Abstract

Gereja sebagai bagian dari masyarakat juga terpanggil untuk terlibat dalam upaya mengatasi permasalahan yang sedang terjadi di sekitarnya. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan bahwa pelayanan kristiani secara komprehensif yaitu pelayanan holistik adalah sangat relevan dan dibutuhkan sebagai jawaban untuk mewujudkan Injil Yesus Kristus menjadi realitas dan sekaligus dapat mengentaskan persoalan atau kondisi masyarakat di mana gereja berada. Pelayanan holistik adalah sebuah paham akan peranan gereja dalam lingkup sosial, yakni pengontekstualisasian Injil Yesus Kristus pada masalah konkret yang terjadi di sekitar gereja. Pelayanan holistic sebagai upaya untuk merealisasikan pengajaran Alkitab ke dalam praksis, yang tentunya hal ini berlaku di tengah-tengah kondisi dan situasi masalah konkret di sekitar gereja.Berdasarkan kajian biblika khususnya pemberitaan Injil Sinoptik mengenai pelayanan Tuhan Yesus, tampak sangat jelas bahwa Ia tidak memisahkan (dualisme) antara Pemberitaan Injil dan kepedulian social. Pelayanan-Nya tidak hanya focus pada Pemberitaan Injil semata, yaitu penobatan seseorang menjadi murid-Nya untuk memperoleh keselamatan jiwa, namun bersifat holistik, yakni juga memerhatikan kebutuhan sosial. Seyogyianya pelayanan gereja masa kini pun juga holistic (utuh; menyeluruh) seperti yang telah dilakukan oleh Tuhan Yesus.

Abstract

Tulisan ini hendak menjelaskan mengenai konsep penginjilan, yang terdiri dari enam pokok bahasan, yaitu: landasan teologis penginjilan, pengertian penginjilan, hakikat penginjilan, motivasi penginjilan, pentingnya penginjilan dan terakhir tujuan penginjilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dengan penyajian deskriptif. Penginjilan adalah memberitakan tentang karya Kristus yang sudah mati karena dosa-dosa manusia, dikuburkan dan dibangkitkan pada hari yang ketiga (1 Korintus 15:3-4). Yesus Kristus adalah satu-satunya jalan keselamatan bagi umat manusia. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penginjilan tetap relevan dan mutlak dilakukan dengan bijak serta tulus oleh setiap pengikut Kristus dengan tujuan supaya setiap orang dapat menerima Yesus Kristus sebagai Tuhan dan Juruselamat, dan beroleh keselamatan. Keselamatan harus diterima secara pribadi, artinya respon yang diberikan bersifat pribadi terhadap berita Injil.

Abstract

Character is something that is very important for human progress, both individually and in a nation. This article motivated by the decline of the character of society that appears in the rampant crime, anarchism, vigilante, radicalism, hatred, intolerance, disrespect, terrorism, injustice which is causing violence in various human relationships. Individual and social clashes occurred which are always based on the society background, such as ethnicity, religion and social condition. It cannot be denied if it is said that the root of all this is caused by character problem. Character influences ethical and moral judgment and decision making. By this context, Christian families are called to participate in building the nation through education in family. Christian families become character educators for their children. This article aims to describe seven virtues main, namely compassion, empathy, self-mastery, respect, tolerance, fairness, and patriotism to build child Christian character.  AbstrakKarakter adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi kemajuan manusia, baik secara individual maupun suatu bangsa. Tulisan ini dimotivasi oleh merosotnya karakter masyarakat yang nampak dalam maraknya tindakan kejahatan, anarkhis, main hakim sendiri, radikalisme, kebencian, intoleransi, rasa tidak hormat, terorisme, ketidakadilan, sehingga menyebabkan membudayanya kekerasan dalam berbagai relasi. Terjadi perbenturan-perbenturan  individual dan social yang masih selalu terkait dengan latar  belakang masyarakat, seperti etnis, agama dan keadaan social. Tidak dapat disanggah bila dikatakan akar penyebab semua itu disebabkan oleh problem karakter. Karakter memengaruhi pertimbangan dan pengambilan keputusan etis dan moral. Dalam konteks inilah keluarga Kristen dipanggil untuk turut serta membangun bangsa melalui pendidikan di keluarga. Keluarga Kristen menjadi pendidik karakter bagi anak-anaknya. Tulisan ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan tujuh kebajikan utama, yaitu belas kasih, empati, penguasaan diri, rasa hormat, toleransi, adil, dan cinta tanah air, untuk membangun karakter Kristiani anak.

