Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak TikTok Agency Super Power terhadap tingkat profesionalisme host streamer di TikTok. Dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui survei online terhadap 300 host streamer yang merupakan anggota agensi tersebut. Analisis statistik, termasuk uji regresi linear sederhana, digunakan untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara partisipasi dalam TikTok Agency dan peningkatan profesionalisme host streamer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TikTok Agency memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat profesionalisme host streamer di platform TikTok. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 44,1% mengindikasikan bahwa variabel TikTok Agency berkontribusi pada perubahan dalam profesionalisme host streamer, sehingga hasil penelitian ini memberikan perspektif baru tentang pentingnya keterlibatan dalam agensi seperti TikTok Agency untuk memajukan karier dan profesionalisme host streamer. Implikasi temuan ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi host streamer dan agensi serupa dalam memahami dinamika industri media sosial.

Abstract

Suku Batak Toba membangun kekerabatan melalui sistem marga dan tradisi martarombo, yaitu proses penelusuran silsilah untuk menjalin hubungan kekeluargaan. Tradisi ini sangat penting bagi mahasiswa perantau Batak Toba di Bandar Lampung sebagai sarana pelestarian identitas budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses komunikasi interpersonal mahasiswa perantau Batak Toba di Bandar Lampung dalam tradisi martarombo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dipastikan melalui triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran sebagai pengirim dan penerima dalam martarombo bersifat fleksibel, dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman budaya, keberanian memulai interaksi, dan dorongan emosional. Proses komunikasi berlangsung baik secara verbal maupun nonverbal melalui pertukaran informasi tentang marga dan silsilah, disertai dengan gestur seperti jabat tangan dan senyuman. Saluran komunikasi yang digunakan meliputi interaksi tatap muka dan media daring yang beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi. Umpan balik diberikan secara langsung, baik secara verbal maupun nonverbal, yang memperkuat ikatan kekerabatan. Keberhasilan komunikasi dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman, minat, kemampuan berbahasa Batak, dan partisipasi aktif dalam percakapan. Martarombo tetap menjadi media penting untuk membangun solidaritas dan menegakkan nilai-nilai etika berdasarkan prinsip Dalihan Na Tolu. Siswa menyadari pentingnya melestarikan tradisi ini.Kata Kunci:  Komunikasi Interpersonal, Mahasiswa, Martarombo, Migran, Suku Batak Toba.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of empowerment communication in enhancing the abilities of deaf-mute individuals at Caffe Lubi in preparing for the world of work. The background of this research is rooted in the ongoing challenges faced by people with disabilities—particularly those who are deaf-mute—in Indonesia, including discrimination and limited access to employment opportunities, despite their significant presence in the national population. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the empowerment communication processes implemented at Caffe Lubi and their impact on the development of work-related skills and personal independence among deaf-mute individuals. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed, focusing on Caffe Lubi. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving three deaf-mute individuals working at the café. The findings reveal that empowerment communication at Caffe Lubi is conducted through two-way interactions between facilitators and persons with disabilities, the use of sign language, and written communication tools. This process has proven effective in improving both soft skills—such as teamwork, time management, and problem-solving—and hard skills, including barista techniques, inventory management, and the use of office software for administrative tasks. The empowerment initiatives at Caffe Lubi not only enhance vocational competencies but also foster self-confidence and independence among deaf-mute individuals, equipping them to adapt in the workplace both as employees and as potential entrepreneurs. This research underscores the importance of inclusive and supportive communication in empowering people with disabilities, ultimately contributing to equal employment opportunities and a more disability-friendly work environment.

