Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of critical discourse analysis in the Representation of Indonesian Leaders Post Covid-19. This study aims to reveal the representation of the Indonesian government after covid-19 through covid-19 news. This research method uses a critical paradigm that focuses on multilevel methods. Discourse analysis in research also focuses on the ideology carried by online media. The approach in this study uses an approach developed by van Dijk. Research data is sourced from COVID-19 news throughout 2020. The accuracy of this research is also maintained because it uses layered search sources according to the critical discourse analysis approach in accordance with Fairclough's theory. The results of the discourse analysis show that CNN and BCC have similarities in representing the handling of Covid-19 in Indonesia, namely: the Indonesian government, under Jokowi's leadership, is not able to handle Covid-19 properly. From the point of view of critical discourse analysis, such representations contain partiality. This strengthens van Dijk's (2013) opinion that a text contains dominance and partisanship. In fact, according to Holmes & Castañeda (2016), representation can be considered as truth. The representation provided by CNI and BCI is also motivated by social elements, as stated by Fairclough (2013) that discourse is always related to social elements, including power, ideology, institutions, and other identities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengaruh Iklim Kerja dan gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Loyalitas Kerja Pegawai LLDIKTI Wilayah-I Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada LLDIKTI Wilayah-I Sumatera Utara dengan populasi dan sampel sebanyak 62 Pegawai. Instrumen Penelitian ini adalah angket/kuisioner dengan model skala likert. Uji persyaratan dilakukan untuk menguji normalitas. Teknik analisis data digunakan adalah teknik Regresi Berganda pada taraf signifikansi a = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Iklim Kerja (X1) berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Kerja Pegawai LLDIKTI Wilayah-I Sumatera Utara t hitung lebih besar dari pada t tabel (2,653 ? 1.670) dengan nilai signifikan 0,000. Sedangkan gaya Kepemimpinan (X2) berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Kerja Pegawai LLDIKTI Wilayah-I Sumatera Utara dengan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari pada t tabel (6,625 ? 1.670) dengan nilai signifikan 0.0001. Berdasarkan output SPSS diketahui bahwa nilai R squared adalah 0.533 artinya variansi variabel Loyalitas dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Iklim Kerja dan Gaya Kepemimpinan sebesar 53,3 persen, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 55,3 persen dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model ini. Dalam arti lain masih ada variabel independen lain yang mempengaruhi Loyalitas Kerja.

