalami peningkatan beban kerja mental. Beban kerja mental merupakan perbedaan antara tuntutan beban kerja dari suatu tugas dan kapasitas yang dimiliki. Beban kerja mental adalah evaluasi atau penilaian manusia terhadap batas beban perhatian selama menjalankan tugas secara optimal. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tuntutan beban kerja dari suatu tugas dan kemampuan pekerja dalam menanggapi tugas tersebut. Beban kerja mental lebih menekankan tuntutan mental atau psikologis dibandingkan dengan aspek fisik. Metode NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) adalah instrumen pengukuran subjektif yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi serta menganalisis tingkat beban kerja mental. Berdasarkan perhitungan metode NASA-TLX menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja mental yang tinggi dirasakan karyawan sebanyak 95,00 % dan beban mental yang sangat tinggi sebanyak 5,00% karyawan.

Abstract

Background - Performance can be achieved if the company has good human resources and has high performance, but the performance of employees within an organization or company does not always increase, sometimes the performance of employees in the company also decreases. Employee performance will be very important for PT. Langgeng Jaya Plastindo which relies on the active role of all its Human Resources to improve employee performance. Aim - This study aims to determine the partial effect of leadership, compensation and work discipline on the performance of employees in the production division of PT Langgeng Jaya Plastindo Gresik. Design / Methodology / Approach - This study uses a quantitative method approach. The population in this study, namely PT. Langgeng Jaya Plastindo Gresik. The sample in this study used the Isaac and Michae sample method with a significance level of 5% from a total population of 140, so the sample taken was 100 employees. Data collection techniques using primary data and informant data collection using questionnaires or questionnaire surveys using data instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing (t test and coefficient of determination) with the help of SPSS program. Findings - The results of this study indicate that the variables of Leadership (X1), Compensation (X2) and Work Discipline (X3) each partially have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) the Adjusted R square value of 0.609. This shows that 60.9% of the variation in employee performance variables can be explained by leadership, compensation and work discipline, while the remaining 39.1% can be explained by other factors outside of this study. Research Implication – The results of this study are expected to be input and as additional information for the company in leadership, compensation, and work discipline on employee performance at PT Langgeng Jaya Plastindo. Limitations - The limitation of this study is that it only uses three variables while there are many other factors that can affect employee performance related to the findings of phenomena that may occur in the company.

Abstract

Mental health disorders are not visible from the outside, but their sudden impact can cause unexpected things that can be detrimental to the organization. The aim of this dedication is to strengthen the mental health of PIKGCS members and administrators so that their personality as mothers/wives of PT employees. GCS becomes stronger and tougher, not easily fragile. With a strong personality, you will be able to optimally support your husband's career while creating family peace. The method used in this activity is counseling/seminars. The result of this service is that in the initial session the participants were given an understanding of what mental health is and the importance of mental health for a mother. Mental disorders do not mean crazy, but mental disorders that are not treated immediately can tend to result in mental disorders (insanity). Indications of mental disorders in them include excessive anxiety, stress, lack of self-confidence and depression. The factors that cause a mother to experience these mental disorders are lack of interaction, having excessive expectations about something, no one to support her, work demands, an uncomfortable environment, poor stress management, and not having time for herself. A mother who experiences mental disorders certainly has an impact on the family. So the important things to pay attention to so that mental disorders don't get worse are staying away from toxic environments, taking time for yourself, asking for support from your family, especially your husband, consuming healthy and halal food, and if necessary, consulting a psychologist and developing self-management skills. The self-management skills referred to include time management, spiritual management, physical management, social environmental management, emotional (psychic) management.

Abstract

Background – Mental workload is the difference between the workload demands of a task and capacity. Mental workload is a human evaluation or assessment of the limits of attentional load while carrying out tasks optimally, which is influenced by the workload demands of a task and the worker's capacity to handle the task, especially for students who carry out work activities while studying. Therefore, it is necessary to examine how much mental workload is actually borne by student workers so that the negative impacts it causes can be minimized. Aim – To measure the mental workload of student workers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik using the NASA-TLX method Design / methodology / approach – The research approach used is Quantitative Descriptive. Quantitative data was obtained from the results of questionnaire responses from student workers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik regarding the level of mental workload using the NASA-TLX method. Findings – High mental workload can have a negative impact on a person's mental health, especially for students who work while studying. Mental workload is defined as the difference between task demands and an individual's capacity to handle the task, focusing more on the mental aspect than the physical. Students who work while studying often experience fatigue, lack of time to rest and socialize, and experience sleep disorders and stress which can reduce their academic and work performance. Therefore, it is important to measure and analyze the level of mental workload experienced by student workers in order to reduce its negative impact. The method used to measure mental workload is NASA-TLX (Task Load Index). Conclusion – Student workers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik experience a high mental workload, with the time demand indicator (Temporal Demand/TD) having the highest weight and the level of effort (Effort/EF) getting the highest score. The time requirement (TD) indicator most dominantly influences their mental workload, while the level of frustration (FR) has the lowest influence. Overall, their average mental workload score was in the high category, namely 77.64. Research implication – This research is aimed at students who are studying while working, with the aim of measuring the level of mental load that objects experience. The load in question is a high mental workload, with indicators of time requirements (Temporal Demand/TD), level of effort (Effort/EF) and indicators of time requirements (TD), as well as levels of frustration (Frustration/FR). Limitations – The limitations of this research only include the mental workload variable on the research object (student workers)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is useful in identifying causes and solutions to employee discipline applied in daily work activities. This study processes data from respondents and informants who were asked for information or extracted data. The data processed from the research object is an indicator of employee work discipline with a qualitative descriptive method. Collection techniques with interviews, observation and collection of documentation. The data is analyzed against the problems encountered. The research results obtained from all indicators that affect discipline have been carried out well, but leaders need to improve in giving appreciation. Other factors that cause employees to be late for work are overtime activities and work environment or congested road access. The solution that can be done is by carrying out direct supervision or by utilizing technology (systems) that can monitor employee activities from the daily reports that employees work on. Conditions must be created in a comfortable work environment by improving road access, transferring attendance media (fingerprints) near the parking area. Continuous work evaluation is the provision of direction and motivation and the provision of periodic sanctions in order to achieve a higher level of discipline and to have a positive impact on the company.

