Abstract

Pelatihan  ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman baru, dan melatih guru-guru BK di Kota Mataram dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan kecemasan yang mendalam pada klien. Kecemasan yang masih terjadi pada masyarakat karena berbagai kali di timpa bencana. Berbagai terapi dalam Bimbingan dan  Konseling dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam mengatasi kondisi tersebut, salah satu bentuk terapi yang bisa digunakan adalah terapi ekspressif.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap, 1) tahap pra pelatihan yaitu merancang model materi dan komunikasi dengan MGBK, 2) tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan dan ; 3) tahap evaluasi yaitu tanggapan peserta terhadap pelatihan.  Hasil kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme, keaktifan, kesungguhan dan ketertarikan peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini. Evaluasi hasil menunjukkan bahwa para guru mampu memahami, merancang dan melaksanakan expressive art therapy sebagai sebuah pemahaman baru dalam penerapan pendekatan dalam Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam mereduksi kecemasan pada diri sendiri dan kliennya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal and describe how the self-efficacy of mathematics teachers in Cianjur towards the dynamics of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in Cianjur Regency. The methodology used is descriptive quantitative method. The technique of collecting data is through questionnaires given by purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics which do not aim to make conclusions about the entire population but rather help understand the details of the sample. The results showed that the overall self-efficacy of Mathematics Teachers in Cianjur was in the moderate category. Likewise, four of the seven constructs on teacher self-efficacy are Mathematics Knowledge Self-efficacy (KS), Instructional Self-efficacy (IS), Outcome Expectancy (OE) and Technology Literacy (TL) in the medium category. This means that teachers believe they have the ability to carry out their duties in the midst of a pandemic even though they still need development related to the four constructs. However, the other constructs namely Motivational Self-efficacy (MS), Engagement Self-efficacy (ES), and Disciplinary (as in classroom management) Self-efficacy (DS) are in the high category. This condition shows that teachers are able to provide motivation, students can be actively involved in learning and learning continues to be carried out conducive even though learning is carried out in the midst of a pandemic condition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes and describe the epistemological obstacle in students completing the math problem's operation based on cognitive style. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The epistemological obstacle analyzed in this study are misconceptions, procedural errors, and technical errors, while the cognitive styles categorized in this study are field dependent and field independent. In this study, we processed data analysis using qualitative descriptive statistics and through three activity lines, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or drawing conclusions, and used to get descriptive answers based on test data and interviews. The Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) test is used to determine students' cognitive style categories who will be categorized as independent fields and dependent fields. While the test of the mathematical story matter of the operating material calculates the fractions analyzed by the epistemological obstacle. We interviewed to gather information from the study subjects on an epistemological obstacle that occurred in students in solving mathematical story problems based on cognitive style. The research results revealed that students with independent fields and dependent fields still often make misconceptions, procedural errors, and technical errors in solving mathematical problem material in fractional calculation operations.   Keywords: Learning Obstacle, Epistemological Obstacle, Cognitive Style, Field Independent, Field Dependent

Abstract

This research is a quantitative correlational study which aims to determine the contribution of students' mathematical creative and critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems in building materials. The sample of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Warunggunung in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year totaling 30, consisting of 8 male and 22 female who were determined by random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire of mathematical critical thinking skills, mathematical creative thinking skills and mathematical problem solving skills that had been tested for validity and reliability. The prerequisite test used is the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method, the multicollinearity test and the heteroscedasticity test. Data analysis using simple and multiple linear regression analysis with a significant level of 5%. hypothesis testing using t-test. The results that obtained: 1) there is a contribution of critical thinking skills to problem solving abilities, and 2) there is a contribution of creative thinking skills to problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze students’ mathematical creative thinking ability in terms of cognitive style and gender. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the subject of this study were 4 students, consisting of 1 male student with a reflective cognitive style, 1 male student with an Impulsive cognitive style, 1 female student with a reflective cognitive style, and 1 female students with Impulsive cognitive style. The instruments in this study were the Matching Familiar Figure Test (MFFT) and mathematical creative thinking skills. Data analysis in this study is by data reduction and categorization, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The triangulation technique was used to validate the data by comparing the test results of the subject’s mathematical creative thinking ability with the interview. The conclusion of this study is that male gender subjects (namely S1 and S3), both reflective and impulsive cognitive styles are more able to think more flexibly by providing some prism netting images or some correct answers when solving math problems than female gender subjects ( namely S2 and S4) with reflective and impulsive cognitive style. Meanwhile, female gender subjects with impulsive cognitive style (S4) can provide detailed answers and have better accuracy than male gender subjects (S1 and S3)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe students’ mathematical communication skills during online learning in terms of learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic and gender. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 6 samples consisting of 1 male subject with high learning motivation, 1 female subject with high learning motivation, 1 male subject with moderate learning motivation, 1 female subject with moderate learning motivation, 1 male subject with low learning motivation and 1 female subject with low learning motivation. The instrument in this study used a learning motivation questionnaire and a test of mathematical communication skills. Data analysis was carried out, namely data categorization and reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The triangulation technique is carried out by comparing the results of the subject’s communication ability test with the interview as a test of the validity of the data. The conclusion of this study, in total communication skills both oral and written, subjects with moderate and low learning motivation, both male and female, were better than subjects with high learning motivation, both male and female. Mathematical communication skills both oral and in writing, female gender subjects are better than male gender subjects

