Abstract

This study discussed about the students creative thinking ability to use the environment on economic subject at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The problem of this study was how the students creative thinking ability to use the environment on economic subjects at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang ?. The variables of this study were creative thinking and the environment. This study used descriptive method. The sample was 53 students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The result from observation showed that the creative thinking of students consisted of five indicators, they were fluent skill with the very well criteria (83.76%), flexible skill with the very well criteria (89.1%), original skill with the good criteria (79.25%). It was suggested to economic teachers to develop the detail skills that had good criteria became very good criteria, so that students were able to develop an idea in detail which was further improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to prove the difference influence between technique Reading Quiz with Question Student Have tolearning’s outcomes of students in social studies lesson at SMPN 1 Palembang. This research uses the quantitative method. The research population was the whole class VIII SMPN 1 Palembang second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The research sample using cluster sampling.Data collection techniques in the form of tests and observation. The result from analysis there are differences of impact that technique Reading Quiz higher than technique Question Student Have to learning’s outcomes of students in learning social studies at SMPN 1 Palembang. The results of the analysis of experimental observations on the class-1 can be interpreted in learning activities direct from learning is very strong and the other one on eksperimen-2 is strong. Advice relating to the use of techniques Reading Quiz can foster self-confidence for student to face learners and Reading Quiz. While the technique of Question Student Have if the classroom allows the better position of learners should be circular.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the economic assessment standards in learning in SMAN 4 Pagaralam. The formulation of the problem is how the implementation of the economic assessment standards in learning in SMAN 4 Pagaralam? The variables of this study is the economic assessment standards in learning. This research uses descriptive method. The subjects were 4 economics teacher at SMAN 4 Pagaralam. Data were collected by interview and documentation. The results show that the assessment standards are 8 aspects that make the design and assessment criteria and are informed at the beginning of the semester is very good with the average percentage of 100%, developing indicators and determining the valuation technique is very good with the average percentage of 87.5%, developing assessment instruments and guidelines for good with the acquisition of a percentage of 56.25%, carrying out tests, observations, assignments, and other necessary forms well with the average percentage of 58.33%, processing the results of the assessment of learners well with the average percentage of 75%, restoring the examination results of students work very well with a mean percentage of 100%, utilizing the results of the assessment for learning improvement both with a mean percentage of 75%. reported the results of the assessment included in the criteria very well with the acquisition of a percentage of 100%. Economics teacher suggested that more focus in preparing all the completeness of assessment and assessment techniques to be used to achieve the indicators that have been set.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparative influence learning models of learning Time Token with Think Talk Write to the social skills of students in learning social studies in junior high school N 10 Palembang. The formulation of the research problem, namely "Is there a difference influences learning models of learning Time Token with Think Talk Write to the social skills of students in social studies learning". This research is a comparative studywith a completely rendomized design method. The populastion in the study were all class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. Sampling using random cluster sampling, obtained VIII.11 class (experimen 1) and class VIII.12 (experiment 2) with the number 38 and 40 learners. Data collection technique used observation. The results of the analysis of social skills of observational data on the social skill aquired experiment-1 value of 97.4%, an experiment-2 obtained a value of 84.1%. The calculation results of hypothesis testing using t test obtained tcount≥ttable = 10.75 ≥ 1.985. This means that there are differences in the influence of the model TimeToken with Think Talk Write to social skills The constraints study, students have the opportunity to speak is not used efficiently, the difficulty of arranging the learners in doing stage Think, but to convince the students to dare argue and set the time the second constraint can be controlled.

Abstract

The title of this research is “The Comparison of the Influence between Co-op Co-op Model and Integrated Reading and Composition Model in Learning Outcomes in Economics Subject in SMA Negeri 1 Pagaralam. For the research question in this study is “Whether or not there was any significant different influence in learning outcomes in learning Economics who were taught by using Co-op Co-op Model and those who were taught by using Integrated Reading Composition Model in SMA Negeri 1 Pagaralam.” This study is a comparative research which is used completely randomized design and pretest posttest. The populations of this study are tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Pagaralam. The writer applied cluster random sampling, XH were chosen as experimental 1 class and XI class were chosen as experimental 2 class. Each of them consists of 34 students. For collecting the data, the writer used tests and observation. The hypothesis used parametric statistics, one way ANOVA and Fhitung value is bigger than Ftable so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The result showed there was a significant different influence in learning outcomes in learning Economics who were taught by using Co-op Co-op Model and those who were taught by using Integrated Reading Composition Model in SMA Negeri 1 Pagaralam.” According to the difficulties in this study, for the teacher who will apply Co-op Co-p Model should offer the material in a good way and guide the students who find difficulties in learning the material individually. The teacher also controls the students when learning the material so there is no student who counting another friend in their groups. For the teacher who will apply Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Model should deliver the relevant texts and teach the material in easy way to be understood by the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was describe the confidence level of students in cross-interest program on economic subject at SMA N 14 Palembang. The research problem of this research was “how confidence level of students in cross-interest program on economic subject at SMA N 14 Palembang”. This research was a qualitative descriptive method. The population of this research was all of students X science grades of SMA N 14 Palembang. Fourty students from X science 2 were selected as sample of the research by using purposive sampling technique. Data triangulation technique was used to collect data such as questionare, observation, and interview. The data Milles and Hubberman method with data display shaped inverted pyramid based on the highest until the lowest indicator were used to analyze in this research. The highest indicator was that believing in your own ability with the persentage of 84,58% belongs to very high criteria, having the attitude of attention with the percentage of 83,92% belongs to very high criteria, responsibility with the percentage 81,39% belongs to very high criteria, daring to convey opinons with the percentage of 79,41% belongs to high criteria, having realistic expectations towards themselves with the percentage of 77,48% belongs to high criteria, and not easy to despair with the percentage of 75,44% belongs to high criteria.

Abstract

This research aimed to prove the influence of scholarship on learning motivation. This research used the quantitative descriptive method. Subjects in this research were students of Economics Education Sriwijaya University Indralaya Campus from batch 2013 to 2016. Where students who received scholarships amounted to 47 students, and who did not receive scholarships amounted to 63 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data Analysis techniques used percentage formula then learning motivation of students who received scholarships is compared to students who did not receive scholarships to look for the influence of scholarship on learning motivation. The results showed the learning motivation if seen from the average questionnaire score of each respondent, students who received scholarships amounted to 78.79. While the learning motivation of students who did not receive scholarship amounted to 75.05. The result of learning motivation analysis if seen from the indicator, the students who received scholarship amounted 78,43%. While the students who did not receive scholarships amounted to 73.75%. Based on the conclusions that had been obtained, it could be suggested for government and private institutions in order to provide scholarships to students to support student learning motivation. For students who received a scholarship must maintain the learning motivation that already high category because it could be useful for learning activities to obtain good results.
