Abstract

Limited time and learning media in bridal hijab styling material in the Cosmetology Education Study Program creates difficulties in the learning process. From the results of the needs analysis, 100% of respondents agreed that a video tutorial on how to modify the bridal hijab for their wedding ceremony was carried out. This research focuses on developing learning media, namely by producing video tutorials which makes this research included in the Research and Development (R&D) type of research using the ADDIE development model, but is limited to the development stage. The aim of this research is to develop video tutorials so that they can serve as information and references for students and the general public to improve their skills in arranging bridal hijab modifications. The data analysis technique uses a mix method, namely data collection and analysis is carried out using quantitative and qualitative research. This development research was carried out through a validation test process by material experts and media experts, as well as student practicality tests. In the material expert assessment I at stage I it was 67.69% and at stage II it was 86.15%. Then, the results of the material expert validation test II were 96.92% so it was included in the "Very Eligible" category. Meanwhile, the score obtained from the media expert validation test in stage I was 92% and in stage II it was 97.33%, so it was included in the "Very Eligible" category. At the practicality test stage carried out on 2020 and 2021 UNJ Cosmetology Education students, there were One to One trial results of 97.43% and Small Group trials of 91.07% which fell into the "Very Practical" category. Thus, video tutorials for arranging modifications to the bridal hijab at the wedding ceremony can be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya pemahaman dan penguasaan materi tentang luka memar dalam mata pelajaran Rias Wajah Khusus, yang disebabkan oleh terbatasnya sumber belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang praktis dan dapat diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja tanpa batasan, dalam bentuk Modul Elektronik (E-Modul). E-Modul ini dikembangkan menggunakan ReactJs, yang memungkinkan pembuatan Antarmuka Pengguna (UI) yang interaktif, mandiri, dan kompleks. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research & Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pada tahap pengembangan, dilakukan validasi terhadap produk penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian tahap pertama oleh ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 76%, dan meningkat menjadi 91% pada tahap kedua setelah perbaikan dilakukan pada E-Modul Luka Memar. Sementara itu, penilaian oleh ahli media menunjukkan hasil sebesar 85,5%. Penelitian ini juga melibatkan uji praktikalitas pada siswa kelas XII program keahlian Tata Kecantikan Kulit dan Rambut di SMK Negeri 7 Tangerang Selatan. Pada tahap awal, dilakukan uji coba individu (one-to-one) yang memperoleh hasil 90%, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji coba terbatas (small group) yang menghasilkan 97,1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Modul Luka Memar sangat layak dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran Rias Wajah Khusus.

Abstract

This research was developed through the lack of learning media used in the beauty class program specifically for reporters held on a television station, especially Narasi TV. This study aims to develop a make-up module in a beauty class aimed at TV station reporters. Television reporters need appropriate make-up skills to support a professional appearance through outdoor broadcasts and in the studio. This module is designed to meet these needs by providing systematic, easy-to-understand guidance that is in accordance with professional beauty standards. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distribution in the form of a questionnaire with qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the feasibility value obtained by media experts was 100% and the results of the material expert validity test were carried out in 2 stages with a final value of 87%. Meanwhile, in the trial, students received a one-to-one assessment of 88.6% and in small groups of 88.4%. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Makeup module in the Narasi TV Beauty Class Reporter is said to be "very Appropriate" and "Very Practical" to be used as a guidebook for running a beauty class.

Abstract

This research was compiled from the increasing interest of Indonesian people, especially students of the Cosmetology Education Study Program, towards Korean Beauty which focuses on Korean Make Up Look where students find some difficulties in applying Korean Make Up Look, especially in the ombre lips technique. This research uses a Research and Development model with a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). This research developed a video tutorial on the Korean Make Up Look Ombre Lips Technique which aims to be a learning medium for the International Bridal Makeup course. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distribution with qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the research showed that the results of the material experts at one stage reached 94%. Furthermore, the validation test carried out by the media expert went through one stage and obtained a score of 86.6%. A one-to-one practicality test was also carried out with a score of 94% then continued with a small group test with a score of 97.9%. Based on this assessment, the video tutorial of Korean Make Up Look Ombre Lips Technique used as a learning medium in the International Bridal Make Up course was declared “Very Feasible” and “Very Practical”.
