Abstract

The era of society 5.0 brought changes to working, this change became a challenge and opportunity for students. Where students are required to be able to keep up with rapid technological advances, this era demans students to be skilled and ability technology and information in various sectors of career and be able to adapt occupation. The ability to make career decisions is an important skill that students must have in the era of society 5.0. Group counseling based on social cognitive career theory can be a model of guidance and counseling services to improve students' career decision-making abilities. This study uses research and development methods involving 484 students, teachers and education practitioners to develop and obtain a hypothetical model. Data collection in this study through interviews, questionnaires and Career Decision Making Self Efficacy Scale. This research produces group counseling model based on social cognitive career theory to improve student career decision making in the society 5.0 era. The process and results of model development are further discussed in this article.

Abstract

Abstrak. The causes of someone committing self-injury are lack of self-love, lack of ability to think about the impact of the actions taken, lack of understanding of emotional changes, lack of self-confidence to change for the better, and other alternatives in solving a problem. That requires intervention that can meet these psychological needs. The research's purpose is to know the impact of the application on the Basic Dimensions of Positive Existential-Humanistic in Fulfilling the Psychological Needs of Self-Injury Actors. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design. Research subjects: five teenagers or adults who did self-injury, female, 16-21 years old. The results of this study are: There is an effect of applying positive basic dimensions in the Humanistic Extension intervention in fulfilling the psychological needs of self-injury perpetrators. When the intervention is given by focusing more on the positive basic dimensions of the human being, the Need for Attachment, the need for Control or Orientation, the need for Pleasure/Pain Avoidance, and the need for Self-Enhancement will be met.

Abstract

Abstract. Based on the results of previous studies, informing that parents who have children with developmental disorders experience greater parenting stress than parents who care for normal children. Mothers experience more parenting stress than fathers. This study aims to determine the factors that cause the emergence of parenting stress in mothers. To obtain these data, the researchers used a systematic literature review of international journals (data base: Sage, Science Direct, Emerald Insight, Taylor and Francis) in 2011-2021. This method is what distinguishes this research from previous research. Previous research, in looking for factors using interviews. The result of SLR is that there are internal factors (example: understanding of diagnosis, coping strategies) and external factors (example: family resilience, social support of friends) that form parenting stress on mothers. Therefore, the suggestion for future researchers is to provide interventions that are able to suppress the emergence of factors. For example with cognitive behavior therapy intervention.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the problems of basic learner in the digital era is the lack of self acceptance as the result of digital technology development. This conditions require innovative career guidance in assisting basic learners to undergo and design careers for educational levels and job opportunities that suitable to their own conditions. This research used qualitative research method. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman pattern, including data reduction, data display, then drawing conclusion. The results of this research are : (1) Tepo seliro - based career guidance as an innovation in growing self-compassion for basic learners of the digital era by provide career information that suitable to personal conditions, family career background as a personal approach, and recognize individual differences in career choice; (2) The supporting factors of Tepo seliro - based career guidance consist of both manual and digital information and examples that are accessed by basic learners of the digital era, the success story of public figures that are easily accessible, and popular targets. Meanwhile, the obstacle factors consisit of desire that does not measure ability, ambition without steps to achieve achievement, result-oriented social demands. The importance of research is to find innovations for growing self-compassion through tepa-selira based career guidance for basic learners of the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract. The rapidly changing world of work as the result of globalization in the industrial era 4.0 causes college graduates to feel anxious, insecure, and filled with feelings of uncertainty in determining career choices. Jobs are not guaranteed availability. There is now, tomorrow is gone, so it is difficult to predict whether today's jobs will be secure in the future. The era of disruption makes it difficult for individuals to control their own career destiny. Students need information and a comprehensive picture of themselves and the world of work they will be living in so that they are able to make the right career decisions. The career construction counseling model is considered a career counseling model that is very appropriate in dealing with the world of work in the 21st century or the disruption era. The purpose of this study is to explain how the effectiveness of career counseling career construction counseling model can help students to increase career adaptability so that they can immediately get the desired job after graduation, graduating on time, and be able to adapt in various changes that occur in the world of work when they have worked. This research uses literature studies research method. In this research data collection is carried out by studying and analyzing international journals and books that are considered relevant to the research. The results showed that career construction counseling effective in increasing career adaptability as well as to reduce anxiety, doubt, and uncertainty in career choice.

Abstract

Character education is an important part to be improved by school counselors through guidance and counseling services. One of the virtues that forms the basis for the development of other virtues is humility. Individuals who have high humility will be humble, kind, forgiving, and have high prosociality, on the other hand, individuals with low humility tend to be arrogant, arrogant, narcissistic and powerful so they are prone to conflict between friends. This study describes the humble character of students and their implications for counseling services. This systematic literature review begins with formulating research questions, objectives, compiling inclusion and exclusion criteria, searching for articles through databases, analyzing and reporting. Article search results are sorted and inputted in a prism diagram which is then presented per articleThe intellectual development of humility is used as a preventive effort in managing conflict and increasing many strengths such as gratitude, kindness, self-compassion, forgiveness, responsibility, discipline, integrity, and other good characters. Implications and suggestions for further research are described in this article.

Abstract

Training participants’ satisfaction can be achieved by providing good quality service. Therefore, Semarang Training Centre of Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) as a training service provider must focus on the satisfaction of training participants as consumers. Good service performance and the fulfillment of training participants' expectations will greatly affect the satisfaction of the users. This study aims to identify differences between the reality and expectations of the training participants for the services of the training providers and to analyze the quality of training services provided by training providers with service quality and zone of tolerance methods. Based on the value in servqual method, it was found that the quality of the training committee's service providers has satisfied the training participants as customers in high score. Whereas the value with the ZoT method found that out of the 15 services attributes of the training committee, there were 13 service attributes that had been tolerated by the training participants. The other two attributes cannot be tolerated by training participants as customers and must be repaired immediately.

Abstract

Every santri (student in an Islamic boarding school) has the same rights in achieving education, attention, and affection. All pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) ideally encourage santri to develop spiritual well-being. However, not all pesantren provide psycho-Sufistic counseling. This descriptive qualitative study aims to describe the implementation of psycho-Sufistic Islamic counseling at pesantren Qudsiyah Kudus. The data analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction and categorization, data display, and conclusion. This study found that implementing Islamic counseling with a psycho-Sufistic approach at pesantren Qudsiyah Kudus could strengthen four domains of spiritual well-being santri, namely personal, communal, environmental, and transcendental. In the personal domain, santri showed sensitivity to self-identity, self-awareness, happiness in life, inner peace mentally and spiritually, and making sense of life. While in the communal domain, santri developed in terms of loving someone, forgiving others, believing in others, respecting others, and doing good to others. In addition, from the environmental domain, santri transformed the characters of uniting with nature, be amazed by God's creatures, blend with the natural environment, feel a sense of wonder with the environment, and harmony with the environment. Lastly, from the transcendental domain, santri improved spirituality such as worship God, pray to God, have faith in God, always being grateful, and praying for God's pleasure.

Abstract

Low self-efficacy can negatively affect academic achievement in vocational school students. In this way, this current research attempted to examine the implementation of group counseling with a self-instruction technique to students’ self-efficacy by changing irrational thinking into the rational one. It used a pretest-posttest control group design. Here, students’ data were collected using the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES). Previously, the sixteen students were divided into, namely  students in the experimental group and eight others in the control group. The students’ data were analyzed using the mixed anova. Based on the findings, the implementation of the group counseling with a self-instruction technique has been effective for increasing self-efficacy in vocational school students. Thus, counselors are recommended to apply a self-instruction technique to increase self-efficacy.
