Abstract

The purpose of this research is to use Michael Riffaterre's semiotic theory to analyse the meaning of the lyrics of the Rahmatun Lil'Alameen song. This is a descriptive-qualitative study. The researchers used techniques such as observing and taking notes. The lyrics to the Rahamatun Lil'Alameen song were obtained from Maher Zain's YouTube channel. The researchers also distributed a Likert scale questionnaire to 30 respondents to determine how well people understood the meaning and impression of Rahmatun Lil'Alameen's song lyrics. The findings of this study are as follows: 1) indirectness of expression includes (a) meaning substitution dominated by metaphorical figurative language, (b) meaning distortion in the form of ambiguity, and (c) the creation of meaning through rhymes, enjambments, and typography that enhance the visual presentation of the verses, 2) Heuristic reading was followed by hermeneutic reading, which described the prophet Muhammad Saw.'s presence as a role model and mercy to all nature, which is imprinted through his compassion and praiseworthy morals. 3) Prophet Muhammad Saw., model: mercy to all creation and blessings on the prophet, as well as variants that run throughout the verses 4) Potential and actual hypograms found in the Qur'an and Hadith that are intertextual. مستخلص يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل معنى كلمات الأغنية "رحمة للعالمين" باستخدام نظرية السيميائية لمايكل ريفاتير. من خلال الدراسية الوصفية النوعية. وفي جمع البيانات، استخدم الباحثون تقنيات السماعي والكتابي. ومصدر البيانات الأساسي هو كلمات الأغنية "رحمة للعالمين" التي تم الحصول عليها من قناة ماهر زين على اليوتيوب. وزع الباحثون أيضا استبيانا بمقياس ليكرت على ثلاثين مستجيبا لمعرفة شعور المجتمع في فهم معنى وانطباع كلمات الأغنية "رحمة للعالمين". ونتائج البحث كما يلي: ١) تتضمن اللامبالاة في التعبير (أ) استبدال المعنى الذي تهيمن عليه اللغة التصويرية المجازية، (ب) تشويه المعنى في شكل الغموض، (ج) خلق المعنى بالسجع، والقوافي، و الطباعة التي تجمل الأشعار ،٢) القراءة الإرشادية والقراءة التفسيرية التي تصف شخصية النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم كنموذج يحتذى به ورحمة للعالمين التي تم توصيفها من خلال شفقته وأخلاقه الكريمة، ٣) المصفوفة: النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، نموذج: رحمة للعالمين والصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، والمتغيرات التي تنتشر في جميع أنحاء المقاطع، ٤) الرسوم التوضيحية المحتملة والفعلية المتوافقة مع القرآن والحديث. الكلمات المفتاحية: السيميائية لريفاتير؛ رحمة للعالمين؛ ماهر زين

Abstract

One of the methods used in learning Arabic that can improve maharah kalam is muhawarah; the muhawarah method is often used in several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The facts found by researchers in the field are that in MTs Persis 31 Banjaran, muhawarah is a particular subject studied at school. This research aims to discover the process of muhawarah learning at MTs Persis 31 Banjaran. This study used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data was collected, data analysis was carried out using the technique proposed by Milles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research result shows that the process of muhawarah lesson at MTs Persis 31 Banjaran contains four core activities of muhawarah learning, including (1) memorizing mufrodat, (2) analyzing mufrodat, (3) translating conversations, (4) carrying out simple conversations. The teacher's skills in achieving learning objectives are very influential, one of which is regarding the methods used in muhawarah learning. Methods appropriate to students' material, infrastructure, and conditions can make it easier for teachers to achieve learning objectives and increase student enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran OK4R dikenal sebagai pendekatan yang berfokus pada Overview, Key Ideas, Read, Recall, Reflect, dan Review, yang pada umumnya digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Keterampilan ini menjadi sangat penting dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab, karena kemampuan membaca yang lancar dan mampu memahami serta menerjemahkan teks secara akurat merupakan dasar utama dalam berbagai aspek ilmu, termasuk agama, sastra, dan pengetahuan umum. Penelitian yang dilakukan di MA Sabilunnajah untuk siswa kelas 11 Bahasa bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan metode OK4R dalam memahami teks eksplanasi bahasa Arab dan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan metode OK4R dan yang tidak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain kuasi eksperimen, yaitu Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, di mana kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dipilih tanpa menggunakan randomisasi. Pengumpulan data akan melibatkan penggunaan tes dan observasi. Tes akan mencakup pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman teks eksplanasi bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode OK4R memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman teks eksplanasi bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas 11 Bahasa MA Sabilunnajah, dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 23,67, dari 69,00 menjadi 92,67. Hasil ini didukung oleh nilai signifikansi yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan metode OK4R dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah konvensional.