Abstract

Humans need other people as social creatures. Therefore, humans need to establish relationships and care for them to remain harmonious is a challenge. The fact is still found conflicts or clashes in society caused by differences in the background such as SARA and other social conditions. The purpose of this article is to provide insight into the understanding of who our fellow humans are according to the Lord Jesus or the Bible, in order to build harmonious and constructive social relations without distinguishing one another. Based on the theological study of the parable of the generous Samaritan delivered by the Lord Jesus in the Gospel of Luke 10: 25-37, Christians are called to be able to build relationships with others without making discrimination about their backgrounds. Christians should everywhere and at any time appear as a generous Samaritan to others, not just for the common good, but even more as a form of witness to the name of the Lord Jesus. AbstrakManusia membutuhkan orang lain sebagai makhluk sosial. Sebab itu, manusia perlu menjalin hubungan dan merawatnya agar tetap harmonis merupakan tantangan.  Faktanya masih dijumpai konflik-konflik atau perbenturan di masyarakat yang disebabkan oleh perbedaan latar belakang seperti SARA dan keadaan sosialnya lainnya. Tujuan artikel ini memberikan wawasan pemahaman mengenai siapakah sesama manusia menurut Tuhan Yesus atau Alkitab, guna membangun hubungan sosial yang harmonis dan konstruktif tanpa membedakan seorang akan yang lain. Berdasarkan kajian teologis perumpamaan tentang orang Samaria yang murah hati yang disampaikan Tuhan Yesus di dalam Injil Lukas 10:25-37 ini orang Kristen dipanggil untuk dapat membangun terciptanya hubungan dengan sesama tanpa membeda-bedakan latar belakang yang melekat di dalamnya. Hendaknya orang Kristen di mana pun dan kapan pun tampil sebagai seorang Samaria yang murah hati bagi sesama, bukan sekadar untuk kebaikan bersama, tetapi terlebih lagi sebagai wujud kesaksian bagi nama Tuhan Yesus.

Abstract

Abstract; The discussion of the preaching of the gospel cannot be separated from the doctrine of the supremacy of Christ as the only way of salvation. In the context of a pluralist Indonesian society, the author tries to give an understanding of the supremacy of Christ and its relevance to the preaching of the Gospel based on John 14:6 so that Christians are not influenced by pluralism. Through the exegetical approach to the text of the Gospel of John 14:6, it is obtained the meaning of the supremacy of Christ which is stated by John that He is the only way of salvation or the true Savior. This is a relevant message to be expressed in the ministry of preaching the gospel. Abstrak; pembahasan mengenai pemberitaan Injil tidak dapat dipisahkan dari doktrin tentang supremasi Kristus sebagai satu-satunya jalan keselamatan. Dalam konteks masyarakat Indonesia yang pluralis, penulis mencoba untuk memberi pemahaman tentang supremasi Kristus dan relevansinya bagi pemberitaan Injil berdasarkan Yohanes 14:6 sehingga umat Kristen tidak terpengaruh pluralisme. Melalui pendekatan eksegetikal pada teks Injil Yohanes 14:6 tersebut diperoleh makna tentang supremasi Kristus yang dinyatakan Yohanes bahwa Dia adalah satu-satunya jalan keselamatan atau Juruselamat sejati. Hal ini menjadi berita yang relevan untuk dinyatakan dalam pelayanan pemberitaan Injil.

Abstract

This paper is intended to describe the psychological dynamics of adolescents living in orphanages. How are the psychological dynamics of adolescents in living their adolescence without direct guidance and affection from their parents. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there were significant differences in the psychological dynamics of adolescents living in orphanages because they had to be entrusted by parents with adolescents living in an orphanage because of their own desires. Psychologically, adolescents who are forced to live in orphanages tend to close themselves off from their environment. Meanwhile, adolescents who live in homes because of their own desires, they tend to be more open to their environment. In addition, the age factor when they enter the orphanage environment also affects their psychological dynamics. Those who enter the orphanage when they are children tend to be more adaptable. Conversely, those who enter when they are teenagers tend to have more difficulty adapting. Therefore, it is hoped that the management of the orphanage can understand the psychological dynamics of adolescents and their struggles, so that it can help them to live adolescence properly, even without the presence of their biological parents.

Abstract

It is undeniable that the death of biological parents can affect the emotional development of children. The purpose of this study is to reveal the reality of the emotional development of orphaned adolescents at the Dorkas Sidoarjo Orphanage. To answer the purpose of the author uses a literature study research method in a phenomenological perspective. The findings of this study there are two factors that influence the emotional development of adolescents. The internal factor is the age when teenagers face the death of one or both of their parents, which greatly affects their emotional development: feelings of worthlessness, anxiety and depression arise and some even fall into juvenile delinquency who deal with the police. The external factor is spiritual development and is also supported by a conducive atmosphere full of kinship in the orphanage which has a positive impact on emotional development.

Abstract

The organization is a forum for each institution and in certain fields to be able to create and implement every activity program. In the process of forming and implementing an activity, of course the organization uses management to organize and manage everything that is done through the existing organization. One of them is an organization in the church. The church uses management to manage and organize every activity it creates. Management carried out in the church is applied in various fields according to the needs of the church through a program created. One of them is management in the decisions made in the church. This management helps the pastor and the board or board that is there to be able to determine the best decision. In addition, through management in making decisions, the pastor and the existing board or council can resolve conflicts. However, until now there are still many churches that do not apply management in making decisions in various activities and fields in the church, so that many churches when they are still experiencing various conflicts without any good decisions. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to know the things that must be done in the application of management in decision making in the church. The method used in this writing is a qualitative descriptive method. From the writing of this article, the results obtained are that the pastor and church administrators or councilors can apply management in decision-making in the church to deal with existing conflicts and through a meeting.

Abstract

Marriage is a place that God has ordained for married couples to express their sexual life. Premarital sex is a form of violation of God's decree. This study aims to determine how much influence premarital sex behavior on harmony in the family at GBT Christ Alfa Omega Semarang. To answer the research objectives, the researcher used correlational quantitative research by taking a sample of 35 people who had attended premarital counseling and were married. The results of the study found that the variable X (premarital sex) had an effect on the variable Y (family harmony) in the medium category. However, the results of the linearity test showed that the data was not linear, so the correlational hypothesis test using a nonparametric test showed that there was no significant effect between premarital sex on harmony in the family after following premarital guidance.
