Abstract

Wilayah Indonesia merupakan daerah rawan gempa dengan macam-macam gempa seperti gempa tektonik maupun gempa vulkanik. Indonesia merupakan daerah pertemuan antara 3 lempeng yaitu Eurasia, Hindia-Australia, dan pasifik. Pertemuan tiga lempeng ini dikenal dengan subduksi, dimana proses pergerakan dan tumbukan dari tiga lempeng ini menyebabkan terbentuknya palung dan merupakan distribusi paling besar dari adanya gempa bumi. Indonesia termasuk dalam lingkungan cincin api (ring of fire) yang memiliki potensi bencana alam cukup tinggi karena berada diantara wilayah lintasan dua jalur pegunungan, yaitu pegunungan Sirkum Pasifik dan Sirkum Mediterania. Hal tersebut menyebabkan gempa dapat terjadi secara tiba-tiba pada daerah yang terkena dari dampak getaran gempa yang dirasakan. Banyak korban jiwa yang tidak dapat menyelamatkan diri karena terjebak disuatu tempat atau minimnya pemberitahuan akan informasi gempa yang terjadi pada lokasi tersebut. Dengan kondisi ini penulis tertarik untuk membuat sebuah prototype untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut, dengan cara membuat sistem peringatan gempa menggunakan sensor accelerometer ADXL 345. Parameter pengujian alat ini berupa ketukan dalam jarak yang sama tetapi menggunakan beban yang berbeda-beda untuk rekayasa gempa. Secara garis besar alat ini bekerja mulai dari sensor accelerometer ADXL 345 yang mendeteksi adanya getaran kemudian di olah ke dalam besaran Skala Richter oleh ESP 32. Selanjutnya digunakan LoRa sx1278 sebagai media komunikasi lalu ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik menggunakan Ubidots untuk monitoring. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bahwa sistem pendeteksi gempa bumi dan peringatangempa bumi berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan sistem dan dapat memberikan peringatan ketika terjadi gempa bumi. Hasil pembacaan sistem tersebut dapat mendeteksi sebuah getaran, semakin jauh letak tumbukan maka akan mempengaruhi grafik besaran dari kekuatan getaran tersebut.

Abstract

Motor listrik  dapat didefenisikan sebagai sebuah instrument yang memanfaatkan listrik sebagai energi utamanya kemudian energi tersebut diubah menjadi energi mekanik. Motor ini juga dimanfaatkan diberbagai industry yang salah satunya pemanfaatnya dapat dilihat pada PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) khususnya pada Unit Urea 2. Penggunaan rele diharapkan untuk membantu motor listrik dalam proteksi arus lebih. Walaupun rele sangat penting dalam proteksi, umumnya rele tidak pernah mendapat perhatian terutama saat pemeliharaannya. Analisis dibutuhkan untuk menjadi Solusi agar rele tidak cepat mengalami kerusakan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisa Daya Semu (S), waktu yang dibutuhkan rele untuk memproteksi saat arus lebih terjadi (T), Arus Semu (I), dan Arus berlebih yang diatur pada OCR ( ).  Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa rele wajib mendapatkan perawatan karena Arus OCR mengalami peningkatan 4,5% dari arus OCR yang dapat diproteksi.

Abstract

Undang Undang Nomor 11 tahun 2008 tentang Informasi Transaksi Elektronik atau UU ITE merupakan undang-undang atau peraturan yang sering kali bersentuhan langsung dengan berbagai orang, terutama pada era teknologi yang sedang berkembang saat ini. Secara umum, UU ITE masih belum tersosialisasikan dengan baik ke semua kalangan, termasuk pada kalangan siswa/siswi Sekolah Menengah Atas. Oleh karena itu, SMA Negeri 4 Lhokseumawe menjadi sasaran tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Malikussaleh sebagai sarana untuk mensosialisasikan UU ITE. Hal ini dianggap penting karena pada saat ini kalangan muda (terutama siswa/siswi SMA) tidak terpisahkan dari teknologi internet. Sehingga perlu disampaikan bahwa ada sanksi atau hukuman yang berlaku apabila tidak waspada dalam memakai internet. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diharapkan menjadi pembelajaran bagi siswa/siswi maupun guru-guru di SMA Negeri 4 Lhokseumawe agar lebih cerdas dan bijak dalam memakai internet, terutama untuk mencegah penyebaran berita hoax melalui social media maupun aplikasi chatting. Dari hasil sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa/siswi dan guru SMA Negeri 4 Lhokseumawe mengenai UU ITE masih rendah, sehingga sosialisasi ini diharapkan menjadi pembekalan agar mereka dapat waspada dalam menggunakan internet, terutama untuk menangkal berita hoax.