Abstract

Abstract. In the world of adult education entering the digital era, where the learning process is recommended to reduce traditional learning methods such as lectures and switch to using digital media following the rapid development of the times. In relation to the function of learning media in the world of education, several things can be emphasized, namely as a tool to make learning more effective, accelerate the learning process, improve the quality of teaching and learning processes or activities, and make it easier for educators to provide and deliver learning materials to students. This article aims at making products in the form of learning media by utilizing the development of the digital era through website media on ICT-based Islamic Education subjects for students. Here it is explained how to make a website in the form of wordpress easily for teachers to pour material so that students can also easily access learning materials using the internet network. And also how to process a post on the website for Islamic Religious Education learning materials. The post uses pictures and videos that can attract students to be more enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically assess the impact of Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on Profitability (ROA) for banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2023. The research employs purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 7 companies with 10 years of data. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data, analyzing panel data through E-views software version 12.0. Methods include multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, panel data regression analysis, coefficient of determination, T-tests, and F-tests. The findings indicate that, individually, Non-Performing Loans (NPL) have a significant negative effect on Return On Assets (ROA), while Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) significantly impacts Return On Assets (ROA). Additionally, both Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) have a significant combined effect on Return On Assets (ROA).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of training and wages on the work motivation of PUPR employees in Binjai City, North Sumatra. This research was carried out at the Binjai City PUPR Office with a population and sample of 42 employees. This research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Requirement tests were carried out to test normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity tests. The data analysis technique used was the Multiple Regression technique at a significance level of a = 0.05. The results of this research show that training has a positive and significant influence on work motivation where tcount is greater than ttable with a significant value lower than 0.05. Meanwhile, wages also have a positive and significant influence on work motivation with a tcount value greater than ttable with a significant value smaller than 0.05. Based on the SPSS output, it is known that the R squared value contributes an influence of 28.7%, meaning that the variance in the work motivation variable can be explained by the training and wage variables, while the remainder is explained by other variables which are not analyzed in this model. This means that there are still other independent variables that influence work motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keteladanan moral agama seperti anak mengucapkan ssalam ketika masuk kelas, bersalaman dengan guru ketika bertemu, jujur ketika meengerjakan tugas mandiri dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Keteladan ini sangat penting untuk anak usia dini karena sifat tersebut akan tertanam sejak dini dan terbawah sampai dewasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitataif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun yang menjadi sumber data primer adalah kepada sekolah, guru kelas dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian yaitu menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai agama dan moral melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar sangat efektif. Sebagai bukti bahwa proses penanaman nilai-nilai agama dan moral itu efektif yaitu anak didik sudah mampu menyebut ciptaan Allah, mampu mengerjakan ibadah sehari-hari, menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, mengenal hari-hari besar keagamaan, berperilaku sopan dan jujur, serta menolong orang tua, pendidik dan teman. Disamping faktor pengaruh keluarga, faktor lingkungan masyarakat dan pergaulan anak juga mempengaruhi perkembangan moral keagamaan anak, pada perkembangannya terkadang anak lebih percaya kepada teman dekatnya dari pada pada orang tuanya, terkadang juga lebih mematuhi orang-orang yang dikaguminya seperti; gurunya, artis favoritnya, dan sebagainya. Keluarga dengan moral keagamaan yang baik dan lingkungan masyarakat yang baik, secara teoritis akan berpengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan moral keagamaan yang baik pada anak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Discipline and Motivation on Employee Performance at PLTU Pangkalan Susu Sejahtera. The research was conducted at PLTU Pangkalan Susu Sejahtera with a total of 48 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, so the sample size was 48 respondents. The results of the validity and reliability tests indicate that each question item produced from the questionnaire data is valid and reliable. The data quality tests, namely the normality test, show that the data is normally and significantly distributed. Furthermore, the multicollinearity test also indicates no multicollinearity, as the Tolerance value is >10 and the VIF value is <10. Meanwhile, the heteroscedasticity test shows that the data is not homogeneous, meaning it does not form a specific pattern and is evenly spread throughout the area. The results of the hypothesis test show that, based on the t-test, the variables that influence Employee Performance are Compensation Motivation and Discipline, both of which have an effect. The detailed t-test results are as follows: For variable X1, the t-count is 6.604, while the t-table is 2.014, so t-count (6.604) > t-table (2.014). This is also supported by a significant value of 0.003 (0.003 < 0.050), meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which implies that Discipline has a significant effect on Employee Performance. For variable X2, the t-count is 4.452, while the t-table is 2.014, so t-count (4.452) > t-table (2.014). This is also supported by a significant value of 0.004 (0.004 < 0.05), meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which implies that Motivation has a significant effect on Employee Performance. The F-test result shows that F-count is 11.021, which is greater than the F-table value of 3.20. This is further supported by a significance level of 0.003, which is smaller than α = 0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Discipline and Work Motivation (simultaneously) have an effect on Employee Performance. The R-square value is 62.2%, which means that the independent variables in this study contribute significantly, while the remaining 37.8% is influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

Abstrak. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Price (X1) and Product Quality (X2) on Consumer Purchasing Decisions (Y) at Warkop Sutara Sukamulya Tangerang Selatan. The method used in this study is quantitative with a quantitative descriptive approach and the population in this study was 97 consumers. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling using a questionnaire technique method with a sample of 97 respondents. The analysis tool used was Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test (Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Autocorrelation Test, Heteroscedasticity Test), Simple Linear Regression Analysis Test, Multiple Linear Analysis Test, Coefficient Analysis Test, Determination Coefficient Test, Hypothesis Test and Simultaneous Test. The results of the Price variable significantly influenced the Purchasing Decision with a t-count value of 1.824> t-table 1.661 and a Sig. value <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). The results of the Product Quality variable on Purchasing Decisions with a t count of 2.715> t table 1.661 and a Sig. value <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). The results of the Price and Product Quality variables simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing interest with a f count of 3.910> 3.09 and a Sig. value <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). The results of the study concluded that there was a positive and significant influence both partially and simultaneously between the role of Price and Product Quality on Consumer Purchasing Decisions at Warkop Sutara Sukamulya Tangerang Selatan Keywords: Price, Product Quality, and Purchasing Decisions

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Brand Image and Digital Marketing on Consumer Purchase Interest in Nestle Products (Case Study of Brastagi Supermarket Tiara). This study was conducted at Brastagi Supermarket Tiara with a population and sample of 100 consumers. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The requirement test was carried out to test normality. The data analysis technique used was the Multiple Regression technique at a significance level of a = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that Brand Image (X1) has a significant effect on Consumer Purchase Interest in Nestle Products at Brastagi Supermarket Tiara, the calculated t is greater than the t table (2.903 ˃ 1.660) with a significant value of 0.000. While Digital Marketing (X2) has a significant effect on Consumer Purchase Interest in Nestle Products at Brastagi Supermarket Tiara with a calculated t value greater than the t table (2.678 ˃ 1.660) with a significant value of 0.000. Based on the output of SPSS Version 25, it is known that the Rsquared value is 0.177, meaning that the variance of the Purchase Interest variable can be explained by the Brand Image and Digital Marketing variables by 17.7%, while the rest is explained by other variables not included in this model. In other words, there are still other independent variables that affect Purchase Interest.