Abstract

Di dalam sebuah negara, media massa memegang peran sebagai ujung tombak pemberitaan, sebab pmberitaan media massa memiliki dampak yang signifikan. Di Indonesia, media massa memiliki karakteristik yang khas, di mana kepemilikan media massa sering kali berada di tangan ketua partai politik, sehingga hal ini menjadi sebuah topik menarik.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian kuantitatif adalah suatu metode penelitian yang berfokus pada pengumpulan data yang dapat diukur secara numerik, Pendekatan ini sering digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian yang memerlukan data kuantitatif. Analisis isi pada penelitian berfungsi untuk menganalisis pola-pola dalam teks tertulis atau komunikasi verbal lainnya yang bertujuan untuk memahami struktur, tema, atau pesan yang terkandung.Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa Rubrik Lampung Memilih pada Surat Kabar Harian Lampung Post menunjukkan bahwa persentase nilai reliabilitas dari setiap unit analisis menunjukkan hasil 0,96%-100%. Pada unit analisis nilai berita, hasilnya nilai berita netral memiliki persentase yang lebih tinggi dibanding nilai berita positif dan negatif, sehingga Surat Kabar Harian Lampung Post menjalankan fungsinya sebagai media massa dengan semestinya.Harian Umum Lampung Post sebagai media massa tetap dapat mengarahkan para pembacanya untuk fokus terhadap suatu peristiwa melalui pemberitaannya. Hal inilah yang dapat dilakukan media massa melalui agenda setting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence public interest in crime news on the Instagram social media platform @kupas_lampung, to determine the impact of crime news on the views, attitudes and actions of Instagram followers @kupas_lampung in everyday life, and to determine how to package crime news that should be presented on the Instagram social media platform @kupas_lampung. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which means an approach by studying the direct experiences of the followers of the Instagram account @kupas_lampung. The results of the study show that public interest in crime news on Instagram @kupas_lampung is influenced by the need for up-to-date and accurate information about security. The presentation of news that is short, clear, and equipped with visuals attracts users' attention, despite concerns about sensationalism. This news has an impact on the views and actions of followers, making them more aware and vigilant about security, and encouraging social interactions that increase collective awareness. Therefore, news packaging should prioritize clarity, accuracy, and the use of relevant visuals, with simple language and attention to the protection of victim privacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh konten digital terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kecantikan Skintific di kalangan anggota GenBI di Provinsi Lampung. Seiring dengan semakin dominannya interaksi konsumen melalui platform digital, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana konten yang disebarkan melalui Instagram dan TikTok, khususnya materi edukasi dan informatif, memengaruhi perilaku pembelian konsumen muda. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari 182 anggota GenBI aktif melalui kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana untuk menilai hubungan antara paparan konten digital dan keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi yang signifikan dan positif, yang menunjukkan bahwa konten yang persuasif, menarik secara visual, dan relevan secara signifikan meningkatkan minat dan mendorong tindakan pembelian. Temuan ini mendukung model AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) dan menyoroti peran penting media digital dalam komunikasi pemasaran modern. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada ilmu komunikasi dengan menekankan bagaimana konten yang disesuaikan dapat mengubah perilaku konsumen dalam industri kecantikan, khususnya di kalangan Generasi Z. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konten digital berkualitas tinggi merupakan faktor strategis dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian, sehingga penting bagi merek untuk mengoptimalkan strategi keterlibatan media sosial mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design a business communication strategy to increase customer trust in the drinking water quality provided by PDAM Kota Bandar Lampung, particularly in the Teluk Betung Barat area. Despite having access to piped water, many customers still prefer bottled water (AMDK), indicating a lack of confidence in PDAM’s water for direct consumption. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a post-positivist approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants included PDAM officials and customers. The results show that communication factors—such as limited public education, lack of transparency, and inconsistent messaging—contribute to customer distrust. SWOT analysis was used to identify internal and external factors that affect communication performance. The study recommends strategic improvements through transparent, community-based communication, increased use of social media, and proactive crisis communication. An integrated communication strategy is essential to rebuild trust and reduce public dependence on bottled drinking water.

Abstract

This study explores the communication strategies used in the regeneration of new members in the Bina Vokalia Choir at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Triggered by a decline in membership and achievements from 2018 to 2023, this research employed a qualitative descriptive method using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. A SWOT analysis approach was used to identify internal and external factors influencing recruitment and adaptation of new members. Findings indicate that personal interest in music, peer influence, organizational reputation, and persuasive communication from seniors play critical roles in students’ decisions to join. The study concludes that a combination of interpersonal and persuasive communication, consistent mentoring, and reinforcement of group identity enhances effective regeneration. These findings provide practical insights for managing school-based extracurricular arts organizations.

Abstract

The goal of this entrepreneurship training program is to develop entrepreneurial skills that are relevant to Islamic values and prepare students to face the challenges of the business world. The methods used include curriculum development that integrates entrepreneurship education into existing subjects, with an emphasis on practical application through real-life projects such as managing small businesses and cooperatives. Entrepreneurial skills are assessed through business project evaluations and presentations, as well as reflective practice that allows students to articulate their learning experiences. The results of this program indicate that ongoing feedback from students and mentors is essential to improving the effectiveness of future training. In conclusion, this training not only equips students with practical skills, but also inspires them to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors that are in line with the values they hold.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of website utilization as a cyber public relations (CPR) medium in supporting the company's communication strategy, with a case study at PT. Indonesian Technology, Kota Metro. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The research findings show that the company's website has been utilized as a cyber PR medium; however, it still requires improvement in aspects such as interactivity, the application of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, as well as the consistency and quality of information presentation. An effective digital communication strategy plays a crucial role in increasing stakeholder interest in the company. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that optimizing a website as a cyber public relations (CPR) medium must include the delivery of high-quality content, systematic implementation of SEO, and a digital-based interaction strategy to strengthen corporate communication.