Abstract

The grammatical linguistic symbols (GLS) are used in teaching yellow book (kitab kuning /traditional Islamic texts) and Arabic grammar in traditional Islamic boarding schools using regional languages such as Javanese and Sundanese, and are beginning to be adopted in the Indonesian language. This study aims to explore their usage practices in the latter language while examining their benefits, limitations, and impacts. This research novelty lies in its focus on the Indonesian language, considering that previous studies on GLS primarily focused on regional languages. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing observation, interviews, and tests as instruments at Pondok Tahfidz Zawiyah Darul Hayat. The observational and interview data are analyzed using Saussure's semiotics theory. The test results are used to determine the impact of using GLS. This study investigates the use of GLS in Indonesian and examines its advantages, drawbacks, and effects. The results show that GLS is useful for comprehending yellow book grammatical functions, particularly those related to syntax, fa'idah, and word abbreviations. Notwithstanding its benefits, GLS isn't universally applicable and might cause mistakes, particularly when choosing symbols. Test results indicate that GLS helps with grammatical position determination. In an effort to address these limitations, the research recommends the creation of a standardized guidebook explaining the use of GLS and the addition of new symbols to support uncovered grammatical functions. This study makes a substantial contribution to the preservation of local knowledge in the context of Indonesian Islamic boarding schools, especially with regard to Arabic grammar teaching. By examining this aspect, the study enriches understanding not only of language dynamics but also of cultural preservation and educational practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract Arabic texts can be understood in their meaning through the process of translation which require specific techniques. Translation techniques will offer resolutions to the translation difficulties encountered by translators. The purpose of this research is to describe the translation techniques from Arabic to Indonesian in the book "Ilmu Balaghah Tarjamah Jauhar Maknun" by Imam Akhdlori. This research is qualitative approach and descriptive analysis method. The researchers use literature review method to gather primary data from the SLT and the TLT in the book "Ilmu Balaghah Tarjamah Jauhar Maknun" by Imam Akhdlori, specifically focusing on Chapter One (the state of isnad khabary) and Section One (the meaning of isnad khabary). The data will be analyzed using the 18 translation techniques suggested by Molina and Albir. The data presentation will follow Nida and Taber's translation model. The findings of this research are as follow: In data (1), there are two words with borrowing technique, one word with transposition technique, one word with description technique, one word with common synonym technique, one phrase with reduction technique, and one word with substitution technique. In data (2), there is one word with borrowing technique, one word with transposition technique, one phrase with reduction technique, one word with substitution technique, and one phrase with linguistic amplification technique. In data (3), there is one word with borrowing technique, one phrase with modulation technique, two words with description technique, and one word with substitution technique. In data (4), there is one word with borrowing technique, one word with transposition technique, two words with transposition technique, and one word with linguistic amplification technique. Abstract

Bernyanyi merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk membantu peserta didik menguasai dan menghafal materi dengan baik. Selain metode, media juga sangat penting untuk meningkatkan penguasaan daya ingat santri. Salah satunya adalah media kartu flash card. Menurut Azhar Arsyad dalam bukunya mengatakan tentang media flash card yang merupakan kartu berisi gambar, teks, atau tanda simbol yang mengingatkan atau membimbing peserta didik kepada sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan gambar tersebut. Di TPA Asy-Syukuriyah menggunakan flash card yang berukuran 8 x 12 cm, karena menurut Arsyad mengungkapkan bahwa kartu flash card biasanya berukuran 8 x 12 cm atau bisa disesuaikan dengan ukuran besar kecilnya kelas yang dihadapi oleh pendidik. Dengan perpaduan penggunaan metode bernyanyi dan media flash card, menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menarik dan semakin menstimulasi penguasaan peserta didik terhadap materi mufradat (kosakata) bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan observasi awal, kurangnya penguasaan santri terhadap materi mufradat bahasa Arab di TPA Asy-Syukuriyah Kota Bandung, maka upaya yang dilakukan yaitu menerapkan gabungan metode bernyanyi dan media flash card. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, yaitu teknik yang menggambarkan karakteristik sesuatu dengan cara yang sistematis dan akurat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan gabungan metode bernyanyi dan media flash card dalam penguasaan mufradat bahasa Arab santri mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Peneliti menemukan bahwa dengan menerapkan penggabungan metode bernyanyi dan media flash card terbukti santri dapat menguasai mufradat (kosakata) bahasa Arab dengan baik, salah satunya melalui materi bahasa Arab tentang jari jemari tangan dengan menggunakan lagu Heli Guk Guk Guk.