Abstract

Communication is the primary needs of the daily life. As human, communication is important. Through communication, some process of the message is exchanged between the sender and the recipient. The rapid advancement of information technology make security has become an important aspect of the communication, especially when it involves confidential messages. The presence of cryptography has proven to secure these secret messages by encrypting them into a form that cannot be easily understood. Additionally, the technique of steganography allows secret messages to be embedded into digital image, thereby enhancing the security of these messages. The Spritz Algorithm and Bit Plane Complexity Segmentation (BPCS) Technique are the methods of cryptography and steganography that can secure the secret messages, with the  embedding message capacity is 20% up to 60% of the cover media’s size. The results of these combination  are represented in a table that includes the plaintext, key length, ciphertext, and the size of the generated stego image.

Abstract

The use of digital gadgets in daily life has been ingrained in the lives of children, even toddlers, as information and communication technology progresses. This age group faces serious hazards associated to cyber vulnerability even while simple access to technology presents chances for learning and cognitive growth.Thus, this study is doing to collect the report about all threads already happens in Indonesia. The strategy classified into three approach: person (parents who have responsibility for the children), technology security (digital product itself), and regulation addressed to a more effective mitigation strategies in addressing cyber vulnerability among the children of Indonesia.

Abstract

Coconut oil processing Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is oil that is processed in a simple way without involving synthetic chemicals. Production methods that are commonly carried out on a household scale or micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) include the method of fishing, salting, and fermentation, the Coal Mazzuri industry in Ujung Kubu village produces coconut oil processing Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). in terms of suppliers to sales so that the raw materials needed do not experience shortages and can facilitate customers in ordering, from the problems faced by researchers implementing Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategies are supply chain management, manufacturing, warehouse/storage, and shops or traders retail, so that the results of this research can help the Coal Mazzuri industry, both in the production and distribution of products that are ready for consumption.

Abstract

Load variations found in PT PLN Persero customers, such as resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads, can potentially affect the error rate in kWh meter readings. To determine the error rate of kWh meter readings, it is necessary to compare the reading data from each kWh meter with the measurement data from a 6-in-1 multimeter display. This involves comparing the prepaid digital kWh meter, the postpaid semi-digital kWh meter, and the postpaid analog kWh meter, all assembled in series. Based on the test results, the average reading error rate for resistive loads was found to be 0,11% for the prepaid digital kWh meter, 6,91% for the postpaid semi-digital kWh meter, and 0,36% for the postpaid analog kWh meter. For inductive loads, the average reading error rate was 0,36% for the prepaid digital kWh meter, 7,00% for the postpaid semi-digital kWh meter, and 0,27% for the postpaid analog kWh meter. For capacitive loads, the average reading error rate was 0,09% for the prepaid digital kWh meter, 7,52% for the postpaid semi-digital kWh meter, and 0,62% for the postpaid analog kWh meter. This research is important for the electricity supply industry because the accuracy of electrical energy measurement is a key factor in maintaining operational efficiency and improving tariff fairness for customers.

Abstract

The traditional grading methods used for laboratory courses often fail to capture the nuances of student performance, overlooking the contributions of attendance, lab report quality, lab skills, midterm exams, and final exams. To address this shortcoming, this study introduces a novel grading approach that employs fuzzy logic, specifically the Fuzzy Mamdani technique, to produce more comprehensive and accurate final grades. Using a dataset comprising 26 students, our study demonstrates the effectiveness of the Fuzzy Mamdani approach in determining final grades, revealing a range from 20.01 to 87.98. The crisp output values produced highlight the adaptability and accuracy of the method in evaluating complex educational processes. By applying fuzzy logic to laboratory course grading, we bridge a significant research gap and contribute to a deeper understanding of how this technology can enhance educational assessments, particularly in specialized settings like laboratories. This study paves the way for more nuanced and equitable grading practices, ensuring that students receive grades that accurately reflect their overall performance.

Abstract

This reasearch is aimed to observe the comparison of CSRRs performance on Antenna Patch and Ground Plane so that the Antenna can be implemented in ADS-B frequency.  The CSRR outer dimension is 13 mm x 10 mm and  the inner dimension is 9 mm x 6 mm, obtained  of Return loss and VSWR simulation are respectively -13.7860 dan 1.5141. The iteration is done after the CSRR is added to its Patch and ground plane so that return losses  are -10,329 dB and -13,554 dB and the VSWRs  obtained were 1.8755 and 1.5317. In addition, the redution of Patch and Ground plane dimensions also is occurred when CSRR is on Patch by 18.5% and 30.2%, reduction Patch and Ground plane dimension occurred when CSRR is on Ground plane by 24.1% and 23.16%.  Etched on Patch and Ground plane, CSRRs effect Bandwidth, Bandwicth decreases at 0.015 GHz at CSRRs on patch and increases at 0.040 GHz whereas Bandwidth is 0025 GHz before CSRRs is etched.
