Abstract

Papan ludo merupakan inovasi media pembelajaran sebagai penguatan materi yang berisi tentang kuis dari materi yang telah dipelajari oleh siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kelayakan dan keterbacaan media papan ludo pada muatan IPA siswa kelas IVB. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu R&D menggunakan model Thiagarajan, atau 4D yaitu define, design, development and dissemination. Namun dalam penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai tahap developement karena melihat waktu pada saat penelitian dimasa pandemi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media dan siswa kela IV SD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket validasi dan angket respon peseta didik serta didukung dengan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar angket validasi para ahli dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media papan ludo yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh 3 validator dengan presentase ahli materi 82% ahli bahasa 87% dan ahli media 89%. Sedangkan hasil rata-rata angket keterbacaan media papan ludo yang dilakukan oleh siswa yaitu sebesar 100%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat simpulkan bahwa penggunaan media papan ludo sangat layak digunakan dengan presentase 86% dan sangat menarik digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran muatan IPA.

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab rendahnya kemampuan calistung adalah anak-anak yang tidak mengenyam bangku pendidikan formal. Hal inilah yang terjadi pada anak-anak Orang Asli Papua (OAP) di PKBM Jehova Jireh. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan calistung mereka, maka dibuatlah pengabdian pembelajaran edutainment. Kegiatan ini didukung oleh mitra, yakni PKBM Jehova Jireh dengan memberikan tempat untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian, serta mendapat dukungan penuh dari para orang tua anak-anak tersebut. Pengabdian ini dilakukan kurang lebih 4 bulan, dengan tahapan pretest, pembelajaran menggunakan model edutainment, dan post-test. Pembelajaran dibagi menjadi dua kelas berdasarkan umurnya, yaitu kelas anak dan kelas tanggung. Proses pembeajaran dilakukan dengan mengaplikasikan beberapa permainan dalam proses pembelajaran serta penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Dari hasil perhitungan pretest maupun post-test, diperoleh bahwa ada perubahan kemampuan calistung anak-anak OAP. Hal ini dibuktikan dari perhitungan n-gain untuk kelas anak memperoleh nilai 0,36 (kategori sedang) dan untuk kelas tanggung adalah 0,4 (kategori sedang). Hal yang menjadi kendala adalah medan yang sulit ditempuh, fokus anak yang terbiasa bermain, serta tidak ada pengalaman bersekolah. Untuk memengatasi beberapa permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan model pembelajaran dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik, agar anak-anak lebih fokus untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kanum tribe is one of indigenous tribes in Merauke which depend their live on nature. One of their local wisdoms is yur, which was done on plant at harvest time. The principle of yur is prohibits human to take that plant at the certain time. The aim of this research is to describe yur local wisdom with ethno-science study. This research conducted in Tomer village, habitat of Kanum tribe in Naukenjerai District, Merauke. Data collected direct observation to Tomer village, interview with some people of Kanum tribe, and also literature study. The result of this study show that yur local wisdom can analyze with biology, physic, and chemistry science. This local wisdom can protect every step of plant growing, namely pollination, fertilization, development of ovule into seed, ovary into fruit, and until it becomes a perfectly ripe fruit. Furthermore, yur can take care of imbibition, photosynthesis, and transpiration process. Finally, from all of that, yur can conserve the growing process of plant until harvest time.

