Abstract

Pendidikan adalah upaya pelatihan terhadap individu untuk membangun pengetahuan, keterampilan juga kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa. Kemampuan berfikir kreatif sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan keahlian pada diri siswa. Siswa yang mempunyai keterampilan berpikir kreatif akan memiliki pola pikir dan daya tangkap yang tinggi jika dibandingkan siswa yang tidak mempunyai keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa, guru di sekolah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan kontribusi Project-based Learning dan minat pembelajaran pada kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa pembelajaran Produk Kreatif dan Kewirausahaan di SMK. Penelitian memakai metode survey berjenis penelitian korelasi, subjek research ini ialah siswa kelas XI teknik las di SMKN 1 Guguk, SMKN 2 Payakumbuh, dan SMKN 1 Bukittinggi dengan total sampel 59 siswa. Teknik mengambil sampel ialah propotional random sampling. Instrumen research ialah angket dengan 45 butir pernyataan tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek, minat pembelajaran, dan keterampilan berfikir kreatif. Hasil research memperlihatkan: (1) Project-based Learning kontribusi signifikansi pada kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa sebesar 28% dengan nilai r = 0,530 dan bernilai signifikan = 0,001<0,05 jadi Ha terterima dan Ho tertolak. (2) Minat belajar berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa sebesar 34% dengan nilai r = 0,588 dan bernilai signifikan = 0,001<0,05 apabila Ha terterima dan Ho tertolak. (3) Pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan minat belajar berkontribusi secara simultan terhadap kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa sebesar 35% dengan nilai r = 0,593 dan bernilai Sig. F change = 0,001<0,05 maka Ha terterima dan Ho tertolak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Virtual Reality Box (VR BOX) as a learning medium on students' motivation, interest, and learning discipline in welding practice for grade XI students of the Machining Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design applying the non-equivalent control group design approach. Data were collected through tests and observation and analyzed using validity tests, reliability, normality, homogeneity, t-tests, ANOVA, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the use of VR BOX significantly influenced students' motivation, interest, and learning discipline. The implementation of VR media created interactive learning, increased student engagement, and reduced fear in welding practice. It can be concluded that VR BOX is an effective instructional medium to improve the quality of vocational practice learning in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of industrial work practice (Prakerin) experience to the learning motivation of 12th-grade students in the Mechanical Engineering Department at SMKS Dhuafa Padang. A quantitative correlational research approach was employed, using a questionnaire distributed to 30 students who had participated in the Prakerin program. The results indicate a strong and significant relationship between Prakerin experience and learning motivation, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.763 (Sig. < 0.001). Simple linear regression analysis shows that industrial practice experience contributes 58.3% to students' learning motivation. These findings suggest that relevant and meaningful implementation of Prakerin can encourage students to become more motivated in their academic activities at school.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus Program provides students with direct experience in collaborating with teachers and principals to improve the quality of learning, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and technology adaptation. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Campus Program Batch 8 among students of the Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University (FT UNP). This study uses a program evaluation research type with a quantitative approach. The research population consisted of 35 students, all of whom were sampled using total sampling technique. The research variable was the evaluation of the implementation of the Campus Teaching Program based on the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Based on the results of the study, the evaluation of the implementation of the Campus Teaching Program among FT UNP students was overall “Fairly Good”. This provides learning experiences outside the campus and improves student skills. However, efforts to improve the quality of each evaluation dimension, especially in terms of student placement relevant to their study programs, clarity of guidelines, and preparatory curriculum, are necessary to achieve the “Very Good” category and maximize the program's contribution.

Abstract

The development of traditional markets is increasingly threatened by market transformation, both physically and through online sales systems (e-commerce). This study aims to analyze the forms of resilience implemented by clothing vendors at Wage Market, Tulungagung, in maintaining their business continuity amidst declining market conditions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. This research utilizes James S. Coleman's Rational Choice Theory. The methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were six people consisting of four clothing vendors, the Head Coordinator of Wage Market, and the Heads of Market Technical Implementation Units throughout Tulungagung Regency. Subject selection was based on a purposive sampling technique. The results show that the forms of trader resilience consist of economic, innovation, social networks, and psychological aspects. Economically, traders maintain their businesses through managing capital owned by personal savings and cooperative loans. In terms of innovation, traders utilize simple technology and a variety of merchandise patterns. In terms of social networks, family support and solidarity among traders are the main strengths, while psychologically, optimism and religious beliefs help them survive. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening vendor strategies through digital marketing training and support for market revitalization policies from local governments to maintain the economic sustainability of vendors during times of market transformation.
