Abstract

Tools as media play an important role in learning physics to explain concepts, so that students can more easily build mastery of physics material and develop their skills. This study aims to design and realize a physics learning tool. The method used is research and development (Research and Development). This learning tool is in the form of a plane where the direction of the object's trajectory varies can move up, down, and is accompanied by a slope setting (30˚, 45˚, 60˚ or 90˚). Equipped with a speed output setting program based on 3 points whose speed will be measured and the distance between the points can be changed. Its function is to understand and prove the law of conservation of mechanical energy, understand the relationship between potential energy and kinetic energy experienced by objects and determine the speed of objects and their height position. This learning tool is expected to attract students' interest in learning physics. The design of this KIT Law of Conservation of Mechanical Energy can prove the conservation of mechanical energy. When an object is moving downwards, the object's height decreases but its velocity increases. On the other hand, if the object is moving upwards, the height of the object will increase, but the velocity of the object will decrease. This tool still has a relative error rate of 23.92% in free fall motion, 31.87% in falling motion on an inclined plane, and 32.79% in vertical upward motion.©2021 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. Abstract

Jepara is a carving city. The result of carving produces sawdust waste which is usually used to be sold and burned. In addition, durian fruit is available that has a distinctive taste and made an icon of one village in Jepara. The fruit is the belle of the whole community to be eaten by meat and made food. But the skin has the traits and characters that are difficult to decompose. Then the two wastes will be combined with tapioca flour into briquettes as an alternative fuel. This research take four stage: combustion, filtering, printing, and drying. Obtained two treatment, the first treatment is using ratio wood sawdust and durian rind; 50 gr: 50 gr; 25 gr: 50 gr; 50 gr: 25 gr. The results shown it does not ignite up and very hard. The second treatment is using same ratio but added 25 gram starch, the results shown it ignite. This is due to the starch content is used, it ignite the longest with a concentration ratio of 50 gr: 50 gr because its combination increases the calories value. In durian rind there are 3786 cal/g and teak wood consists mainly of cellulose (40-50%), hemicellulose (20-30%), lignin (20-30%), and the calories value of sawdust briquettes is 4714-5519 kcal/kg.©2019 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban terintegrasi dengan internet berbasis NodeMCU melalui WEB sebagai media informasi pada budidaya jamur tiram. Alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban telah dikembangkan dengan mengkombinasikan sensor DHT11, NodeMCU, dan sketch program Arduino IDE sebagai pengirim data ke WEB dan relay sebagai saklar pompa. Hasil eksperimen telah memperlihatkan data pada WEB serta relay dapat menyalakan pompa saat alat mendeteksi kelembaban 80% dapat menyirami rak jamur tiram sedangkan saat alat mendeteksi kelembaban 80% relay mematikan pompa dan hasil panen tanpa perlakuan rata-rata perhari 1kg sedangkan dengan perlakuan rata-rata perhari 2kg. Demikian dapat disimpulkan alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban mampu memberikan informasi dan membantu menaikkan hasil panen petani jamur tiram.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of experiment media based on Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance the students' HOTS ability on thermodynamics law material. This Research and Development comprises of the following stages: (1) defining needs, (2) designing products, (3) developing products, and (4) disseminating products. Four expert lecturers and two physics teachers serve as the validator. The limited trial subjects consisted of six students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Pekalongan; the field test subjects consisted of 108 students who were randomly selected from all XI MIPA classes at SMAN 2 Batang, and the disseminating subjects were teachers of MGMP physics in Batang. The instruments used were expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and written tests. The results of the validation of media experts were 3.81 (very good), and material experts were 3.54 (very good). Meanwhile, the results of teacher responses were 3.92 (very good), and the results of student responses were 3.50 (very good). The effective contribution of the IoT-based experimental media to improve the ability of HOTS can be seen from the results of the Multivariate Test analysis on GLM based on the partial eta squared value of 85.9%. This shows that experiment media based on IoT is feasible and effective to enhance the students’ HOTS ability.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan alat peraga gerak parabola terhadap pemahaman konsep gerak parabola, penelitian dilakukan secara kuasi eksperiment pada kelas  XI, di hasilkan kesimpulan bahwa  penggunaan alat peraga mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI pada pokok bahasan gerak parabola. Hal ini didukung oleh peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang ditinjau dari akumulasi nilai seluruh kelas dan dari tiap indikator pemahaman konsep. Ditinjau dari ketujuh indikator pemahaman konsep, pada kelas eksperimen terdapat lima indikator yang mengalami peningkatan dalam kategori tinggi, yakni indikator menginterpretasi, mencontohkan, mengklasifikasi, menduga dan menjelaskan. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep ini sangat besar kemungkinanya karena dipengaruhi penggunaan alat peraga sederhana sebagai media pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perkuliahan fisika, penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan program perkuliahan yang mampu membekali keterampilan merancang kegiatan laboratorium kepada mahasiswa calon guru. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kegelisahan rendahnya keterampilan guru fisika dalam merancang kegiatan laboratorium yang berdampak pada rendahnya kegiatan laboratorium oleh guru fisika dalam proses pembelajaranya.Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pengembangan dan ujicoba pada mahasiswa fisika semester 5 universitas PGRI Semarang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Karakteristik program perkuliahan yang dikembangkan memberikan penjelasan tentang ciri khas program perkuliahan fisika berorientasi keterampilan (MKL). Program terdiri atas: pembekalan, analisis dan identifikasi kurikulum, penyusunan rencana, pembuatan alat peraga, validasi produk, pengujian dan evaluasi. Masing-masing tahap merupakan ciri khas program diuraikan secara rinci, dengan harapan agar lebih mudah dipahami.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah program perkuliahan berorientasi keterampilan MKL yang dikembangkan valid, Karakteristik program perkuliahan MKL terdiri 6 tahap yang saling terkait antar tahapnya dan disetiap tahap dihasilkan produk yang menjadi indikator dari keterampilan yang diharapkan dari program yang dikembangkan. Kebaruan program yang dikembangkan adalah jenis keterampilan yang dibekalkan dan produk perkuliahan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah alat ukur supervisi klinis berbasis mobile phone yang valid dan reliabel sehingga dapat digunakan oleh kepala sekolah untuk menilai profesionalitas atau kinerja guru dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pen-didikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Mardapi dengan 7 langkah pengembangan. Validitas yang dinilai meliputi validitas isi, validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas instrumen. Pengujian validitas isi menggunakan formula Aiken yang dihitung berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, validitas konstruk menggunakan pendekatan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dan reliabilitas isi menggunakan perhitung-an Intraclass Coefficient Correlation (ICC), sedangkan reliabilitas konstruk menggunakan formula Alpha Cronbach. Hasil uji coba lapangan berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor terdapat beberapa butir pernyataan yang valid dengan nilai Loading Factor 0,5. Aspek dengan butir pernyataan yang valid meliputi tahapan Persiapan dengan 5 pernyataan dan nilai Alpha sebesar 0,640, tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan 23 pernyataan dan nilai Alpha sebesar 0,962, dan tahapan penutup dengan 4 pernyataan dan nilai Alpha sebesar 0,680.Kata Kunci: Validitas, Reliabilitas, Supervisi Klinis Development of clinical supervision measures based on mobile phone in the term of improving quality of educationAbstractThis study aims to develop a valid and reliable android-based clinical supervision measurement tool so that it can be used by school principals to assess the professionalism or performance of teachers in order to improve the quality of education. This research is development research with the development model of Mardapi with 7 steps of development. The validity assessed included content validity, construct validity, and instrument reliability. Content validity testing uses expert judgment, construct validity using the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) approach, and reliability using Cronbach Alpha. The results of field trials based on the results of factor analysis there are several valid statements with the value of Loading Factor 0.5. Aspects with valid statement items include the stages of preparation with 5 statements and Alpha values of 0.640, stages of Learning Activities with 23 statements and Alpha values of 0.962, and closing stages with 4 statements and Alpha values of 0.680.Keywords: Validity, Reliability, Clinic Supervision

