Abstract

This research aims to find out how the application of thematic learning using a scientific approach in class V B of SDN 21 West Pontianak, starting from designing a thematic learning implementation plan with a scientific approach, then the implementation of thematic learning with a scientific approach and the obstacles faced by teachers in carrying out thematic learning with a scientific approach scientific. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative methods. The source of the data in this study was the class V B teacher at SDN 21 West Pontianak with the resulting data being the result of observing the lesson plan, the result of observing the implementation of the lesson and the results of interviews with the teacher. The results of the study show that the plan for implementing thematic learning with a scientific approach that has been made by the teacher still has deficiencies, namely in the learning objectives section because it is not appropriate and does not include existing competency achievement indicators and is not in accordance with the ABCD formula, then remedial and enrichment activities have not been planned properly, then the core learning activities in the reasoning section are still not well planned. In the implementation of thematic learning with a scientific approach carried out by the teacher, it still tends to be in one direction, reasoning activities have also not been carried out properly, the obstacles faced by the teacher are the limited facilities available in the teacher's school, the difficulty in planning reasoning activities and increasing the curiosity of students because it is based on interviews and observations made by students look passive and less active in participating in the learning process.

Abstract

Based on the results of the needs analysis in class V SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Selatan, learning in class V only uses thematic books so students become passive and students' critical thinking skills are low. Therefore, we need a learning tool that can make students active in learning as well as a learning model that can train students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to produce valid and practical Problem Based Learning worksheets for thematic learning in class V at State School 28 Pontianak Selatan. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) to produce a new product, namely LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. The source of the data from this study were students in class V SD Neger 28 Pontianak Selatan and the data were questionnaire assessment scores from expert validators and students. The results showed that the LKPD Based on Problem Based Learning had an average value of 3.79 with a very valid category and the LKPD Based on Problem Based Learning had an average practicality value of 3.83 with a very practical category with a review of the assessment of language aspects, material, design, and practicality with a review of the trial results to students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media video pembelajaran animasi yang valid dan praktis digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan pembelajaran pada muatan pelajaran IPAS materi perubahan wujud zat di kelas IV SD Kartika XVII-I Pontianak Kota. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan mangadaptasi model ADDIE. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu adalah 30 peserta didik kelas IV SD Kartika XVII-I Pontianak Kota dan 2 orang validator ahli yang terdiri dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media video pembelajaran animasi sudah melalui lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Kevalidan produk media video pembelajaran animasi pada aspek media memperoleh nilai sebesar 4.43 dengan kriteria “Sangat Valid”, dan pada aspek materi memperoleh nilai sebesesar 4.42 dengan kriteria “Sangat Valid”. Kepraktisan produk media video pembelajaran animasi memperoleh nilai sebesar 4.45 dengan kriteria “Sangat Praktis”.

Abstract

Teacher skills are an absolute must to oversee the implementation of an independent curriculum in schools. Teacher skills are important to continue understanding basic literacy concepts. Basic literacy skills are the foundation of all student learning, including those for science, technology, mathematics, character education, and higher order thinking skills. This strengthening carried out directly provides assistance to teachers in schools in educating students about basic literacy. Literacy is a very important thing for students to master, especially in the 21st century. Thus, this stabilization effort provides significant results for teachers and students in implementing an independent curriculum, especially at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to develop interactive teaching materials based on Microsoft PowerPoint for class V with 9 sub-themes 2 themes. The research uses a development model adapted from the Thiagarajan design model, namely the 4D (four-D) model which includes three steps, namely stage (1) Define, stage (2) Design, and stage (2) Develop. The source of the research data was obtained from the fifth grade teacher at Public Elementary School 13 West Pontianak. The research data is in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire) and interviews conducted during the initial observation. The data analysis technique used is Purwanto. Implementation of research to test the feasibility of interactive teaching materials based on Microsoft PowerPowint. The feasibility level of interactive teaching material products from the material aspect average percentage of 97.7% which has valid criteria and from the media aspect the average percentage is 87.7% which has valid criteria. Constraints in the development of interactive teaching materials include the lack of school facilities. In addition, the obstacle in this research is the limited time to develop interactive teaching materials