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan epistemologi peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal aritmatika sosial yang ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Metode penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan purposive sampling dengan subjek 6 peserta didik terdiri dari 1 peserta didik laki-laki bergaya belajar visual, 1 peserta didik perempuan bergaya belajar visual, 1 peserta didiki laki-laki bergaya belajar auditorial, 1 peserta didik perempuan bergaya belajar auditorial, 1 peserta didik laki-laki bergaya belajar kinestetik, dan 1 peserta didik perempuan bergaya belajar kinestetik. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa angket gaya belajar dan tes aritmatika sosial. Analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu kategorisasi dan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Teknik triangulasi dilakukan dengan melakukan keabsahan data yaitu membandingkan hasil tes aritmatika sosial subjek dengan wawancaranya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah subjek bergaya belajar auditorial bergender laki-laki maupun perempuan lebih sedikit mengalami hambatan epistemologi daripada subjek bergaya belajar visual bergender laki-laki maupun perempuan dan subjek bergaya belajar kinestetik bergender laki-laki maupun perempuan. Hambatan epistemologi yang dialami subjek bergender perempuan lebih sedikit daripada subjek bergender laki-laki.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik berdasarkan tipologi kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus dan gender. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik Purposive Sampling digunakan untuk memilih 8 subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 2 subjek sanguinis, 2 subjek koleris, 2 subjek melankolis, 2 subjek plegmatis dengan gender yang berbeda dari masing-masing kepribadian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, tes, dan wawancara. Teknik triangulasi yang dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan hasil wawancara. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, sanguinis laki-laki lebih baik dari sanguinis perempuan dalam aspek pemahaman masalah, koleris laki-laki dapat lebih baik dibandingkan koleris perempuan mengenai aspek menjelaskan dan memeriksa kebenaran jawaban yang diperoleh sedangkan untuk aspek lain koleris perempuan lebih baik daripada koleris laki-laki, melankolis laki-laki lebih baik dari melankolis perempuan dalam aspek menjelaskan dan memeriksa kebenaran jawaban yang diperoleh sedangkan melankolis perempuan sangat baik dalam aspek membuat/menyusun model matematika, plegmatis perempuan lebih baik dari plegmatis laki-laki dalam aspek menunjukkan pemahaman masalah dan membuat atau menyusun model matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan aplikasi bandara matematika berbasis Android untuk siswa tingkat SMP, serta mengetahui kualitas produk aplikasi mobile learning yang telah dihasilkan sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4D. Tahapannya ada 4 tahap, yaitu: 1) Define (pendefinisian), 2) Design (perancangan), 3) Develop (pengembangan), dan 4) Disseminate (penyebarluasan). Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Media yang dikembangkan diuji coba publik dengan 48 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan apikasi bandara matematika berbasis Android yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dalam aspek kualitas tampilan 87,5% dengan kriteria sangat baik, aspek tulisan sebesar 83,33% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak sebesar 89,06% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Penilaian ahli materi dalam aspek materi sebesar 88,09% dengan kriteria sangat baik, aspek pembelajaran sebesar 87,50% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan aspek evaluasi sebesar 75% dengan kriteria cukup. Uji coba publik menggunakan google form didapatkan hasil kualitas aplikasi dalam aspek kualitas tampilan sebesar 82,90% dengan kriteria baik, aspek tulisan sebesar 86,98% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak sebesar 86,40% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan data menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi bandara matematika berbasis Android pada materi bangun datar sederhana layak digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran matematika di tingkat SMP.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the type of self-efficacy and personality of extrovert s and introverts. This discussion focuses on the basic theory, definitions, roles that exist at the elementary school, junior high school, high school and college. The research method chosen in this research is a systematic literature study. Collecting data obtained from the Google Schoolar database using the Publish or Perish application. Self-efficacy as self-confidence to be able to complete a task and can improve performance that affects various aspects of life, one of which is in the process of learning mathematics. The type of person seen in several versions depending on the theory of who visited. But basically every human being has one personality type that stands out. The personality type possessed by students can reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the student. So that by knowing one of the personality types possessed by students, teachers can maximize self-efficacy in students to help the mathematics learning process. The results of this study can contribute to further research for researchers who compile research on this issue