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis literasi sains untuk siswasekolah dasar. Uji coba produk dilakukan menggunakan pretes-postes one group design melalui dua tahap,yaitu uji skala terbatas dan luas. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif persentase, analisisrespons, dan uji N-gain. Hasil uji validasi terhadap kelayakan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis literasi sainsberada pada kategori “sangat layak” dengan skor 88,40%. Pada uji skala terbatas, siswa memperoleh skor89,12 ˃ 75,00 berdasarkan hasil praktikum, skor 82,63 ˃ 65,00 berdasarkan nilai belajar, N-gain skor sebesar0,67 ˃ 0,30, kemampuan literasi sains 11,60 ˃ 11,00 poin masuk dalam kategori level 2, dan Aktif dalamproses pembelajaran dengan skor 2,93 ˃ 2,51. Pada uji skala luas siswa memperoleh skor 93,04 ˃ 75,00pada hasil praktikum, skor 86,37 ˃ 65,00 pada nilai belajar, N-gain skor sebesar 0,69 ˃ 0,30, kemampuanliterasi sains 19,92 ˃ 11,00 poin masuk dalam kategori level 2, dan sangat aktif dalam proses pembelajarandengan skor 3,48 ˃ 2,51. Berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut, penerapan media pembelajaran IPA berbasisliterasi sains efektif dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran skala terbatas dan luas. Hasil uji kepraktisanmedia pembelajaran IPA berbasis literasi sains berada pada kategori praktis dengan respons positif 86,75%untuk uji skala terbatas dan 87,88% untuk uji skala luas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapatdisimpulkan bahwa, pembelajaran materi benda dan sifatnya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaranIPA berbasis literasi sains di SD efektif dan praktis.

Abstract

It has been done, the research which aims to develop a web-based teaching materials on the subjects of physics subject with subject mater of temperature and heat. This study using a modified model of the 4D development by eliminating the deployment phase. The validation of product development conducted by validator media experts and experts matter of physics, whereas small-scale trials conducted by physics teacher and 10 students. Validator review results stating that the quality of the product development were included in the category very well with the average percentage rating of 83.93%. The percentage value assigned by media expert by 75% in the good category and the percentage of the value provided by a matter expert 92.85% were in the very good category. Experiments by physics teacher to obtain result of equal to 94.44% were in the very good category and the average percentage of the test results by the students of 90.5% were in the very good category. The characteristics of the products developed include material composition using the curriculum in 2013, there was a recording facility and the results of evaluation of students' activities, there were feedback evaluation results were immediately known by the students and there were some links related to the material either youtube or other learning website.

Abstract

This work investigated the effect of post-annealing treatment on the fabrication of zinc oxide (ZnO) thin film by spraying deposition method. Based on SEM analysis, the annealed ZnO thin film at 400˚C presented better uniformity as compared to the non-annealed film. Further measurement by UV-Vis revealed that the lowest optical band gap energy (Eg) (3.22 eV) was achieved by 400˚C sample. These results confirmed that post-annealing treatment enhanced the optical and morphological properties of the fabricated ZnO thin film.
