Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of food inflation, per capita income, and consumer spending on food security in four ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, during the period 2013 to 2022. Using a quantitative approach with panel regression analysis, this study processed secondary data from various official sources, such as FAO, World Bank, and the Economist Intelligence Unit. The results of the study showed that independent variables, namely food inflation, per capita income and consumer spending, were able to explain the dependent variable, namely food security by 74%, while the remaining 25.3% was explained by other variables outside the model. This research provides important implications for policymakers in ASEAN countries in formulating strategies that can stabilize food prices, improve economic welfare, and optimize food distribution and accessibility to achieve more sustainable food security in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchase decision of environmentally friendly products through a comprehensive theoretical approach. Using the PRISMA 2020-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines ten major relevant journals in the 2020–2024 period. The results show that individual factors such as environmental knowledge and awareness, as well as attitudes, play an important role in shaping purchase intentions and behaviors. On the other hand, social norms and green marketing also influence behavior through the mediation of environmental attitudes. Contextual factors such as the credibility of eco-labels and ease of access to products are moderators in the relationship between intentions and actual behaviors. This study concludes that the integration of individual, social, and contextual factors is essential to understand the complexity of eco-friendly product purchasing decisions. The implications of the research include strategic recommendations for companies and policymakers to encourage the adoption of sustainable consumption.

Abstract

Green Organizational Citizenship Behavior (GOCB) is a key construct in supporting environmental performance across various industrial sectors. This study employs a systematic literature review (SLR) based on the PRISMA framework, analyzing 45 articles (2016–2026) to understand the mechanisms linking Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices, green leadership, employee motivation, and environmental outcomes. Results indicate that GOCB is influenced by individual capacity, social interactions, HR practices, and transformational green leadership. Training, rewards, and organizational culture play a crucial role in fostering voluntary pro-environmental behavior. Cross-cultural analysis highlights variations in the effectiveness of GOCB mechanisms according to geographical and regulatory contexts. This study also emphasizes the dominance of quantitative methods and the need for qualitative or mixed-methods approaches to understand the dynamics of pro-environmental behavior more deeply. Key contributions include a synthesis of GOCB mechanisms, cross-theoretical integration (AMO, SET, Social Learning Theory, COR), and the identification of research gaps in developed and cross-cultural contexts. Future research is recommended to use mixed-method designs, expand the scope of industries and regions, and incorporate cultural and institutional variables to strengthen theoretical models and practical applications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Human Development Index (HDI), energy consumption, and population density on the Environmental Quality Index (EQI) in 34 provinces of Indonesia during the 2015-2024 period from the perspective of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This research uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). The results show that HDI has a positive and significant effect on EQI (t = 2.210; p = 0.034), energy consumption has a positive and significant effect on EQI (t = 2.187; p = 0.036), and population density also has a positive and significant effect on EQI (t = 3.288; p = 0.002). The adjusted R-squared value of 76.76% indicates that the three independent variables are able to explain 76.76% of the variation in EQI. These findings confirm that improving human development, sustainable energy management, and well-managed population density can support environmental quality improvement, thereby contributing to the achievement of SDGs in Indonesia.

The population in this study were students as a representation of Generation Z in the campus environment. The sample of this study were active students at Jakarta State University with the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The method used in this study was a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. The results of the study found that the digital financial literacy variable was proven to have a positive and significant influence on doom spending behavior. This shows that respondents' understanding of digital financial instruments and the ease of online transactions does not necessarily make them wiser in refraining from impulsive shopping in stressful situations. On the contrary, mastery of financial technology actually becomes a means that makes it easier for respondents to make quick spending to relieve anxiety, so that the higher the digital financial literacy possessed, the tendency to doom spending also tends to increase. The e-commerce variable has a positive and significant influence as the main driving factor in doom spending behavior. The presence of online shopping platforms with various features of easy access, attractive promotions, and transaction speed has a very large impact in triggering unplanned spending. The practical nature of e-commerce has become a primary outlet for respondents to escape negative feelings or the stress of bad news through shopping, making it the most dominant factor in explaining why doom spending behavior occurs among the subjects of this study.
