Abstract

This research based by the weak received signal received by the Mobile Station (MS) caused loss propagation trajecktory  which allows the impending failure of calls and data connections. The purpose of this research is todiscover the impairment power received by MS. Monitored from the value of Rx Level and knowing the propagation model of Padang city urban areas in general.The method of measurement used is a Test Drive using TEMS Investigations software version 8.0. then analyzed with empirical models and models Okumura Hata, the results of the analysis compared with the standard value of Rx Level. This research was conducted in the morning and evening for five days.The analysis showed: (1) The signal quality measurements on base stations Terandam in average -81.6 dBm, and Hata model calculations on average -79.66 dBm, Okumura models average of -78.47 dBm, then the signal quality in good condition, BTS Simpang Haru is an average measurement of -82.7 dBm, and Hata model calculations on average -86.49 dBm, Okumura models average of -81.43 dBm, then the signal quality in good condition and the BTS Cendana Andalas in average measurement -80.03 dBm, and Hata model calculations on average -90.05 dBm, Okumura models average of -86.19 dBm, then the signal quality in a state of being. (2) Empirically propagation model for urban areas is a desert city in BTS Terandam Hata models, while BTS Simpang Haru and Sandalwood Andalas is a model Okumura. (3) Creep waves are blocked and then undergo reflection resulting trajectory taken further and further away, the received signal varies causing fluctuations in the signal and trigger fading, and failure in call and data. Keywords: MS, Rx Level, Drive Test, TEMS Investigation, transmitter, receiver and diffraction

Abstract

Providing a return line for short-circuit currents or fault currents to a low-resistance ground, a grounding system is useful for achieving a uniform potential voltage over a given area of buildings and equipment. Because a large voltage difference can occur if a fault current is forced to ground against high resistance. Placement of the electrode to be planted is one of the elements to obtain a low grounding resistance value. Grounding resistance measurements, which will serve as a guide for the grounding system design process, are required during the planning stage for certain types of grounding systems. The problem is how the grounding resistance is affected by the buried depth of the rod conductor and the soil-type resistance. Therefore, it is very important to conduct research and testing to determine the extent to which these parameters influence. The experimental results of measuring resistance on dry and wet soils are on dry soil 30 cm obtained 98.48 Ω, 60 cm obtained 37.07 Ω, 90 cm obtained 20.52 Ω, 120 cm obtained 19.77 Ω, and for wet soil at a depth of 30 cm obtained 43.34 Ω, 60 cm obtained 22.21 Ω, 90 cm obtained 15.43 Ω, 120 cm obtained 11.66 Ω.

Abstract

Food availability has an important role in the resilience and continuity of community life. The agricultural, especially in particular, potatoes, sweet potatoes, soybeans, vegetables, corn, onions, chilies and beans. Water is the main source. Realizing agricultural results, a lack of air supply will certainly have a negative impact on agricultural results that are not optimal. The dry season that hits will have an impact on air shortages, this will of course cause crop failure, making farmers lose money. Various efforts have been made to minimize these losses, one of which is by providing water pumps in their agricultural areas. Utilizing the pump requires continuous electrical energy as the main source to operate it, this will also have an impact on the costs incurred by farmers. The amount of electrical energy produced at the plant is greatly influenced by the optimal configuration factor for placing wind turbines at the location. The value of the optimal configuration is seen based on the high productivity of the electrical energy produced. This research will optimize the placement of wind turbines using 3D–5D and 5D–9D turbine configurations. Temporary research results show that the most optimal configuration is using the 5D–9D model with an energy production cost of 6,083 rupiah per year, and the daily electrical energy produced is 308.08 kilowatts.

