Abstract

Breakfast habit is an activity of eating and drinking in the morning before activities carried out > 4 times in one week. Although breakfast has an important role in supporting activities, many school children do not or rarely have breakfast. This study aims to analyze the relationship between breakfast habits and learning concentration of elementary school students at Kedungcangkring State Elementary School 1. This study used a type of quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. The population in this study amounted to 66 students and the sample amounted to 35 respondents using purposive sampling. The measuring instruments used were questionnaires and grid concentration tests. The analysis used is spearman rank correlation. The results showed that all had good and sufficient breakfast habits. More than half of the students have good and sufficient learning concentration. The results of cross tabulation showed that out of 35 respondents more than half of the students had good breakfast habits with good concentration (54.39%). The statistical test results show a significant value of p-value = 0,000 (<0,05) with a value of r=0.865 which means there is a relationship between breakfast habits and learning concentration of elementary school students at Kedungcangkring State Elementary School 1. It is hoped that this research can be a guideline for institutions in providing counseling on the importance of breakfast for school children and for parents to always provide breakfast with different menus every day.

Abstract

Breast milk is the most important nutrient for fulfilling the growth and development needs in infants. Obstacles during exclusive breastfeeding to infants are usually caused by non-breast milk and a lack of production of breast milk, which is usually due to insufficient stimulation of the prolactin and oxytocin hormones. The objective of this study was to determine breast milk production in postpartum mothers. Experimental research design using pre-experimental design in the form of the one-shot case study. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling, obtained a many as 26 respondents. This research was conducted in February-March 2024 at Dr. Soedono Madiun Hospital. The results found that breast milk production in mothers increased after Oketani massage. The breast milk will be 100% out when massage is done on day 1 afternoon and maximum on day 3 morning, when massage is done 2x a day. So this study states that this massage is very effective in increasing breast milk production. After this study, respondents already knew how to do breast care in the form of Oketani massage. And so that they can do this massage regularly at home, so that it can facilitate and increase breast milk production.

Abstract

Background : Elderly is someone older than 60 years who experiences several changes. Elderly health problems not only lie in the aspect of chronic or degenerative diseases, but the susceptibility to infection is quite high. Urine and alvi incontinence are problems that are often suffered by the elderly. Natural resources that can be used to develop diapers to reduce skin irritation are banana stems which are processed into powder. Research Objective : this is to develop adult diapers made from banana stem powder for elderly patients. Research Methods : This research design is Research and Development, with research procedures using ADDIE. This research was conducted at Griya Sakinah Nursing Home with 2 respondents and 6 media experts on January 27 - March 15, 2025. The research instruments used were expert validation and field trials. Research Results : this shows that the feasibility of expert validators is 84.23% and respondents are 88.23%. The results of the assessment of adult diaper products made from banana stem powder have met the criteria of being very feasible to use to help elderly patients. Conclusion : It is hoped that this adult diaper product made from banana stem powder can be used as an alternative to prevent skin irritation in the elderly.
