Abstract

This research aims to build spiritual awareness through surau-based counseling. Spiritual awareness is a supporting factor for tourism in the Minang realm, because the community adheres to the customary philosophy of sarak jointed, sarak jointed Kitabullah. The target of service is the young generation and mothers in Nagari Pariangan, Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra. The dedication method uses the Parcipatory Action Reserach technique. The results of the dedication found that surau-based counseling was able to foster spiritual awareness of the younger generation and mothers, the birth of a commitment to make spiritual values as a force in developing tourism, increasing the enthusiasm of young people and mothers to develop tourism based on spiritual values, and the desire to restore the function of the surau as central in building spiritual values.

Abstract

The high number of internet addiction experienced by students has been increasing for last decades. The addiction can potentially damage the brain's nerve cells, which in turn affect students' cognitive, emotion and behavior. Thus, an effective treatment is urgently needed. One of the alternatives is by employing the zikir relaxation in counseling. This study aims find the effect of zikir relaxation in counseling as the attempt to reduce the anxiety due to the internet addiction of high school students. The research method used experiment method specifically, the pretest and posttest control group design. There were 10 students taken through the random sampling. Data analysis used independent t test. The results of the study found that: (1) there was a difference level of anxiety reduction due to internet addiction for the students who received the treatment compared those who did not get, and (2) there was a significant influence between remembrance relaxations in counseling on student anxiety reduction in internet addiction. This implies that zikir relaxation is effective to use by counselors in schools to handle internet addiction

Abstract

The dominant problem experienced by the elderly is the high level of anxiety which has an impact on the physical and psychological. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of positive mental time travel counseling techniques to reduce the level of anxiety in the elderly. The approach used is experiments, especially pretest & posttest control group design. The research subjects were the elderly at the Sabai Nan Aluih Nursing Home, which amounted to 20 people indicated experiencing anxiety in the high category. Subjects were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group received a positive mental time travel technique counseling intervention and the control group received a lecture intervention in the group. Data were collected using the Elderly Anxiety Scale, and analyzed using a different test independent samples t test through the SPSS computer program Release 20. The results showed that; (1) there is a difference in the level of anxiety of the elderly who are given positive mental time travel techniques with the elderly who are not given positive mental time travel technique counseling, and (2) the counseling of positive mental time travel techniques is effective in reducing the level of anxiety of the elderly. It is recommended for practitioners to use positive mental time travel counseling techniques to reduce the level of anxiety in the elderly in order to realize the mental health of the elderly.

