Abstract

Increasing knowledge is one thing that must be done as a promotive effort to increase knowledge in order to achieve optimal public health. Increasing knowledge about health is obtained from health education activities. In health education activities, a learning method is needed so that public understanding of the health material presented is maximized. One of the existing learning methods is deductive learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of understanding of health education if using the deductive learning method. The research design used was non-equivalent without control group. The sampling method was by purposive sampling with a sample size of 72 respondents with calculations based on research that had been conducted with the same title. The method of data collection was by measuring 2 times, namely measuring knowledge at the beginning before health education was carried out with the deductive learning method and measuring after health education activities. Data analysis with the Independent T-test analysis technique. The results of the study showed that the sig. (2-Tailed) value was 0.01 so that 0.01 <0.5, which shows that there is a positive influence of the use of the deductive learning method on increasing understanding of health education material. The conclusion of this study is that the deductive learning method can be used during the implementation of health education. The recommendation given is that health workers, especially nurses, use learning methods, one of which is the deductive method during health education activities. The implication for nursing is to always use the right learning method during the implementation of health education.   Abstrak Peningkatan pengetahuan merupakan satu hal yang harus dilakukan sebagai Upaya promotif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan agar tercapai derajat kesehatan Masyarakat yang optimal. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan didapat dari kegiatan Pendidikan kesehatan. Dalam kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan diperlukan suatu metode pembelajaran agar pemahaman masyarakat terkait materi kesehatan yang disampaikan maksimal. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang ada adalah pembelajaran deduktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Tingkat pemahaman pendidikan kesehatan jika menggunakan metode pembelajaran deduktif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan non ekuivalen without control group. Cara pengambilan sampelnya adalah dengan cara purposive sampling dengan besaran sampel yang digunakan adalah 72 responden dengan penghitungan berdasarkan penelitian yang pernah dilakukan dengan judul yang setipe. Cara pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pengukuran sebanyak 2 kali yaitu pengukukuran pengetahuan diawal sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode pembelajaran deduktif dan pengukuran setelah kegiatan Pendidikan kesehatan. Analisa Data dengan tehnik analisis Independent T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai sig. (2-Tailed) adalah 0,01 sehingga 0,01<0,5, dimana ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dari penggunaan metode pembelajaran deduktif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman materi pendidikan kesehatan. kesimpulan dari penetitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran deduktif dapat digunakan pada saat pelaksanaan Pendidikan kesehatan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat adalah menggunakan metode pembelajaran, salah satunya metode deduktif pada saat kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan. implikasi untuk keperawatan yaitu gunakan selalu metode pembelajaran yang tepat pada saat pelaksanaan Pendidikan kesehatan.

Abstract

An Nur Middle School is one of the junior high schools located in Gogik Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. Based on the results of the survey that we have conducted on partners, namely young women, they have never received information related to stunting, its causes and dangers. Young women have never received education about the importance of preventing stunting. Young women are the main target because they are the ones who will give birth to a healthy and stunting-free generation, young women must have knowledge and understanding of the causes and prevention of stunting. The implementation of this activity was carried out using the education method for young women at An Nur Ungaran Middle School. The number of young women who participated in the education activity was 37 respondents. The method of implementing this community service activity began with an assessment using a questionnaire before education was carried out (pre-test), then providing education about the Healthy Reproductive Response Movement as an effort to prevent stunting and ending with an evaluation in the form of an assessment with a questionnaire (post-test). The results of the percentage of respondent evaluations before being given education were in the category of less understanding as much as 34.93.6%, quite understanding 25.89%, good understanding 32.76% and very good 6.92%. Participants' understanding increased after being given education, which was included in the very good category of 39.05%, good 55.93%, sufficient 3.61% and lacking 1.41%. Based on the participant's understanding questionnaire, it was found that after being given education there was an increase in understanding of the material given by 95.4%.   ABSTRAK SMP An Nur merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang terletak di Desa Gogik Kecamatan Ungaran Timur Kabupaten Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil survey yang telah kami lakukan terhadap mitra yaitu remaja putri  belum pernah mendapatkan informasi terkait stunting, penyebab dan bahayanya. Remaja putri belum pernah mendapatkan edukasi tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting. Remaja putri menjadi sasaran utama karena mereka yang akan melahirkan generasi yang sehat dan bebas stunting, remaja putri harus memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang penyebab dan pencegahan terjadinya stunting. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang cara pencegahan stunting sejak dini. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode edukasi terhadap remaja putri di SMP An Nur Ungaran. Jumlah remaja putri yang mengikuti kegiatan edukasi yaitu 37 responden. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini diawali dengan memberikan penilaian menggunakan kuesioner sebelum dilakukan edukasi (pre test), selanjutnya pemberian edukasi gerakan tanggap sehat reproduksi serta diakhiri dengan evaluasi berupa penilaian dengan kuesioner (post test). Hasil persentase evaluasi responden sebelum diberikan edukasi masuk dalam kategori kurang paham sebanyak 34,93,6%, cukup paham 25,89%, pemahaman yang baik 32,76% dan sangat baik 6,92%. Pemahaman peserta mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan edukasi yaitu termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik sebesar 39,05%, baik 55,93%, cukup 3,61% dan kurang sebanyak 1,41%. Berdasarkan kuesioner pemahaman peserta diketahui bahwa setelah diberikan edukasi terdapat peningkatan pemahaman tentang materi yang diberikan sebesar 95,4%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini ada pengaruh pemberian edukasi kesehatan Gerakan Tanggap Sehat Reproduksi (RATASEKSI) pada Masa Remaja sebagai Upaya Pencehagan STUNTING (p value < α), (0,02 < 0,05)