Abstract

The numerous incidents of fights and bullying among students indicate current problems with character development. Additionally, advances in technology and science require individuals to master creative thinking skills. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impact of an activity-based PjBL model on the development of character and creative thinking skills. This research employs a quasi-experimental design known as the nonequivalent post-test only control group design. The population consists of all elementary education students enrolled in the Numeracy Literacy Development course, totaling 120 students. Tests and questionnaires are often used in research to collect data. The data collection methods employed in this study involve descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Inferential analysis was conducted using MANOVA. The research results indicate differences in character and creative thinking skills after students were taught using the Activity-Based PjBL Model. Based on the study, there are differences in character and creative thinking skills, as seen from the differences in mean values. The difference in character between students taught with the Activity-Based PjBL model and those who were not was 13.74, with the experimental group having a higher average character. Similarly, the difference in creative thinking skills between students taught with the Activity-Based PjBL model and those who were not was 11.44, with the experimental group showing a higher average creative thinking ability. Additionally, the analysis indicates that the variable influencing more is character rather than creative thinking skills. These findings provide a strong basis for recommending the activity-based PjBL model as a solution to improve students' character and creative thinking skills. This model not only focuses on the completion of concrete projects but also integrates activities that encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to test the feasibility and practicality of the developed product. The product developed is a simple fountain teaching aid related to the concept of Boyle's Law material. The product developed in the study uses a 4D model consisting of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instruments used in collecting data are in the form of a feasibility questionnaire and a practicality questionnaire. The feasibility of the product is assessed by 3 experts while the practicality of the product is assessed by 3 validators. And based on the response test of 36 high school students in grade X to describe student responses to the product. The results of the validator's assessment show that the product developed is very feasible while the results of the student response test show that the product developed is very practical. So it can be concluded that the product developed in this study in the form of a simple fountain teaching aid is feasible and practical to use in the physics learning process of high school in grade X.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and legibility of the Ethno-STEM LKPD based on sound wave material. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate) which is limited to three stages, namely define, design and development. The subjects in this study were students of class XI in several schools in Merauke, totaling 35 students. The result of this research is LKPD based on Ethno-STEM sound wave material. The results of material expert validation are 111.5 in the very appropriate category, media expert validation is 88 in the appropriate category, and the results of the readability test are 87% in the very feasible category. So it can be concluded that the Ethno-STEM-based LKPD on sound wave material is very suitable for use in the physics learning process of sound wave material.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan pengolahan ikan di masyarakat Malind disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, terutama kurangnya pemahaman teknis dan manajerial yang memadai dalam proses pengolahan ikan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, sebuah program pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif telah dirancang dan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengolahan ikan di kalangan masyarakat. Program ini melibatkan 50 peserta yang berasal dari berbagai latar belakang masyarakat Malind. Pelatihan tersebut dilakukan melalui pendekatan yang komprehensif, termasuk ceramah yang mendalam untuk memberikan pemahaman teori yang kuat, diskusi interaktif yang memungkinkan peserta berbagi pengalaman dan solusi, serta praktik langsung yang menitikberatkan pada penguasaan keterampilan teknis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil utama penelitian ini sangat menggembirakan, dengan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan para peserta. Mereka tidak hanya mampu menguasai aspek teknis dalam pengolahan ikan, seperti penggunaan alat dan teknik pengawetan yang lebih efektif, tetapi juga mulai memahami pentingnya strategi pemasaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk mereka di pasar. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan yang lebih berpihak pada peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, yang pada gilirannya dapat berdampak positif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan pengurangan angka kemiskinan di daerah-daerah yang bergantung pada sektor perikanan.

Abstract

The lack of environmental awareness and concern among school-age children poses a challenge in fostering environmentally responsible character from an early age. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Sekolah Lapang program on students' environmental awareness. Specifically, it seeks to measure changes in attitudes before and after participating in the program and to evaluate its effectiveness in cultivating environmental consciousness among children. This study employs a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements measuring students' environmental awareness. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive techniques to identify general trends and inferential analysis using a t-test to examine significant differences before and after the intervention. The findings indicate that the Sekolah Lapang program significantly enhances students' environmental responsibility. The average score increased by 16.85 points, with the t-test results showing a significance value of 0.00 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant change. These findings confirm that the Sekolah Lapang program is an effective strategy for instilling environmental awareness in school-age children and can serve as a sustainable environmental education model.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan calon guru fisika menghadapi tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21 dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi, pedagogi, dan konten (TPACK) sehingga dapat mengatasi kesenjangan dalam penerapan teknologi dalam praktik mengajar, khususnya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Adapun tujuan dalam workshop ini adalah untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan dalam merancang e-LKPD interaktif dan bermakna dengan memanfaatkan berbagai alat dan platform digital seperti Canva, Google Forms, simulasi PhET, dan Heyzine Flipbooks. Pelatihan ini menggabungkan pengetahuan konseptual dan praktik langsung untuk memperdalam pemahaman mahasiswa tentang TPACK dan penerapannya dalam pengajaran fisika. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi TPACK peserta yang tercermin dari kenaikan skor rata-rata sebesar 39 poin dari pre-test ke post-test. Selain itu, 80% mahasiswa berhasil menghasilkan e-LKPD yang memenuhi standar kualitas tinggi dengan mayoritas menunjukkan integrasi yang efektif antara teknologi, konten, dan pedagogi. Tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap workshop ini sangat tinggi terhadap relevansi dan efektivitas pelatihan. Inisiatif ini memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesiapan calon guru fisika untuk menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the development of E-MASL (Electronic Malind Science Learning) Learning Media based on multimodus representation oriented Ethno-STEM which is made in the form of animated videos. E-MASL learning media discusses the concept of science learning in the culture of the Malind tribe in the process of burning stones to make sago sep, which is related to science learning materials, namely heat and its transfer. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research and uses a 4D (four-D) development model. The results of this study indicate that the average score of the validators is 83.33% with the category of "Very Eligible". The results of the student response questionnaire were 92.62% with the category of "Very Eligible". Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of E-MASL learning media based on multimodal representation oriented to Ethno-STEM has been tested and is feasible to be tested, so that the products of this study can be used as science learning media.
