Abstract

Post-pandemic fiscal constraints within the BASAJAN (Banda Aceh, Sabang, and Jantho, Aceh Besar) economic corridor require precise, evidence-based policies to prevent inefficient public investment. This study maps sectoral economic structures and structural transformation to develop a spatial policy matrix for identifying priority sectors. Using constant-price Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data for the period 2019–2024 across 17 economic sectors, the study integrates the Location Quotient (LQ) and Sectoral Klassen Typology analyses. This approach produces a four-quadrant policy matrix comprising Prime Mainstay, Sustaining Mainstay, Potential, and Lagging Sectors. The empirical findings reveal a highly complementary spatial division of labor across the corridor. Banda Aceh functions as the primary tertiary agglomeration center for services and finance, Sabang exhibits strong specialization in maritime tourism, and Aceh Besar serves as the principal hinterland supporting food security and manufacturing. The findings indicate that a uniform development strategy across the BASAJAN corridor is unlikely to be effective. Therefore, local planning agencies (Bappeda) should prioritize fiscal allocations toward their respective Prime Mainstay Sectors. Furthermore, greater integration of Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) across jurisdictions is essential to strengthen interconnected regional supply chains within the BASAJAN corridor.

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has driven various advancements in technology, one of which is marked by the emergence of the digital revolution that has impacted payment systems, including the use of electronic money (E-money) in financial transactions. The home industry plays a strategic role in supporting national economic development, where innovations in technology-based transaction systems have a significant impact on the sustainability and efficiency of their business activities. One of the rapidly developing innovations today is the use of e-money. The research method employed is a quantitative approach based on the UTAUT model. Data were collected through interviews and the distribution of questionnaires designed using a Likert scale, with questionnaire items based on the variables in the UTAUT model. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via the SmartPLS software. The results indicate that the intention to use e-money drives actual usage behavior. Ease of use and social influence enhance this intention, while perceived benefits have not yet emerged as a determining factor. Furthermore, facility support plays a crucial role in driving e-money usage within the home industry in Aceh.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of business credit, management capital, and spiritual values on the performance of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Teunom sub-district. Multiple linear regression analysis was used as the quantitative method for this research. The research population included 115 respondents who were SMEs and KUR recipients at BSI KCP Teunom, and data were collected through a questionnaire. The findings revealed that people's business credit and spiritual values had a significant and positive impact on the performance of MSMEs. However, management capital did not affect the performance of MSMEs. The study strongly suggests that increasing the religiosity value of the community towards the funds received could lead to an increase in people's business loans.InsertRephraseImprove itShorten itSound confidentMoreÂ