Abstract

The corona virus or known as Covid-19 has become a pandemic disease because this virus has spread to various countries and is almost infecting all over the world, including Indonesia. WHO defines a pandemic as a condition of the world's population and the potential to cause falls and illness. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on various sectors of life such as the economy, education and social life. Covid-19 cases in the city of Semarang as of August 17, 2021, there were 84,978 confirmed cases, 197 confirmed cases, 65,396 recovered cases and 4,307 deaths. Sambiroto Village is included in the yellow zone. In the Sambiroto sub-district, not a few have also experienced Covid-19, although without showing symptoms of the disease, it has an impact on the psychology of the residents. Various psychological reactions shown by residents with the presence of Covid-19, ranging from mild anxiety to stress/panic. The purpose of this community service is to provide psychological/ social encouragement to post-Covid-19 sufferers so that they lead to adaptive behavior. The results of the service showed that most of the participants were women, the most type of work was housewives, the most education was high school and psychological/ social support was able to reduce the level of anxiety in residents in the Sambiroto village, Semarang City.

Abstract

Readiness to improve health management is one of the nursing problems in the behavioral category and a subcategory of counseling and learning regarding the pattern of regulation and integration of health programs into daily life that is sufficient to meet health goals. Health achievement in the elderly with chronic diseases can be improved by health education. Readiness of health management in the elderly group with chronic or degenerative diseases can occur, provided that the elderly are willing to take part in the treatment program and are curious about their own care. The purpose of providing health education has an influence on the readiness of better health management towards optimal health. The implementation method is carried out by health education including health counseling, providing alternative sources of information, as well as teaching a healthy lifestyle, and nursing therapy therapy according to problems and fulfillment of psychological health. The results of the activity show that most of the elderly have nursing problems in the prosperous category as evidenced by the level of good knowledge about their illness as much as 83% and where the elderly have understood their own care for chronic diseases. Health education is given to support the achievement of optimal health and the provision of comprehensive care. the conclusion of the activity is that all groups, both groups of nursing problems in the categories of disorders, risks and prosperity, still require health education to support health. Abstract

The SETS vision dakon game is a form of traditional game combined with a learning process by linking science, environment, technology, and society. With the SETS vision dakon game, it is hoped that teachers will be able to instill character values ​​during distance learning because this game can be done at home. The method used is community development through the following stages: 1) preparation; 2) introduction; 3) implementation; 4) monitoring; and 5) evaluation. The results of this PkM show that the character values ​​that have been embedded in the sixth grade students of SDN Susukan are 1) honest as much as 90.9% in the very good category, 2) intelligent as much as 63.6% in the good category, 3) fair as much as 77, 2% in good category, 4) cooperation as much as 86.3% in very good category, 5) firm as much as 68.1% in good category, 6) imagination as much as 59% with good enough category, 7) ambitious as much as 100% with very good category, 8) brave as much as 81.8% with very good category, and 9) attention as much as 86.3% with very good category.