Abstract

This research aims to produce probllem based learning oriented student worksheet product on appropritate material for coellecting and presenting data for class V elementry schools. The research method used is research and development (RnD) by adapting the Thiagarajan 4D development model (define, design, development and dissemination). The data sources for this research are the validation results from three validators, the results of student respons questionnaires and the results of student worksheet trials. The data collection techniques for this research are validator validation questionnaires, students response questionnaires, and student worksheet documentation used by teachers. The research results show that during the process of developing problem based learning oriented student worksheet, it was carried out in only three stages, namely the define, design and development stages. The average percentage validity of student worksheet from the language aspect is 4 with very valid criteria from the learning (material) aspect or 4.1 with very valid criteria, from the technical/apperarance aspect it is 4.2 with very valid criteria. Furthermore, the results of small-scale students respons obtained an average percentage of 77,75% with good criteria and large scale test obtanied an average percentage of 89,5% with very good creteria.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product, namely a student worksheet with project based learning characteristics in the science and science subject class IV at SD N 30 North Pontianak that is valid and suitable for use. The research method used is research and development (Research & Development) Thiagarajan 4D model (define, design, development and disseminate). The data source for this research is the validation results of two validator experts and a questionnaire of student responses after using the product that has been developed, namely student worksheets with project based learning characteristics. The data collection techniques used were document analysis, observation and questionnaires. The research results during the LKPD development process were characterized by project based learning, namely through the define, design and development stages. Initial analysis revealed that class IV A students had never used LKPD, so to overcome this, LKPD was developed which was designed based on the requirements of a good LKPD. The validity of LKPD characterized by project based learning obtained an average of 3.72 with a very valid category. Students' responses to LKPD characterized by project based learning obtained an average of 3.75 in the very good category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning model in science subjects on the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 06 South Pontianak. The research method used is an experiment in the form of a quasi-experimental design, a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was all class V students at SDN 06 South Pontianak, class VA totaling 28 students and class VB totaling 29 students. The sample was determined using nonprobability sampling, a saturated sampling type. Data collection techniques use measurement techniques. The instrument used is a learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choice with 30 questions. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test, tcount is 2,648 with a ttable of 1,864, because tcount > ttable then Ha is accepted. Proves that there is an influence of implementing the PBL learning model. The results of the effect size calculation were obtained at 0,50, including the medium criteria, so it can be concluded that the PBL learning model in science subjects has a moderate influence on the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 06 South Pontianak.

Abstract

The overall goal of this research is to create and provide a set of questions based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The purpose of this study's description questions is to create HOTS assessments or test questions for grade VI students at SDN 25 North Pontianak that focus on the subtheme of cooperating to achieve goals. This kind of study employs the Borg & Gall model for research and development (R&D), with the development stages restricted to the seventh step: (a) information gathering and research; (b) planning; (c) developing the primary form of the product; (d) preliminary field; (e) main product revision; (f) main field testing; and (g) operational product revision. The approach taken in this research is a mixed method approach (mixed method). The subjects of this study were 28 students from class VI B SDN 25 North Pontianak in the 2023/2024 school year. This study used instruments in the form of interviews, questionnaires and written tests. The study's findings were as follows: The target was attained by the HOTS question products on the cooperation subtheme, with an average of 4.7 in the very good category, according to the findings of product validation tests conducted by two experts on the material, construction, and language elements. (2) the results of the item analysis on six description items revealed that: a) all of the items are valid according to the validation analysis; b) the reliability analysis results are 0.80, including in the high reliability category; c) the results of the differentiating power analysis indicate that 50% of the questions are in the good category and 50% are in the very good category; and d) An examination of the question's difficulty level reveals that it falls into three categories: simple (4 items), moderate (1 item), and difficult (1 item).

Abstract

This research aims to produce a Powerpoint-based Interactive Learning Media product for learning science and science material on What's on Our Earth for grade V elementary schools. The research method used is research and development (RnD) by adapting the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The data sources for this research are the results of validation from two validators, the results of student response questionnaires, the results of practicality questionnaires. The data collection techniques for this research are interviews and questionnaires. The research results show that during the development process of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media, it was carried out in five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The validity of PowerPoint-based interactive learning media products in science and science learning, whatever material there is on our earth, class V of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak City obtained an average of 94.9% in the "very feasible" category. The results of student responses obtained "very good" criteria with an average score of 90.2% in limited trials and 93% in wide-scale trials. The practicality results in the limited trial obtained the criteria "very practical" with an average score of 91.2%. In wide-scale trials, an average of 90.5% was obtained in the "very practical" category. Meanwhile, the teacher's practical results obtained an average score of 100% in the "very practical" category.
