Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between scientific literacy skills and science problemsolving for fourth grade students of Sukatani IV public elementary school, Tangerang Regency, using correlationalquantitative research methods, with 56 research subjects for fourth grade students. The test instrument used scientificliteracy skills essay questions (X). which consists of 10 questions, and science problem solving essay questions (Y)totaling 10 questions. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between scientific literacy skills andscience problem solving, which was 0.94 with a regression equation Y=18.65 + 1.09 X and a determination coefficient of0.97%, this means that scientific literacy skills have contribution of 94.04% to problem solving ability. Keywords:Ability, Science Literacy, Problem Solving, Science

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran orang tua dalam kegiatan belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN Cikupa III Kecamatan Cikupa Kabupaten Tangerang tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan dokumentasi, dimana data peran orang tua diambil menggunakan kuesioner dan data hasil belajar menggunakan penilaian tengah semester genap. Analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran orang tua pada bagian Mean 43,00, pada bagian Median 43,00, pada bagian Mode 42, pada bagian Std. deviation 2,259, pada bagian Minimum 37, dan bagian Maximum 48. Pada hasil belajar pada bagian Mean 78,56, pada bagian Median 79,00, pada bagian Mode 76, pada bagian Std. deviation 3,202, pada bagian Minimum 71, dan bagian Maximum 85. Uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan peran orang tua berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan bersifat linear. Diperoleh Fhitung 0,016 < Ftabel 3,16 berarti Ho diterima.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of internal quality assurance at Pacific Morotai University and provide detailed findings regarding the constraints faced by the Pacific Morotai University Quality Assurance Institute (LPM), North Maluku. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study method at the Pacific University of Morotai, North Maluku; Data was collected based on document search, observation, and interviews. The results of the study show that the implementation of internal quality assurance at Pacific Morotai University faces the problem of a lack of auditors who have an understanding and a number of human resources in carrying out monitoring and evaluation tasks. The technical implementing unit formed by LPM in carrying out its duties only consists of six people spread across six faculties with details of one person for each faculty. The impact is due to the lack of auditors who are experts in quality assurance, so that it has an impact on quality assurance or external accreditation. In fact, the university does not yet have institutional accreditation status and eleven study programs have the same accreditation rating, namely C. Thus, the implementation of quality assurance is not carried out optimally and properly monitored, making it difficult to measure university quality achievements in setting higher education standards.

Abstract

Continuing Professional Development Program has not received a good response. Elementary school teachers are still not optimal in carrying out research, self-development, creating innovative works, and scientific publications. This study evaluates the professional development program in terms of the principal's role in improving the professional competence of teachers; and to evaluate the process of continuous professional development in improving the professional competence of educators. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. The subject of this research is the principal and the teacher who teaches at the school. The results showed: 1) that the majority of teachers did not have a structured plan; 2) Implementation of class action research is still low; 3) The development of innovation works to support learning is still low; 4) Implementation of self-development by attending scientific activities on a medium scale; 5) Implementation of scientific paper publications is still very low; 6) Policy support is needed to hold continuous professional development training programs on an ongoing basis; 7) the role of the principal is needed in supervising teacher performance and improving professional competence. In contrast to previous research, this research raises the problems faced by schools with the evaluation of the professional development program and shows the impact and also solutions that can be taken by schools in an effort to improve school quality.

Abstract

The formation of interaction, communication, and collaboration between lecturers and students, and or students in assignment management during the Covid-19 period requires lecturers to change their pedagogy quckly through choosing the right strategy. This study aims to present information as a measure of the success of lecturers’ strategies in managing assignments to write books with ISBN as an implementation of the quality of academic services during the Covid-19 period. This cross-sectional descriptive survey research method was conducted on 128 fifth semester students of A-D class, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, Academic Year 2020/2021, with 52 web-based questionnaires distributed online using the google form application, measured using 4 response point Likert data format without middle category, using 4 answer options: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The management of the assignments to write books with ISBN is very appropriate to do as a lecturer strategy to maximize the quality of academic services in curriculum development courses during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar siswa kelas V SDN Karang Tengah 1 dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SDN Karang Tengah 1 pada kelas V tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode deskriptif, yang ditunjang dengan penelitian lapangan dan referensi berkaitan dengan tema yang dibahas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemandirian belajar siswa di SDN Karang Tengah 1 sudah berkembang dengan baik. Kemandirian belajar menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar. Siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar yang tinggi akan berusaha menyelesaikan tugas dengan kemampuannya sendiri. Pembelajaran tematik menjadi wadah dalam mengembangkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Bentuk kemandirian belajar siswa yang dikembangkan di SDI Al-Azhar 17 Bintaro didukung dengan diantaranya percaya diri, aktif dalam belajar, disiplin dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan sebuah masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya asupan gizi dalam waktu yang cukup lama, hal ini menyebabkan adanya gangguan di masa yang akan datang yakni mengalami kesulitan dalam mencapai perkembangan fisik dan kognitif yang optimal. Luaran kegiatan yang diharapkan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat pada Warga Poris Plawad Utara ini adalah agar adanya pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pengaruh stunting terhadap perkembangan kogitif dan prestasi belajar sehingga warga Poris Plawad Utara dapat mewujudkan sehat dan cerdas “TANPA STUNTING”. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu menggunakan metode kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh pihak pelaksana yaitu dosen Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang dengan warga Poris Plawad Utara dengan cara memberikan materi secara langsung kepada warga Poris Plawad Utara. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu peserta seminar stunting warga Poris Plawad Utara berperan aktif dalam kegiatan seminar ini, banyak dari peserta yang memiliki tingkat keingintahuan yang begitu tinggi akan ciri-ciri stunting anak, dampak dari stunting terhadap kognitif dan prestasi belajar serta cara pencegahan stunting, sehingga memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman cara mencegah stunting.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Reading literacy is a core part of learning is schools that cannot be separated. This ability is the most basic foundation for achieving success in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the literacy skills in reading comprehension of legend stories for fifth grade students at SDN Cipondoh 8, Tangerang City. The focus of this study was to determine the extent of literacy skills in reading comprehension of ledend stories for fifth grade students at SDN Cipondoh 8 Tangerang City. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a teacher as the subject and 26 fifth grade students. The data collection techniques used were tests, interview, observation, and documentation. The research method used is descriptive method and data analysis uses data triangulation which consists of three activities namely, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Of the 26 subjects who were given a test to answer story questions, 2 people got grades in the very good category, then 10 people got grades in the good category, and 14 people got scores in the fair category. The results of the study showed that almost all students reading comprehension literacy skills were quite good, based on students comprehension abilities on indicators of understanding the meaning of words and the meaning of the stories they read.