Abstract

Depression is a growing mental health concern among university students, often fueled by academic pressure, social demands, and personal stress. This study presents the development of an expert system using the Certainty Factor (CF) method to diagnose depression specifically among students at Ngudi Waluyo University. The system categorizes depression into mild, moderate, and severe levels based on 12 validated symptom statements and expert-defined diagnostic rules. Implemented with PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, the system offers a user-friendly, accessible, and anonymous platform for self-assessment. Testing yielded an accuracy rate of up to 79% in diagnosing depression severity and a 71.7% user satisfaction rate based on a User Acceptance Test (UAT) involving 32 students. Results demonstrate that the system can effectively support early detection and mental health awareness within academic environments. Despite some limitations in UI and feedback depth, the expert system shows strong potential for broader application and further enhancement.

Abstract

The elderly are an age group that is very susceptible to insomnia. A Javanese proverb says that the elderly will "ngerti dowone bengi", because many elderly people experience sleep disorders such as difficulty starting to sleep, waking up in the middle of sleep and difficulty going back to sleep or waking up in the early hours of the morning which is called insomnia and this interferes with the quality of sleep in the elderly. There are several nursing interventions to improve sleep quality in the elderly, one of which is doing personal hygiene before going to bed. Personal hygiene that is done before going to bed is known as sleep hygiene. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sleep hygiene on sleep quality in the elderly who experience insomnia. The research design used was pre-experimental. A sample of 46 elderly respondents who experienced insomnia was taken using purposive sampling techniques. Measurement of sleep quality in the elderly with insomnia was carried out before and after the intervention, namely sleep hygiene for 21 days. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon analysis technique. The results showed that there was a positive effect of the application of sleep hygiene on the quality of sleep in the elderly who experienced insomnia (α <0.5). The conclusion of this study is that sleep hygiene can be used in the elderly with insomnia problems. Nurses are recommended to motivate the implementation of sleep hygiene in patients or clients who experience insomnia. Implications for nursing are the implementation of sleep hygiene in elderly clients with insomnia.   ABSTRAK Lanjut usia  adalah kelompok usia yang sangat rentan mengalami masalah insomnia. Pepatah Jawa mengatakan lansia akan “ngerti dowone bengi”, karena banyak lansia mengalami gangguan tidur seperti susah untuk memulai tidur, bangun ditengah waktu tidur dan susah untuk tidur kembali atau terbangun saat masih dini hari yang disebut insomnia dan ini mengganggu kualitas tidur lansia. Intervensi keperawatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada lansia ada beberapa dan salah satunya melakukan kebersihan diri sebelum tidur. Kebersihan diri yang dilakukan sebelum tidur dikenal dengan sleep hygiene. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh sleep hygiene terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia yang mengalami insomnia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen. Sampel sebanyak 46 responden lansia yang mengalami insomnia yang diambil dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Pengukuran  kualitas tidur lansia dengan insomnia dilakukan sebelum dan sudah intervensi yaitu sleep higiene selama 21 hari. Analisa Data dengan tehnik analisis wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dari penerapan sleep higiene terhadap kualitas tidur lansia yang mengalami insomnia (α<0,5). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sleep higiene dapat digunakan pada lansia dengan masalah insomnia. Perawat direkomendasikan untuk memotivasi penerapan sleep hygiene pada pasien atau klien yang mengalami insomnia. Implikasi untuk keperawatan adalah penerapan sleep hygiene pada klien  lansia insomnia.