Abstract

إحدى المشاكل الأساسية التي دفعت الباحث في كتابة هذا الموضوع هي أن دروس اللغة العربية التي يدرسها معلموا اللغة العربية حتى الآن لا تزال مركزا على إتقان المهارات اللغوية الأربعة مهارة الاستماع والكلام والكتابة والقراءة فحسب، مع أن هناك فرصة كبيرة لتعليم القيم فيه لأن اللغة وعاء الثقافة وثقافة اللغة العربية الثقافة الإسلامية. لذا يحاول الباحث استكشاف الحقائق المتعلقة بعملية التعليم في جامعة الراية في المستوى الإعدادي كشكل نموذجي في غرس القيم في تعليم اللغة العربية من خلال صياغة المشكلة وهي :كيف يطبق مدرسو اللغة العربية تعليم القيم خلال تعليم اللغة العربية في جامعة الراية. واعتمد الباحث في هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي أما طريقة تحليل البيانات يعتمد الباحث على طريقة ميلز وهوبرمان (miles&hubermen) وهي جمع البيانات ثم تصنيف البيانات وعرضها ثم أخذ النتائج.تطبيق غرس القيم السلوكية في تعليم اللغة العربية في جامعة الراية يتم تنفيذه بطرق مختلفة سواء من الأنشطة داخل المناهج أو الأنشطة اللامنهجية. أما بالنسبة للأنشطة اللامنهجية التي يتم دمجها في مواد مثل أنشطة التدريس والتعلم ‏(KBM) ، في حين يتم تنفيذ الأنشطة اللامنهجية خارج ساعات دراسية كالدرسة الإضافية كإلقاء الكلمات والجلسة التربوية وغيرها من الأنشطة. تم تنفيذ تعليم القيم من خلال القدوة التي يقوم بها المعلمون خلال عمليتهم داخل الفصول الدراسية وكذا من خلال ممارسات القيم الحسنة في حياة الطلبة. أما القيم التي تم غرسها من خلال تعليم اللغة العربية بجامعة الراية هي: الثقة، والصدق، والتعاون، والتواصلية، والاحترام، ورغبة معرفة الأشياء (الفضول)، والتسوية. One of the main problems that prompted researchers to write about this topic is that currently learning Arabic is still focused on mastering the four language skills, namely listening, speaking, writing and reading only, although there is a great opportunity to teach values in it because language is container of culture, and culture Arabic language is an Islamic culture in which there are Islamic values. Therefore the researcher tries to dig up facts related to the character learning process in learning Arabic at STIBA Ar Raayah at the language preparation level by formulating the problem, namely how Arabic teachers teach values in learning Arabic at STIBA Ar Raayah. In this study the researchers used a descriptive analysis approach, while for the data analysis method the researcher uses the Miles & Humbermen method. The results of the study show that character learning in learning Arabic at STIBA Ar Raayah is implemented in intracurricular and extracurricular activities. The intracurricular system is carried out in the teaching and learning process (KBM), while extracurricular activities are carried out outside of teaching and learning activities such as speeches. In this activity the teacher becomes a role model for students both inside and outside the classroom. As for the values contained in the Arabic learning process, namely self-confidence, honesty, mutual help, communicative, mutual respect, curiosity and equalization. Salah satu permasalahan utama yang mendorong peneliti untuk menulis topik ini adalah pembelajaran Bahasa arab yang terjadi pada saat ini masih terfokus kepada penguasaan empat keterampilan berbahasa yaitu mendengar, berbicara, menulis dan membaca saja, meskipun ada kesempatan besar untuk mengajarkan nilai-nilai didalamnya karena Bahasa merupakan wadah budaya, dan budaya Bahasa arab adalah budaya islami yang didalamnya terdapat nilai-nilai keislaman. Oleh karena itupeneliti mencoba menggali fakta terkait proses pembelajaran karakter dalam pembelajaran Bahasa arab di Stiba arraayah pada tingkat persiapan Bahasa dengan merumuskan masalah yaitu : bagaimana guru Bahasa arab mengajarkan nilai-nilai didalam pembelajaran Bahasa arab di stiba arraayah.dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis, sedangkan untuk metode analisis data peneliti menggunakan metode miles & humbermen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran karakter dalam pembelajaran Bahasa arab di stiba arrayah di implementasikan dalam intrakulikuler dan ekstrakulikuler. Adapun system intrakulikuler dilakukan dalam proses belajar mengajar (KBM), sedangkan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler dilakukan diluar kegiatan belajar mengajar seperti pidato. Dalam Kegiatan ini guru menjadi panutan bagi siswanya baik didalam kelas ataupun diluar kelas. Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of Arabic morphosemantic analysis on digital natives who are not native Arabic speakers. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with percentage-based analysis. Data were collected through an open-ended multiple-choice test that was structured based on morphosemantic indicators. The validity of the test instrument has been confirmed by Arabic morphosemantics experts. The study involved 34 digital native Arabic students, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The results show that the morphosemantic analysis ability of digital native non-Arabic speakers is generally considered insufficient, with a percentage of 49.2%. The ability in the aspects of word derivation and shighat is classified as moderate with a percentage of 67.6% and 65.7% respectively, while the ability in the aspects of affixes, word roots, semantic aspects, and wazan is categorized as "very poor" with a percentage of 44.7%, 42.1%, 37.2%, and 36.4% respectively. This study concludes that the morphosemantic analysis ability of digital native non-Arabic speakers is still at a deficient level, and effective strategies need to be developed to improve it Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan analisis morfosemantik bahasa Arab pada digital native yang bukan penutur asli Arab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis berbasis persentase. Data dikumpulkan melalui uji pilihan ganda terbuka yang disusun berdasarkan indikator morfosemantik. Validitas instrumen uji telah dikonfirmasi oleh ahli morfosemantik bahasa Arab. Penelitian melibatkan 34 mahasiswa bahasa Arab digital native, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan analisis morfosemantik digital native non penutur Arab secara umum tergolong kurang, dengan persentase 49.2%. Kemampuan dalam aspek derivasi kata dan shighat diklasifikasikan sebagai sedang dengan persentase masing-masing 67.6% dan 65.7%, sementara kemampuan dalam aspek imbuhan, akar kata, aspek semantik, dan wazan dikategorikan sebagai “sangat kurang” dengan persentase masing-masing 44.7%, 42.1%, 37.2%, dan 36.4%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemampuan analisis morfosemantik digital native non penutur Arab masih memiliki tingkat yang kurang, dan strategi yang efektif perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkannya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT SQ3R is a learning method consisting of: Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review. SQ3R is often used to help students' reading skills. Mastering language vocabulary is the main capital to achieve aspects of language skills which include listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills students need to master the vocabulary of the language learned. The research that will be carried out at MTS Al-Inayah in class VIII aims to find out: the influence of SQ3R in mastering Arabic vocabulary in grade VIII students of MTS Al-Inayah Bandung and the difference in student learning outcomes between the application of the SQ3R method and those who do not use SQ3R. This study used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. By using the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design scheme. In this design is divided into two, namely the control class and the experimental class is selected without going through randomly. Data collection using test and non-test. The test includes a pre-test and post-test to determine the level of Arabic vocabulary mastery. For non-test data collection using observation and documentation. The results of this study were (1) the SQ3R learning method had an impact on the Arabic language vocabulary mastery of Grade VIII students of MTS Al-Inayah with an increase of 28.85 from an average of 52.30 to 81.15. This is associated with a significance value of 0.00 which is less than the value of 0.05 which means there are differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental class using SQ3R.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and effectiveness of treasure hunt learning media on learning achievement speaking skills. A quantitative approach is used with a Quasi-Experimental design. The population used was the 4th-grade students of SD El Fitra, totaling 111 people. While the sample used is class A as the control class and class B as the experimental class. Analysis of the research data used the t-test which was processed with the help of SPSS version 28 software with the acquisition of sig. (2-tailed) <. 001 in the experimental class <0. 05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on class B who applies Treasure Hunt on learning achievement, especially on the speaking ability of class IV SD El Fitra students.