Abstract

Petir merupakan fenomena alam dengan arus dan tegangan yang sangat tinggi. Pada tahun 2023, daerah di Indonesia rata – rata tersambar berkisar lebih 15.000 sampai 60.000  kali sambaran. Efek sambaran petir dapat merusak jaringan listrik, dan kebakaran, untuk mencegah petir mengenai jaringan listrik diperlukan penangkal petir. Efek sambaran petir akan dihitung kebutuhan proteksi penangkal petir dengan indeks–indeks PUIPP, Penentuan tingkat proteksi bangunan berdasarkan SNI 03-7015-2004, jarak proteksi zonasi jarak proteksi penangkal petir menggunakan Metode Zona Proteksi Razevig dengan beberapa ketinggian bangunan bertingkat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh menurut indeks – indeks penentu PUIPP Gedung bertingkat yang dibangun pada titik koordinat Bukit Indah dengan radius 10 km sangat dianjurkan untuk terpasang sistem proteksi penangkal petir karena intensitas sambaran petir di daerah tersebut terbilang tinggi, gedung bertingkat yang dibangun di daerah Bukit Indah masuk kedalam Tingkat Proteksi II dan IV, Pada metode Zona Proteksi Razevig didapatkankan semakin rendah suatu bangunan akan semakin tinggi radius proteksi dari penangkal petir yang akan dipasang

Abstract

Wilayah Indonesia merupakan daerah rawan gempa dengan macam-macam gempa seperti gempa tektonik maupun gempa vulkanik. Indonesia merupakan daerah pertemuan antara 3 lempeng yaitu Eurasia, Hindia-Australia, dan pasifik. Pertemuan tiga lempeng ini dikenal dengan subduksi, dimana proses pergerakan dan tumbukan dari tiga lempeng ini menyebabkan terbentuknya palung dan merupakan distribusi paling besar dari adanya gempa bumi. Indonesia termasuk dalam lingkungan cincin api (ring of fire) yang memiliki potensi bencana alam cukup tinggi karena berada diantara wilayah lintasan dua jalur pegunungan, yaitu pegunungan Sirkum Pasifik dan Sirkum Mediterania. Hal tersebut menyebabkan gempa dapat terjadi secara tiba-tiba pada daerah yang terkena dari dampak getaran gempa yang dirasakan. Banyak korban jiwa yang tidak dapat menyelamatkan diri karena terjebak disuatu tempat atau minimnya pemberitahuan akan informasi gempa yang terjadi pada lokasi tersebut. Dengan kondisi ini penulis tertarik untuk membuat sebuah prototype untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut, dengan cara membuat sistem peringatan gempa menggunakan sensor accelerometer ADXL 345. Parameter pengujian alat ini berupa ketukan dalam jarak yang sama tetapi menggunakan beban yang berbeda-beda untuk rekayasa gempa. Secara garis besar alat ini bekerja mulai dari sensor accelerometer ADXL 345 yang mendeteksi adanya getaran kemudian di olah ke dalam besaran Skala Richter oleh ESP 32. Selanjutnya digunakan LoRa sx1278 sebagai media komunikasi lalu ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik menggunakan Ubidots untuk monitoring. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bahwa sistem pendeteksi gempa bumi dan peringatangempa bumi berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan sistem dan dapat memberikan peringatan ketika terjadi gempa bumi. Hasil pembacaan sistem tersebut dapat mendeteksi sebuah getaran, semakin jauh letak tumbukan maka akan mempengaruhi grafik besaran dari kekuatan getaran tersebut.

Abstract

MTsN 1 Kota Lhokseumawe merupakan sekolah di bawah Kementerian Agama yang cenderung tertinggal dalam hal perkembangan teknologi dibandingkan sekolah-sekolah umum di bawah Kemendikbud. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai media pembelajaran pengenalan objek geometri berbasis Android. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran Smart Education, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi AR untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi geometri dalam mata pelajaran Matematika. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi, koordinasi, dan pengumpulan data melalui teknik analisis data interaktif. Hasil kegiatan ini meliputi publikasi di media massa, submission ke jurnal Sinta 5, serta dokumen kerjasama dan penerbitan HKI. Inovasi utama yang dihasilkan adalah aplikasi AR berbasis Android, yang memberikan visualisasi objek geometri secara real-time kepada siswa, sehingga dapat meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran baik bagi siswa maupun guru di madrasah. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat menyetarakan mutu pengajaran di madrasah dengan sekolah-sekolah umum.