Abstract

An Nur Junior High School is located in Gogik Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. According to a survey we conducted, adolescent girls—our primary focus group—have not previously received information regarding self-awareness (self-efficacy) in stunting prevention, nor have they been educated on the use of iron supplements, commonly referred to as “beautiful pills,” as a preventive measure. These young women have yet to be exposed to educational efforts aimed at utilizing beautiful pills to reduce the risk of stunting.Adolescent girls were chosen as the main target group because they represent future mothers who will bear the next generation, making it crucial that they are equipped with the knowledge and understanding necessary to prevent stunting. Community involvement is essential to effectively implement and promote the use of beautiful pills among this demographic.This initiative was carried out through an educational approach involving 35 female students from An Nur Junior High School. Prior to the educational session, an assessment of participants' understanding showed that 35.47% had low awareness, 28.54% had a moderate level of understanding, 30.12% demonstrated good understanding, and only 5.87% fell into the very good category. After the educational intervention, there was a marked improvement: 40.14% of participants reached the excellent category, 52.01% showed good understanding, 5.33% were categorized as sufficient, and only 2.62% remained with low understanding. Based on the post-education questionnaire, overall comprehension of the material increased by 97.48%.   ABSTRAK SMP An Nur merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang berlokasi di Desa Gogik, Kecamatan Ungaran Timur, Kabupaten Semarang. Berdasarkan survei yang telah kami lakukan terhadap mitra sasaran, yaitu remaja putri, diketahui bahwa mereka belum pernah memperoleh informasi mengenai kesadaran diri (self-efficacy) dalam mencegah stunting serta pemanfaatan pil tambah darah (dikenal juga sebagai pil cantik) sebagai salah satu langkah pencegahan stunting. Hingga saat ini, edukasi mengenai penggunaan pil cantik sebagai bagian dari upaya pencegahan stunting belum pernah diberikan kepada mereka. Remaja putri menjadi kelompok sasaran utama karena di masa depan mereka akan berperan sebagai ibu yang melahirkan generasi penerus, sehingga penting bagi mereka untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang memadai mengenai penyebab serta langkah-langkah pencegahan stunting. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, diperlukan dukungan dari masyarakat dalam mengimplementasikan penggunaan pil cantik secara efektif di kalangan remaja putri. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui metode edukasi yang menyasar remaja putri di SMP An Nur Ungaran, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 35 orang. Hasil evaluasi sebelum dilakukan edukasi menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta masih rendah, dengan rincian: 35,47% tergolong kurang paham, 28,54% cukup paham, 30,12% memahami dengan baik, dan hanya 5,87% yang sangat paham. Setelah dilakukan edukasi, terjadi peningkatan signifikan, di mana 40,14% peserta masuk dalam kategori sangat baik, 52,01% baik, 5,33% cukup, dan hanya 2,62% yang masih kurang. Berdasarkan kuesioner evaluasi, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap materi edukasi sebesar 97,48%.

Abstract

Training is a learning activity that aims to improve cognitive and psychomotor abilities. This ability improvement aims to be able to apply what has been trained. One of the trainings that can be given to the community is non-pharmacological therapy training. The skills to carry out non-pharmacological therapy can be used to overcome symptoms or handle health problems as an initial nursing action. Several non-pharmacological therapies based on evidence-based practice are widely used to maintain mental health and overcome anxiety. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability to recognize anxiety problems, carry out several non-pharmacological therapies as a prevention effort that can later be used to overcome mental health problems experienced, especially anxiety, and share the skills possessed with other community members. The method used in this service activity is to start with an in-depth interview, then a participatory method and training. The results obtained from this service activity are the needs of the community related to the problem of maintaining health, especially mental health, community participation in activities and the implementation of training activities with the results of an increase in the level of skills in carrying out good non-pharmacological therapy reaching 85.96% and maximum participation with 100% attendance. The main conclusion of this community service activity is that training activities, especially non-pharmacological training, will improve skills as an effort to maintain community mental health.   ABSTRAK Pelatihan merupakan suatu kegiatan pembelajaran yang bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pada kognitif sekaligus psikomotor. Peningkatan kemampuan ini memiliki tujuan agar mampu mengaplikasikan apa yang sudah dilatihkan. Salah satu pelatihan yang bisa diberikan kepada masyarakat adalah pelatihan terapi nonfarmakologi. Keterampilan melakukan terapi nonfarmakologi dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi gejala atau penanganan masalah kesehatan sebagai tindakan keperawatan awal. Beberapa terapi nonfarmakologi berdasarkan evidencebased practice banyak digunakan untuk menjaga kesehatan mental dan mengatasi kecemasan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengenali masalah kecemasan, melakukan beberapa terapi nonfarmakologi sebagai Upaya pengahan yang nantinya bisa digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan mental yang dialami khususnya kecemasan dan membagi ketrampilan yang dimiliki kepada anggota Masyarakat lainnya. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabian ini adalah diawali dengan in depth interview selanjutnya metode partisipasif serta pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah diketahui kebutuhan masyarakat terkait masalah menjaga kesehatan khususnya kesehatan mental, partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan dan terlaksana kegiatan pelatihan dengan hasil peningkatan tingkat ketrampilan melakukan terapi nonfarmakologi yang baik mencapai 85,96% serta partisipasi yang maksimal dengan kehadiran 100%. Kesimpulan utama dari kegiatan pengabian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah kegiatan pelatihan khususnya pelatihan nonfarmakologi akan meningkatkan ketrampilan sebagai Upaya menjaga kesehatan mental Masyarakat.
