Relationship Knowledge Attitudes Toward Sexual Abuse Prevention In Children 3-6 Years Maemunah, Neni

Abstract

There are many sexual violence cases specially for children, to cope a mother’s knowledge is really needed to attain sexual abuse prevention in children, the mother should have knowledge either what child sexual abuse is, general characteristic, attitude, detect the child’s insulting victim, or bad impact, cause and prevention in order to the mother can support child sexual abuse prevention. This research is aimed to know the relationship knowledge attitudes toward sexual abuse prevention in children 3-6 years. The research method of the study is correlational through cross sectional approach. The number of population is 82 people and the sample is 45 people and the sampling technique is proportionate stratified random. The data analysis is spearman’s rho test. The research result is gotten descriptive analysis presents that mother’s knowledge is much enough is that 20 people (44%). Most of mothers’ attitude categorizes in favorable attitude as many as 31 people (69%). It is concluded that there is significance relationship between mother’s knowledge and the sexual abuse prevention attitude in children 3-6 years in the village of north Mondoroko Bajararum Rw 05 Singosari. This study is expected that the mother could increase the knowledge related to sexual abuse in order to have the attitude to support sexual abuse prevention, such as giving the sex education in early age, teaching to wear the cloths well, teaching the child to distinguish the personal touch, teaching the child to have open minded character, etc.

Abstract

Introduction:Many foods circulating in the community do not meet the healthy snack food criteria. Many children tend to consume unhealthy snacks. Provision of snack food by the mother as a regulator of family consumption determines the type of snack food consumed by children. Objective:This study aims to determine the description of the provision of snack food for children who are at risk of child health by housewives. Method:This research is a descriptive study with the population is all mothers who have children under five in the Posyandu Guyup Rukun RW.05 Klojen Penanggungan East Java with samples taken with a total sampling technique of 41 people. The variable in this study is the provision of snack food. The instrument used was a checklist sheet and a snack food consumption sheet in terms of type and frequency. Data analysis using multivariate analysis. Result:The results revealed that most of the mothers behaved in providing snacks as requested by children on television, did not provide healthy provisions, did not provide pocket money and tended to provide snacks that were at risk for children's health, namely tempura sausage, chicken nuggets, fried noodles and not providing drinks that healthy as fruit juice as a child's snack food.Discussion: The importance of education about healthy and safe snacks for school-age children.

Kesulitan makan sayur pada anak usia pra sekolah menjadi permasalahantersendiri. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadappeningkatan pengetahuan anak tentang pentingnya sayur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah praeksperiment dengan rancangan one group pre test post test desain. Sampel adalah anak pra sekolah4-6 tahun di RA Al Madaniyah sebanyak 49 anak.Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan samplingjenuh. Analisa data menggunakan uji t test sampel berpasangan, dengan SPSS for Window versi17 Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir seluruh 83,7% anak mempunyai pengetahuantentang jenis sayur yang kurang; sebagian besar 55,1% anak mempunyai pengetahuan kurangtentang manfaat sayur ;sebagian besar 69,4% tidak menjawab saat ditanya dampak kurangnyakonsumsi sayur; dan hasil analisa data diketahui bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatanterhadap peningkatan pengetahuan anak ( p value sebesar 0,00; kekuatan hubungan 0,519).Pentingnya pendampingan dan motivasi orang tua dalam mengenalkan sayur pada anak prasekolah, melalui penyampaian informasi singkat secara kontinyu mengenai jenis, manfaat dandampak sayur setiap kali acara makan. Diharapkan dengan pengenalan sayur sejak dini, akanterbentuk kebiasaan mengkonsumsi sayur.Kata kunci: Pendidikan kesehatan,pengetahuan,pentingnya sayur,anak pra sekolahABSTRACTVegetables are one of the types of foods that give a good impact for the health of pre-school agechildren. Data were analyzed using paired sample t test, with SPSS forWindow version 17. The results showed that nearly all 83.7% of children had less knowledgeabout types of vegetables; majority of 55.1% had less knowledge about the benefits of vegetables;the majority of 69.4% did not answer when asked about the impact the lack of consumption ofvegetables; and the data analysis result showed that there is an influence of health education inorder to increase knowledge of children (p value of 0.00; the strength of the relationship 0.519).Mentoring and motivation of parents in introducing vegetables on pre-school children isimportant, about continuous brief information related to types, benefits and impacts of vegetablesin any kind of meal. It is expected with the introduction of vegetables early on, will form the habitof eating vegetables.Keywords: health education, knowledge, vegetables, preschoolers
