Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Scientific. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 4 tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, serta tahap refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas X-MIA 1 Putra karena berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru kelas, nilai ketuntasan siswa masih rendah dan pada saat peneliti melakukan observasi di kelas X-MIA 1 Putra SMA Muhammadiyah X Surabaya siswa masih kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa data pra-siklus siswa yaitu data nilai pretest diperoleh sebesar 6% siswa tuntas. Setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Scientific, diperoleh sebesar 64% siswa yang tuntas, hasil belajar siswa meningkat namun belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan maka dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II diperoleh sebesar 91 % siswa tuntas, maka hasil belajar siswa terdapat peningkatan dan telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Angket respon yang didapat, setelah diterapkannya model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Scientific diperoleh sebesar 72,73% dengan kriteria baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media Flashcard Math di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes tes tulis, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Banyaknya siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan 88,88%; (2) Aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran termasuk kategori aktif; (3) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sangat baik; dan (4) Respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran sangat positif. Oleh karena itu, penerapan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media Flashcard Math efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika pasa siswa kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan Pembelajaran Concept Attainment Model dengan menggunakan media Ecofindmat terhadap kemampuan berpikir intuitif matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah bangun ruang sisi datar di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Muhammadiyah 3 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain pre-test post-test group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan Concept Attainment Model dengan bantuan Media Ecofindmat berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir intuitif matematis siswa yang mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Skor rata-rata pada post-test secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan skor rata-rata pada pre-test, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir intuitif matematis setelah penerapan metode pembelajaran tersebut. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan t nilai post-test = 127.743 dengan α = 5% dan df = 24 adalah 1.711 dan nilai pre-test = 42.262 dengan α = 5% dan df = 24 adalah 1.711. Dimana jika = 1.711 < = 127.743 , maka ditolak dan diterima. = 1.711 < = 42.262 , maka ditolak dan diterima. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran dengan CAM berbantu Media Ecofindmat berpengaruh positif, dengan aktivitas siswa yang paling dominan adalah berdiskusi dengan kelompok sebesar 25.62%. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan Concept Attainment Model berbantu Media Ecofindmat sangat positif dengan persentase respon positif (Sangat Setuju dan Setuju) mencapai 92.68%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Concept Attainment Model dengan bantuan Media Ecofindmat berpengaruh positif dan terhadap kemampuan berpikir intuitif matematis siswa meningkat signifikan.

Abstract

This descriptive research with a qualitative approach aims to describe the level of mathematical literacy of junior high school students in solving mathematics problems in terms of gender differences. The research subjects consisted of six students with high, medium and low categories. The data collection techniques used were tests, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation techniques were used to analyze the results of written tests and interviews. The results showed that gender has an effect on solving math problems. Male students with low ability tended to give short answers without detailed explanations, while male students with medium and high ability were able to explain the solution steps better. Female students with low ability had difficulty in writing formulas and solution steps, while female students with medium and high ability could explain and write the solution method clearly. The difference in problem solving methods between male and female students can be seen in fulfilling the indicators of mathematical literacy based on Polya. Male students were able to mention four indicators of mathematical literacy compared to female students who were able to mention three indicators of the four indicators, but female students tended to be better at communicating the explanation of the problem solving. The difference in mathematical literacy of male students is equal to that of female students, with the difference lying in the ways and stages of solving the problems given.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SD Wali Idris, Tambaksari District, Surabaya City, with the subjects being fourth-grade students. The total number of students was 16, consisting of 10 boys and 6 girls. The object of the research was the teaching of Natural Science with the topic "Plants as a Source of Life. " The method used was the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach. The research process was carried out in three cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and analysis and reflection. The results of this study indicate that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method is effective for teaching Natural Science on the topic "Plants as a Source of Life" to fourth-grade students.

Abstract

The learning process is a system.achieving process standards to improve the quality of education can begin by analyzing each component that can shape and influence the learning process. However, the component that has long been considered to significantly influence the education process is the teacher. This is indeed reasonable, as teachers are the frontline individuals who directly interact with learners as subjects and objects of learning. In order to achieve learning objectives and manage the classroom to become a solid, communicative, and conducive team during the learning process, a teacher is expected to manage the learning process effectively. Based on this experience, the researcher aims to explore a teaching method that can involve learners more deeply in the learning process, making them interested in studying the Indonesian language and improving their learning outcomes. One solution is to implement the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Data collection procedures involve written tests and observations. The research results indicate that through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, there is a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of students in the expression of feelings material, with an increase of 28%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Tambaksari III/159 Surabaya through the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model in mathematics subjects, multiplication of whole numbers up to 100. Through this Problem Based Learning learning model, it is hoped that students will become more active. , directly involved in learning, enthusiasm and enthusiasm for participating in learning activities carried out by the teacher. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the type of research used in this research is classroom action research. Data collection methods consist of observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. Quantitative data is obtained from the results of students' formative tests at the end of learning. Qualitative data was obtained from observation data regarding the implementation of learning. The research results showed that 13 students scored above the KKTP or 86. 3% of students were declared complete, while 13. 7% had not yet completed. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, multiplication of whole numbers up to 100.

Abstract

The improve student learning outcomes through a project based learning model. This research is classroom action research with two assessments. The research subjects were 4th grade students at SD Negeri Margorejo III /405 Surabaya, totaling 32 students. The data collection techniques are: observation, documentation and tests. The analysis technique is an interactive analysis model, which consists of four components of the analysis process in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The average value of the class before using the project based learning model, namely pre-action, was cycle I rose to 81, 25% and in cycle II it rose to 93, 75%. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Margorejo III/405 Surabaya. This increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage of achievement of learning indicators which include oral communication, written communication and group communication. Therefore, the use of the project-model based learning can improve mastery of the concept of magnetic force and learning outcomes of grade 4 students at SD Negeri Margorejo III /405 Surabaya for the 2023/2024 academic year

Abstract

This research was carried out based on findings which showed that the 4C skills (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving) of class III students at Merarai 9th Elementary School were still low. The aim of this research is to improve the students' 4C skills. The learning model that can improve students' 4C skills to have 4C skills is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. A learning approach that can be integrated with the PBL model is the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) approach. The method used in the research is a quantitative method, while the design used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Based on the results of this research, the author applies the STEAM integrated PBL model in Indonesian language learning on the material on the Concept of Changes in the Form of Objects in class III of Merarai 9 State Elementary School. The results of the learning implementation show that the application of the STEAM integrated PBL model can improve the 4C abilities of third grade elementary school students. Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning syntax was implemented with a percentage of 100%. The posttest results showed that 90% of students achieved scores above the KBM.