Abstract

Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah menjadi inovasi signifikan dalam mendukung sektor pertanian, khususnya di gampong-gampong yang berada di aceh utara. Implementasi IoT dalam pertanian desa bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi melalui pemanfaatan teknologi cerdas, seperti sensor tanah, sistem irigasi pintar, dan pemantauan cuaca real-time. Dampak positif dari penggunaan IoT meliputi peningkatan hasil panen hingga dan pengurangan biaya operasional, serta deteksi dini terhadap kadar kualitas garam di tambak petani garam. Implementasi dalam program ini juga membuka peluang bagi warga gampong untuk terlibat dalam pertanian modern yang lebih menarik dan mendukung keberlanjutan usaha tani dalam melihat kadar air garam pada masing-masing meja garam. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kendala seperti biaya awal investasi yang tinggi, rendahnya literasi teknologi, dan akses internet yang terbatas di daerah gampong. Program pengabdian ini menawarkan solusi berupa sosialisasi, adanya perangkat, dan pengembangan infrastruktur teknologi untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Diharapkan melalui program ini, petani garam ujung jaya dapat mengadopsi teknologi IoT secara berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan dalam melihaat kualitas air garam. Selanjutnya, hasil dari pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan IoT memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap efisiensi sumber daya dan produktivitas pertanian. Dengan demikian, program pengandian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan alat implementasi ke desa lain untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional dan daya saing produk pertanian garam khususnya di aceh.

Abstract

Providing business capital assistance is a poverty alleviation program for people who have medium and small businesses. The Office of Industry and Trade (DISPERINDAGKOP) of Pidie Regency has one of the work programs, namely providing material and equipment assistance to small and medium industries in Pidie Regency. In order to be more efficient and effective in the process of determining whether or not someone is eligible to receive venture capital assistance, a Decision Support System (SPK) was created for the eligibility of recipients of venture capital assistance in Pidie District using the Technique For Others Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The criteria used as an assessment in determining the eligibility of recipients of business capital assistance are underprivileged conditions, economic conditions, conditions of family dependents, housing conditions, condition of type of business. These criteria are obtained based on the table of the amount of venture capital assistance that has been determined by the Pidie District Government. This system is expected to assist DISPERINDAGKOP in providing business capital assistance to the community according to the resulting criteria. Also to overcome the possibility of data duplication and errors in determining the recipient of venture capital.

Abstract

Traditional scales generally make it difficult for some people from the lower middle class to buy oil according to their needs. This price-based bulk oil weighing machine is aimed at the lower middle class, allowing them to buy any amount of oil they want. This innovation is very important in facilitating access and fair transactions in obtaining bulk oil. The aim of this research is to develop a weighing system that is affordable, easy to use, and can provide information regarding the volume, weight of bulk oil and the price to be paid. In developing this weighing machine, the focus was placed on the aspects of ease of use, reliability and affordable cost. This machine is designed to be able to measure volume and weight of bulk oil quite accurately using flow and loadcell sensors. This sensor will convert the received load into an electrical signal that can be processed to produce an accurate weight value

Abstract

The electrical engineering building at Malikussaleh University has a large enough need for electrical energy. Consumption of electrical energy in this building has increased from year to year which affects the amount of electric power and high operating costs. The main cause is the large number of lighting lamps that are used so that the impact on the high costs that must be paid to the PLN. Therefore, in this study an assessment will be carried out regarding the causes of not realizing the effective and efficient use of electrical energy. Energy audit is one of the methods used to find out in detail about the need for proportional energy consumption in accordance with the applicable Indonesian National Standards (SNI) so that it will provide comfort for users. The variables used in this audit are the compatibility between the light used in each available room, as well as the type of lamp material used. The calculation results show that the problem is the high consumption of electrical energy because a lot of electrical equipment is not environmentally friendly, which affects the costs incurred. The amount of energy or kWh that must be paid each year is Rp. 30,300,949.98
