Abstract

The problem in this research is that students are not yet perfect at doing lay-up shoots in both position and movement. This research aims to determine the difference in ability between lay-up shoots from the right side and the left side among boys' basketball extracurricular members aged 11-14 years. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method. The sample in this study was taken by random sampling, totaling 30 students. The instrument of this research is the lay-up shoot test modified. Data collection techniques using test and measurement methods. Data analysis using prerequisite tests and t-tests. The statistical test results showed that the lay-up shoot t-test value on the right and left sides had a calculated t of -1.193 and the t-table value with df 14 at the 5% significance level was 2.14. p = 0.253, because p > 0.05 there is no significant difference. So it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between lay-up shots from the right side and the left side for boys' basketball extracurricular members aged 11-14 years

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to evaluate the implementation of physical education, sports and health (PJOK) learning in the new normal era of junior high schools in Mungkid District, Magelang Regency using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) model. This research was descriptive research using quantitative and qualitative approaches (mixed method). Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The population in the study were all school principals, PJOK teachers, and junior high school students in Mungkid District, Magelang Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, namely sampling based on research goals and objectives. In detail, it consists of: 11 school principals, 11 PJOK teachers, and 11 students from junior high schools throughout Mungkid District, Magelang Regency. Quantitative data was analyzed using percentage techniques, while qualitative data was carried out through data presentation, reduction and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that: (1) context evaluation: background, formulation of learning objectives, use and management of materials, media and materials, teaching and learning design for implementing PJOK learning in the new normal era is in the sufficient category with a score = 3.48. (2) input evaluation: learning objectives, availability of facilities and infrastructure, learning materials, characteristics of students and teachers in the sufficient category with a score = 3.50. (3) process evaluation: implementation of learning, student and teacher activities in the sufficient category with a score = 3.41. (4) product evaluation: learning results or outputs are categorized as sufficient with a value = 3.36. Thus, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the implementation of PJOK learning in the new normal era of junior high schools in Mungkid District, Magelang Regency is in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Abstract Small Sided Games are an alternative exercise for athletes to improve cognitive performance which functions as a matter of quick decision making during a match. This study aims to determine in reality the application of SSG exercises to the cognitive performance of adolescent futsal athletes. This research is a type of experimental research using a one class pretest-postest design. The number of samples of the study were 20 youth futsal athletes in Banyumas Regency. The research instrument used in this study was the WAIS IV digit span test. The analysis used was the normality test, homogeneity, and paired sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research conducted showed that: there was a significant effect of small sided games training prizes on the cognitive performance of futsal athletes. It was shown that there would be a t-test of 0.017.

Abstract

Active recovery is recommended to help the soccer player recover quickly. However, there has been no study comparing the most effective active recovery methods post-match. The purpose of this study was to compare active recovery (jogging and cycling) to the heart rate and fatigue level of athletes. This study uses an experimental method with a pretest-posttest crossover design approach. Subjects were 22 male amateur football athletes with an average (age, 19.40 ± 1.18 years; height, 170.04 ± 3.54 cm; weight, 62.89 ± 5.44 kg). The results showed that the average heart rate (HR), vertical jump (VJ), and lactate levels between groups after the simulation match did not show significant differences (HR p= 0.748, VJ p=0.984, lactate p=0.633). However, for variables HR and lactate levels experienced a significant decrease after undergoing recovery treatment, and when viewed from the delta the jogging group experienced a decrease (HR 24.7%, and lactate 52.5%), for the bicycle group (HR 29.3%, and lactate 60.9%) and the sitting group (HR 19.91%, and lactate 23.4%). So the results of this study provide evidence that post-match cycling can contribute to a more effective active recovery strategy. Thus the results of this study can be used as a reference for coaches and athletes in a good recovery process after a football match.