Abstract

Kesepian yang dialami lansia di panti jompo memberi dampak negatif pada perilaku sosial. Peneliti ingin mengungkapkan perilaku lansia yang mengalami kesepian dan implikasinya terhadap konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan responden lansia yang mengalami kesepian di panti jompo Kasih sayang Ibu di Batusangkar. Adapun teknik yang digunakan untuk mengambil data yaitu melalui wawancara yang mendalam dan pengamatan. Analisis data menggunakan teori miless & Huberman, dan uji keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa hal; Pertama, munculnya perilaku negative dan salah suai lansia yang mengalami kesepian, dan perilaku tersebut muncul sebagai akibat ketidakmampuan dalam mengelola perasaan. Kedua, adanya usaha yang dilakukan lansia untuk menghilangkan kesepian, diantara yaitu melalui kegiatan ibadah dan berdiskusi dengan orang dipercaya. Ketiga, perilaku lansia yang mengalami kesepian dan usaha yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesepian tersebut berimplikasi pada penerapan konseling Islam, khususnya dari sisi interaksi sosial dan pengelolaan perasaan berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam, serta pemantapan nilai-nilai ibadah sebagai usaha untuk mengatasi kesepian.    Kata Kunci: lansia; kesepian; konseling Islam.__________________________________________________The loneliness experienced by the elderly in nursing homes has a negative impact on social behavior. The researcher wants to reveal the behavior of the elderly who experience loneliness and its implications for counseling. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with elderly respondents who experience loneliness in nursing homes Mother's Love in Batusangkar. The technique used to retrieve data is through in-depth interviews and observations. Data analysis using the theory of Miless & Huberman, and data validity testing using triangulation. The results of the study found several things; First, the emergence of negative behavior and wrong elderly people who experience loneliness, and the behavior appears as a result of the inability to manage feelings. Secondly, there is an attempt by the elderly to eliminate loneliness, between, namely through worship activities and discussions with trusted people. Third, the behavior of the elderly who experience loneliness and the efforts that have been made to overcome loneliness have implications for the application of Islamic counseling, especially in terms of social interaction and management of feelings based on Islamic values, and the strengthening of worship values as an effort to overcome loneliness.Keywords: elderly; lonely; Islamic counseling.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed study practices and habits. Learning that is usually carried out in the education unit then moves to learning from home (BDR). Teachers and students are involved in distance learning which presents a number of challenges ranging from the obstacles experienced in BDR, both obstacles in planning, implementing and assessing learning, as well as requiring teachers to try to motivate children in implementing BDR during this pandemic. This is because changes in learning patterns that are so drastic have the risk of causing a decrease in the quality of learning. Whereas the quality of learning is the key to student learning outcomes. If the quality of learning decreases, the learning outcomes of students also tend to decrease (learning loss). This study aims to describe the obstacles experienced and the teacher's strategies in motivating children to learn from home (BDR) during the Covid-19 pandemic at PAUD Negeri Pilot Sijunjung Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study design. This research was carried out at the Pilot State PAUD in June and July 2021. The primary data sources or core informants in this study were 6 people, namely the teacher council, additional informants from the principal. The researcher acts as a key instrument, using supporting instruments in the form of interview guidelines and documentation studies. Secondary data in this study were related documents regarding BDR learning during the covid 19 pandemic. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation studies, then the data collected was tested for validity using triangulation techniques. Then the data is analyzed using the opinions of Milles and Hubberman through reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the teacher's obstacles in implementing BDR include obstacles in BDR planning, teachers are constrained in determining learning indicators. In the implementation of BDR, the teacher has difficulty in determining activities according to the situation and condition of the child, while in the BDR assessment, the teacher is constrained in assessing aspects of child development because the child's development cannot be monitored by the teacher. The teacher's strategy in motivating children to BDR is to provide BDR activities according to the child's world, namely through games, creating whatshaap groups, delivering interesting learning videos, giving rewards in the form of words of praise and emoticons that add to the passion and enthusiasm of children in implementing BDR.

Abstract

One of the problems experienced by ex-prostitutes was the low awareness of religion. This impacted their daily behavior in which they could be easily influenced to return to their old profession as prostitutes. A treatment that was considered appropriate to increase the religious awareness of ex-prostitutes is Islamic counseling as a da'wah approach. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Islamic counseling as a da'wah approach to improve the religious awareness of ex-prostitutes. This study used an experimental approach with a single-subject multiple baseline design. The respondents were three ex-prostitutes who stayed in a social rehabilitation institution. The research instrument used was a religious awareness scale. Data were analyzed using trend analysis. The study found that Islamic counseling as a da'wah approach effectively increased the religious awareness of ex-prostitutes so that ex-prostitutes can return to the community properly.

Abstract

Masalah utama adalah masih adanya anak taman kanak-kanak (TK) yang kurang jujur dalam berkata dan bersikap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan data empiris terkait cara guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kejujuran dan implikasinya dalam layanan konseling di TK. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu naturalistic, dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa hal, yaitu: pertama, guru berpandangan bahwa nilai kejujuran pada anak harus dibangun di atas landasan tauhid. Kedua, guru mengintegrasikan nilai kejujuran dalam proses pembelajaran dan melakukan proses pembiasaan kejujuran di luar pembelajaran. Ketiga, penanaman kejujuran dalam proses pembelajaran dapat terimplikasi dalam konseling karena melihat pengaruh penggunaan teknik biblio konseling berbasis Islam dan konseling dengan teknik live modeling dalam penanaman nilai-nilai kejujuran. Hasil penelitian diharapkan sebagai stimulus bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengkaji cara lain untuk menanamkan nilai kejujuran pada anak.