Abstract

Keberhasilan perusahaan secara keseluruhan seringkali dipengaruhi oleh sejauh mana karyawan dapat mematuhi aturan, norma, dan nilai-nilai perusahaan. Artikel ini mengenai analisis Disiplin Kerja Karyawan pada PT.XYZ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan dan solusi mengatasi masalah kedisplinan kerja pada karyawan PT.XYZ. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan data pendukung lainnya. Dengan pengambilan sampel terdapat 5 orang narasumber yang dijadikan sumber informasi. Setelah melakukan analisis dan pembahasan masalah, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa disiplin kerja karyawan rendah dapat dilihat dari tindakan indisipliner dengan datang terlambat saat jam masuk kerja, pulang terlebih dahulu sebelum jam pulang kerja, dan ada juga karyawan yang tidak masuk kerja tanpa memberikan penjelasan yang sah.

Abstract

PT Semen Indonesia Logistik, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang transportasi darat, distribusi bahan bangunan, produksi bahan tambang, dan perdagangan barang industri. Setiap perusahaan akan menghadapi tantangan dalam pengembangan karir karyawan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah kegagalan dalam proses seleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya peningkatan jumlah kegagalan dan solusi dalam mengatasi kegagalan seleksi pengembangan karir. Penelitian yang melibatkan 5 informan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci seperti tidak adanya analisis pengembangan karir perusahaan, kompetensi diri karyawan yang tidak memadai, dan kurangnya pelatihan yang mendukung. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, perusahaan dapat mengambil manfaat dengan menerapkan analisis pengembangan karir yang menyeluruh, meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan, dan mengintegrasikan program pelatihan yang relevan. Langkah-langkah ini dapat meningkatkan proses seleksi karyawan, mendorong kemajuan karir yang sukses bagi individu dan perusahaan.

Abstract

This Based on the research results, the performance of UPT teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Gresik is less than optimal, which can affect work discipline, which can be seen from the recap of teacher absences, many teachers give permission during the teaching and learning process, and in teaching there are teachers who only give assignments after which they are left alone. just without supervision. And the work environment at UPT SMP Negeri 11 Gresik is still lacking in supporting the teaching and learning process between teaching staff and students, such as: a lack of LCD projectors in each room, and the work space for teaching staff is not well lit, the layout of office desks between teaching staff is also does not have partitions and there is a lack of air conditioning in the classroom. The aim of this research is to analyze whether there is a partial influence of work discipline, work motivation and work environment on the performance of teachers at UPT SMP Negeri 11 Gresik. The number of samples used in this research was 39 respondents, the method used was the Saturated Sampling method. The data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis proves that the work discipline and work environment variables have no effect, while work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of teachers at UPT SMP Negeri 11 Gresik.

Abstract

Mental workload is a human evaluation or assessment of the limits of attention load during optimal task performance, which is influenced by the workload demands of a task and the worker's capacity in handling the task. Various risks of studying while working can occur, such as fatigue due to too much studying and working, lack of time to relax and socialize, lack of time for needed sleep, and others. The indicator that has the most dominant influence on the mental workload of working students at the Faculty of Economics, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik is the Time Needs Indicator (Temporal Demand/TD). The impact of the high mental workload experienced by working students often causes them to experience fatigue and lack of focus in attending lectures. In addition, the increase in lecture assignments also results in an increase in their burden or responsibility so that it more or less interferes with performance achievement. Therefore, the purpose of this study is so that the object can be more aware of the importance of self-management strategies for mental processing. The expected impact is so that the results of this activity can be used as a reference for compiling self-management strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja di PT XYZ menggunakan metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) sebagai dasar perencanaan kebutuhan tenaga kerja. Fokus penelitian terletak pada tiga departemen yang terindikasi mengalami kelebihan tenaga kerja, yaitu Department of Procurement, Unit Billing Department of Corporate Finance, dan Department of Operational Logistic. Metode FTE digunakan untuk mengukur keseimbangan antara jumlah tenaga kerja dan beban kerja yang ada, sehingga perusahaan dapat mengidentifikasi kebutuhan tenaga kerja secara objektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ketidakseimbangan antara jumlah tenaga kerja dengan volume pekerjaan yang tersedia, yang berpotensi menurunkan efisiensi operasional dan meningkatkan biaya tenaga kerja. Sebagai solusi, disarankan strategi rotasi tenaga kerja, pelatihan ulang (reskilling), diversifikasi bisnis, dan pengurangan jam kerja untuk mengelola kelebihan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi perusahaan dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait perencanaan tenaga kerja dan menjadi referensi di bidang manajemen sumber daya manusia.