Abstract

Tujuan penenlitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh biblio konseling dengan teknik cinematheraphy dalam meningkatkan resiliensi diri siswa, resileinsi diri yang harus dimiliki seseorang. Siswa yang memiliki reseliensi diri yang positif, akan mampu menghadapi berbagai macam masalah, serta ketahanan diri dalam pemecahan masalah di bidang sosial akan lebih baik. Dalam hal ini bimbingan dan konseling memberikan ataumenyediakan layanan yang menunjang perkembangan individual siswa, pada teknik bibliotherapy, individu diarahkan untuk mampu membaca bahan bacaan yang terseleksi, terencana, dan terarah sebagai suatu prosedur treatment dalamkonseling, karena diyakini bahwa membaca dapat mempengaruhi sikap, perasaan, dan perilaku individu sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan. Informasi dan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan membaca menjadi masukan untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan Pre-Exsperimental design dengan tipe “One Groups Pretest Posttest Design”, yaitu desain penelitian yang terdapat pretest sebelum diberi perlakuan dan posttest setelah diberi perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa biblio terapi konseling adalah dukungan psikoterapi melalui bahan bacaan untuk membantu seseorang yang mengalami permasalahan personal. Metode terapi ini sangat dianjurkan, terutama bagi para penderita yang sulit menggungkapkan permasalahannya secara verbal, terapi yang pertama kali ini (biblio-therapy) dikenalkan oleh para ahli kesehatan Inggris, dan terutama digunakan untuk menyembuhkan penderita stres, depresi, dan kegelisahan.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakan agresif yang disengaja, menggunakan ketidakseimbangan kekuatan secara fisik atau mental dengan cara menyakiti bentuk fisik, verbal, emosional/psikologis dan Cyber bullying yang dilakukan secara berulang–ulang, jika dibiarkan maka akan berdampak buruk baik bagi pelaku maupun korban. Konseling kelompok merupakan layanan yang dapat membantu peserta didik mengatasi masalah yang dialami. Salah satu teknik yang dapat di gunakan dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying adalah Teknik Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) merupakan salah satu terapi modifikasi perilaku yang menggunakan kognisi sebagai “kunci” dari perubahan perilaku. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif Pre eksperimental design one-group pre-test and post-test dimana sebuah kelompok eksperimen diukur variabel dependen kemudian diberikan treatmen dan dilakukan pengukuran kembali. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII.1 SMPN 2 kecamatan guguak sebanyak 28 orang siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 8 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil perilaku bullying dapat di kurangi dengan menggunakan Teknik Cognive Behavior Therapy (CBT) hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok Teknik Cognitive Behavior Therapy cukup efektif dalam meminimalisir perilaku Bullying di sekolah.

Abstract

The main problem of career counseling in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic is management problems. The purpose of this study is to reveal data related to career management problems in schools during the covid 19 period. The research uses a qualitative approach, especially phenomenology. The research respondents consisted of Guidance and Counseling teachers, school principals, vice principals and students of SMA N Padang City. Research data obtained through interviews and observations. Researchers used data triangulation to test the validity of the data, especially source triangulation. The data is analyzed based on the theory of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study revealed that; 1) unrealistic planning of career counseling services and the absence of online counseling designs. 2) the organization of career counseling services that are not in accordance with the guidelines, 3) the implementation of career counseling services that are not in accordance with the student's traits and are incidental in nature, and 4) controlling and supervising the implementation of career counseling that has not been maximized by the principal. The conclusion of the research is that career management problems in schools are related to planning, organizing, implementing and controlling.
